2081  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Renovato - Suspicious project with a possible Fake Team member on: March 04, 2019, 08:21:48 PM
For information, I had some doubt about the project last week;

The elements exposed are problematic (thank to ICOEthic for his work,as usual)
(and I would not put money as an investor on the project...)

However, I talked to the CEO of Renovato by Telegram (Charles Varnado therefore) and he was able to give me a picture of him, not retouched.

~snip~

It doesn't prove anything (one way or the other), and It's maybe a stolen picture after all, but I think it's important to make that clear.
Providing images especially the ones who look like they have been taken out for back up is useless. This guy already provided a lousy photoshopped image of a guy, I doubt we can even trust him with more pictures of that person. If he was kind enough to provide you more images of "Him" then he might probably go for the extra mile by providing an actual video of him maybe talking about his STO token which I think is sufficient enough to prove his identity.

Meenoy S./ Shengji Chen on the other hand confirms that they have used a fake identity for one of their team members not unless Meenoy S. is just a nickname for this dude which I doubt is the situation. None of their team is still responding so a lot of things are still unclear.
2082  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Kaspersky Professional Security Package for Free until July 31st on: March 04, 2019, 03:50:27 PM
News about their connection with the KGB definitely have affected their sales that is why they are doin this kind of giveaways. This might also help to regain their reputation back if they maintain the 4 months of free service to be flawless on the user's end which I think is achievable especially for a well-respected anti-virus software. The problem is will users be attracted to a anti-virus software who has been linked to getting their users' data? I know a lot of people will be testing it out but for people who has a lot of vital information and wallets in their desktop I don't recommend you risking your pc for something that is temporarily free.
2083  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-3-3]SEC’s Bitcoin ETF Approval will Boost Crypto Market on: March 04, 2019, 10:46:36 AM
Count me out if you are talking about the "entire" community waiting for the ETF approval as the sign for the next bull run. The way I see it Bitcoin ETFs are old news that cannot trigger a FOMO anymore in the market, what affected it is the endless extensions and appeal reviews the SEC is doing making the anticipation of the market less interested about the topic. Any movement after the release of good news (if there will be) about Bitcoin ETFs will just be merely coincidental in nature if that happens.
2084  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 235: Jones vs. Smith Prediction and Info Thread on: March 03, 2019, 08:10:10 PM
Like what I have said in my earlier prediction, Anthony Smith didn't have any chance against Jon Jones although I have to give Smith kudos on finishing the fight via decision which Alexander Gustafsson didn't make on UFC 232.  One of the biggest factor why Smith got outmatch on all rounds is him being not a natural light heavyweight fighter he only started in this weight class last year where he first fought Thiago Santos and loss. You can see the huge size difference in both of them even if Smith only weighs .5 grams lighter in the weigh in ceremony.
2085  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: WARNING - Coinomi Wallet CRITICAL Vulnerability Made Me Lose My Life Savings on: March 03, 2019, 07:22:22 PM
I have published my second official statement regarding Coinomi "Spell Check" scandal

You can read the new statement from the following link (video included):
https://twitter.com/warith2020/status/1102208448236847107
Nice way to get back and reply at Coinomi's Medium post, I wasn't convinced on how they answered the vulnerability issues especially when they have evaded a lot of your points in your blog post, they haven't even mentioned anything about the "legal implications" they are threatening you if you disclose the vulnerability issue to the web. So far you have 114 views in your video maybe if this goes viral Coinomi will be pressured to reimburse your loss fund and the rest of the users who are affected.
2086  Other / Meta / Re: [PERMABAN APPEAL] ChiBitCTy on: March 03, 2019, 05:53:01 PM
At first thought I will straightaway say no to this kind of permaban changes as I will always look at how it will open up avenues for the abusive plagiarizers to get back in the forum. But then theymos speak up and said that "everything is case-by-case" so definitely no one who do not deserve to be back in the forum won't make the exceptions theymos will make. Permaban should definitely stay but should be awarded to people who really abuses the forum and has no contributions to the forum but the shitty posts they make if not plagiarized. ChiBitCTy is still active in the forum he can only read threads but cannot post anything, if he was one of those plagiarizers who got permabanned he won't be using his account anymore to use the forum.
2087  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake Ethereum Constantinopole Airdrop, PHISHING attempt. on: March 03, 2019, 04:31:42 PM

EDIT
Done Tagging both of them.
Good work Theb.

This 2 particular profiles are also mostly likely the scammer's alts if you look at their post histories, they have been in every scam thread of theirs bumping it and posting that it's not scam.

