1981  Other / Meta / Re: I'm not going to comply KYC on: April 01, 2019, 02:27:16 PM
The funny thing is a lot of people nowadays gets easily offended by really obvious pranks just like this one in the forum. They couldn't even accept the fact that its April Fools' Day, that even if you have written fake ass info in the KYC page it will still be "accepted" by theymos as verified. They always see the negative in something and try to fight for it even if theymos didn't mean to offend anyone on his prank.

Oh and don't worry about the KYCs you are seeing right now as because most of them are requiring KYCs due to the government's order. What you need to worry about more are sites asking for KYC that don't even have a legal bakground behind their operations.
1982  Other / Meta / Re: KYC now required on: April 01, 2019, 03:49:54 AM
Hoping that this selfie of mine squinting my eyes would be enough to pass the extended verification process. It was early in the morning and I have to sleep back again after the selfie. So please theymos extend my verification in the forum because I have read all the forum rules and had followed it, I'll be more behave once I get my account verified, Thank you. Happy April Fools' day everyone hoping that you get a good laugh at this, luckily r1s2g3's prediction about the KYC requirement didn't get notice on that thread so I think it still manage to surprise most of the members here.
1983  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Binance Raw trading data on: March 31, 2019, 05:27:02 PM
So the price range for Binance's historical data range from 350$ to 1500$ which I don't think normal traders would be interested to buy since most of the data can already be provided by other free services online. The only thing I can think off that will buy this data are either their competitors or some companies in the financial industry trying to create data solutions for others. So if you are thinking that you can piece out their data and sell it cheaper it may work but you will only have a limited market for it as I don't think people will be comfortable on shelling out hundreds of dollars for a data they don't even know how to take advantage of.
1984  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-03-29] Canadian Oil Companies are [Somehow] Mining Bitcoin on: March 31, 2019, 04:54:35 PM
~snip~

I think they still burn the gas in the process though. I can't imagine any way of utilizing natural gas for Bitcoin mining other than burning it to heat water and produce steam which further turns a turbine to generate electricity. So basically they are burning gas to produce electricity instead of just wasting it by flaring, and so they are not causing more harm to the environment by doing that.
I have to stop you there, the thing is with flaring you completely convert the methane gas into CO2. But if the unusable gas is use for other production it doesn't decimate the methane itself as it will still be use in electricity generation thus making a methane emission possible. The electricity generation is not the main culprit here but the process behind on making it as typically not all of the methane gas is utilize and some of it escapes in our environment during the process.
1985  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Technical Analys with funnymay [ANN] on: March 31, 2019, 04:01:46 PM

You should change your website's link for your screener page as it isn't working. I notice that while scrolling to your website the proper link for your screener page is with a .php at the end.

Code:
http://www.funnymay.com/screener.php

The website looks good by the way. It all has the necessary tools I have seen in a stock analysis tool service which is a good thing to see. All I just wish for is for you add a 52 week high/low as well as the last 3 candles in the list on your Analytics page.
1986  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: March 31, 2019, 02:22:42 PM
If Bayern Munich is at home then I don't think Dortmund has a chance. Indeed, it will really be a very big test for them.
I badly want Dortmund to take this title but I don't think they will get points from Allianz Arena but who knows... maybe prayers could be answered in another way and Bayern Munich somehow slips up once again.
Not as difficult as you might thing aside from them being toe to toe in the standings both of them are pretty even during the last time they have faced each other. Dortmund got away with a win finishing the match against them 3-2. Both of them also have notable players who will likely miss the match for Dortmund Pulisic won't be playing anytime soon while Bayern Munich still don't have any updates if Manuel Neuer on his injury. This will be a fun match to watch as the top position is on the spot for both of them.
1987  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC might do something nice soon. TA only ( No crystal Ball/s) on: March 31, 2019, 01:20:21 PM
One thing to remember is that moving averages when aligned on their proper order, meaning the 20 SMA will be above 50 SMA (and the 200 SMA will be below on both of them) will signal a confirmation of the bull run. But by the looks of it you are right to say that it might actually take weeks before a bull run happens. Based from the chart you have given the 20 SMA shows no signs that it will do a crossover above the 50 SMA line, in fact it still shows that it is still going down nearing the 200 SMA which is a scary scenario to see if it crosses below that said moving average.
1988  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: STELLAR GOLD - Plagiarized Whitepaper on: March 31, 2019, 12:06:57 PM
p.s. This is the first time I deal with this kind of situation, and I hope I didn't do anything wrong.

