1961  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 01, 2022, 12:45:28 PM
I think Nets should go on a rebuilding journey again with Kyrie most likely traded and KD looking to opt out of contract as well. The could get future no. 1 picks and for now, just aim to get into playoffs. Could be a franchise defining move if they can find the next LeBron James.

Rebuilding? does not sound like the right word to use. With Durant, they won't be a different team because they have Simmons who is also a superstar, so this team is still going to be a playoff contender or a championship contender, and as long as Durant is healthy, this team will easily get into the playoffs.

Letting Irving go in exchange of more players, that will help them increase their depth and their rotation.
1962  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Reasons why people avoid KYC in gambling casino ? on: July 01, 2022, 12:07:38 PM
Like everyone said here,it's because of privacy and security. You know, some people just want to have fun gambling and not be weighed by those complicated procedure and some people do some shady things that would incriminate them if they give their identities.Casino is mainly for entertainment,so if the customer is not entertained by the way the casino doing business, they will simply avoid it.

And KYC is not fun because it beats the purpose of gambling in crypto which should give us an anonymous gambling experience. I don't know if there are some who would just comply with the KYC, but I believe majority of us here would love to keep our privacy.

The Cryptcasino industry is thriving because gamblers preferred anonymity and privacy, there are instances where gamblers should do KYC on specific situations, like verifying if you made abuse or if you deserve the prize you won because of age legality, this is because of the casino's compliance as a requirement for their license, but there is no requirement when you signing up or depositing.

It's okay if that is the main intention, but if it's only to mislead us or cheat us in order for them to witheld our winning, then that's really a big disadvantage on us because not only they will get our winnings but we are also at risk of our information getting sold in the black market.
1963  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana drop up to 5% on: June 30, 2022, 11:11:47 PM
solana is quite great investment sometimes better than the likes of avalanche and matic.
But if you could accumulate at the right moment basically at the time solana losing majority of its value then you're gonna be making tremendous return of investment at the time of bullish.
just observe its current value and compare it with its ATH, if you see it's already down more than 60% maybe it's a great time to accumulate after all coin like solana eventually goes up.
Solana is in a huge price deduction a good time to buy indeed. But before we decide to buy this we must be sure that we are also willing to wait for the recovery, that possibly a long time. It was spectacular that potential coins are in the huge dump, however, people are still in doubt if they will buy them or not while they are also buying them during the bull season.
Well, even I have the money to invest in crypto, I will still not choose Sol at this time. I have some of it already, so I think that was enough. I'd be rather focusing into Bitcoin and ETH at this time.
1964  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Downfall still possible? on: June 30, 2022, 10:35:02 PM
Some very good coins out there have lost 95% of their value already is it possible to see more down fall? I'm throwing this to those that are present in last bear market, marketcap and volume is over millions of dollars and price is 95% down?  Shocked :I downfall still possible? For example Metahero.
It was indeed to have a downfall experience as this is a part of the crypto market cycle. Everything has been declining and dumping more, and only the projects that have a fundamental will stay while shitcoins believe to dump worse or may die. I'm afraid about this Metahero, I've never heard it honesty. I suggest you OP take a look at its performance and the capacity of the projects in order for you to assess if this really has a fortune or not. To remind you that it was too risky investing in shitcoins.
1965  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: June 30, 2022, 12:27:27 PM
I agree but still, age is a big factor to look at, you have to consider the wear and tear of the body, and then the training as well. Perhaps the training regimen should be different when you are at 30 as compare to 40 years old because old body then to recover slow and it takes a lot of time. Or you can overtrain yourself, just like what we witnessed in Manny, he was showing age in Thurman but still won, but against Ugas, it was a different Manny we see, slow, and no movement perhaps it could be his age really showing on that fight and then he retire.
The age of the boxers is relatively still in excellent physical condition and strong body resistance between 34 and a maximum of 40 years depending on the fitness of each boxer, they must fight according to equal opponents to show knock down abilities, but fight with young opponents only to defensive position and rarely hit hard to be able to bring down the opponent, we can judge it in the Many vs Ugas fight some time ago and vice versa, Floyd Mayweather can still win the boxing fight from Conor McGregor. Between the two fight of the age difference, which prediction is the most dominant for the Canelo vs Golovkin 3 fight, but after Cenelo lost to Bivol then we have to reconsider the victory for Canelo.
That loss of Canelo might have already given GGG some confidence in the coming fight. He is already 40 years old, only few fights are left for him but this one is a very special one, so if he will win this fight, he will always be remembered as beating Canelo is always a big achievement.
1966  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 30, 2022, 11:41:33 AM
My favourite team in NBA are currently Brooklyn Nets. It depends on what team Durant goes to actually.  Grin  However Nets haven't been doing very well for a long time. They have made signings like Seth Curry and Ben Simmons to change the starting five a little. Because they weren't playing that much well before. Seth Curry adapted to the team and started performing nicely. I hope to see his contribution getting bigger next season. However I have big doubts about Ben Simmons. He has had a lasting injury and I don't know how strong he will be able to perform by next season.
I was hoping this time there would be no more drama from Ben Simmons. That's what I want to see and help out Durant posting more wins for the Brooklyn Nets. This will prove if the Nets management really made a good decision in that recent trade for James Harden. The unanswered question was if the Nets knew about that back issue of Ben that had been coming back over and over. I hope they did.
Seth Curry is the big bonus from that trade though, that brother could make it rain 3's sometimes but his strength really comes from his defense. I wish they could maximize that.
Durant is surrounded by role players, I think that's enough for the Nets to be a championship team.

