2061  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 26, 2013, 09:20:01 AM
I saw the pictures of the case yesterday night just before going to bed and while i think i can say that i slept better tonight (but maybe it was simply due to how much i didn't slept during the last day), i'm having some hard problems to think that those pics should prove anything.

Pro:
They have proved that they can design a case with a not that dumb airflow and produce it. We will just have to flip the PSUs 180° if we need that in a rack, but it's ok.
The BJ chassis doesn't really need any kind of proof of its existence, as long as they can ship a standard PC case with cooling and PSU, BJ customers should be fine. There is nothing fancy needed. A datacenter case requires a little bit of engineering, and they proved that they can't do that. That's fine for me, as long as...

Cons:
As long as they show us some pics of the boards. The boards are the only important thing here (since that they can't/wont show us updates from TMSC portal for the chips).
If they can show us pics of the boards (a knc/cointerra-style fpga video simulation would be the best since that their competitors can do it), AND a REAL delivery date for the chips, i will immediately stop complaining. You have my word. (i will then just decide what to do bases on this real data).

Btw d&t, your posts are always a pleasure to read. I love people bringing numbers and facts to a discussion.
2062  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 25, 2013, 09:22:50 PM
for your modules.  and it was a low ball offer.
do you always distort things this much?
Well, i've never received any higher offer (i have an open thread on sales), so i don't really see how i'm distorting the truth. The value of the BJ is in the chips, who cares about the PSU and cooling and case? do you think i can resell them? Fine, let's say that the market value of BJs is 1250+200$. Big deal.

Where is your open sales thread.  Was the $1500 offer for the MPP module or your batch 1BabyJet?
Obviously if someone is going to buy your MPP module for $1,500 then a BabyJet delivered 90 days prior would have more value right?

Shipping delayed to Mid November (??) as per hashfast announcement.
I will accept lower offers, pm me.

Cyperdoc's 1250$ offer was per BJ module. Unfortunately no, it wasn't for the MPP.
2063  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 25, 2013, 08:41:09 PM
How many do you have?   I will give you 10 coins each for them assuming you get HF to deliver them to my address.   If you get them to transfer the MPP to my name, I will give you 2 more each.   I am making the assumption you are not the order listed for 200.    If you are, then PM me and I will still make an offer on all of them and will pay you in coins.
12 btc each could be a good offer... (i guess that i can just give you the contract i have with the datacenter). You are temping me. It's what we should get back with an delivery on the first of December, that is not something we can be sure of...

Do you have some automatic notification when someone type your name anyway? Your response time is interesting.
2065  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 25, 2013, 07:39:06 PM
Anyway the current market value of BJs are 1250$ each. Paid in USD cash, not even BTC; so that everyone knows. (re cyperdoc offers).
2066  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 25, 2013, 07:03:11 PM
Cedivad, out of curiosity, are you demanding a refund in original Bitcoin amount, assuming you paid in Bitcoin, or the FIAT amount?
I paid in Bitcoin and i will do my best to get my Bitcoin back, independently from the exchange rate, as it was promised.
2067  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 25, 2013, 06:57:18 PM

@yuriygeorge Why do you talk without information? KNC did post a picture of their chips right after they had them in hand and they also post PCBs BEFORE they had the chips in hand. I don't see HF posting any picture yet.

True: KNC posted the PCB pics August 21st, good point. (https://www.kncminer.com/news/news-30). I've e-mailed HashFast about their PCB progress/pics. Will follow up if they respond. Thanks for correcting me.

Time lost.
2068  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 25, 2013, 06:30:41 PM
They promised in September, and gave us pics September 30th, delivered in October. Hashfast promised late October, no pics yet, hopefully early November. Let's get some pics, I agree. But still to soon to be making lawsuit threats and FCC filings imo.
I'm sorry, but i don't really listen to users with activity count from 45 to 65. They are incredibly pro-hashfast.

FCC laws entitles us to a refund, that was denied. Given that and the actual lack of every kind of proof that they will deliver something by mid november, why we shouldn't do everything we can to defend ourselves?
2069  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast launches sales of the Baby Jet on: October 25, 2013, 06:22:32 PM
So how could that answer shock you, unless, like me, you are shocked its so low.
I wasn't shocked by the amount, we all know how expensive 22nm are after all. What was groundbreaking was hearing him replying that way. He also kept repeating that what they wanted where their customers to succeed, this is why they initially launched batch 3 sales as private only with existing customers only. It was a nonsense then, it's an utter nonsense now.
2070  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast launches sales of the Baby Jet on: October 25, 2013, 06:10:01 PM
How much profit u think Hashfast has made? Without even shipping a product out?
I meet John at the conference, because i was starting to complain about things i didn't see on track. By John i mean HashFast's VP of marketing.
He was a "nice guy". When i made a joke about his happiness and self-confidence, he replied that they sold 3M$ of products without even starting to ship something, with a huge smile. I was shocked by his answer, but i swear to god that this is what he told me. I should have made a recording of that, what a fool I'm.
However wait, there where two guys sitting upstair one meter from us that where listening to the whole conversation, we might be able to trace them down and have them as witness in case of a lawsuit. From their accent i would presume they where German. Good stuff.

The hashrate at the beginning of next year will keep skyrocketing as it did until now, there is still a lot of room for increase. Our MPP will probably guarantee us something like another 10% return. And yet, it all depends on my signature. What seems most probable to me right now is that despite all of the claims, we will see something only before the end of the year.

