2001  Economy / Gambling / Re: BSpin.io | Bitcoin Casino | Instant deposits | Slots, Games and Lottery on: September 13, 2019, 04:43:35 PM
Guys, seriously, wtf?! The minimum withdrawal limit is not in place anymore for participants of this signature campaign - hhampuz spoke to the operator and it was fixed.

Now, I feel pity for him that he didn't even knew that his concerns have already been settled by the campaign manager. I believe that people here can become too much sensitive sometimes when it comes to the circulation of money and what stops it. I believe he (YOSHIE) should have gone to Hhampuz and asked him about his concerns instead of painting them here if he's actually concerned about it. But still, I've seen many gamblers (not taking those signature guys into consideration) losing a lot more than what is described as minimum withdrawal amount at bspin (seriously, I'm not taking anybody's side but just my opinion) and nobody complained as to why they lost those amounts even after going rekt on those casinos. However, I'd still urge bspin to consider lowering this minimum withdrawal amount a bit as it's costing them a lot of potential customers (gamblers) who are interested to play but fear the possibilities of waiting longer till they reach that minimum to get the funds.
2002  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Probable Precautions using Electrum on: September 13, 2019, 04:28:54 PM
Why the Punycode attack is not listed or mention above?

This is one of the Electrum attacks before even you see the legit URL which is electrum.org we cant see if the site is fake or not but if you copy and paste the URL to notepad it will show the true URL.

I know you can disable Punycode in firefox but I don't know how for chrome.

For safety better use firefox instead and disable punnycode get more info from this post here https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5178198.0

Thanks for this, I never knew they could do this too. I guess Chrome doesn't have a security patch available yet after reading this article: https://superuser.com/questions/1421982/how-can-i-test-punycode-url-will-display-correctly-prior-to-purchase

So yeah, in those terms, I believe Firefox is good. What about other browsers? Are punycode attacks limited to these 2 browsers only? What about Tor browser? I didn't find anything related to this for Tor.
2003  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best online wallet for privacy on: September 13, 2019, 12:08:43 PM
People with little crypto experience do not understand that online wallets have no privacy. But in turn, different online wallets make good advertising to attract users. I think it is a reason why so many people ask for advice on which wallet to choose

It's not like none of the online wallets have no security, but a few ones are good. And I don't remember where I said this, but it's your awareness and IQ based on which you get scammed or not (except for cases where any hacks take place). But you can also save yourselves from any hacks or malware with a little more "awareness" I talked about. Like for eg.; my experience with Electrum had been the best and will always be because I know whom should I trust here - their official website. There were issues with their wallet with version 3.3.3 or older that when I opened the wallet once, it asked me to download the latest update but it was a malicious attack. It was my choice to close the wallet immediately and not follow the given instructions in that pop up. After that, I just visited the official website, saw the header that said that versions older than 3.3.4 are vulnerable to phishing attacks. You really need to work with awakened eyes here if you're serious about your money. @OP, I guess you got your answer from my end - Electrum.
2004  Economy / Gambling / Re: BSpin.io | Bitcoin Casino | Instant deposits | Slots, Games and Lottery on: September 13, 2019, 11:59:24 AM
considering the fact that there is no fee attached to withdrawals.
What I mean is about signature income, with a minimum withdrawal capacity of 0.005 BTC.
Note:
This is not related to gamers / gambling on the site (Bspin).

Reason:
There were several cases of members who participated in sig Bspin, within one week, but these members were banned in this forum.
For this reason, I personally propose the minimum withdrawal is lowered.
Unfortunately, for those who participated for one week so that the funds could not be taken, because the person concerned was already banned.
Although it can be taken, the person must deposit more deposits to meet 0.005 BTC

Example:
the case i mean:

Link: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5183837.0

This is just my opinion, the decision is on the management (Bspin).

Ok, I never knew you were concerned about the signature campaign earnings. About the case, they were probably banned due to plagiarism or ban evasion as mentioned in the respective threads and I don't think they should be treated with any leniency here considering any of the deeds committed by them and the amounts that remains after their ban (considering they got paid some %), they should deposit and withdraw the rest because I believe you are not bound to play but you can withdraw immediately even after depositing there.

0.005btc can be small amount for some gamblers but it can be a big amount for other gamblers. 0.005btc as the minimum withdrawal can be considered as a high minimum withdrawal compared to other bitcoin casino sites. It is not competitive for for their business, so if they have no plans to reduce it then I can say that it can be a big disadvantage for their own business. There are many other sites with no withdrawal fees but they have lower minimum withdrawal.

