1081  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 19, 2023, 04:46:33 AM
Therefore, my bet is on the Suns -7.5 and Cavaliers -5.5.

I got a win! It was easy for the Cavaliers, but the Suns game was a little thrilling because they didn't control the game in the early quarters. Luckily, Booker continued his great performance, and they won and covered the spread. Sometimes, when the bet seems difficult, it's the easiest one.
1082  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 18, 2023, 12:09:59 PM
Games later:

Hawks vs Boston Celtics (0-1)
Knicks vs Cavaliers (1-0)
Clippers vs Suns (1-0)

I'm keeping my options open for these games, but I would like to bet on teams that really need a win. The spread is high for the two teams that I'm planning to bet on, but I guess I'm confident to bet on them.

Therefore, my bet is on the Suns -7.5 and Cavaliers -5.5.
1083  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: April 18, 2023, 11:33:21 AM

However, if they work on their defense, I'm pretty sure they can get the win. Overall, it comes down to the team's defense, and Ginebra is known for having a good defense. That's why it's very unacceptable to see TNT having a shooting spree.

The teams are in a different situation now, both with high confidence, and Game 5 is a must-win for either of them. Brownlee always steps up, so let's see if he'll have a better game in Game 5 and if the locals will get involved. The game will be tomorrow, so if you're interested in betting, you can place your bet now with the Gin Kings being favored by -5.5 points.

The Finals have been predictable, so let's go with the trend.

The winner of each game has covered the spread, so if the Ginebra Kings win Game 5, they will likely cover the spread. However, the spread of -5.5 is high if there are doubts about the team winning, so it's best to trust the team and the referees to do their job.
1084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 18, 2023, 03:22:50 AM
The game is intense, with the Warriors slowly coming back, but the Kings also had their own moments. The first half is over, and the Kings have a 6-point lead. The score now is 58-52. For those who like to bet on the Warriors, they are now at 2.20 ML, and we have 2.01 odds for the 3rd quarter if they win by 3+ points.

It's a very interesting game, and the Kings are the real deal. I am surprised that they didn't easily give up, but the Warriors need to win this game to even the series.

Anyways, good luck to both teams, and enjoy the game
1085  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: April 18, 2023, 02:31:02 AM
Well, in that part you have a complete reason, I saw that fight with the full intention that Pacquiao could give one of those explosive Demonstrations to which we were Accustomed, but I don't know what happened to the Filipino, maybe at that moment it was not thinking more in politics than in anything else, that fight was really a shame, I'm sure that if Pacquiao had Trained a little harder he would have won the fight easily, there are times when athletes trust only their talent and don't train or not they work to improve and be more efficient, and things like that happen.

He mentioned that he was having problems with his foot after the fight, which affected his movement. Pacquiao is known for his quickness, but he wasn't as quick when he fought Ugas, so it's clear that he was telling the truth. However, upsets can happen in boxing, so we can't discount the possibility that Donaire could lose for any number of reasons.
1086  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Some scams that can be avoided that people failed to check!!! on: April 17, 2023, 10:40:15 PM
All your tips explain phishing in one way or another, simply because it is an attempt to use a service that claims to be a reliable service, or at least there is an unreliable service that wants to attract followers by offering offers that are too good to be true.
But the fraud is much greater than that. You may find a real service that works for several years, and yet it deceives you.
So preparing static lists will not solve the problem, but:

 - Be skeptical.
 - Do not trust any service.
 - Always ask and do not be shy to ask the question, no matter how stupid.
 - Finally, do not think that you know everything, because it is the scammers' way of finding victims.
It’s better to doubt all of the services you encounter than to put all your trust in a single service which turns out to be a big scam in the end. So always take caution and never trust easily especially for services that have too good to be true offers. Remember, when it comes to money, scamming is inevitable so never be deceived in any way.
1087  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Taking loan for investment can be life threatening on: April 17, 2023, 09:58:33 PM

Taking a loan to invest in cryptocurrency is not advisable at first time because no certain assurance that this is what will happen in crypto industry.