@loquat8899 for a first timer you did a good job on your first scam accusation, however you did missed to provide a Archived copy of their ANN and Bounty thread which is usually a standard procedure to save the evidence. Luckily bubbalex have saved a copy of the original ANN thread before it got deleted, and the bounty thread is still left untouched so might as well save an archived copy for it. Not archiving the evidence will also lead them to delete their old one and create a new one without the incriminating evidence you have provided for their latest attempt just like what they did.
1989  Economy / Economics / Re: Using bitpay creditcard for paying everything in BTC without fiat-money? on: March 31, 2019, 11:10:54 AM
BitPay Card isn't really a credit card, it's only a prepaid debit card that you can load your BTC in. The catch is you really don't pay anything with the BTC you load in the prepaid card as the BTC you are loading it to is just converted to U.S. dollars so basically it just like cashing out your BTC from an exchange to a bank you have a debit card in. Even if there is a Bitpay Credit card not unless you are repaying your debt with BTC you aren't actually using your BTC to buy anything so I cannot really call it as a credit card.
1990  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Simple self attitude can help to surviving in cryptocurrency for newbie on: March 30, 2019, 07:38:28 PM
You are right newcomers always lack the thought of doing a background check first before they even put their money on something. One of the dumb mistakes newbies do in the crypto industry is that they easily get on board on something once they see its promising on their view. But the mistake is they always skip the part where they do the necessary background checks and research needed to confirm it. All they ever care about is that they have the money and the rest will take care of itself. In the end they'll discover that all of their hard earned money is gone.
1991  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Toybitz: The Bitcoin Explorer on: March 30, 2019, 05:18:15 PM
1992  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-03-29] Canadian Oil Companies are [Somehow] Mining Bitcoin on: March 30, 2019, 03:45:12 PM
By utilizing the natural gas, rather than flaring it as many oil fields do, the company is able to offset their operational costs by profitably employing a byproduct of oil mining that is typically wasted.
This could be a double-edged sword for us if this became a popular thing for gas companies to do as alternative to gas flaring, although at first "flaring" or what its usually called "gas flaring" looks like a bad thing for the environment it actually benefits the environment by reducing methane's contribution to global warming as it converts the gas to a less harmful gas called CO2. By still using the natural gas to power up the mining equipment they are actually utilizing the methane which is potentially harmful to the environment.
1993  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 29, 2019, 03:27:23 AM
Ronaldo will not play in next three Serie a games .Juve wants to be sure he will be healthy for Ajax battle. There is only one target for Juve now
Juventus is already leading 15 points against the 2nd team in Serie A so there is really no point on overplaying your star player. This is a smart move for Juventus as they want to make Ronaldo in peak condition before the match. Winning the Champions League is really the main goal now as they already have secured the Serie A title this early. If they win this UCL Serie A teams will have a much better position next competition.
1994  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: March 28, 2019, 07:17:00 PM

Just saw the replay today, not an official match in Serie A nor in any of the leagues but its a match against the Legendary players who played the 2007 UCL Final which Milan had won against Liverpool 2-1. This match was held for the charity event made by Liverpool and was attended by around 50,000 fans at Anfield. All I have to say is even at 39 years old Andrea Pirlo still got it, he managed to score a free kick goal easily. Unfortunately Milan didn't win this time as Liverpool came out with the win. Good to see an event happen as it tried to recreate the best rivalry in the past.
1995  Other / Meta / Re: Grant Me Legendary Status on: March 28, 2019, 06:16:34 PM
The problem is on you, not on the merit system.
I'm not with tk808 on this one but taking a quick look at his post history you will see that he ain't no shitposter and majority of his post are composed intelligently based on the topic he is replying or posting. The problem I see here is his posts are not getting the same attention as it is buried by a lot of shitposts in between so it gets unnoticed by other members, if he posted this good let say in the meta section (which he did now) he will probably receive a lot of merits which is happening right now. Sadly I don't think theymos can grant some kind of exception for you and the best thing he can do is to add more merit sources who are active in the Altcoin ANN discusion.
1996  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-03-28] Bitcoin Exchange Coinbene Swears it Wasn’t Hacked: Traders Fear the on: March 28, 2019, 05:24:14 PM
Now that Coinbene's website is back online the fastest way to confirm if it was really hacked is the users feedback about the matter. After observing some tweets with the tag #Coinbene so far there are no reports of loss funds with any account all tweets are related to the news about the 105$ million on the move from Coinbene's wallet. So I think it safe to say that the rumors aren't true as there are no users reporting any kind of issues up until now.
1997  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Looking for Crypto Lawyer in Wyoming on: March 28, 2019, 03:28:38 AM
I dont know why people tend to seek these people here online instead on finding on their own local place?   Huh
Maybe the problem here lies with the users itself. Judging by how he has written his OP he barely knows what a lawyer is in his profession. He said that he is looking for an "accredited lawyer" but to start all lawyers are accredited and has the full capacity to entertain all of your legal problems may it be from the civil or criminal side. In the School of Law there is no such thing as specialization for their majors all of them needs to take it and all of them needs to be capable of all kinds of law. It seems like the OP is watching a lot of those legal dramas that is why he has a big misconception for what he is looking for.
1998  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what guides do you use for trading signals on: March 28, 2019, 02:39:08 AM
Although I don't recommend you being highly dependent on such websites, my go-to site for having a 2nd opinion on technical analysis is tradingview, this website shows technical analysis done by other users and you can freely interact with them and other users at the same time comment your own analysis. If you are a beginner this will really help you learn as other users gives an in-depth analysis that newbies can understand, here is BTC's tradingview page as reference. When I say that you must not be dependent on such websites, you must not rely on their predictions everytime. They must just act as a guide on what you will be doing, and there is really no guarantee that their analysis are always right.
1999  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: BINCOINS - FAKE MEMBER on: March 27, 2019, 06:30:02 PM
With regard to conference that you have spoken about, you can also watch the video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AGxR_N6hYkk )so you can make sure this wasn’t any spectacle or Smith, but real presentation.
I still haven't heard any explanation with regards to you hiring Zahar and Kseniia Deina who have previously worked on scams. Why would such a "trustworthy" project hire some known scammers in the crypto community? With the video you provided it seems like Zahar Deina a marketing manager is explaining to what it looks like a technical side of the project which seems to be a little odd given that he is only part of the marketing side of the operations. This only means that his role is even bigger than his position and from what I said before the two Deinas might really be the head of this project.

2000  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 27, 2019, 05:21:39 PM
Bakayoko will be permanently fixed by AC Milan.
This will be a huge boost for AC Milan if they actually have a done deal with Chelsea. Aside from Piatek, Bakayoko is actually one of the players I was skeptical at first on why Milan has signed him but he has proven to be a good signing for Milan and at 35 million Euros I think a bargain is the right word for the "huge fee" they are talking about. Chelsea on the other hand will need this as based from the targets they are hoping to sign they really need the money to at least lessen the financial burden they will have for a rebuild.