Cases with PSUs on the wrong side guys, cases with PSUs on the wrong side.

Think about that. Yeah, it's computer science.

This is the point and my problem. They promised us pics weeks ago, but we have yet to receive them.
You can keep trolling me and this thread how much you want, i really don't care, the only fixed point that i have, and i've repeated for a while, is really simple.

If, as they claim, they have everything else but the chip on track, why they can't show us that?
If they are lying to us, why we should keep believing in them?

It's really really easy, and it's either true or false. Either way, it looks like that this thread can be derailed with utter nonsense unrelated with that point.

Look, i will edit my poor signature.

@cedivad

As a hero member, you should know what the risks are in bitcoin land.  I didn't get KNC because I was uncomfortable with ordering  from another country.  I weighed the pros cons of HF and purchased a few BJ.   I am still hoping to get my bitcoins back.
I did know the risks and where ready to loose up to 30% of my investment without the blink of an eye.
However, what is happening is that in the best case scenario i will lose 75% of it, and, there is no proof that they will deliver anything at all either. It's like BFL in the early stages or bASIC before the end (i remember that i was the first one asking for a refund, as inaba somehow recalled me).
2072  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 25, 2013, 12:11:34 PM
I think it's quite clear, as stated they have one component which has let them down and this is the reason for them being late.
Are you sayng that the chip being late implies the boards being late?
God, i always tough they where two different things.
2073  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 25, 2013, 12:01:15 PM
Public press releases with ties to significant component brands is proof the machines are on there way.
What does on their way means? That everything but the substrate (capacitor and resistors v2.0) was ready? Because it should have been, right? They have always claimed so. So, where are they?
2074  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 25, 2013, 11:55:15 AM
Anyway, i will continue to push on that button: where are some solid proofs that hashfast has something, expect than pieces of paper from everyone?
If they can't produce a pic of PCB really soon, hey, that might not exists.
The consequence of that is that they never really tough to be shipping in october, and than, they lied to us all for all the time.
2075  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 25, 2013, 05:20:39 AM
I really love how everyone knows what's best to the customers that feels screwed by hashfast. Expecially the guys with an activity count between 40 and 60.
I have a question for you.

Do you have any tangible proof that hashfast will delivery anything before the end of the year?
Because i don't. Like a pic of a PCB. Do we have a pic of the PCB we should have received already?

Please share if you have one.
2076  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 25, 2013, 12:08:20 AM
HF is losing credibility fast. Lets hope this does not turn into yet another BFL, although it is sure starting to look like it.

As for me. When I ordered and paid for my BJ the words 'anticipated' and 'December 31' were not on the site/conditions. Those were added later. It simply stated 'Shipping starts October 20-30, in order of purchase'. Fact.
And what are you waiting for to join me or whoever else in a pooled lawsuit against them?
Let's share our time, money and resources. United we are way stronger than them.

Thanks for posting the link to the FTC consumer complaints form. It took less than 5 minutes to complete.

I encourage anyone else who has been denied a refund request to file an FTC complaint.

https://www.ftccomplaintassistant.gov/GettingStarted?NextQID=70&Url=%23%26panel1-6
Thanks for your contribute mdbssm, it's appreciated. They should read 3 new complaints to the same entity tomorrow, maybe more. It would be great if they where 50 by next week.

Vies, my answer was signed by Erin. I'm not sure of his position inside the company, i don't have the time to start linkedin again, but it's the first contact i have with someone that isn't in sales.

>tomorrow will try to speak with Jhon
Lost time. Only lost time. Even if you speak in person, by call or in chat, the guy knows his job. You will get anything out of him but void promises.
2077  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: HashFast announces specs for new ASIC: 400GH/s on: October 24, 2013, 11:49:52 PM
Well, I got an answer for the suggestion for upgrading the BJs orders into sierras:
It's the same exact email i got.
BS... bs everywhere.
Signed by their ceo, right? I even lost time replying.

Ok, i will move on legally.
2078  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Gathering founds for legal action against HashFast on: October 24, 2013, 10:09:16 PM
Hey if thats your goal than good luck, I think it would be fairly easy to win this with a decent lawyer. Do you have a hardware background?
Sorry, what do you mean by hardware background? Like in computers? I think to know everything that there is to know about computer hardware, and i'm studying electronic engineering (for what it matters).
The only lawyer quote i have is a 300$/hour one, but i guess that i can find a decent one for much lower than that, what do you think?

(again, if anyone has lawyer suggestions, they are really welcome)

(thanks!)
2079  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Gathering founds for legal action against HashFast on: October 24, 2013, 10:00:13 PM
If you ordered support this man and get your money back
Thanks. My idea is to put down 5k to 10k of my own money, but it would be much much better if there where a community following and helping on this long way. Not only money-wise, that is also important, since that i think 10k won't bring me that far.
Problem is they probably wasted all that money on development so they probably cant refund anything even if you won.
Well, i guess that i could have the company' IP. Like the chip, if it exist. Take it and make it open source. It would be my dream. Who cares about the money at that point?
2080  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Gathering founds for legal action against HashFast on: October 24, 2013, 09:56:08 PM
Your fucking mentally retarded. Hashfast is obligated by law to ship within 30-60days or have to provide a refund you dumb fuck. Doesn't matter if they say we will ship 5 years from now.
That is when no shipping time is determined: the standard one is within 30 days. Anyway, it doesn't really matter: we are entitled by the law to a full refund if we cancel the order before the shipping and/or if we refuse the shipment.
Anyway just ignore him, you will have brighter days.