I will say your uncle have make  a mistake by trusting his friend about a business he doesn't know all about.i don't think your uncle may even have knowledge about cryptocurrency industry, if not he could have not just go ahead and pick a loan to invested cryptocurrency. As for me even it is someone's money that he/she can afford to lose, I will not abide by ideas of giving money to any friends to help to invest in crypto industry because it very hard nowadays to even trust even family members with money.the truth is that anything can happen and hardly human beings admit with others people mistakes.helping others to hold their cryptocurrency investment is what I will not like to do, the best can do is to help them with the knowledge.

Right. Investing into cryptocurrency from a loan certainly increases the level of risk. You could have lose a lot  in the end especially if you invest on those coins who have no potentials to succeed. The reason why we should  only invest a small amount from our hard-earned money, and not from taking a loan. And for OP’s uncle, his way of trusting his friend has gone too far. In the end, he’ll be the one to suffer the consequences of his action. And most likely, even if his friend make some profits, I don’t think the amount of money from your OP’s uncle will still be return.
1088  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: April 15, 2023, 07:20:27 PM
Usually every influencer has checked the rules and bonuses from referrals from each gambling and they tend to target big bonuses from top casino sites, so the solution to get big bonuses must get several whales to register accounts through the referral link that has been shared, even though it's hard to get whales but make sure you get several active referrals and consistently you will get results for additional funds to gamble.
It will be a challenge for the user especially to find the whales invest in what you are sharing. If you have big followers on Social Media, it could be a solution to get more, because there is a bigger market. But, it only works if the casino you have shared has a bigger name also, If still new, the possibility to get more is the same as you shared here. Because some casino use influencer which has a Million followers to reach out the new user, the casino need established figures like Ronaldo, Kylie Jenner,  Dwayne Johnson and etc. But of course to get what you do want, you must spend money on marketing.
I guess that’s how social media works in gambling, particularly in attracting whales that will actively play in the gambling site. Yes, if you have good number of followers, this will be possible but they should also be active gamblers, otherwise you will only get a small amount of referral bonus. And make sure that what you are promoting is legit and reputable site, otherwise you will be blamed by these people once they got scam in the end. That’s the reason why some gamblers just don’t give it a damn referring or convincing.
1089  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A Thought On Gambling Strategies on: April 15, 2023, 06:59:32 PM
I think people don't understand that there is no strategy in gambling. Gamble but consider your spendings on it as an entertainment expense. Got luck on your side and won? Good. If you don't you still had fun.

It’s just that people have a lot of strategies to use but certainly, they don’t work in gambling. The only weapon that we should have for gambling is luck. Without it, you’ll never be good enough in gambling. That’s why we often heard that when someone hits the jackpot prize, a lot of people will make a compliment that he/he must be lucky enough. It’s always luck with some sort of skills that comes winning in gambling.

You got registered barely a month ago and you feel you're you're supposed to make much more impact than these? I'm tryna get what you mean... Dude, it's never easy anywhere... I mean, I could show you the screenshot of my account when I only had 16 merits...Mhannn, my ass began to shrink. It didn't really matter to me at first but when I realized I had some restrictions to my rank, I had to push further ...
You' gotta push harder, cus YOU'LL actually fail in the process.... Don't stop!! It don't matter what you've been through anyways, it all depends on your whole effort. Secondly, be yourself, be real, be authentic... Don't try to force into people's shadow; you can never be me or anyone else in here.

