2021  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Dont you think that crypto market is still overvalued? on: June 03, 2018, 06:21:19 PM
btc is not over valued

most icos have huge fake caps because they were easy to game from the start

so yes the total MC is hugely fake and over inflated
2022  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Reasons why this might be the year for Ripple on: May 31, 2018, 10:34:30 PM

at least this indicates to me the merit system is working as it should here

2024  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: May 31, 2018, 10:18:17 PM
and there has to be found new ways to distribute the remaining coins.
are there new ideas that hasn't be talked about yet?
or why not just burn them?

I would prefer to see them burned. We don't need more dilution. I just dont see the coins doing enough in advertising and enticing new investment to balance out another 30% dumped on the market to flippers.

shame because one of the best projects out there technically.

2026  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will IOTA do better in future? on: May 31, 2018, 10:14:39 AM
Hi, I was planning to put some of my money into IOTA in this current market dip. But a bit confused thinkg whether it will be a good idea or not. Could you please share your experience or suugestion, I should follow before finalizing the investment plan.
Crypto-currency IOTA is one of the most attractive instruments for investing for a long period. This project has every chance to take the lead in capitalizing digital projects in the world.

The mark of $ 100 for a coin is quite real, but for this we must see the development of the Internet project of Things.

these conservative/pessimistic estimates are amusing

surely 1m per iota token

on the other hand why not invest in byteball which seems to have a huge upside from where it is now.
2027  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: EOS Forced to Patch 'Epic' Security Loopholes Ahead of Launch on: May 29, 2018, 01:14:40 PM
stick to btc people or learn the hard way eventually
2028  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't hold Bitcoin for long time. on: May 29, 2018, 01:11:00 PM
lol at the logic employed by most people rocking up here now

picking a winning alt is going to get a lot harder so unless you're a very very big student of crypto then sticking with btc is probably going to return you way better results long term

alts are diluting to nothing

there are perhaps at best 8 alts that are solid picks at the current price ... but finding them is not easy for 99% of people

most are not even in the top 100
2029  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Sell your altcoin and buys bitcoin pioneering says on: May 29, 2018, 09:48:02 AM
I was a huge alt coin fan for years but now i see it will all be diluted to shit with too many me too crap coins coming out daily.
I am moving back to bitcoin and a few older alts with proven long term dev teams.

Most alts will dilute to nothing in a few years

2031  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which factor is the most important for you when you evaluate an ICO? on: May 29, 2018, 09:35:12 AM
better to not invest in icos at all just stick with proven projects and btc
2032  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you look at ICO ratings from the rating of the ICO website when you invest? on: May 29, 2018, 09:34:03 AM
no icos are mostly scams and short term manipulations... better to stick with btc or old proven projects
2033  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The market is falling! on: May 28, 2018, 09:03:20 PM
ico scammers dumping out before they  move on to opening up new icos for all the noob suckers to blow their next btc and eth on.

2036  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BitBay OFFICIAL BITBAY Thread Smart Contracts Decentralized Markets Rolling Peg on: May 28, 2018, 02:14:29 PM

Thanks for this answer David. As always the best dev out there bar none for keeping in touch with the community and answering questions.

Thanks, I appreciate it. I've made very good progress finishing both Employment and Python Templates and API. So all that is left is Barter. Then the peg. Then we broker some exchange relationships or something.

That all sounds like great news... whilst most other projects are stuck and i see zero progress in weeks.

I honestly believe we will break out from all these other projects that are actually going nowhere soon. The hype about new consensus mechanisms allowing huge tps numbers and fake ico high caps are all going to crash back to reality soon.
2037  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The REAL reason btc is crashing but alts are crashing even faster on: May 28, 2018, 02:08:30 PM
I agree with you that the main problem lies in the greedy investor and ico. things will continue, if everybody's thinking wants to get rich quickly overnight through investing in ico.

I'm curious, do you think ico will continue to exist, even more in the future?

Yes it will exist but there will be regulations in place to prevent all the scams and manipulations.
2038  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The REAL reason btc is crashing but alts are crashing even faster on: May 28, 2018, 01:43:22 PM
The root cause is the dependence of all alts from the BTC. Therefore, its fall will pull down the remaining crypto-currencies. This was obvious and understandable from the very beginning of bitcoin growth.

That's only true to an a certain degree.

BUT WHY is btc falling in light of excellent news really considering the adoption and regulations being put in place by governments of developed nations exceeding most realistic persons  expectations.

1. ico managers wanting to cash out and get as far away as possible from their shit projects they know are going nowhere so flooding btc/eth markets

2. other whale manipulation to shake the tree of weak hands.

3. 20k was a bubble and natural correction and consolidation.

probably a bit of all 3

plan for now

I see alts diluting and diluting to shit......too many projects most of which are crap but makes it so hard to find the REAL alternative projects here. So consolidate to btc and REAL long term projects that have a good distribution (not just high market cap alts that probably have huge fake caps due to narrow initial distribution)

I would not risk getting all out to fiat now because most are already so far down on their initial investment even a small bull in the alts that you miss could mean huge losses. Instead research hard and find the real long term alts that have a good use case and a proven long term dev team that distributed the tokens in a fair and broad way.

If you are in icos that seem to have lost their way and not hearing much from their dev teams for quite a while then look forward to more pain as they get delisted from major exchanges and sink to zero. This is the danger with allowing the dev team full access to the "dev fund" at the start and full control of how it gets spent.

there are only 2 catergories really for safety

1. too big to fail = btc/eth

2. proven dedicated teams with a unique use case and time tested and FAIR WIDE DISTRIBUTION.

of course also you need to consider the sec does have the power to reduce nearly any ICO to a shadow of its former self at any time.

I see pow making a big comeback or much tighter ico regs coming.

2039  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / The REAL reason btc is crashing but alts are crashing even faster on: May 28, 2018, 01:34:16 PM
Because all the noobs rushed in hoping to lambos on icos not realising 90% of them are outright scams that will dump those btc and ether they got from the noobs before abandoning that current ico to start another one.

Well done noobs do more research next time and just keep to btc that way you should end up with some profits in the long term rather than the vast majority ending up with nothing.

Don't keep dreaming of the next rags to riches overnight experiences a lucky few got in on (mostly insiders and whales anyway). Just stick to btc or long term solid projects.

If you invested in a 2017 ico that is still on page 1 of cmc you can expect that to be on page 5 or lower in a year. Get out to btc or a solid long term alt whilst you still can. Any losses you have taken already are only going to grow larger as time goes on. There will be no new alt bull run for most of these even when the btc bull run happens.
