2021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: New coins bring a lot of big profits on: June 11, 2022, 09:19:29 PM
What are your goals when investing in new coins? Did you get a huge profit from the new coins? Can you recommend a new coin worth investing besides LUNA?
New projects most likely end up in scams so they don't make you profitable at all, but only gives you a lot of headaches. The reason why it's best to stay away from those new and hype projects as they are not secured and won't never survive in the market for long. Focus on bitcoin and some old but established altcoins as they have proven their worth and are consistent in making us profitable.
2022  Economy / Economics / Re: A decision to make on: June 11, 2022, 08:49:23 PM
Would you rather buy a house to live in or rent an apartment to invest in bitcoin  Since bitcoin is experiencing bear what decision will you take make use of the season or let it pass.
Regardless of how bitcoin is in bearish or bullish, i think its more important to buy a house first for my family's permanent shelter and then consider investing only once i earned extra money intended just for investment. Though we have different decisions to prefer, but most likely if you have a family, you should consider their security first before you decide on your own. I guess investing can wait, and you can only maximize it if your mind is focused and determined to reach your goal.

Here in Phoenix vs Meralco, Phoenix was up as much as 16 points but Meralco comes back and sealed a win.

With this situation recently, it's tempting to bet on a live bet on a team that is behind a big lead. What do you think?

You can always find an opportunity to do live bet, PBA is more predictable compared to the NBA so that gives us a great opportunity when a team is down as the odds are very high. just imagine the odds of Meralco to win by 11+ when they are down a double digit, for sure that is more than 10.00x.
2024  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 (September 17) on: June 11, 2022, 06:32:12 PM
Maybe it was because can see his punch as it is slow, or Bivol is too good for Canelo at Light Heavyweight. But when him and GGG fight it will be in his sweet zone of 168 lbs so perhaps Canelo will be quick and have that crisp in his shot. But like the rest of you guys, we like the chances of GGG, I think he can still fight even at his age and it could still be a war like in the first 2 fights. Both give each other hell, but they have a granite chin so no one was knock out or knock down. And this could hold true in the trilogy and it will go on the judges scorecard.

If it goes down to the scorecard, then Canelo is definitely going to win.  Grin

Canelo for sure will be under a lot of pressure. Already he is being blamed for delaying the trilogy fight and on top of that he is still recovering from his upset loss to Dmitry Bivol. I watched the highlights of the match. Canelo started well and Bivol was on the defensive for the first few rounds. But probably Canelo tried too hard too early and after a few rounds, it looked as if he was tired. All the three judges had exactly the same scoring for all the 12 rounds. Canelo won the first four rounds, while Bivol won 7 out of the next 8 rounds.

No doubt but I think GGG can survive the whole 12 rounds without getting knocked out but Canelo will have the upper hand when it comes to the judge's hand.

Hopefully he will somehow give this fight a good one to see because people and fans still wanted to see this trilogy not because they're interested how would the fight go but because this might be GGG's last fight before he decides to hang up his gloves as he is already 40 years old. I'm not underestimating GGG here, I just want him to retire as he is much older already and he's in the hall of fame and won't be forgotten through time. Continuing to dance in this industry will eventually make him look bad as the upcoming champions will look for his name to include him in their rapsheet.
2025  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: June 11, 2022, 06:11:00 PM
I agree, Crawford is still in his prime at age of 34 and will turn 35 this September. He can still be lethal in the ring and Spence definitely knew that. Crawford managed to close the fight against Porter in just 10 rounds with referee stoppage while Spence ended the fight with full 12 rounds and won by a split decision.

Age shouldn't be a factor between Terence Crawford and Errol Spence. It's not that we are talking about a 10 years age gap here.

Both boxers are still fierce at this age although at some analyst, Crawford seems to slow down after seeing his last fight.

Regardless, Crawford is really eyeing to face Spence for a long time. That excitement and interest for long will lead to awaken his usual fierce as Spence is one of his target to beat. It's like he will be more pumped to face Errol Spence as beating this guy will make him the undisputed champion in the Welterweight division.

Age won't be a factor in this fight and as you said, their gap it's not that far as their gap is only 2 years and that's not a big deal. Crawford can still make a good fight. Although I could say that Crawford should've got a fight a few months ago to get him warmed up before their fight against Spence, Crawford fought Porter last year and he's been inactive for almost a year now. Anyway, that's just my opinion but I'm excited in this fight as both are undefeated and will fight for their belt to be the undisputed champion in the Welterweight division.
2026  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you educate petty traders in adopting Bitcoin? on: June 11, 2022, 04:16:31 PM
I see some people confused about what Op meant as petty traders in this context. But if you read Op carefully, the meaning of petty traders is explained in Op.
Petty traders in the context are the street marker retailers who sell directly to end producers. They gather in local markets and streets.