We know the strength of Simmons and we also know his weakness, so as long as he work hard especially on the defensive end, I think he will become a very valuable piece of the nets roster. Everyone has to do their job and they should build a good chemistry so the team will play as one until the end.
1967  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowing projects before launch on: June 27, 2022, 01:39:02 PM
What platforms or websites do you use to track projects before your ICO?
You can check here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=159.0. Some projects do with pre-launch and announce their future ICO or crypto project, yet can't say that they are reliable enough to participate with.

Quote
And what criteria do you use to invest in them?
* transparency
 * liquidity
 * the system used
 * purpose of the project

However, we can't fully verify the worth of the projects earlier until the time has come they are in the full run. Yet, many of the projects didn't reach the middle of the process and just vanish.
1968  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reason Why People(Mostly Newbies) Fall Victim To Scams Easily. on: June 27, 2022, 01:00:21 PM
Newbies are mostly greedy and that they always expect that investments comes with guaranteed profits, the reason why they take every chances in every projects that promise huge profits. If not for their greed, they won’t end up being scammed easily. Also, most of the newbies lack knowledge and experience so their decisions are just only for trial and error, they don’t have various experiences to consider so they would end up with a right and fixed decision in investing.
Greed will come when we want excessive profits even though we have already made profits. Or the newbie joins a program or project that promises to provide great returns over time. If beginners can find out more information about the project, they can find out that it is a scam or a project that has the potential to improve. This triggers beginners to get scammed because of the lack of information about what they will follow.
Too much greed is an unhealthy mindset and most of them ( I think the majority) had fallen to losing ends.
 - too much greed
 - knowledge
 - experience

These are the most probable cause that newbies or some people become a victim of scam projects. And this was the reason also why people had changed and growing as they learn a lot from their bad or worse experiences that open their eyes and see the reality of the market.
1969  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: June 27, 2022, 09:11:00 AM
Agree with. This fight has no reason why should it not happen.

Spence already mentioned that he will fight Crawford before deciding to moved-up weight. The same goal also to Crawford before deciding to move-up weight. These boxers have the same goal - to unify the Welterweight division titles and that is something difficult to achieve.

If only these boxers was in the same with Pacquiao, I think they won't even stand a chance to become a unified champion. Smiley

I hope both parties already agreed on the split of revenue because I read that that's the main problem why this fight might not happen. Spence is trying to get a higher percentage because he has more belts while Crawford wants a 50/50 share, I don't know but if they will not agree then this fight will remain on paper only.
1970  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 27, 2022, 08:54:52 AM
In today's rumors, the Lakers apparently are trying to work a deal to trade Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook for Ben Simmons and Kyrie Irving.  I don't think the Nets would do this, but maybe...  Simmons and Kyrie are headaches while Anthony Davis is considered to be a top tier player with a lot of time left in his career.  With Russell's contract being a negative and Anthony Davis looking to end up in Chicago eventually, I think the Nets would be dumb to do this trade.  LeBron is a fan of Ben Simmons and has won a championship with Kyrie though, so it's a possibility...  With how wacky Simmons and Kyrie are, anything could happen.

