1981  Other / Off-topic / Re: Is it weird to wake up 2 hours before anybody else to have time alone? on: April 02, 2021, 09:05:59 AM
Why would that be a bad sign? Every couple needs a bit of space once in a while, talking from experience as well.
You could use that time to do some exercise also because it seems like you've got a full-on lifestyle. Maybe it'll relax you a bit.

Ofcourse. Should be space to do things that are not bad.
I think husband and wife are One Body, so they shouldn't keep secrets if they are both True Believer and trust each others. I believe it's OK for a good wife to know why the husband stays awake around that time and vise versa.
1982  Economy / Economics / Re: I'm afraid of the crypto craze in Korea. on: April 01, 2021, 06:42:29 PM
I guess by speculative you mean they buy and sell based on what they think the price will be worth in the future?
I think that kind of trading would be ok if people are buying to support a useful project and hope their investments become fruitful for everyone in the future as the project becomes valuable.  So, I hope they invest in very useful and safe crypto projects.
People who are skilled in trading could buy whenever there are major dips, and sell some if they need money for other important things. If traders buy in this manner, price will be kind of self-regulating and volatility will be somewhat moderate. And it's important that people trade with amount they can afford to risk.
1983  Other / Off-topic / Re: Are we in a Simulation? on: April 01, 2021, 04:52:35 PM
Are we living in or otherwise part of some type of Simulation or video game run by a computer, what are your thoughts?

No we are living not, we are living in a free world. If you don'tv believe in free will try and change your habits. For example, you don't like to eat fish, order fish next time for dinner. Life is crazy and real.
A computer program could be made in which we could have what we perceive as free will.

Look at things like Alpha Zero, that thing figured out how to play Chess and Go!

Computers are amazing.

If nothing else its at least good fun to think about.

While I agree with you that computer programs are super effective these days and can easily bear a human, we would need a huge system to simulate the whole world history. Free will might be not true and we all just follow an algorithm. But why get up in the morning then? What if we all decide on one day this year where we are going to remain in bed? The whole world would stop for one single day, it would be chaos and mayhem but controlled by us. I really hope we are not in a simulation.

Freewill really exist. You are free to choose between Good or Evil but will get rewarded for choosing either side. Choosing Good attracts Blessings while choosing evil attracts curses. The CREATOR of our World alone defines what is Good and what is evil.  If you do things that violate HIS Commandments - you do evil, If do things according to HIS commandments - you do good.

The Commandments:
1. Love the CREATOR (GOD) of Heaven and Earth.
2. Love People.

If you obey these two commandments, you please the CREATOR, If you please the CREATOR, you get blessed.
1984  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin halal? on: April 01, 2021, 04:20:42 PM
To be honest, I think a currency or other things can be defiled by the immoral things they are used for. Alot of things have been defiled in this way in our world but we still use them anyway, especially as we don't know what they have been used for in the past . Fortunately, Bitcoin makes it easy to track what users are using it for... Hopefully in the future, it should be possible to destroy coins that have been used for evil and replace them with new coins. This is part of the reasons I prefer the transparency of Bitcoin to other financial systems.
1985  Economy / Economics / Re: bitcoin wasn’t created to make you rich. It was created to make you free on: April 01, 2021, 03:35:30 PM
It's an alternative to fiat financial system... a unique alternative for that matter.
Unlike digital fiat systems, Bitcoin gives users control/power over their funds, enables users take part in network consensus, free users fom censorship etc. True Currency system is supposed to be run like Bitcoin where the users rather than selected few determines how the system is run.  Anyone who understands fiat system would know its setup is more like a dictatorship. A Tyrants would desire such system than Bitcoin unless he/she is able to turn Bitcoin into centralized/opaque zombie.
1986  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would you use locktime for hodling? on: April 01, 2021, 10:36:19 AM
Ofcourse. But I would prefer to use one that  unlocks automatically when price reaches to a certain level.
And I wouldn't lock more than I can afford to risk
1987  Economy / Economics / Re: Flexible Work Schedule on: April 01, 2021, 10:23:01 AM
I actually prefer working in an environment I designed my myself. There are certain conditions that I need in order to work effectively in such environment: Conditions like gentle/quiet environment where I'm alone or where everyone is always minding his/her business (unless there is something really important to talk about), it has to have the right chair/table or I'll end up working while lying down or I'll be constantly moving from one end of the room to another in order to think, etc.   You can easily design such environment at home, probably not so easy at the main work location. So my working place will need to be like a second home to me.
I wouldn't care too much how long I work as long as I'm in the right environment doing what interests me.
1988  Economy / Economics / Re: A Decentralized Roadmap To Compete With Elon Musk/Tesla: The Open Source Car on: April 01, 2021, 09:43:12 AM
I wonder how much people will push this decentralization madness, I can't wait to hear when the army will be decentralized.
The only thing is that people really don't care about how decentralized something is. As long as they can be more comfortable with it or earn a profit from it, it's fine. A decentralized car would not help in any kind of way.. perhaps a modular one would, but we're far off from it and cars themselves are quite customizable AFAIK.