Well, if you wish to educate the petty traders about Bitcoin, you can go do it individually or organise a market public lecture to educate them.
But I will strongly advice that you shouldn't teach them to adopt it in their business. Many of them don't even balance their accounts and they are always confused with finance, especially the aged ones. Don't bother to increase their problems. You can teach them about Bitcoin and they will decide whether or not to involve it in their business when they must have gotten the full understanding of bitcoin.
That's exactly the point. It's never a hard thing if you wish to educate these market retailers and street vendors by giving them a lecture about bitcoin. But never expect that they will eventually follow what you say. They have their own business that needs more attention and that they are making daily profits from it once their products are sold out. However, bitcoin is also profitable in its own way but  these petty traders will find it hard to adopt it because they might perceive it the wrong way which will only cause more troubles on their part. So better ignore them because that's how they are comfortable of making money.
2027  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022 NBA Season - Finals on: June 11, 2022, 04:06:02 PM
I see Kobe on him and he really improve thru this season. Their duo together with brown really improve Celtics and their actions not to trade their young cores is really give them good result today and for sure they have huge chance to take this season out on GSW and the game 4 will be another exciting chapter to see. But also knowing Warriors they became more better team once they are defeated and it just Wiggins and Klay is not consistent today and Curry only make them alive this game maybe in next game they are in full revenge mode that's why we can provably see more exciting head to head match between Celtics.
You too?  Wink
He is not that far anymore, as I said in my previous posts, this kid just needs to stay confident with his game. Sometimes, he loses it and that's why the team is being dragged by it. Thankfully, many players on the Celtics team know how to step up their game and the leadership of Marcus Smart might have something to contribute to that.
Even though he had a bad Game 1 and 2 on the offensive side, he might get that MVP if the Celtics will be able to snatch this from the former champions. Because he didn't stop at just scoring, he did assists and rebounds to help.

I guess we have been praising him and even compare him to Kobe in this thread so I'm not surprised. And yes, it will be an accomplishment for him at this young age to win the NBA trophy and then the Finals MVP. He has improved in defense as well. He lock down Durant in the first round, we haven't seen Durant having difficulty to execute his jump shots and Tatum was part of that big defensive plays and swept the Nets.

Why not? Jayson Tatum deserved to be praised because of his improvements and the way he played since the playoffs has begun until the whole Celtics squad reached the Finals. Although it's not him who had the most work that's why they achieved the position they are now on but he's been so vital in the team's success no matter if it's offense or defense, he can be reliable. At 24, he can be the Finals MVP too though Jaylen Brown is also very compitent to get that said title.
2028  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: June 11, 2022, 01:38:20 PM
It's still something to be proud of that you've gone that far although, personally it's hard to accept that he has lost to him twice.

The fight was not even close, just accept it, maybe we are just too biased because we support our Donaire to win, but if you look at the betting odds, you can easily figure out that Donaire's chance of winning is very slim. He did his best but Inoue is just too much for him, no excuses for him.
2029  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: June 11, 2022, 01:17:51 PM

For the love of the game, Stephen Curry has rested well for this opportunity, and I surely enjoyed it while he is playing on the court doing those sick moves and deep 3 pointers, was really incredible, ànd yes from narrowing the lead of the Celtics then gaining momentum in leading and the Golden State Warriors have taken the advantage because Stephen Curry become unstoppable inside the court,

I don't know his average in the NBA Finals, but I think it's 30+ points, having that kind of average, it's very obvious that the defense of the Celtics is not good enough to limit his output. Wow, his 3-point shooting was really fun to watch, he wasn't hesitating and he had a great shooting night.

Yes, and that's what makes Curry once of the deadliest because he is fun to watch and doesn't matter who is in front of him. And he knows how to used that pick. There are at least 2 instances that I see the ref not calling a foul against Curry when shooting those bombs and you can see his frustrations.

Shift of momentum and odds now in favor for the Warriors to win game 5 at home?

They are favored to win in game 5, -3.5 now and I think if they'll win they can cover that spread.

However, we cannot underestimate the Celtics because they are also good even on the road, and they beat the Warriors twice already.
Adjustment will be made in game 5, let's see what kind of adjustment Celtics will make, hopefully Curry is still hot with his shooting.
2030  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: June 11, 2022, 12:40:07 PM
Anyone here betting on the 2nd game?

