2141  Bitcoin / Wallet software / Re: What wallet should i choose are my steps correct? on: November 16, 2022, 11:06:16 PM
That's too much work if just want to hold them all coins ledger is the perfect solution for your needs without compromising your wallet just make sure that you save or write down the seed phrase on the piece of paper for future recovery.

Or for the safety of your backup seed you can use ELLipal Mnemonic metal or Keystone - Indestructible Steel Crypto Cold Storage Seed Backup, Which supports All BIP39 seeds. It is safer than holding the backup digitally.
2142  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: 200amp panel trying too fill with asics to keep garage warm... on: November 16, 2022, 10:51:16 PM
You can check this "Current list of ASIC miner manufacturer/distributor".

There are two active manufacturer that sells cheap units the shop.canaan.io and shop.bitmain.com but check the Canaan they are selling cheaper their a1126 pro is around $480.

If you are looking for used units try to contact offordscott
2143  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: HELP -BMminer Version and Harware Version not found? Ebay purchase?? on: November 16, 2022, 04:04:10 PM
Why don't you just go check and read the braiins documentation about reverting or flashing it back to factory firmware?

Check this link https://docs.braiins.com/os/20.03/open-source-en/Setup/2_upgrade_downgrade_uninstall.html#flashing-a-factory-firmware

about JP4 if you just want to boot it to braiins without flashing it then you need to download the right firmware there are two options to download, the one is "auto-install to nand" and "Run from SD card" download the "Run from SD card" and paste the contents to SD. And then if you want to boot it don't forget to move the JP4 it is the same as how you flashed the unit before but this time if you move the JP4 to the original position then the miner will boot to the original firmware.
2144  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: PROBLEM WITH AISEN A1 PRO 21T LOVEMINER on: November 16, 2022, 03:44:19 PM
Instead of Nicehash, which one i could use to mine ?
i will try to make it more cold.

Thank you and regards.

Nicehash is not a pool they rented your miner and anytime they can switch to mine other coins than Bitcoin but you are paid in Bitcoin depending on your miner's valid shares.

About other pools check the ViaBTC pool or try to find other pools here https://miningpoolstats.stream/bitcoin
That's the real pool compared to using Nicehash.

Based on the 2nd image above it looks like the hashrate is fine and the 20th/s is the average hashrate look at the chart carefully there is a  gap on the first run and also look at the current hashrate it's sending 22th/s.
2145  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Have you ever seen a Finance Market Place like this? on: November 15, 2022, 11:45:27 PM
Never heard of peerwallet before I tried to check it on Whois the result the domain is old but archive.org tells me that the website was just recently purchased.

Most people here are always looking for a P2P exchange that accepts all digital payments but we do not trust a new business that uses aged domain it is more likely used for marketing or scam purposes.

If you are the owner of this website if you want to build trust here better hire a campaign manager and promote it here through a signature campaign.
2146  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Low power consumption - how comes? on: November 15, 2022, 11:30:05 PM
What pool do you mine? You might be trying to mine in the Asicboost pool which is not compatible with the S3 unit.

Access through IP its should have a dashboard then look for mining logs and post them here.

We should see the issue under that logs and don't forget to put all logs inside the code tag its a # button when editing a post here.
2147  Bitcoin / Mining software (miners) / Re: HELP -BMminer Version and Harware Version not found? Ebay purchase?? on: November 15, 2022, 11:14:00 PM
Where or what pool do you mine? Check carefully if you pasted it with extra spaces or letters because the miner will not work properly if the Url has extra spaces or extra letters.

Another thing is your internet may be very slow and unstable plus the pool server you use has a high ping.

Why not test it with BraiinsOS? If your concern is you don't know to put it back to stock firmware why not just boot the miner with an SD card instead of flashing it directly to the nand?
2148  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: PROBLEM WITH AISEN A1 PRO 21T LOVEMINER on: November 15, 2022, 10:57:34 PM
I don't know if it's normal but if it's stable mining at 20th/s for me it's fine but if you want to find out the reason my guess is the PSU is not giving enough power or you might need to cool down the miner a bit to avoid throttle.

Another thing that I noticed from your logs is that you are mining on nicehash with the asicboost pool which I think is the reason why it's not mining at full or more than 20th/s.
2149  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Trojan virus found on my new download Electrum wallet on: November 15, 2022, 11:31:45 AM
This is a common issue in Electrum some servers are actually blocked by AV or sometimes Electrum is not syncing properly or the electrum is totally red/disconnected from the server due to malware.

Changing the server manually should fix this issue and I do recommend you to keep your AV/Malwarebytes aggressive to make sure your PC is safe if it detects and blocked a few servers just let it block only the server and then use other servers which are not infected.

2150  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Crypto.com and Gate.io will also bite the dust? on: November 14, 2022, 11:38:45 PM
It's pretty bad to hear news daily after the issue happen to FTX now crypto.com. I never use this exchange but I usually see this in sports like a basketball under the floor.

This will never change it is likely the same as what happens to other exchanges in every bear market or when the market is down. I feel like they are making more profit from declaring bankruptcy and making money from insurance.
Then sooner there is a newborn exchange and new CEO coming out but I believe the owner is still the old owner of the other exchange that recently declares bankruptcy. Look at the Poloniex.
2151  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Have anyone made a withdrawal from IQcent? on: November 14, 2022, 11:14:43 PM
How many months your friend didn't visit the site?