It seems to me that this potential deal between the Lakers and Nets will remain just a rumor because Davis and Westbrook for Irving and Simmons look like an unequal trade, and it would be disadvantageous to the Lakers. In addition, there was a contrary rumor a few days ago that the Lakers have no plans to trade Anthony Davis at all.
I don't see why any team would want to keep Anthony Davis or acquire him. He is injured and sits out more then half of every season since entering the NBA. The Lakers are just bleeding money keeping his bum ass.

Don't forget that when the Lakers acquired Davis, they won the championship. Maybe he is a problem because he is very fragile but I think if the team just know how to manage him, they will be able to benefit in keeping him.
1971  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: June 27, 2022, 05:57:07 AM
Nevertheless, this might be the one, specially if he wins in an emphatic fashion against a tough Mexican Warrior in Vargas. And for sure winning by a knock out will put him in notice for fans, analyst and even networks.

A clean Knockout win or a full dominance in every round By Magsayo - should make people convinced that he won the fight clearly.

There's really not convinced at how Magsayo won against Russell but for me, it's not that he will be expected to dominate easily the fight just because the latter is handicapped and dealing with a shoulder injury. Russell, despite his injury, is still performing well and gives Magsayo a hard road to win.

Moving forward, let's just wait and see if Magsayo will show a championship instinct in this fight. After all, this is only his first title defense since he snatches the title from Russell. Let's give him a break and just judge him after this fight.

We can always used that argument against Magsayo, his performance against Russell or against Julio Ceja wherein his power save him from that fight. So it's a win for him regardless, I guess you can put the blame of Russell, if he is injured before the fight then maybe he shouldn't go in the first place. But if Magsayo wins here perhaps a rematch with Russell? Anyway, the fight is just two weeks from now, we shall see how built Magsayo is for his fight.

He can give Russell a rematch so no more doubts about his win, and yes, the fight is coming and hopefully Magsayo will win impressively. Power is not only the key here, Magsayo has the power but lack of skills in boxing, he should know how to score even if he could not KO his opponent as it's very important against a technical fighter.
1972  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which alt-coin do you trust the most? on: June 26, 2022, 10:33:36 PM
I invested in ethereum when it was $700 in 2020 and in 2021 when it was $4000 I sold it. I just  bought again now that the value has reduced. I still trust that it will increase rapidly soon.
There is nothing but Ethereum, the most trusted altcoin. We know how Ethereum has been before. This altcoin seemed unable to survive during the last bear market period, its price dropped very drastically. But in reality, Ethereum shows that it is the best altcoin, the best cryptocurrency after Bitcoin. So that ETH can survive again and have a very high price increase. And I also believe that it will rise again in the next bullish period.
Though it was the most trusted coin in the market among altcoins, however, some people are rejected this because of earning profit concerns as they are more preferred for easy money and believing in hyped projects. But of course, real investors will choose ETH because of its sustainable potential in the long term which is very important. Well, short-term investors will see a different market view and likely have different categories when choosing projects to invest in. But yeah, it doesn't matter, what is important is that we believe cryptocurrencies will recover after the dip.
1973  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think about altcoin market on: June 26, 2022, 09:56:48 PM
Is polka-dot a good price at 7 dollars? This was its price two years ago, do you think that polka-dot can still go down or not?
Even to say it will or not, this still not sure about it. We should have to know the fact that we never know what will happen next. We do speculations, right and it was certainly unreliable unless we are the one who controls and manipulate the market as this DOT and the rest of the altcoins are still reliant on Bitcoin, and once it falls, they will follow as well, and so the pump.

Have we met the bottom for altcoins or all these are just fake outs? What do you think about altcoin market.
Can't say it was a fake-out, haven't seen the trap as this situation is real.
1974  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 26, 2022, 12:03:35 PM
The rumors of a Kevin Durant trade to Portland just heated up quite a bit as Dame posted a picture of KD and him in Trailblazers jerseys to his Instagram. Probably just wishful thinking on Dame’s part, but interesting that he’s fueling the fire of these rumors. I can understand why though. Dame has never played with anyone near Durant’s talent and Portland has been trying hard to get him some help. I thought this was nonsense, but maybe there’s some reality to these rumors.

Damian Lillard is still following his stand not to change teams even though he already hinted several times that he might find a new home. For me, that makes sense to do and he should be supposed to do it for a long time now. Portland Blazers failed to surround him with good role players and I don't know why Lillard is still staying with them regardless of the contract he signed for.

