Hey Patrike, there seems to be a bug with right click > change pool > pool. This has existed for quite some time. It'll swap miners to a new pool, but if the miners restart they'll default back to the pool they were originally on. Looking at properties of the miner they'll show the old pool instead of updating to whatever pool you swapped to.
The operations to Change Pool and Add Pool and so on are not making any permanent changes to the miner configuration - only changes what you currently mine.

There should probably be an easier way to persist these changes to the miner if preferred (I do see your point here), although it would be a bit different on ASIC miners compared to GPU miners here, as saving pools to an ASIC is not always an easy operation.

And happy new year to all!!!
I also would like to say Happy New Year and thanks to everyone!

Let's continue with all great discussions we have related to mining and Awesome Miner.
1983  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: January 01, 2019, 05:15:38 PM
After update to latest v. 6.0.9 my Coins tab shows completely blank page. Tried all the obvious switches in coins options but no luck.
Can you please send me both your Awesome Miner log file (toolbar: Tools -> Log File) and if possible also the configuration file ConfigData.xml located in the folder: %appdata%\AwesomeMiner\

With this information I should be able to find out what the issue is. Thanks!

PLS add miniZ

miniZ is a fast and friendly Equihash <144,5> Cuda miner. https://miniz.ch

Thanks - I will consider this one. So far I've not had many requests about it.

Hi,
are there any plans to support FPGA Miner like the BlackMiner F1 from HashAltCoins ?

https://www.hashaltcoin.com/en/miners

The Miner uses a slightly modified control board from the Antminer L3+ (CGminer Version   2.3.3)

since it supports different bitstreams (algos) switching the pool and the algo must be happen at the same time.

regards
hagie
I'm not really familiar with these kind of devices. If they do provide a montioring interface (API) I can add support for them.

Based on the fact that they run Cgminer - have you tested if Cgminer is running with the API enabled already? Or are there any way of accessing Cgminer settings via a web interface or Cgminer.conf via SSH on this miner?

Awesome Miner version 6.0.9 ( Development preview of 6.1 )

This is a smaller update that includes updated versions of mining software.

To get access to development versions, open the Options dialog in Awesome Miner. In the General section, enable Check for development versions. Then go to the Menu and click Check for updates.

Direct download links if needed:
www.awesomeminer.com/download/setupdev/AwesomeMiner.msi

working release, checked. thank.

I am not getting any stats back on console when running T-rex (multiple rigs). Zenemy works fine. T-rex is getting fired up and is running fine just not passing anything back re. hashrate, shares, etc.
T-rex miner works fine when I test it. When T-rex miner is starting, do you see a message similar to "ApiServer: HTTP server started on 0.0.0.0:4053" (the port number will be different in your case)?

Can you please send me the Diagnostics output from this miner and also the API report (toolbar: Tools -> API Report)? Thanks!

how can i add config.json from xmrig to a managed host miner?
Awesome Miner doesn't have any built-in feature to populate these kind of configuration files. Is there a specific setting you need to define that cannot be specified by a command line argument instead?
1988  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [Awesome Miner] - Powerful Windows GUI to manage and monitor up to 200000 miners on: January 01, 2019, 04:54:53 PM
Claymore's Latest version is v12.0:

- zero devfee for all 2GB and 3GB cards in all operating systems.
- reduced devfee for dual mode, now it is 1%, same as for ETH-only mode.
- a bit reduced required GPU memory (both AMD and NVIDIA) so you can mine ETH a bit longer on cards that don't have enough memory.
- added version for CUDA 10.0, it is a bit faster for latest 20xx NVIDIA cards.
- a few minor bug fixes and improvements.
Claymore Ethereum Miner v12.0 is included in the Awesome Miner development release 6.0.9.

Please build add OhGodAnETHlargementPill tablet launch https://github.com/OhGodACompany/OhGodAnETHlargementPill
I know that there are many users that already added this one to the start/stop actions when running Ethereum miner. I do however agree with your point that Awesome Miner should take care of all this automatically. I will look into this for future versions.

Hello @PAtrike I want to suggest an easy function.

We already have an option for when AM enters to mine a currency, mine a minimum time that you can define, is very good to ensure that the miner is already hot and gives the appropriate profit. I for example use 3 minutes.

