@ lexele i got msi 290x twin frozr gaming core 1100, memory 1500 ..stable at ~230 H/s maybe you have to increase the power limit in msi afterburner mine is at +15
Is this with stock bios? as i stated above "all at stock bios"

The problem is that there are WAY TOO MANY Tom, Dick, and Harrys that are getting involved with mining.
First they start off with 1 GPU and make money, and then next month they get an entire rig, and in 3 months they max out their house's power by filling it up with 30-40 GPUs.
All this causes the difficulty to rise, and makes mining very unprofitable for everybody.
Right now ETH + ZEC miners revenue daily is slightly below $600,000. Which means for constant profit with constant difficulty there needs to be $600,000 of buyers of ZEC + ETH to keep everything stable.
I also think if BTC breaks the all time barrier of ~$1100 or so then it will be a great time for mining in general. But I am worried like most here and that 2017 will become like 2015 with mining being hardly profitable.
It's just part of the game, I've been mining for a few months only myself, but in the process I've learned quite a few things in trading and hardware optimization, it's been really fun. Also, most home miners don't have immense budgets and end up with maybe 2-3 rigs max, I doubt that this really makes that much of a difference against farms with hundreds of rigs. i think you are wrong, those average joe, are not 1-2 person, they are hundred/thousand, so thounsand of random guys with 1-3 rig, will make a difference for sure The guys with free electricity at home will make the big farms unprofitable. There are thousands of them. free electricity at home? by the thousands? Who are they?

Here is an example of an ICO that burned investors.. Anon dev, roadmap, website, and promises...WARP https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1329494.0for me ICO should start in January or February, dev should finish some things first before i get convinced. good luck guys Your suggestion is that we stop the ongoing ICO that already sold almost half of the 10 million coins and hang until February with 0.4 BTC and a big bill of servers (hosting the markets, nodes and website) and outsourced dev work (on the protocol) to pay every month? i came late here, ico already started so.. i'm just saying good luck. But generally i prefer if something has been done already, that can boost ico prices and confidence too.

I have a feeling, OP will pull leocoin up his sleeve in this thread (as usual) and people posting here will stop posting and leave this thread (like the other threads)

while i appreciate the constant speed increases. am i the only one who thinks we are being dripfed these as the diff goes up and the price drops. these speed increases are only keeping our mining income roughly the same. why is it that we can't get the full speed right off and actually make some money from this rather than the same old story of the big money men make the most.
Completely optimizing the code to best work with a new algorithm takes time. Has nothing to do with price of the currency compared to the miner's new version release dates. I believe we're getting pretty close to the limit on Sol/s. you are very wrong Well fkin speak up dude O.o, sure there's a great possibility Claymore has been holding out so he can make some big bucks on the side but unless you have evidence of this then you're just spitting conspiracy theories. Not only Claymore programmer. Do not forget Pascal much more powerful GPU. Do you think that for him there is not a secret private powerful miner? It's probably easier and more profitable just to release this with a dev fee. can we make a thread about conspiracy theories regarding miner developers in a separate thread?....you know.. i love stories and conspiracies but not here..i'll contribute to brainstorming in a separate thread

it guess it is for a diskless setup, mining rigs will boot from lan..the diskless server is where the mining rig's OS will come from.

maybe it would be better if claymore release two versions of the miner..
1. best hash per watt ratio for efficiency
2. the best hash a card can get, without considering the power consumption
some people have cheap electricity, they can benefit from no. 2...the other miners would benefit from no. 1

44 sols on my rx 480 and 49 sols on fury
i hope there is more hash increase in these new generation cards as claymore improve this Zcash miner.
Claymore Zcash miner almost doubled my sols in my windows mining rigs..well done!
What are you getting now with your Fury? 200 sols

280x ~120 H/s 480 ~160 H/s 290x ~166 H/s 390 ~180 H/s fury ~200 H/s win7 x64 16.10.3 driver all stock bios with over clocks i feel this gpus can still hash higher, temps are have not gone up What is your power usage on the cards? Please can you tell the GPU-z wattage values? Thank you gpu-z don't show watts in sensors to my fury, 290x, 390 and sapphire dualx 280x vaporx peaks at 82w and the 480's peaks at 100w something, they are fluctuating. Thanx. GPU-z on RX480 you can click on the Watts sign and it will show min, max, avg etc .. set it at avg and just wait for 1 min to get good average value. Just 2 cents correction, its my sapphire dual x 280x that is displaying watts not the vapor x gpu-z sensor watts: 280x is about 60w (average) 480 is about 80w (average)

Be really careful miners on your power use, according to my meter i only used around 14k kwh but with the feul cost and fees and taxes etc , my rate of .08 is actually closers to .22 !!!

push those cpu botnets to lesser profits.

What do you rejoice? It is advantageous when your speed is higher than the other. And when the rate rises in all, you are in relation to other, standing pat are.
It just kills the coin.
Exactly - the only one actually making money is Claymore xD If you check history, my miner is not x3 faster than others, I just see how fast others miners and release a bit faster version. This time I have to release faster version due to new miner. If people stop this speed racing I'll stop it too, but you know it won't work Also do note my miner is not for NVidia, not for CPU and not for Linux, so if I release miner with x2 speed, network difficult is not going to raise x2 too.

my fury has the biggest gain hittiing 180 H/s..maybe its the HBM memory, imagine when HBM2 is released with the rx 490, that gpu will probably outclass the rx 480 and HBM cards by a huge margin.
