2001  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Newsletter Beta for Altcoin markets: be informed! [new features, 17 slots left] on: February 04, 2015, 04:57:37 PM
Dear users,

I have some news: I still have 17 slots open for the Public Beta, then the target of 50 users is reached.

The next newsletter (it'll be sent in about 11 hours, at 5:00am GMT+1) will give you some imho very interesting details about where all this is going. My opening text in the newsletter will talk about two essential features I have put a lot of time into their development. In a short summary, those features (development not yet finished, but I'm positive to include them while the Public Beta is still running) are:
  • a formula to determine the "intrinsic" value of a coin, so you'll have an idea about whether the coin you're about to buy is over- or underpriced, or if the value is realistic
  • determining the social value of a coin

Both are described in detail in the newsletter, and I'd love to have some more of you trying my service and getting an idea about where all this is going. So, if you're curious and want to find out if this newsletter is of any value to you, you're invited to register at http://bitshit.shice.info/

Best regards,
Thomas - allyouracid.
2002  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][MYST] MysteryCoin - x11 POW End / POS - New Coin, Bittrex, C-Cex - Update! on: February 03, 2015, 01:02:45 PM
From the original post:
Mystery is going to be a game that operates directly on top of the blockchain UTILizing it to create unique coins through the POS cycle that carry semi-randomized attributes giving many coins their own HALue inherent to the attributes applied, rarity, and capabilities in the game.
Yeah, for sure. We're with you. :>
2003  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Newsletter Beta for Altcoin markets: know what's going on! [Registrations fixed] on: February 03, 2015, 12:40:26 AM
Nice Smiley

To those who signed up: it is possible that the mail is landing in your spam folder, so if you don't see it in your inbox within 3.5 hours (that's when the cronjob creates the images of the charts and auto sends the newsletter), maybe have a look there and remove the spam tag, then it should appear in your regular inbox the following times it is sent.
I'm currently about to investigate the issue to sort it out until the service goes public.

If nothing helps, please have me a meagre and I'm more than happy to forward you the message manually.

Best regards.
Thomas.
2004  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: Newsletter Beta for Altcoin markets: know what's going on! on: February 02, 2015, 08:09:53 PM
Number 7 & 8 titles are backwards. I can't create an account, Registration doesn't work, all I get is a blank white page after I click Register.
OMG, this is the very worst thing that can happen: deciding to open a service to the public, committing some changes, forgetting to check one of them and breaking the very essential part: the registration.

It's fixed now, registrations should work. Thank you very much for your feedback.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

And, thanks for the kind words, knightlife999. Smiley
2005  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Newsletter Beta for Altcoin markets: charts & more on: February 02, 2015, 03:01:37 PM
Hey guys,

Notice: scroll down a bit in this post to see the current developments

I have spent the last 6 months developing a website/application (http://bitshit.shice.info/) which deals with Altcoins. I have a lot of features in planning (and development) to give my users a brief overview about the market (currently only Bittrex, but other APIs are about to be included as well).

Here is a set of current features:
  • current main feature: a newsletter which is sent daily at ~5am (GMT+1) with an overview about top performing coins and hints on coins which might see some action
  • I'm collecting price and volume data and save it to my database, so my charts represent 1 day bars/lines with price and volume of each day (max. 25 days in the newsletter for the top 10 coins)
  • on the website, you can explore way more historical price/volume data for all coins on Bittrex
  • I have richlists implemented where you can follow the wallets of certain coins for larger movements
  • there are also charts for the top wallets, and a future version should include a subscribable, separate newsletter which either sends a daily report about wallets that have moved big amounts or sends directly when this happened (useful if huge amounts suddenly move e.g. to an exchange, so you can sell coins prior to an expected dump)
A lot of additional features are in the making, and they will be added in the coming weeks and months.

However, I'm searching for some beta testers who are willing to test the newsletter, because the the Open Beta will start soon.
If you are interested, please register an account on http://bitshit.shice.info/ (you can login directly, you won't receive a confirmation email) and go to "Account settings -> Features -> Premium Features" and enable the switch for "Daily Coin Report". You can safely ignore the prices, as the Beta phase will be totally free of course.

For those concerned about their security: some details about the project:
  • it's build with TYPO3.Flow, a secure PHP framework maintained by an active, big community
  • your passwords are safe: they're stored in database with multiple layers of encryption, so even for me, it's not possible to retrieve your passwords
  • if you lose your password anyway, you can request a new one by entering your email address on the login page and click the "Forgot Password" link

Public release should start on Jun 1st, until then (maybe I'll implement this today), I'll have an imprint with all information about the website owner (me) which is required on a website.
If you want, you can check the domain using any whois tool. The information you'll find there is mine - no anon service or anything that leaves a bad impression.

Please keep in mind that this project is still in development. You're welcome to explore it, anyway, but for the moment, the main focus is on the newsletter.
Questions? Welcome!