If that's the case, why not such gamblers who've got problems with this, come ahead united and ask for a minimum withdrawal amount reduction? I'm not against your concerns but people should raise their voice so to make the project owners know that they are not happy with what's being provided.
2005  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 10 Useful Browser Extensions or Plugins that benefits Crypto Users on: September 13, 2019, 06:17:50 AM
Even our safest browsers like Tor, Firefox, Chrome with integrated security help us to fight with some malicious websites by giving the exact type of warnings like MetaMask gives you but it is all limited to a set of specific conditions like when the website looks malicious and does not have SSL-secured environment available as well as the certificate validation. I believe MetaMask is actually much more trustworthy in these cases but believe me, whether or not you trust these things or decide to stay away, it's you in the end who will be responsible to take actions and your actions will decide your destiny in crypto.

Like for eg.; if MetaMask or even the browser itself stops you from visiting a malicious website (which may install something in your PC without your permission or start auto-mining) but you believe that you will be safe and you want to visit it and you use the "Advanced" feature and permit the browser to release the website and let you go there, then it's not any extension or browser's fault but yours because it was your decision. Take very wise decisions when it comes to using/ storing crypto anywhere. Be safe.

-snip-
I don't think this should be a problem considering many players play with some good amount of coins and not to forget that there is no withdrawal fee at the moment. I asked them personally via PM if they've got any plans to reduce the fee, but their response was "no, they are not planning any such thing for now".
Uhh, the "fee" or the "minimum withdrawal" amount?
Looks like you meant to say the minimum withdrawal since it's YOSHIE's main suggestion
but you accidentally typed fee because of the previous sentence's "fee" Tongue

Hey, sorry about that.
I mixed the withdrawal part with the fee, maybe I was in a hurry trying to cross the roads while typing this and committed such a stupid mistake. Grin
I actually meant that they were not intended to be reducing their minimum withdrawal amount and will be keeping it fixed at BTC0.005 for the time being, considering the fact that there is no fee attached to withdrawals.

I think 5,000,00 µ ฿ is too long to wait.
I hope this is considered. Thanks.

Isn't 5000.00 µ฿ BTC0.005 if I'm correct?

2008  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Autofill - extension that will simplify your hunting on: September 12, 2019, 01:50:02 PM
Modern smartphones prevent applications from interacting with each other and each other’s data. When permission is granted for example to allow an app to access and write to ‘photos’ this access is limited to the specific directory the photos are stored in, and there are safeguards that prevent a malicious app from doing something that apple or google (depending on the OP you are using) doesn’t want the app doing.

Ok, I've got a question here again:

What IF:
- Let's say for eg.; I give Google Photos the permission to receive all my images in my smartphone (and I don't believe it's limited to a specific folder but all the images in my smartphone). Does Google save all the images in its Drive feature and shows through photos? Will my privkeys also be on stake if I use Google drive if I've saved my privkeys in Json format and it gets exposed to Drive which, if hacked, can be in the hands of that hacker with all other data that's saved there?
2009  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What are Merits to you? on: September 10, 2019, 03:24:35 PM
--snip--

I could have done that TL;DR thing just the way I snipped your complete post, but you know something? Your posts are darling to me, you're what you are and I love the way you describe things here. And yeah, I never ever meant that like kinda thing for you guys such as LoyceV and you, you guys are the example of what needs to be done and what exactly should be merited, how the standards are set, how the efforts are made and last but not the least, a challenge to yourself that you are only your best friend and your worst enemy too. I've seen many good posts being merited too but those misusing their merit power by giving it to people who just abused in that post or there was nothing but insult there and some more specific things that I didn't like, I believe those merited posts should be considered to come under the category of this like thing because it was their (merit sender's) like or choice to give it to such people for the ugly behavior.

Your achievements are priceless and the cost it takes to become the next DdmrDdmr is beyond hard work, extra efforts to know more and more as well as over efficiency to do what's in your mind (here: post).
2010  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: A block containing only 2 transactions on: September 10, 2019, 02:52:03 PM
If you think it's impossible to have such a block these days, check block number 594153 which mined a few minutes ago.
Here the number of transaction included is not 2. The number is 1. Only one transaction which is generating new coins.
https://www.blockchain.com/btc/block/0000000000000000000fec146fe9cea2309e368036fd193731c4e1faf5838272
The transaction has been mined only 24 seconds after the previous one.

shhh stop revealing real evidence that pools dont care about fee's..