It's Meralco vs Phoenix, I bet after the 1st half and my bet is for the Phoenix to win.
I'm not watching this game now, I am just betting for fun, if my bet is lucky then I will win a decent amount.  Smiley

I'm gonna use this winning for the Warriors to win in game 5.  Smiley
2031  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA Finals 2022 - Warriors vs Celtics. on: June 11, 2022, 12:14:47 PM

Poole and Thompson did contribute a lot in this game. Wiggins has 2 very important offensive rebounds for a put back. Even Looney has one lay up in the 4th quarter. But we can't deny that it was Steph will carry the Warriors in his back. And he made White pay but not playing good defense on him with those outside shots. Although in his interview after the game, he praises his team, just a humble guy and doesn't take everything for himself.

The change of starting line up is good, I think they did a great job on starting Porter Jr. although he played only limited minutes. Payton II   only played less than 10 minutes and I think Warriors are more focus on the defense to match the size advantage of the Celtics.

Curry was huge in the last minute, his shooting was very flawless.

Curry finished with a 7-14 shooting in the 3 point line, it's pretty much a high percentage.
2032  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Your NBA Champion this season? on: June 11, 2022, 11:54:12 AM
Curry is closer to the finals MVP
I've read an article that consists of Brown, Tatum, Curry, Thompson, and Smart for the contenders of the finals MVP.
Article: NBA Finals MVP Ladder: Jaylen Brown passes Stephen Curry for No. 1
And this article said that it's Brown on the no. 1 while Curry is on the no. 2. I think if The Warriors will get the ring, it's for sure that Curry will get the finals MVP whilst for the Celtics, I thought that it's Tatum who's leading.

I didn't read the article, but probably it was written before this game, wherein the Celtics is on top and we haven't seen Curry his 40+ points in game 4. And If they win the championship, the trophy will go to him. And if the Celtics win, then it's going to be a toss up between Tatum and Brown.

But it's not over yet, but I guess we can smell that maybe, just maybe the Warriors will have the edge going at home for game 5.

If Warriors wins game 5, that will give the Warriors a good advantage as they were able to win on the road already. I like their chances, they played better at home and Curry is still unstoppable, that 40+ points gave him more confidence that him alone can beat the Celtics.

Tatum and Brown had a decent performance also and the entire roster actually are contributing, it's just that Curry were going for a win.
2033  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Crypto scam increasing on social media on: June 09, 2022, 09:43:20 PM
New analysis finds consumers reported losing more than $1 billion in #cryptocurrency to scams since 2021
Social media blamed for $1B in crypto scam losses in 2021

What has the government doing so far to regulate social media like they are regulating exchanges, despite that people that are using social media like Facebook, Instagram and many others do not have privacy, scammers and illicit actors still make use of the same social media to scam people. From just 2021 to 2022 first quarter, people have been scammed over $1 billion on social media. Federal Trade Commission (FCT) found that Instagram (32%), Facebook (26%), Whatsapp (9%), and Telegram (7%) were the top platforms used for crypto scams. Twitter, the social media platform widely adopted by the crypto-community, was not mentioned despite being littered with spam and scam bots touting fake crypto-giveaways.

The funniest to me is that scam is not new on social media, but it is becoming commoner and the scam on social media regard crypto is increasing, definitely all other scam are increasing on social media. When social media is not a place of privacy, why not require for ID documents for better KYC procedure than focusing most only on exchanges

This is the reality nowadays. Scamming has become more rampant in the social media because the people also allow it too. Even if there are still some red flags, people still chose to be convinced or lets' say being lured by the great scammers maybe because some are less educated about it or they just think that it's impossible for them to get scammed. Yet in the end, they only believe that they have been scammed once they lose their money and have no traces where to get it back.
2034  Economy / Speculation / Re: It goes same way people never learn btc 30k on: June 09, 2022, 08:01:30 PM
People never learn now those whos scared to buy btc will be ONes who buy btc when btc 50-60k.
Its now dip but people always scared of dips and they prefer to buy from top not from lows.
30k is most scared price range many hope it goes lower but instutions data shows very small possibility tht btc ever can go much lower .

I would love to see bitcoin price dropping, the reason why i settle on my own predictions and not on other's market views. That way, we can accumulate more bitcoin and increase the chance of making good profits when bitcoin starts to move up and hits its new ATH. However, not all are eager to see more price drops for bitcoin because they think that it would create more losses on their part, the reality is they will only lose if they start panic selling and chose to sell their coins in a much lower price.
2035  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which crypto will going to explore after this bearish market ends? on: June 09, 2022, 07:26:38 PM
Which cryptocurrency is the best to invest in right now and will explode following the bear market?
Definitely not altcoins but bitcoin. It creates more opportunities than other crypto coins and it has proven its worth more than a decade so we should focus more on bitcoin than any other new altcoins. However, despite of being bitcoin as the most prominent in the crypto market, we cannot assure when will its price moves up and lead to a new ATH. All we can do is just to patiently wait and just trust that bitcoin won't fall deeply this time.
2036  Economy / Speculation / Re: Would you be willing to support anyone who gives the most accurate predictions? on: June 09, 2022, 07:02:00 PM
Would you be willing to support anyone who gives the most accurate forecast of Bitcoin/crypto price?