Have your own identity in the forum and then work for it. There’s no need to hurry since there’s no competition, and besides the learning process takes time so enjoy and seize every opportunity that comes. Just be yourself, and never gets pressured with merits. They will all come to you easily once you have proven your worth in the forum. For now, maximize your learning first without pressuring yourself for the time being.
1091  Economy / Economics / Re: Quit borrowing on: April 15, 2023, 02:00:31 PM
Debt is becoming a major issue now, not just in America but all over the world, people's incomes remain stagnant and inflation is catching up with their income, what we used to buy for $1 is now worth $2 and it is even worse in the developing countries because the purchasing power of their local currencies has lost value against USD plus high inflation. What I used to advise people is the adjustment of lifestyle, why drive a car, when you can take the bus, if you are used to eating out, cook your food at home, just look for ways to cut costs, another thing don't be lazy, find ways to reduce your cost of living in a legitimate means. It is a great feeling when you know you are free of debt, debt is a trap and most people that enter into it never get out of it, if you used it as leverage to scale up your investment or business very good but consumption is bad.
If we can’t live below our means, that’s when debt becomes a natural disaster. Though it’s not new to us anymore as majority of us are having our own debt, but if we can avoid it as much as possible, I guess living life would be more healthy and meaningful. Otherwise, if one will be drown into debt, expect that you will surely have a hard time making ends meet, which means one will certainly suffer from financial breakdown once ignored.
1092  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What's your most preferred Bitcoin investment strategy right now? on: April 15, 2023, 01:38:22 PM
Everyone is have his own investment strategy, and my investment strategy might not work for you, so I believe it’s better everyone get his own strategy. For me my best investment strategy is Holding, which have been working perfectly for me for years, any cash am having and I won’t be using for that particular time, I always use it to accumulate more bitcoin and I don’t really care if bitcoin is going to dump more or pump.
With bitcoin investment, I also think DCA would best fit for it as long term hodling will help ensure bigger profits in the future. But even so, regardless if it’s long term or short term goal, DCA will still be a lot helpful as it may lower our stress and risk level. Though trading is quite more promising and overrated when it comes to bigger profits accumulation, but long term hodling is still as good as trading too as long as you’ll never be tempted to sell when price crash suddenly appears.
1093  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: we don't have proper education on bitcoin. on: April 14, 2023, 09:53:21 PM
Please correct me if I am wrong
Even in today's modern world, except for a few people in Europe-America, the general public of the entire world does not have a proper understanding of Bitcoin. Sad Sad Except European-American, anyone who have a little idea about Bitcoin also have misconceptions. Due to this problem, many people are unable to invest in a great platform like Bitcoin even if they want to. This problem may not seem like a big deal to many, but think about third world countries. A sad reality is, in my country 80-90% of the population are not familiar with Bitcoin.
Is there any way to solve this problem?
People will fall for misconceptions if they won’t seek valid information about bitcoin. You know, everything comes easy right now, even on educating yourself, you can just scroll all over the internet and easily find what you are looking for. That’s why even with lack of proper education for bitcoin and cryptocurrency, there are still a good number of people who have succeeded in bitcoin because they learned not just by due diligence in researching, but also by experience.
1094  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Females domination in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies on: April 14, 2023, 09:32:48 PM
Women usually are less interested in technology discussions than men.
Also, they are usually less interested in investment discussions than men.
Is there valid research about this?
In this modern era, I assume both men and women have the same interest in technology or investment.
There is no limitation for genders in any field, both men and women are educated enough. So, both men and women may have the same chance to engage in the discussion about technology and investment because all have the same capability and the same level of knowledge. IMO, how big the interest should depend on an individual's knowledge, Not gender!

There are many great women who are an inspiration, as the OP said.
Agree. What OP stated above is only a few examples. There should be many other great women that we never know.

As much as men can do great and excel in bitcoin and in cryptocurrencies, i believe women too can do that. In this modern world, what men can do, women are capable of doing too. So I don’t think there is domination of gender in crypto investments and technology. Everyone is given equal opportunities, it’s up to the user on how he/she will take advantage of the opportunity and how he/she will make most of it.
1095  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: April 14, 2023, 04:07:21 AM
Put about $100 worth of bitcoin on the Bulls last night at +5.5 .  I thought I was doomed in the third quarter.  I am pleasantly standing corrected about Zach and Demar last night.  Lavine was absolutely incredible.  It's so frustrating when a guy of his talent level and skill COULD be a mega-star, I mean he's got the skills to be that, and he was that last night..but he just can't seem to do it consistently.  Frustrating.

Looking forward to betting this Bulls game tomorrow vs Miami.