1. madlen2018 >>>> Post History

2. Willderk >>>> Post History

Anybody who can, please tag them too.
I don't think that they are, they both joined bounty campaigns before they have posted shit about Ethereum Constantinople. They might just be two dumbasses believing that Constatinople network is a fork of Ethereum  Grin. So I won't be tagging them as it still lacks evidence that they are directly connected to the scam unlike the case of Alysek which consistently shill the project and provide links of the website every time he replies, they might just have been easily fooled from the scam project believing it was a real fork.
2088  Economy / Economics / Re: Chinese rating cryptocurrency on: March 02, 2019, 07:54:15 PM
I won't be surprised if the top executives of the China Center for Information Industry Development are hodlers of EOS, ETH, Bitshares, and  NEO. I know how people woth power and influence sway the market and thisbis one of their tactics to somehow pump the prices of what they are hodling. If only somehow they have managed and left the top spot for BTC and not ranked it at 16th then their ratings would be believable but obviously it's not the case and they made their bias detectable right away.
2089  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Fake Ethereum Constantinopole Airdrop, PHISHING attempt. on: March 02, 2019, 11:35:32 AM
I tagged eth_constantinople clearly this is just another scam and phishing attempt from scammers, using the network name and claiming that they are a new forked coin related to Ethereum is what raised the red flags for me. I will also be tagging Alysek after writing this post as he has been shilling for Ethereum Constantinople and providing the links of the website on some of his post.

It was a great idea to make Constantinople!

An interesting find! We are developers and equipment manufacturers. Smarheat is one of our many partners and distributors for our products. In 2016, they received from us, as from manufacturers, the right to distribute our products for one year, until 2017, but then we stopped working with them. In the picture that you sent above this is the first version of the server, also we have 2nd and 3rd version. Also in partnership with smartheat, they made for us only case for the 3rd version of heater (2016), but we did all the R&D for first one (2013) and the second (2014).
This does not explain why smartheat.io have the same product picture as you do. If the picture above was the first version then why is smartheat.io using it and not their actual products you have sold to them? Things really don't add up as Smartheat is also a russian manufacuturer and distributor which earlier you have claimed in your other posts that you haven't heard about heat convection miners in Russia.
Same assumptions if smartheat is one of their partners or distributor and even tell that they do have lots of partners i cant even see another same product when trying to search out its only smartheat which
i do presume that they do just dragged out that picture and the original seller is smartheat itself. What you think? Grin
At this point I wouldn't assume on who's product belongs to who but so far they are not complying to what I asked for which was a really easy task all they have provided is just a screen recorded mobile phone scrolling to a bunch of mining equipment which at any point does not connect them in anyway being the owners of the mining equipment. Don't you think that there is a possibility that these people, Hotmine, just stumbled a bunch of mining equipment from a unknown manufacturer and started taking pictures and claim that its theirs.

With their latest posts in their other thread they just watermarked the old photos I am talking about which does not prove anything about them being the owners of the mining equipment. Again they already gone the trouble of creating a Youtube video and even watermarking their existing pictures then why can't they provide a written company name tag on their alleged mining equipment and take a picture of it?
2091  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UFC 235: Jones vs. Smith Prediction and Info Thread on: March 01, 2019, 03:12:30 AM
Anthony Smith in the UFC looks good and all his matches all of them are wins via KO or stoppage. All that being said I still don't think he has a chance on winning against Jon Jones as Jones right now is definitely on a different level, Gustafsson which I thought was a evenly matched fighter didn't have any chance at all.
2092  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-02-27]Satis Group Cryptocurrency Future Price Prediction on: February 28, 2019, 08:17:50 PM
Like all "pro" predictors and influencers out there their timing is always right when giving out predictions where the market will be heading. By now they are guessing a bull run happening in 2019 as they know themselves that the market has bottomed out and there is nowhere to go but up. What's ridiculous about this is this Satis group is also predicting unbelievable BTC like prices for Altcoins where they are predicting that it will go up to 19,000$ in the next 10 years and Zcash will be trading at 9,000$ in the same time frame solely because of the reason of them being a anonymity coin.  Well that's just either being highly optimistic or purely insane with the scenario they are in.
2093  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: Cryptocurrency cold storage wallets retrieveable after computer hard drive corru on: February 28, 2019, 07:42:40 PM
I don't have the private keys on any of them. I didn't see any private key information on any of the coin wallet apps. Where should I have looked to find the private key?  I didn't see any 12 - 24 word code on any of the coin wallet apps, I have only see that code when I created a Binance or myetherwallet account.
I'm beginning to think that you might just have downloaded a regular wallet app like Coinbase as usual Cold storage wallets will give you right away the private keys after choosing what wallet you will create. Regular wallet apps like Coinbase would just only create you wallet account along with your email and password for registration which cold storage won't do.
2094  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mapping the crypto fraud landscape on: February 28, 2019, 06:59:15 PM
In will like to put cryptojacking as "crypto motivated crime". In recent days crytojacking in in increase and the people who have nothing to do with crypto are victims of it.
I agree with r1s2g3 on this one, cryptojacking wasn't included in your mind map. Although cryptojacking doesn't straight away ask cryptocurrency or even steal cryptocurrencies from you the criminal still gains money from the use of your hardware unknowingly. It's pretty prevalent that even the websites we visit now mines monero for them just by reading their articles, some employees even go as far as using their employer's computer hardware to mine crypto which is absolutely absurd. The victim here would not lose any money through theft but of course he will be incurring losses through the cost of mining crypto unknowingly and to top it off the victim won't even earn a dime for what he had done to the fraudster.