Best regards,
Thomas F. a.k.a. allyouracid

News from 2015-03-02:
Included visual representation of a coin's current "social value" into the charts. This way, you can always see how much a coin is being tweeted about on Twitter. For more information, see my recent post about the current development status.
Ten slots are still open for the beta phase. Please consider a registration at http://bitshit.shice.info/

2006  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam accusation against... Myself and my partner on: January 21, 2015, 03:57:57 PM
I find it very entertaining how my watch list of ponzi threads light up with replies from their "owner" pretty much the same time as the infamous williamj2543 is also online defending his twisted motives to squeeze yet more BTC out of the community
Im not running any sites right now. I was planning to do a charity one to raise funds for this.
You, sir, are delusional.

You made (or tried to make) money off of peoples backs, knowing that at the end someone will hold a bag. This is immoral, and the cute packaging of your story does not change this at all. And now, you're using euphemisms like "charity" to make the community pay because your scam didn't work out well for you? Come on, show some balls. Get a fucking job.
2007  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam accusation against... Myself and my partner on: January 21, 2015, 03:50:20 PM
the question is what kind of work could he do? anyone knows? he said he has a Black Jack script ready but didnt show it yet
I mainly do bitcoin gambling sites, I made a wheel script, dice script, coinflip script, and blackjack script but I have no vps to test this (blackjack script requires a VPS to run, my others one can have manually added balance as well).
I can do web development, or more custom gambling games.
…and you cannot do physical work because you're lacking hands or feet?
Just get your crap together, apply for a job at a local fastfood restaurant where you have a guarantee of being paid, work for a month or two and you're done. Are you a man or are you a child?
2008  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Scam accusation against... Myself and my partner on: January 21, 2015, 03:02:37 PM
I have decided that a good way to make this back honestly is to join a signature campaign, but I have been banned from them due to my negative trust.
How am I supposed to pay this back if I am not allowed due to my negative trust? It is a paradox. I can't make this money because I have negative trust, and I have negative trust BECAUSE I cannot make this money.
You are making it extremely hard for me in paying you back, there is honestly no reason I have to stay here and try to help.

How about honesty and doing the right thing? It's not going to be easy and you're going to have to work hard to recover the money but that's the price you pay. You can either try do the right thing or just walk away but you can't blame it on signature campaigns.
If he's stepping away from that "signature campaign" bollocks, it's not going to be hard. It's one month of work.
However, I have a hard time taking someone for serious who says he is willing to pay back scammed customers, but refuses to take his own money or to do actual work to pay them back.
2009  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: FREE NETFLIX ACCOUNTS! on: January 21, 2015, 02:48:24 PM
I guess they're US American accounts? Being from Germany, I'd need a proxy, right?
If your time allows for it, I'd be happy to have one. Just for testing purposes. Smiley
2010  Economy / Digital goods / Re: Automated Ponzi Script - BlockChain API - Fully Installed on: January 21, 2015, 12:34:34 PM
Does the Script programmed to take Regiatration or the Script may be automatic without Registration ??
And don't you think 0.25BTC may be a Little big Huh
Yeah, because coders don't need to eat, drink and feed their families. They can solely live from love, sunshine and fresh air.
Man, that's a little more than 50 bucks.
This attitude is so annoying.
2011  Economy / Digital goods / [WTS] Domain "fucking.money" for sale on: January 21, 2015, 12:25:38 PM
Hello community,

this is the very first time I'm offering something on BCT: I have preordered the domain "fucking.money".
I don't know if there is any interest in it, but as I don't have any use for it yet, I'm offering it here for sale. I have the opportunity to make this preorder legally binding until Jan 28th, and the preorder took place at http://united-domains.de/

If anyone is interested, just leave me a reply or contact me via private message. If there is no interest in the domain, I'll keep it and think about what content I can put on it. I'm sure it'll be something Bitcoin related. Cheesy

Escrow? Of course! I am new to selling things here, and others probably don't want to get screwed over as much as I don't want to.
I know some trustworthy members here, but I'm okay with the potential buyer chosing an escrow service - as long as it isn't a newbie account with -20 negative trust. Escrow should have proven to be reliable in the past and have done escrows, of course.

So, if anyone is interested… just go ahead. Questions are welcome. Smiley

A signature campaign? Wtf?

You seriously do not see any other way than joining a signature campaign to pay your investors back? I cannot believe it. It's the signature campaign's fault…?  Roll Eyes
If I ever owed someone money, or if I told my health insurance that they have to wait for their money because "I cannot join a signature campaign on bitcointalk right now" - how would they react?

Just take some 10% of your paycheck and pay back investors slowly. If you don't have a paycheck because you're unemployed, go to freakin Mc Donalds, work there for several weeks and you're done. They take everyone. The job is shitty, but if you're honest in your intentions, it'll do fine for that purpose.