I mean If you find someone who could make you rich by accurately predicting the price of crypto for you and others to benefit from, will you support such person either by sharing part of your profits from your successful trades with him/her, or in other ways... Will you agree if you are asked to support him/her?
If yes, then be prepared to support him as Bitcoin gradually moves to 50,000 from now onwards, but if you don't support or your answer is no, Bitcoin/crypto could remain stagnant below 40,000.

Are you ready?
Current Bitcoin price 30,000

First of all, i don't think anyone can predict correctly about the crypto price movement. It will always be unpredictable no matter what. So i don't see myself supporting an individual and even share my profits with him.

Bitcoin will gradually reach $50k with or without those pretending people. We just have to wait for it and trust the process.
2037  Economy / Economics / Re: Food crisis coming? What's wrong about it? It could be good on: June 09, 2022, 06:39:31 PM
I've read a few articles explaining that a food crisis is coming, I want to tell you something about it. There will be no food crisis for me.
Price of pasta, price of cooking oil, rice or meat will increase 20%? 30%?

That's all right. I don't care much. I can handle it, just like most people in developed countries. We don't spend much on food, increasing that budget by a third is perfectly fine.

The problem will be with the poor countries, but I wonder: is it a problem, or a solution?

There were 100 millions people living in Africa in 1900. Now, there are over 1,500 millions people there. I know that some people live a in a fantasy world thinking that there will be food, jobs, modern housing and all creature comforts for every human, but that won't happen. We live in a finite world, and the population just cannot grow without limit. Number one rule of the world has always been the survival of the fittest...
Definitely, it's a problem for most of us. And it's a lot harder because not only the food prices have been increasing, even for gas or petrol its price moves up too fast. Most of our basic necessities are no longer cheap anymore so it does not only affect the poor ones, but even the higher class in the society.  It might be a lot better if also the minimum wage salary has increased, but i don't see its happening now. We are facing a lot of crisis right now, and i don't think this high inflation will be gone in just a year or two, or it could be staying for good maybe.
2038  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel when the market is downtrend? on: June 09, 2022, 12:04:29 PM
How do you feel when the bear market is happening and do you hate it?. Every time a bearmarket happens, I always have valuable lessons that the bull market doesn't have. So always be grateful when the market goes down, it gives us many lessons, lessons about emotions, lessons about capital management, trust and patience.

The bear market is not the end but the beginning of a new and better start, the bear market is a measure of our confidence in the market. Worthy rewards will only come to those who truly believe in the market.
Some would think it as a threat to their investments but i never see it that way. The bear market always brings us a great start as it opens a lot of opportunities to those who are greedy and fearless to take the risks. Though i believe others feel disappointed seeing their portfolio not profiting, but i think its one thing that people should accept that crypto prices do not stay on top but it also moves downtrend or even sideways.
2039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Why Depression Starts in Cryptocurrency Anytime on: June 08, 2022, 09:50:31 PM
Why Depression Starts in Cryptocurrency Anytime. some time gain profit some time loss.i feel any time depression.
Because you always tend to think that crypto is more on easy gains than hard losses. And that's not how crypto works. Sometimes, there will be even more losses than gains especially if you cannot respond correctly to what the market situation needs you to do. However, there's no reason to keep you feeling like that since you alone is the manager of all your investments. Whatever you gives in to the market will greatly affect on how you will feel towards yourself. So never do things that would make you hurt yourself more.
2040  Economy / Speculation / Re: Don’t rush to buy Bitcoin on: June 08, 2022, 09:13:05 PM

This should be the case when you are investing, if you could invest and make a ton of money without even breaking ATH then it could be the key here and it could benefit you. Look at the support lines and the resistance lines, they are clearly wildly different because support is close but resistance is nowhere to be found, that's great deal right now.
We can't still find assurance making a huge profit this time, not even to make easy gain after buying. Holding is really the thing we do, for now, quite it tests our patience again. But if we are a long-term holder, this is not a problem, I am just doubtful how these weak hands manage this.

Buying this time is still an option, I don't encourage people to do it unless they know how to hold it.
There's really no problem if you have manage to store a lot of funds just to buy bitcoin when its price is dipping. But make sure you will be holding your patience for long as there may be chances that bitcoin price could drop more which i think the best time to buy. Some have waited for that before they start buying while others have been buying already when the market starts to dip. But as long as you are for long term hodling, even if bitcoin price continues to drop, you won't be bothered anymore.