Something people might be interested in is decentralized governance. I think if someone comes up with an idea to successfully create a decentralized government, it'd succeed tremendously.

I almost posted concerning modularization after  my second comment yesterday.

I think modular car can also be built in decentralized manner. Anyone can build his/her own part as long as he meets the right/good standards required for building a safe, fast and efficient car.    Customers will just have to buy the modular Parts from different sources and assemble them together.    This would work better in decentralized and open source fashion.

1989  Other / Off-topic / Re: FLAT EARTH April Fools 6th anniversary on: April 01, 2021, 09:09:53 AM
I wonder which is more believable:
* fishes living on surface of a ball-shaped fishbowl with its own atmosphere. Or
* Fish living in water inside the fishbowl. Ofcourse the water would be at the bottom of the fish bowl and takes the bottom shape of the fishbowl, flat on the surface, but circular in shape.

Fans of ball-shaped "earth" think the Water takes the full shape of the fish bowl, meaning the water is filled to the top of the fish bowl and round like ball in shape.
or maybe they think the fishbowl itself is Earth.

1990  Economy / Economics / Re: A Decentralized Roadmap To Compete With Elon Musk/Tesla: The Open Source Car on: March 31, 2021, 04:29:57 PM
For analogies sake, if tesla has 1 thousand engineers in a centralized format. Could gains be made by decentralizing and opening select portions of their development process to millions of engineers, tinkerers and hackers around the world.
For all product development, it is generally one brilliant mind and a team of people with designated responsibilities. That manpower issue is easily solved in a decentralized setup. That is why Open source manages to work so well.

Yet, when it comes to actually putting things like Engines, batteries, metal, motor windings, permanent magnets and all the other exotic/ expensive material needed for research and development, it is nearly impossible to recreate the allocation of capital and make all kind of tooling and experimental/ testing setup available at one place using only voluntary resources. I believe these things inevitably needs concentration of such resources all under one roof, Skunk works style.

Wondering if that problem can be solved by allowing everyone or every team to build part of the car they are specialized in, according to specifications... Customers could then buy the car parts and get them assembled into a car.

You could have multiple Teams building different parts of the car they are specialized in. One or few members of each team could have all the materials for building their own car part in one physical location while the rest of his/their team can observe and collaborate through live video.

One of the ways to fund such thing could be  through ICO, staking etc
1991  Economy / Economics / Re: WHY IS INFLATION IMPORTANT FOR CRYPTO? on: March 31, 2021, 03:46:28 PM
Ofcourse. Inflation is simply caused by not having enough goods/services to meet their high demands.
Printing lots of money and using that to spend on goods/services without producing enough of the goods/services could increase demand and cause their prices to inflate, and the money will likely lose value against the goods and services.
1992  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to quit the mobile phone and study hard? on: March 31, 2021, 03:05:10 PM
Are you playing with the mobile phone to make you happy or something? Wish I knew what you're playing on your phone (and why) before giving you my advice.