They don't care? Uummm aaaa I don't think so. I mean why do you think they don't? Even if the block is empty with just newly generated coins being sent to the pool owner, I believe that maybe their set transaction fee limits could not have been met? Correct me if wrong.
Doesn't this look as an attack towards us who use BTC, to spend more on fees to get involved in those blocks? Can this inflate the fees if all miners unite and commit the same?
2011  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: 10 Useful Browser Extensions or Plugins that benefits Crypto Users on: September 10, 2019, 02:33:50 PM
While you're speaking about extensions here, I believe there's nothing that can be called as safe and secure when it comes to being useful in case of using and hodling crypto. You should be very careful while using such extensions because some of them need specific permissions and that could also lead to many malicious effects to your coins. Some extensions come with viruses that could lead to data loss where even your privkeys can be compromised. Don't use these things in a PC you generally us to store your coins in.
2012  Economy / Gambling / Re: BSpin.io | Bitcoin Casino | Instant deposits | Slots, Games and Lottery on: September 10, 2019, 02:02:18 PM
I have made a few deposits .035-.04 btc in total and i'm not impressed by the site at all. 90% of the games are unavailable in my area,
.......
strange  . you already access and deposit on thier site but some games are only country based ? how is that possible ? whats wrong with those games  ?  if they really restrict some countries then they should have restrict the access on the site and not just on the game so that gamblers arent going to waste time and fees whenever they already deposited accidentally .

its my first time to see a gambling site like this that have a game restriction  . better if the owner fix the issue or else they will run out of gamblers  .

Probably the games are the ones from GameArt provider. Some of games are indeed not playable for players on some countries. If yahoo is referring to the games from GameArt then it is normal because anyone from the restricted countries by GameArt wont be to play the game no matter in what sites they are trying to play. I'm not really sure with other providers but the only experience I have on playing 3rd party game is that GameArt has some countries restriction on some of their games.

True, GameArt is selling their services and can do whatever they wish to and bspin should have made this thing clear that there would be restrictions in some parts because GameArt is a service provider whose services are being used by bspin as a vendee here while giving the joy of those games to us, but they should have made it clear in OP itself that the gaming provider has some restricted countries where the games will not be played, it's not the responsibility of GameArt but bspin.
2013  Other / Beginners & Help / What are Merits to you? on: September 10, 2019, 01:34:04 PM
IMHO, Merits to me are clearly nothing, yeah nothing. With that said, it is but something of an important value to me till I saw something and so, I stopped thinking a lot about the same. Again for me, Merits are nothing but a token, a reward that you get when your post is liked by someone on the basis of some part of humor and some part of your knowledge that you present in that post.

Merits are rewards for your brilliance.

To me, it is also a responsibility of a user to get the cycle go on by circulating them continuously while giving / sharing them with the most hilarious and humorous people around.

Merits bring responsibility with that reward to circulate and spread them amongst the best.

Now, why I don't like it and don't think of it too much, anymore!

The reason this Merits thing has become tragic for me is due to the fact that I've seen too many people getting merited for using slangs like (Fuck your mother, fuck you, fuck this, fuck that) kinda bullshit and many more shit that you can't even imagine that "Hey, did this post deserve a merit?" So, after seeing that the system made by theymos is good but people are misusing it in their own way, I stopped caring a lot about this thing. Obviously everyone have their own choices to give it to anyone for anything including all this shit, but then, I don't believe Merits to be a measurement to judge anybody's character, quality of posts or their behavior (like I said, it's kinda "LIKE" feature button for me).

Merits in today's time cannot be used to measure anyone's posting quality but just limited to being used as LIKES.
2014  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Autofill - extension that will simplify your hunting on: September 06, 2019, 10:08:28 PM
--snip--

I disagree, smartphone these days generally more secure than desktop because sandboxing feature where an application can't access system, other application or user's files without user's permission.

Most of those hacks usually happen because outdated OS or user simply allow all permission request.

Trust me, when I said that, I knew it was all about permitting requests but many apps won't work without those permissions being given to them (or at least won't work properly. For eg.; Camera app needs your storage permission to view files and show them to you as well as store newly clicked images in your system only after permitted. This includes all the attributes set here for it to perform all these tasks - Read, Write and Execute. By saying outdated OS, do you point it towards the older versions of Android or anything similar? You meant that Android is also vulnerable to bugs which can help hackers steal our data just because it is old? For latest versions of Android nowadays, we need to spend at least $200 - 300  and more to get them in a smartphone. We don't need sandboxing because at the end of the day, you're sure to give those permissions to an application that needs it to do its job better.