But yes, that rumor is non-sense as that is not close to be happening. Kevin Durant will stay on Brookly Nets and probably will just wait to use his Player Option (if any) before considering switching teams in the near future depending on where the team will end up every season.

I remember him back then when he post on his social media account about Melo.

And things went smoothly for Melo and he again have his chance to play inside the league, let see if this kind of rumors
can be materialized. Maybe Kyrie can stay and be the alpha that he really wanted to be, though it's really intriguing
if there's a chance that Blazers and Nets can take in between and settle the possibilities.

Lillard won't win a championship even if he surrounds himself with good role players, he needs a superstar to play with him and I think Durant would be a nice pair for Lillard as IMO Lillard is better than Irving in terms of relationship with his teammates.

He cannot even win a championship with CJ, how much more if he is the only one left in the team. I don't see him having the skills like Lebron and Kobe, and actually, even Kobe and Lebron needed another superstar to play with them in order to win a championship.

Lebron  with (Irving, Wade, Davis)
Jordan with Pippen
1975  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 26, 2022, 11:37:52 AM
What a game by the TNT.

Mikey Williams contributed hugely in this game, Phoenix did win the 1st half but it was the TNT who dominated the 2nd half.
Williams scored 27 points on his first game this season if I'm not mistaken, he still hasn't change, he really is still a superstar.

He already made an adjustment last season and he dominated, so I would not be surprise if he wins the best player of the conference again with the way he is playing.

By the way, the 2nd game seemed not fun to watch if you are a fan of converge because SMB is clearly dominating them now and the lead could balloon to 20 points. SMB will win and they will have a major bounce back after a lose against the Ginebra.
Too early to say to be the best player for this conference but its really possible especially if Williams will stay consistent and have this winning moment always. TNT is one of the big contender for this conference, I can see them playing in the semis. On the other hand, SMB have to bounce back and claim their win again, their last match against Ginebra is very close, unfortunately they failed to win but that's ok since all of the teams now have their own losses, SMB just need to bounce back to get back on track.
They will bounce back as at some point they already lead 30 points in this game, no way converge will have a big run against a good team, I would say this game is already over as SMB will not allow to melt down in the 2nd half.
1976  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Be careful buying alts right now on: June 25, 2022, 10:20:02 PM
I still remember when the price of Ethereum in 2017 reached $1000 USD and then dropped to $100 usd in 2018, maybe a situation like that will happen again, but no one knows when the price will go down, because nowadays crypto investors are smart in managing assets that they have with many things such as staking and farming, of course with the aim of long-term investment
the fall of ethereum in 2018 was very significant and the impact that I felt the most panic and fear was very high for me personally who incidentally as a person who just joined in 2017 and at that time there was no obsi staking and farming there was only holding on to it but everything was treated after selling it in 2020 ago even though ATH still hasn't happened
so the fall in the market will be beneficial for them to buy and is something that must be taken advantage of even though some assets have been stuck 50-70% but all will be cured for those who are able to withstand the pain of a bear market
Choosing the right coins for investment gives us no worries even if the market will dump like in 2018. I won't say that this current bear season is the same as the previous one, however, this will create panic as well if we invest shitcoins, those in hype knowing that they will dump more and hard to recover. It can't be denied to have some fear and uncertainties during the bear season but if we let this feeling controls us, the possibilities we think negatively and lose our minds end up selling our assets.

When the price of bitcoin plunged so deep from the ATH level many speculated that bitcoin would die. But in reality it never happened. If people are experienced and have been investing in bitcoin for a long time then the drop in the price of bitcoin is not surprising, they even take advantage of the price drop situation to buy and increase their portfolio and hold on for the long term to get big profits someday.
Those people panicking that bitcoin will die soon are newbies, because many bitcoin investors knew that this is the best time to buy bitcoin and hold for the price to move higher before they can sell to make a good income. This is the best period to make huge amount of money from bitcoin because the price has fall to $20k few days ago that is making people to buy more bitcoin and add to the ones they had bought when the price was $30k in the crypto market.
Most are newbies but there are certain people who are here for many years that still have that feeling especially when they bought Bitcoin during ATH. Well, I understand their feelings, it was their emotions that drag them to think that way that is why upon investing in crypto we must be sure that we are strong enough to face the consequences with this form of investment as the risk is too high. And those who come with such preparation will likely end up profiting.
1978  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: June 25, 2022, 12:40:46 PM
So we will see if Magsayo can test that and landed on Vargas and if he can get up and not get knock out by that left by Mark.
Vargas should not allow that to happen as Magsayo really has the power to knockout an opponent, that's the best chance of Magsayo to win and therefore Vargas should be aware of that. Why would he give Magsayo the edge in the fight if he can score by points only, he has to be smart to beat the champion.