I think if you focus on doing or studying good and productive things that interest you,  make you feel better/happy, things you are passionate about, you will constantly/occasionally be moved to do them and you'll likely derived satisfaction and your happiness from completing them or completing parts of them.
I think you could easily be driven to do things if they make you happy/satisfied. The drive could be strong enough to prevent you from procrastinating.
1993  Other / Off-topic / Re: Tennis players performance on: March 31, 2021, 02:30:13 PM
Ofcourse. But that will probably mean  gathering information regularly about the player's current form. I think you could have businesses providing such services (information gathering on players, teams, etc) in legal manner. The players/teams privacy have to be respect in cause of the information gathering.
I will probably go to places like their training camps/centers where the public are allowed to record their activities.
1994  Economy / Economics / Re: A Decentralized Roadmap To Compete With Elon Musk/Tesla: The Open Source Car on: March 31, 2021, 10:56:55 AM
I think it's possible, and could be better than the centralized development if the right things are done, like applying the Bitcoin Ideals/principles in the decentralized development.
I think quality control shouldn't be ignored in decentralized developments... The development should be based on strong/good rules, and should be Merit-based too.
And ofcourse, you'll need to have very talented/skillful builders building working models together and getting rewarded for solving very useful problems.
1995  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you buy a new campervan? on: March 31, 2021, 10:28:18 AM
I'll probably do thesame thing you did as long as the van can be easily maintained,  the parts are readily available (& cheap), the van can serve me for more than 2 years without easily breaking down, the van should be strong enough or in good condition, etc.
Besides I would avoid capervans that are too attractive/fancy to avoid attracting too much attention. I also don't really it to look like campervan. It should be like normal van.
1996  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fine line between market investment and sports gambling on: March 31, 2021, 10:06:18 AM
The simple truth , (truth should not be confusing or too complicated) 👇

Gambling is taking big risk, whether in politics, forex, stock trading, investment,  sports, etc ,. The big risk is actually what makes it immoral... not the betting itself, otherwise lottery, referee throwing coin in the beginning of a match would be immoral.
The general terms should be Betting/Prediction rather than gambling. People typically associate gambling with taking big risk and  are/were discouraged from gambling.

Betting has to be safe in order to be considered moral.
You can Bet in sports without taking big risk or without gambling.

I have bet few times online but never gambled(except maybe few times in Crypto trading) . I have gambled few times over seven years ago in national stocks and lost alot.

1997  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The realities of modern casinos on: March 31, 2021, 09:28:03 AM
Betting sites actually need to more beneficial to bettors, not just the stakeholders/owners. I have recommended using methods that benefit  bettors more or make them better people... rather than leaving them worse than they were before engaging in the bets.
You could incentive Skill-based betting and reward good performance by ranking up participants, rewarding them with token, points etc.
And you could have more prize winners in  Luck-based betting by splitting the "huge prize" meant for one winner to multiple winners. There are other ways to reward luck-based bettors without necessarily rewarding with money.
It's important to avoid gambling (taking big risk). Only bet with what you can afford to lose/risk. You don't really lose the money by the way... It's distributed to stakeholders and other skilled/lucky participants.

Will hopefully write on how to be Responsible and Successful Bettor without Gambling.
I need to learn alittle bit about certain betting markets before writing this.

1998  Economy / Economics / Re: Covid-19, Lockdown and repercussions on: March 30, 2021, 04:09:44 PM
Our country now is back to ECQ (Enhanced Community Quarantine) for 1 week, people again go to supermarket (Panic Buying). This happened because many people are not following simple health protocol, that our government imposed because of these other people now suffer of losing again job and closing their business. Hopefully people will become responsible for their action to minimize spreading of virus.

I guess you mean not following the health safety protocol/rules is why the disease issue is increasing again, hence the Enhanced Community Lockdown? I want to be sure you do not mean the Panic buying was as a result of not following the safety rules.  While reading your post, I thought the panic buying was as a result of the lockdown or fear of lockdown.
1999  Other / Off-topic / Re: Genome - natures' blockchain on: March 30, 2021, 03:38:09 PM
I don't know how correct the modern information about genome/DNA is, maybe they are just basic or not so correct... the little I read about it shows that Blockchain/Decentralized-system imitates nature than Centralized System. And I really that part about the immutablity. I doubt any information every get "truely deleted" in nature. They will always be recorded somewhere humans don't know about.

By the way, it's claimed that trillions of cells in our body has exact copies of the DNA... more like how people have copies of Blockchain all over the world to keep things decentralized. I find that fascinating
2000  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best Way to Carry Your Seed When Traveling Or Moving Abroad? on: March 30, 2021, 02:59:59 PM
I don't think it's ever a good idea to have one key for all your funds. I think it should be possible to split your funds into many parts and have different keys to control them. The seed method would make this alittle difficult because of the length of the words