Is it your real friend? Or you just found this girl/man on the telegram?

Look at the domain age below

Quote
Domain:iqcent.pro
Registrar:Porkbun LLC
Registered On:2022-10-16
Expires On:2027-10-16
Updated On:2022-10-21
Status:clientDeleteProhibited
clientTransferProhibited
Name Servers:woz.ns.cloudflare.com
adel.ns.cloudflare.com

Are you sure that she is your friend?

And I never heard of any exchange or broker site that uses the .pro domain. They usually use .com and country-related domains.

So I think she's not your friend she might be just promoting the website or trying to ask help from you until she asks for a deposit amount to withdraw the money it is more likely a scam attempt.
2152  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Well some more bad news. Bitmain is not giving out promised coupons. on: November 14, 2022, 11:00:39 PM
I could also see the promotion on Google but after clicking it it seems they remove it. It looks like a falls promotion or maybe they have limited coupons available.

Well sent it out and hope to get a positive result from them.

Thank you.

They thought they could get a way. Let's see if they still giving out the coupon.
2153  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: Wrong tx number and balance for imported address on: November 14, 2022, 09:37:21 PM
Hi nc50lc, thanks for the clarification.
So, it's not Electrum which can't handle the many transactions, but it's the servers which aren't willing to provide a history that long, correct?
But still, I would have expected that Electrum let's the user know that there is a problem and, therefore, the shown values can't be trusted. Instead, as shown in the screenshot of my last post, everything seems to be fine from the GUI user's perspective (green ball in the lower right corner and no error message).

How about the transaction history tab do you see any transaction there?
If no then there maybe something that electrum is blocked syncing to any server.
I suggest try to switch to other server by clicking the green circle or change your device DNS to Google/Cloudflare DNS.
2154  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Blockfolio is Gone on: November 13, 2022, 11:41:39 PM
There are lots of crypto portfolio trackers right now just give sometimes to search on PlayStore. If you are lazy then you can use the other suggestion above but I'm currently using these trackers below for free.

- Coingecko app - it needs to register but it's free and most of the coins are listed there.
- CryptoMarketcap - using this for a long time for free and I like their widget.

Other tracker that you can check.

- Crypto Tracker Coin stats
- The Crypto app - Coin Tracker
2155  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Bitcoin mining at home on: November 13, 2022, 11:21:35 PM
I don´t want to spend a lot of money, something until 1k will be enough for me. However, I will think about it.

Can someone send me a tutorial (if there is any available) about a cheap mining equipment and how to set up the equipment?

If your purpose is for studying bitcoin mining and you don't want to spend much then go for Compact F USB miner the price of this miner I think is around 100-150$ in Amazon it's pretty cheap and you can find the guide below.

2156  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: Stop fans from going 100% at startup (Braiins OS+) on: November 13, 2022, 10:59:53 PM
I actually solved this issue with an external 12v fan controller. As soon as the PSU gets power the fans will spin at my chosen rate. If the miner gets to the „hot“ temperature set by me it will simply turn of instantly.

What OS do you currently using? Is it still Braiins or stock firmware?

Because if you revert to stock firmware without bypassing the fan check you will always get some error and the miner will not work properly. If Braiins then it still has an error fan so you still need to bypass or disable the fan check.
2157  Other / Off-topic / Re: Would you use this Twitter service? on: November 13, 2022, 03:04:13 PM
It's more likely the same as steemit a social media Dapp getting paid through posting, replying, voting, etc...

But I don't use such a thing. I heard that there is a group that can manipulate steemit just to earn a few cents.

Are you planning to create a new coin/token, and is this your strategy to distribute coins/tokens?

I don't know for other users if they are going to use it, but I believe there are a few people who will use that service/platform if it's worth their time.

Have you tried to use the magnifying glass above? To search about the guide how to setup this unit?

If not then I found few of them that you can try.

This one below is the simple setup guide.

Then other guide below using raspi or different OS

- https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5388678.0

Lets see which one will work. The last link is the newest setup that I found.

2159  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Here is my take on FTX case on: November 11, 2022, 11:58:55 PM
I think if the price of Bitcoin and Crypto drop a lot due to this news, maybe yes, they can solve the issue. Because I believe this is an inside job and they want to make profit(almost all companies want to profit).

And honestly, they already made a profit by just creating their tokens and selling them. And look why they didn't hire a professional security expert. How defenseless their website is? If they hire security experts, then it's impossible if they monitor their business 24/7, it won't happen unless if there is someone inside of the company wants to do it for the sake of profit.
2160  Bitcoin / Mining support / Re: ANTMINER S9 MESSAGE LOW HASHRATE CHIP on: November 11, 2022, 11:33:54 PM
i have 1800w power supply and set the OC to 1140w, i don't think the problem is due to that.

If it's not a PSU, it's a program since you use hiveos with autotune config.

Look at the error carefully; the hiveos is fixing it automatically for you don't need to do anything, but if you don't want to see the error, then manually set the frequency under chips config.