But stop that "signature campaign" bullshit, please.
2013  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: [ANN] BitShit: charts and TA [update 2015/01/20: newsletter almost done] on: January 20, 2015, 09:40:54 AM
2015-10-20 - Updates

I have spent a lot of time with development in the recent weeks/months. There are some new features, the biggest of them is for sure the newsletter which I almost finished (see screenshot below).
If everything goes well, I will be starting a three months open beta on March 1st. I'm planning on 5-20 free slots for beta testers who are willing to receive the newsletter for free and test the features on the website. Users who are generally interested can reply in this thread and tell me - if not all slots are already full before the open beta starts, I will announce it here, again. Smiley

For now, you're invited to have a look at the newsletter image and see if it might be useful for you. I think the charts and tables should be pretty much self explanatory. Though if they aren't, you're welcome to ask me questions of whatever kind.

  • Lots of charts added for coins on Bittrex
  • implemented cryptoId.info's API to monitor coins/wallets for large movements

Newsletter (2015-01-10):

Best regards,
Thomas
2014  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hashie - first bitcoin scam of 2015 on: January 03, 2015, 06:22:43 PM
Does anyone know the corresponding hero level username affiliated with the Hashie account? They made a threat to me once after accusing me of using a sock puppet and mentioned they were a hero level user on the default trust, and would use that account to leave me a negative.

...PS: This is from a hero member. You're going to get default-trusted negatives if you try to bring any more sockpuppets into this thread.
I don't know what of this is true, but even if you were actually sockpuppeting (does this word even exist? ^^), such behavior ("be careful what you say because I have the power to destroy your reputation") is highly unprofessional for any kind of service.
That this hashie clown now moves on to bother his scammed customers with some annoying internet game, playing the victim instead of taking care of refundings just puts a crown on top of all this.

I really hate it that so many subversive objects use this great idea of crypto to enrich themselves, not giving a single shit about the idea, the concept they're misusing.
But I guess that's what we have to live with. Marauders are where the money is. Sad but true.
2015  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Hashie - first bitcoin scam of 2015 on: January 02, 2015, 09:16:48 PM
I've been on Hashie for about a month or two and here's what I saw happen. Basically, a few weeks ago I noticed all my referrals disappeared and I was credited with about 0.02 BTC in my account. I went to the chat and asked what happened, and Hashie (Official) said that they were adding a user as someone's referral via phpmysqladmin and accidentally moved ALL referrals under a single User.
This is actually quite an alarm bell. Sadly only for those who know a bit about web development and usual procedures which legit companies always implement:
- legit companies have a daily backup of their databases for exactly such cases
- legit companies have a high interest to put up a SQL query to retrieve and restore the "accidentally deleted" referrals from a backup to satisfy their customers

I am really thinking about opening and promoting a thread here on BCT which should help users identifying possible scams based on (technical) replies they got from the site/company in question. It's just impossible to expect every layman to know what replies/excuses are just utter bullshit, or at least arise a high suspicion that the site/company in question might be scam or at least not experienced enough to put up a web service.
Really, I had a lot of cases where I read replies which made my alarm bells ring. To give some examples: this one here, or the blocknet scam, or (an example of a totally inexperienced user who definitely should not set up an online crypto exchange): OpenEx.

People should have the opportunity to report sites to some voluntary web developers who are willing to take a look at the services or excuses/replies from those services. Maybe this can help make crypto a better place and prevent one or another loss, if possible.

I know this reply will vanish with time, but if anyone lacks technical knowledge and could use some help to check if they're being bullshitted by a service: drop me a PM and I'll help where I can.

At least, finally, you are almost correct about something. Almost correct, because not only Bobby, but all participants of the scam will be spending time in jail - including your David and Stevie, even Lin of Bter.

(Actually Bob is in the best position to make a deal with the police, since all information and facts about the scam was volunteered by Bob).
You don't really think anyone goes to jail for this, do you?
Although it would be somewhat funny, they'll probably get a money fine at maximum.

Btw, Bobo, if you're still reading here: what did you say you have? 1kk in land, 400k in cars, and some 10k bucks in gold? That's it?
1kk brings you an ordinary house, here. And I have never seen any of my neighbors bragging that much about their houses, lol.

It sounds a bit like ARCH (the other one of the few legit Altcoins out there): for a certain amount of coins, you get exclusive access to valuable information. I like the concept, would be great to hear a bit more about that!

A fresh wind, blowing away all those coins which are generated to promise (and not keep) features to scoop people's hard earned money off of them. Time for a change.

Been with them since late Sept. and I can confirm all the GOOD comments here related to the group are 100% true, no B.S. - say what you will about P&D, etc. etc. but really the group is more than that.  The fee is now peanuts (for me) compared to before as I've made excellent BTC from working with Bob & crew, not to mention learned a hell of a lot more about this crazy crypto/alts world.  I'm sure it's been said but had I found Bob from the start...wow I'd be in an even far better position than I am now.
Just as a - more or less - rhethirocal question: whee does all that money come from that you all make?

From the membership fees?
Stupid me. And I thought it was from the bagholders. ^^

garbage
If you'd first take a shower and THEN look into the mirror, your judgement would probably have been a better one.

Btw, the coin is performing pretty good on c-cex.com - hope to see it on Bittrex, soon! Smiley