That's a significant amount of money. If you choose to bet on the moneyline, you could win even more in that particular game. I believe that the Bulls are on a mission to make it to the playoffs. Their ability to come back from a large deficit, which the Heat were unable to do against the Hawks, is evidence of their determination. Therefore, I think we should go with the Bulls here as they are more likely to secure a spot in the playoffs.
1096  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 14, 2023, 03:08:47 AM
This is the last day without NBA basketball for a while. Tomorrow night we’ll find out the final playoff standings with the results of the play-in tournament. Then it’s everyday NBA playoffs for a while. Best time of the year. This weekend we should have an idea of how the first round is going to go and see which teams are able to take it up a notch.
It's a good time to rest and refresh our minds especially those who will be making their bets. We got to really analyze the game and leave emotions behind. Although I know it cannot be avoided.  Grin

Kings coach Mike Brown voted NBCA's Coach of the Year
https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/36179274/sources-kings-coach-mike-brown-voted-nbca-coach-year
Mike Brown! Yeah! He deserves it.
I think we all knew it, all of the Basketball Coaches knew it, everybody in the league knew it already way before the end of the regular season.
We all knew who will be the Coach of the Year. Coach Mike Brown really turned the whole Kings upside down. From a team who's in the bottom, and didn't reach the playoff for 16 straight years to now one of the top offensive teams in the league, and take note that it's only his first year coaching the Kings though he got some experience being an assistant coach on the Warriors. Credits to the runner ups I guess.

Now I just saw it on Facebook a while ago and it's the Rookie of the Year award. Just look at the picture alone, and you will see how stupid the voters are.

Paolo Banchero is one vote away from being the unanimous Rookie of the Year, but look at that stupid one voter down below who voted for Walker Kessler. Also take a look the outlet where he is working. Salt Lake Tribune is from Utah. I don't want to say stupid to him, but he ruined it because he voted for the rookie that's playing on their home. Banchero must've been the only unanimous Rookie of the Year since KAT in 2015, but he ruined it.

That's him being biased, but there's nothing wrong with that as despite he is biased, we cannot deny that Walker Kessler has an impressive season with the Utah Jazz. He average 2.3 blocks per game, the highest among the rookies and has a big impact on the success of the team despite missing the play-in. Just let is pass, he has a job to do, and that is to ruin Banchero's unanimous ROY award.
1097  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you still advised more buy and store? on: April 13, 2023, 09:21:29 PM
I was thinking new kind of plan to buy bitcoin every month from my salary immediately my company paids me but I still have other responsibilities to carry with family so am skeptical about it especially now that the price has no direction. If can afford storing every month in a long run I may realizes half of bitcoin unit and that's a big achievement to buy but to you is funny because you have enough of it. So advise me on what to do! Should I hold on because of the instabilities in price? Or I should buy and store? Over to you
Don’t invest if you think you’re not capable enough. Remember that there’s no certainty in any investment, so whether it’s a profit or loss in the future, at least you only invest in your spare money and what you can afford to lose. Otherwise, if you stick to your goal leaving behind your family’s obligations and responsibilities, if your investment does not work in the future, you will surely regret your decision and your money will hard to regain anymore.
1098  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Nghitumbwa (May 13) on: April 13, 2023, 11:37:17 AM
We never know what will be the outcome we are all expecting from how we speculate the possible outcome.
But it's easy to predict the winner of this fight because the opponent of Casimero is not on his level if we base it on the books.

This would just be a tune-up fight for him, not a big threat that could ruin his career. I'm sure Casimero will not allow that as he will continue to train and make a headline with an impressive win.

People need to view him as a top-level fighter, so eventually, he will get a championship fight in this new division.
1099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Champions prediction. on: April 13, 2023, 08:31:09 AM
Just to be unique, I'm betting on the Bulls. This team is decent, they just struggle in the regular season, but look how they played on the road. I have a feeling they could snatch another road game win.

As for their odds to win the championship, they are currently at 500.00, and I think it's worth a try.

Does anyone else think these odds are tempting?
1100  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: April 13, 2023, 08:10:23 AM
What do you think the odds will be for Game 3? So far, the favorites have been winning and covering the spread. Most likely, if Ginebra is listed as the favorite, they will only be a slight favorite with a maximum of -2.5 points. That spread is quite easy to cover provided that the Gin Kings win, and Brownlee? He was not a big factor in Game 2, but he is sure to bounce back, so watch out for that.
The odds are out, but the spread is not -2.5. It's -4.5 for the Gin Kings, which may not be attractive enough. However, knowing that the public always supports Ginebra, there are still some bettors who might take the spread.

The moneyline is 1.52, and the total is 206.5.

In the last two games, the total score has gone under, so I guess we should follow that trend.
The total has been adjusted. Maybe this is another game that will not reach 200 points.