Magsayo is not a champion for just nothing if Vargas will be careless. Magsayo can take the full advantage

knocking him down. The Pinoy pride is also explosive and has a solid combination that can KO Vargas. It's expected that both
fighters will be aggressive proving something in their upcoming fight, there's no room for mistake and carelessness, fans will
love to see explosive toe-to-toe exchanges of punches between them.

I hope both will be aggressive so we will have not to worry anymore about Magsayo successfully defending his title. This is his first defense, right? So he should make an impressive win here, a KO win is the only way, there's no way Magsayo will win in the judges scorecards on this fight, he should seek for a KO as fans would love a boxer who is a KO artist.

Personally, I really like to see how both will come up inside the ring with both intentions to win,

Vargas to attain new division belt while Magsayo is to defend his title and bring more hypes to his name, the winner will take
all especially the token to have more money fights.

We will just need to wait for the outcome of these upcoming fight almost 3 weeks or fewer and we will see them inside the
ring and start impressing the fans.

Magsayo has to win this because he is the only Filipino champion that is left.

In the bantamweight division, we had Donaire and Casimero, but now they don't have the belt anymore.
Only Magsayo is left, hopefully he will not be pressured and he will also work hard to retain the title and maybe soon he can move up in weight to collect another belt.

Just to correct you though, we still have one Filipino champion, Rene Mark Cuarto, who held the IBF mini-flyweight title. And he will have a fight against a Mexican Daniel Valladares, so he will have to travel to Mexico and this fight is scheduled on July 1.

For sure there could be pressure on his shoulder to keep the Flag flying for us and this is a very difficult fight for him. Nevertheless, he has a good chance to win against Vargas.

Thanks for the correction but honestly I don't know Rene Mark Cuarto, I haven't seen him fight yet,  your comment makes me search this guy on youtube as I'm quite interested on how good he is since he is a champion.
1979  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 25, 2022, 12:09:15 PM
The first game has already started.

The score is 41-30 in favor of the Blackwater, but it's too early, I don't understand why they are even in the bookies when it's very clear that Blackwater is the better team. What are your thoughts on that? I guess Blackwater is an easy pick here.

Yeah, it's an easy win by Blackwater, they already lead 22 points after the 3rd quarter and I don't think that DYIP will be able to have a run in the 4th quarter for a come back win, congrats in advantage to those who bet on Blackwater to win.

I think they didn't win a single quarter, the game ended up like it was a one sided game.
Blackwater win by 37 points, the final score is 107-70, hmm... I didn't realize that there's a huge odds waiting for a special bet for a team winning 26+ points, the odds of that one is sure more than 50+, sometimes I put a bet on that but this one I did not think it's gonna happen.

It was the biggest win in their franchise history, a team that was a very bad team in the past season is now playing a very good basketball. They are now number 2 in the standing with a 3-1 record, they have really achieve something big already thus far.
1980  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best time to buy or wait a little bit ? on: June 24, 2022, 11:17:02 PM
The best time is now and is bullish about Bitcoin at this period.
I like your buying strategy and I think it is the safest investment method, especially in a volatile market like Bitcoin, I did a similar buying move recently but since I bought at 19k it has not gone below that price as Bitcoin recovered back to 20k and have remained at that benchmark for a while now. This strategy is best for a ready bearish market because it can go side ways Bitcoin may never go below 20k again for a while and can even make more bearish movement thereby reaching a price around 25k and after then recover back to 30k or above, the cash you are holding may become at lost to you because at that time hard it been you bought Bitcoin 100%. Am not saying that will happen any was but just take this as the next investment and buying advice to look into.
That is our biggest regret if we just wait for the market to start recovering before we buy. If we can do it that way, why not do this while the price is cheap?

As to see the market is moving back high again, we got this uptrend momentum for while. Currently, the price of Bitcoin is $21,327 (at this post base on the CMC), a good-looking green market shows a positive impact while people and huge investors are accumulating Bitcoin in the past days. I think we are getting close to recovery, might see it was early but at least we got this point that we are up at $20k again.
