Vejo isso como uma realidade, ou ao menos, parte de uma:
Não importa se é Bitcoins, Litecoins, whatever... Garimpo qualquer moeda que tenha um projeto interessante (GPU or CPU friendly), seja transparente, descentralizada e de domínio público (Open Source) (Solidcoin tá fora)... lol - E a uso no dia a dia...
Só não uso mais, e acabo vendendo por "dinheiro local", porque as pessoas ainda não fazem idéia sobre o que é o Bitcoin / Litecoin... Mas, assim que todas as pessoas conectadas à Internet, perceberem que dinheiro (toda a "economia" na realidade) nada mais é do que um "arquivo" que você "compartilha / troca" na Internet... Igual MP3 via Torrent... Conseguimos!
O que importa é: o fim do dinheiro controlado pelo Estado.
Se você me pagar com "CryptoCurrency", vendo o meu produto ou presto o meu serviço para você. "Pulando" o governo e os bancos.
Não precisamos de banco para registrar um número no computador, que é simplesmente o nosso saldo. Não tem conversa.
Como eles [o governo e grandes corporações] vão prosseguir com a corrupção e o lucro a todo custo, se o Povo da Terra adotar uma moeda global e descentralizada?!
Não tem mais taxas nem impostos para eles.

Multiple nodes can share wallets with SC2.0 so won't really matter. Even if an attacker wants to flood a node off the network there are backup ones waiting. Only reason one wallet is mainly solving them at the moment (and no it's not mine) is because of a re-org issue we are trying to limit when too many trusted nodes are active at the moment. They're still there waiting for trusted block time to hit a certain level before they submit their work currently. SC2.0 is hacker proof, wouldn't matter what the lonely bitcoinexpress does, we already asked him to destroy the public beta he didn't, we asked him to destroy SC2.0 when it was released he didn't. People still think this lonely 45yo man can do anything worthwhile? Pretty funny. Does anyone think someone looking like this has many braincells active at once? Looks like an alcoholic too.  No matter what you say. SC2 isn't a cryptocurrency. You lame. Litecoin is FAR much more nice! ;-) |

Sorry about my ignorance but, what pool already have merged mining?!
Slush, BTCGuild, Eligius, NMCBit, SimpleCoin. Of the big 5 only Arsbitcoin and deepbit don't currently offer merged mining. Arsbitcoin has indicated they may offer merged mining but needs to work through some issues. There is a lot of noise on deepbit thread on why it hasn't offered merged mining yet so either deepbit offers merged mining (easily doubles NMC hashrate) or expect DeepBit to be getting smaller in the future. I would be very surprised if all of the top 10 pools don't all offer merged mining within a couple weeks. Too much "free coin". I mean if you could earn x BTC per week or 1.3x BTC per week for the exact same miner, hardware, electrical cost, and end user "work" which would you pick? Do you know if the http://mining.mainframe.nl/ pool offers merged mining?! Thanks! Thiago |

Now when merged mining is in place and going without problems, is namecoin difficulty gonna explode to bitcoin size ?
i allready see that its gonna tripple in about 2 hours, so it seams that nmc is gonna become allmost as rare as bitcoin

Typo on the worker page, it's _1 and password 1, not letters sorry.
Still something wrong with stats - I've been mining for 10 mins but no stats (still 0 active workers), then it logged me out Mee too... Stats empty at the pool. |

http://184.107.145.244/Litecoin pool. Consider it experimental right now , and toss a core on it and register real quick. It worked perfectly on the testnet. Now it's giving me a longpool every minute exactly, and I haven't had a share in 15 minutes from one computer. Stats are all reset and it is pointed to the production server. Give me some feedback and I'll go from there. 3 miners connected to this pool!!! |