This is your best place to get continuous alerts from a service that provides more than just what you need.
2016  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Fake satoshi :) on: September 06, 2019, 09:17:32 PM
I don't get it why many people claims to be satoshi. I mean are they thinking it would benefit them financially? Because of bitcoin's value today, satoshi would always be in danger if he show who he really is. I really doubt he would come out to the public.

As I said before, this thing could revert back to them in a negative way as well. The way Wright was ordered to give 50% of his stake in BTC that he holds, to Kleiman for the fact that Kleiman was totally involved with his true soul in the making of the future of payments - BTC. Satoshi is one and he will never be found nor his Bitcoins, accept the truth and move on (until someone really shows up with a signed message from the privkey/s of Satoshi which won't happen ever). I'm scared about those entities already claimed to be Satoshi because the way Wright was treated, I believe Satoshi would love to work under the hood serving his project and people with much better innovations like Bitcoins. I think he should make something that can help to actually decentralize BTC and bring something like anti-quantum for BTC to be prevented from possible future attacks.
2017  Economy / Economics / Re: Indian Economy rising at slowest pace - Should they consider Crypto-currency? on: September 05, 2019, 11:43:15 PM
Frankly speaking, we guys are somewhat happier till any rules and regulations are announced in regards to crypto. The three things you spoke about, i.e.;

Trading - is already being done at a very high pace and I guess we (Indians) come in the top 10 traders amongst the list of all those countries where crypto is frequently traded.

Gambling - though being illegal in some parts of India, we're still enjoying this part because of crypto due to the fact that it's all pseudonymous and we can't really be traced that easy as well as we've got various genres of gambling unlocked due to crypto. The only issue we face is about settling it all into fiat and we're good.

Exchanging of products and services - is also being done with full-fledged security of crypto here (not physical but virtual products ATM) as well as services like VPN and domain names available through Indian hosting websites at cheaper rates than what we used to give in fiat. We can also purchase Gift cards of different websites through crypto with cool discounts which gives us more confidence in using cryptocurrencies.

I don't have any issue if the Gov comes ahead with some positivity on crypto, but I believe they're too old to understand what is all this about. For them, crypto is just one thing and that's "PONZI SCHEME".
2018  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Antiviruses on: September 05, 2019, 11:22:24 PM
I thought of this before that I don't need an anti virus as long as I don't click any suspicious link sent to my email or in the forums that I visit or use a flash drive that I don't own but sometimes we get careless that's why I believe in the saying to better have it and you don't need it, than don;t have it and you need it, and besides its just a few space in your hard drive. Just a downside of having an AV, it slows down my pc a little bit.

Slows down, but probably protects you from almost all types of up-to-date viruses that can harm your data and not just crypto either due to your mistake or by some hacker who tries to steal everything by sending continuous attacks to your PC even when you put your AV at switched off mode. And what space are these guys even talking about? It isn't really that big in size (depends on different types of AVs but still NOT THAT BIG, at least not that huge of how much blockchain captures your hard disk space) and all it has in it is the database of all types of updated viruses to save your back from being raped off. Maybe Carlton had some issues in the past or experienced something bad in the present?
2019  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Autofill - extension that will simplify your hunting on: September 05, 2019, 10:39:25 AM
Additionally, don't use computers in which crypto currencies stored to install and use extensions from third-parties.

If people don't use cold storage, computers in which they store crypto wallets should be used only for wallet upgrades (from official websites). Keeping those special computers as safely as possible will keep their crypto safely from threats. Only opening those computers to download wallet upgrades, and installing new versions of wallets. Then, when upgrades finished, shut down computers to avoid distractive interests (like web surfing, and others unsafe things).

We shouldn't use even smartphones if you ask me because it's one of the most vulnerable things to malicious viruses in general and most people don't even have anything like AV installed in their smartphones because either they are not aware or they are too over-smart. Most of the hacks nowadays take place through these Android applications and if such extension is installed in your chrome browser and you've allowed some permissions to your browser, I guess your coins are at stake because this extension will have some sort of code or patch injected in it that'll come with it after installation and it'll fetch all the data from your mobile and send it to hacker. So not only are your coins and privkeys, but your data also isn't so safe if you blindly download anything.

If you're real and ready to conduct a Satoshi test instead of asking for MT 103/72 blocked funds test, I would like you to contact my friend D Man over telegram @lovenatashas as he is one of the most trustworthy people who don't really need any introduction in the field of crypto. He can help you sell your stake without any hassles and may also get involved into it as an escrow if you want to do it likewise.