In my opinion Piatek is one of the shining star for Ac Milan, and he has deservedly hogged Ronaldo’s limelight, I’m hoping he continues scoring goals and lift Ac Milan up in the table.
The problem here is yes Piatek is showing a great performance for the team but it comes with the horrible sacrifice of making Patrick Cutrone merely a substitute for him. If they would keep up having the 4-3-3 formation as their main strategy then Cutrone would always be the 2nd option for the Forward spot and as a Milan fan it is a hard thing to see that one of your home grown youth players is now only a substitute. The worse possible scenario to happen here is that Cutrone would leave the team if he won't be included in the starting 11 anytime soon.

In the branch with the history of Hotmine (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5114987.msg49947111#msg49947111) there will be two more versions, have patience Smiley

To confirm, here is a video from our CEO on the Hotmine youtube channel, which shows the process of developing in slideshow:
https://youtu.be/hS5_Rxk2W04

Also video from our old youtube channel with some parts of 2013 mining equipment:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=brDvV50WhZE
You really think that a screen recorded video of a cellphone scrolling into some mining equipment is a convincing evidence for me? Well for me it isn't enough you already have undergone the trouble of uploading the Youtube video just right now but you didn't do the request that I asked for which is putting the company name in your "first version" of the mining equipment which both you and smartheat is using.
2097  Economy / Speculation / Re: Let's analyse Bitcoin's recent market rise on: February 28, 2019, 03:57:32 PM
Why do a lot of people assumes Bitcoin's price movement be connected to any news we see. Its really has no sense when we talk about it. BTC has been long overdued to have a little price rally like this as it was extremely oversold and other indicators such as the MACD and the rising volume shows bullishness before this news even hit the market. I mean come on guys what connection do you see on the announcement of JPMcoin on BTC's rise? I really don't see any.
2098  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2019-02-28]Japan’s Issue Of Money Laundering Linked To Cryptocurrency on: February 28, 2019, 01:56:40 PM
Japan is really against this criminal activity from what I heard since the past year they are one of the two countries who have forced exchanges to delist anonymity based cryptocurrencies such as Monero and Zcash. Even though they had sucessfully delist these cryptocurrencies it hadn't stopped money laundering in the country as what they are doing is not enough they have even worsen their situation by adding another crypto exchange in their country.
2099  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Italian League Prediction Thread (Serie A) on: February 28, 2019, 11:59:15 AM
Inter were up 3 - 1 with 16 minutes left, I think they weren't disciplined enough, If not they could have gone ahead to win it. Now they have just two points ahead of AC Milan who happened to be in terrific form and could overthrow them from 3 position if they are not cautious enough.
It's a close race between Inter Milan, A.C. Milan, and Roma on who will qualify for next season's Champions League. The three of them only have a difference of around 3 points and with only around 13 matches left for all of them there is no time for one of them to be comfortable. As a A.C. Milan fan I love what I am seeing from the new forward, Piatek definitely is serviceable for the team. I just hope he gives us the needed points to stay above the top 4 of Serie A.
2100  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Adoption Spreading Fast In The Automotive Industry on: February 28, 2019, 09:01:34 AM
Only rich people will pay in this payment method, most of the people buying cars nowadays are undergoing through banks under loan payments. So it's a nice addition but I doubt that most of the people holding cryptocurrencies will buy cars with their crypto right now. What I would like to see instead is for the car parts aftermarket to accept cryptocurrencies as well as people would likely accept the prices in crypto for the car parts.
