The Saturn just survived it's first power outage...was only 3 seconds(A storm here), but that's dangerous in itself...the miner auto-rebooted, auto-connected & started re-hashing just fine... Smiley

You were trying to configure wireless via bridge.  You succeeded I hope.  I want to do something similar but not just protect my miners, I think I'll have [cable docsis modem] --> Linksys (Cisco) E900 wirelessly transmitting --> an access point or bridge of some kind immediately next to it --> another Linksys (Cisco) E900 which will feed my network, miners, tablets and computers.  The separation of hardwire cable in between the docsis -> first E900 and the AP or bridge will protect against a high voltage in via the cable.  Won't protect my TV tho.

Ok mine just updated to shipped as well, I'm starting to think the people's that are marked shipped without tracking might of went out dhl? Guess we will see, hope it gets to Hawaii fast!

I've seen UPS tracking here in the US work two different way, a shipper can notify UPS an order is to be picked up that day and provide the tracking number or the shipper can simply have the item picked up.  In the first case UPS gives tracking info before pickup and the latter tracking info isn't provided until actual pickup scan or office scan.

The pickup scan or office scan doesn't seem to appear on the USPS website until after 8PM.

If their UPS pickup in Sweden is at 5PM their time then we who have UPS shipping might see tracking after 8PM there or after 2PM EDT.

Mercury marked as shipped, order# 317x.  No tracking number yet.  No activity seen on Slush although it only registers if the activity is sufficient to generate a share.
2105  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: Swedish ASIC miner company kncminer.com on: October 16, 2013, 02:50:35 AM
It changed around 10am PST orso, I was hitting refresh and mine showed shipped all of a sudden, alas without tracking number.

Kronut: You need to sick squid girl on them.

They are Swedish vikings, not very afraid of a squid I presume...

It looks like they will finish up shipping this week though, from reading through the shipping log thread.

Then KnC will start building and shipping November orders?  Is that shut down period still planned?

Status changed from in progress to shipped. 28XX but no tracking number yet.
'

Did this just recently changed?  or was this done earlier today?  Curious because it is like 3am there right now.

I have a 31xx Order that is still in progress.  So getting a little more excited every time i see a number closer to mine saying shipped.

In the same boat.  Somebody noted they don't work weekends but do work until 10PM weekdays.  True or not I don't know.  So, I figure by 4PM EDT any new information is already out there and probably nothing after than until maybe 2AM EDT.  Mid-2000's orders today is good news.  Expecting shipment this week for 31xx's wouldn't be unreasonable.

Stockholm sunrise 7:29:32, sunset 17:36:57, their daylight is an hour 13 minutes shorter than where I live.

im having a bit of trouble, if anyone could help me out.
cgminer doesnt seem to want to start when i try to connect to my eligius account. but starts up fine with other pools.
it has worked fine for a week now, but all of a sudden after i tried slushs pool for an hour, cgminer just hangs when i try to connect back to eligius. tried 50btc and thats working too. back at slush again for now.

any ideas, could it be some pool config file that got messed up somehow?
ive tried hard reset, and reinstalling firmware. nothing helps.
im not experienced with linux, but know enough to ssh in with putty and execute screen -r.
all i get when trying to connect to eligius is the cgminer startup screen with " starting cgminer 3.4.0"
and then nothing.

any help would be appreciated.
try taking "HTTP://" out of the stratum address, and enter it like this:
stratum.mining.eligus.st:3333
nothing else... (except your wallet address for username)

thought the eligius stratum pool is mining.eligius.st:3334

using windows?  copy and paste your eligius id into a text file, copy and paste your payout address into another text file. run

fc file1 file2

file compare should tell you if you screwed up your id.

Any Mercury orders showing shipped?  Earliest Mercury on the voluntary October shipping list is July 2 order number 31xx.

The only cost might be UPS were already paid and you'd lose $120 on throwing that label in the dustbin.

A label is fully refundable up until the time the UPS driver scans the package. There is no excuse for not offering full refunds as promised up until the time the package is picked up.

Not disagreeing with you at all, I think they should offer refunds up until they ship the customers particular order however you did agree to their terms which stated no refunds once they start shipping and obviously they started shipping...

Shipping is "personal", not "company-wide". It's no refund until *your* order is shipped, not *any* order is shipped.

Watch shipped orders sit at UPS in Sweden until the gov spending shutdown ends - in December.

--SNIP--

Second question. Someone in this thread disassembled the KNC firmware (can't find the quote) and found a 6 module option. Is this form factor in construction at the factory?

--SNIP--

It would be great if you could shine some light on what is actually being built by KNC. That was your original purpose for visiting Sweden? This isn't trolling. These are valid questions.

The info about 6 module miners presented by others in this thread to date:

The SW and mainboard has provisions for a 6 module unit.

The pictures from the datacenter buildout show shelves with standoffs to mount 6 modules.

No 6 module miner has been announced or reported in the wild.

The mainboard appears to be capable of mounting a second BBB.
Reports from the field indicate that the BBB does better with 3 modules or less.
It has been speculated that the BBB with the current SW is at or near or over a limit with 4 modules.
Modders are in the process of doing further research.

This could be a sw limit or it could be a hw limit in the BBB as implimented by KnC.

Hopes this answers your question.

Or it might portend some mega-miner somewhere down the road.

US gov spending shutdown will have international ripple effect as payoffs fail to be made.

US customs must be suffering from gov spending shutdown.  Somebody necessary to approve shipments must have gotten an unpaid vacation.   Shipping in Sweden communicates intent to ship something, awaits a usual response from US customs which is non-forthcoming.  Shipping stops.

So really it's the Tea Party to blame.
Triple self quote.  Wonder what that means.

Not much.  Deleted a quote by someone else to which I had replied.  My direction didn't follow his faithfully.