But there is something very similar that can be done and that can greatly improve the auto profit, especially with the theme of auto exchanges such as Zpool etc ... Many times in Zpool or in Nlpool when an al-go goes into profit, it it does in flash mode, that is, it makes a profit of 0.0030 and in two minutes it stabilizes much lower, even if it is not profitable, which makes a false profit change.

You could put an option next to the other where indicate that a currency when it is profitable, it should be X minutes (for example 3, 4, 5, 6 miutos) and so know that it is not auto exchange problem.

The problem is that when a currency enters into profit in the auto exchanges, they exaggerate the profit until a couple of minutes passes and re calculate the profit, and when it does the profit goes down to the real. With this option we can control even more the false changes of auto profit. They also serve for loose coins, which suddenly receive too much hash and fall into performance. For me I would use it with a time of between 3-5 minutes to make sure that the change is more likely to be successful, and leave time for the auto exchange
Thanks for the suggestion. I agree that this would be a nice feature to have.

I see prices different from bid and ask in STL. Maybe he's fixed it already?
https://cointomine.today/calculator/coin/STL/
Yes, now they are different. That wasn't the case when I sent you the link before. My point was also that looking up a coin directly on the web site for troubleshooting purposes can be a good - to take out Awesome Miner from the equation.

New version of NBminer 12.1

https://github.com/NebuTech/NBMiner/releases/tag/v12.1

API doesn't works for me, hashrate is displayed in console but not in AM.
Thanks for letting me know. I will take a look at this one as the latest version may have introduced some API changes. The plan is to support the new NBMiner version in the next release.
I was just trying out version 12.2 and it shows the hashrate correctly.

If version 12.2 isn't working for you, could you please send me the API report for it (via the toolbar Tools -> API Report). Thanks!

1995  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Alternative to Awesome Miner for Linux? on: December 27, 2018, 03:02:48 PM
This was an old thread that came to life again, so in case anyone else find this topic I'm happy to inform that not long after this question was asked, Awesome Miner Remote Agent got support for Linux as well.

However, I'm using Awesome Miner which is freaking great and I love that it makes switching coins or adding new coins is so easy.
Thanks for the nice feedback!

Unfortunately, Awesome Miner doesn't exist for Linux so I need an alternative. I don't want a dist like Simplemining or the likes, I would prefer a seperate program that can run on Ubuntu.
This is exactly how the Awesome Miner Remote Agent works on Linux. You don't need to use a specific mining distribution. Instead you can install and run the software with a few simple commands on any Ubuntu distribution (or on top of any of the existing mining distributions). For more details, please see:
https://support.awesomeminer.com/support/solutions/articles/35000086210-remote-agent-for-linux

Thanks!

Patrike,

temperature rules for TeamRedMiner doesnt work, AM ignore them or just dont execute them (dunno). Can you check that please?

Maybe its because TRM have restricted API access? Is there any way to make that work? I really need an alert when a specific temperature is reached.
Do you see the GPU temperatures on the GPU tab for this miner? If not, this feature might help you:
https://support.awesomeminer.com/support/solutions/articles/35000086014-display-additional-gpu-information

TRM always uses Restricted API mode. What kind of operations are you trying to perform? Operations like Notifications and Reboot should always work for example.

https://github.com/andru-kun/wildrig-multi/releases/tag/0.15.0

added mtp algo
added SSE4.1 instructions to boost MerkleTree generation on low-end CPU's
added huge pages support for faster memory operations(need fresh Windows start and enough memory)
reworked --mtp-stable-power
Thanks. Is it correct that this 0.15.0.7-mtp version is for mtp only? I think I missed that part in the previous Awesome Miner release.

If that's the case, Awesome Miner should include only version 0.14 at the moment and 0.15.0.7-mtp should be a custom zip-file path for a user defined Managed Software.

Have you used WildRig successfully on this computer before, or is it the first time? The reason I'm asking is about the highlighted line above indicating that the Microsoft VC++ 2015 runtime is missing and this could be the issue.

I noticed that the ANON is not correctly displayed on coincalculators, but on whattomine is correct.
I did a rewrite in the awesome ANON to ZHASH settings but it didn’t work.
I think coincalculators report incorrect data.

It would be nice to add to the awesome calculator priority function for a single coin.
Thanks for the suggestion. This might however add a bit too much complexity to the configuration - but I understand the scenario you describe. Hopefully the coin statistics providers resolve any reported issues as soon as possible.
