2221  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 02, 2023, 10:06:12 PM
At least due to the fact that LeBron had the time advantage because he started his career at age 18, while future players must be at least 19 years old to enter the NBA draft.

Regardless of the age when Lebron enters the NBA draft, if compare to Kareem, the basis should be the number of seasons and games played. There's no time advantage or anything related to that.

Kareem played for 21 seasons with 1560 games.
Lebron is currently playing on his season 20 with 1407 games so far.

Lebron will be able to pass Kareem's total scoring points in 2 to 3 games.

I agree with you though that we might not see someone will break that record for at least 1-2 decades.

Yes, might be another decade or two for someone to break that record, Vince Carter played for like 22 seasons in the NBA but never got close to that scoring record. So it's a lot of factors, combination of them to be great to even get into the top 5 all time.

And now Lebron will be on top and no one can even, no active players. Maybe someone will break it, but it might take 20 or even 30 years even if the scoring average will increase.
2222  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin adoption growing stronger everyday on: February 02, 2023, 09:53:29 PM
I think Switzerland has been going cashless more many years now, and with the advent of bitcoin it makes sense that they will also be spearheading in in Europe. And their government is politically libertarian, so there should be no surprises as well as how they adopted bitcoin as compare to the other nations out there.

The city of Zug created their own identity on the public Ethereum network that gave them the power to sign and verify data.

And yes, Lugano stakes claim to become cryptocurrency capital of Europe.

I don't know if you guys have seen a video of Kell Brook snorting a powdery white substance in a table, this video has been all over the social media. And Brook admitted that the video is real and now issue a public apology.

He admitted that he has mental problems because he can't accept the fact that he has retired already and resorting to drugs.

Brook even hinted that he wanted to fight Liam Smith next after he defeated Eubank a couple of weeks ago. But with that video, I don't think that he will be given the chance. And regarding his mental health, it's real and everyone could be a victim, specially sports athlete.
2224  Economy / Gambling / Re: I accidentally deposited to self-excluded stake.com account. on: February 02, 2023, 09:04:17 PM
Like all the others I'll also advise you to ask for support about your issue because so far none of the members have experienced what you've experienced, update us so we'll also know if they will send the fund back or if you will have to wait for the self-exclusion to expire, I hope you did not self exclude yourself for a year.
This is a good topic it seldom happens but it really happens and this will become a reference for those who deposited then forgot they self-excluded themselves.

My account was self excluded for a year, 48 weeks left. Support told me that I have to wait for 48 weeks to be able to withdraw my funds. I guess I will wait Smiley

Yeah, but the time you got it, maybe ETH is already on a massive bull run,  Grin.

But in any case, still a long way to go mate, that's almost a year of waiting and hopefully you have the mental capacity to hang that long. Or maybe just forget about those in about a year? Instead of stressing yourself like everyday thinking about your money or even gambling again (if that cross your mind once you got back your money).

@coolcoinz - yeah, but you have to understand that as customers, we always good support not just from crypto industry. And with that, if they fail to deliver on our expectations, we will call them out.
2225  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 02, 2023, 11:13:18 AM
I can't believe the Warriors lost against the Timberwolves, they are getting sloppy with their plays. I know it's the right ones but it doesn't click well especially when Draymond expects their cuts and he just throws the ball out of nowhere where the cutter should be. It's been happening a lot of times, Steve Kerr should start strengthening at those parts, I bet they all see this in the tape and regrets their mistakes. A mountain of turnovers again.

Yeah, it destroyed my parlay, damn it, easy win by Boston while the Sixers needed everything they got to win against the Magic.

And one upset is Portland winning, and then GSW lost as well and the Suns losing by big margin.

Any idea though was the Pistons vs Wizards game are suspended? It's no longer listed in Stake? or I'm just missing something here?

According to @wojespn on twitter; It's said to be postponed due to some travel issues with the Pistons team flight out of Dallas to Michigan.

Ok, I was about to bet on that game for the Wizards and I was surprised that there are no listing on that game and saw that it is suspended.
2226  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hackers stole $3.8 billion from crypto investors (mainly through Defi) in 2022 on: February 01, 2023, 11:52:50 PM
And as much as we have been calling for this project to tighten up their code so that there will be no exploits, hackers are one step of the game. So yeah, definitely this might continue till they fix their bugs and everything.

Bu the toll has been taken, billions worth of money are being stolen by this cyber criminals in crypto.

And if I'm not mistaken, rouge nation such as North Korea are on the top, they even have dedicated group called Lazarus or APT to do this hackings from crypto exchanges to altcoin projects. So it's really a dangerous world out there. And as a investor, it's better to stay away or just focus your money on projects that are solid like Ethereum or Bitcoin.
2227  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: February 01, 2023, 11:34:10 PM
something I noticed when I went to research more information about this fight is that most of the comments on the news sites where they talk about this fight people are giving Naoya Inoue as the guy who will win this fight without much difficulty, some even believe that the Naoya Inoue will win even before reaching the 4th round, anyway I also think and I will bet on Naoya Inoue to win this fight. I saw that the fight could be in April, I saw it on this site:

By Craig Daly: Naoya Inoue and WBC & WBO super bantamweight champion Stephen Fulton are in the works for April, says promoter Bob Arum of Top Rank.

source: https://www.boxingnews24.com/2023/01/naoya-inoue-vs-stephen-fulton-possible-for-april-says-bob-arum/

to be honest I don't know how far this news can have some truth, maybe it's just speculation or intention to make the fight not be in May and be earlier something like in April, in short it's April or May the most important thing is that the fight happens

It's probably around that time frame, April-May will be perfect in Japan. Probably they all agree verbally about this fight specially Stephen before he go up in weight at 126 lbs. At least he is not going to vacate the title and then we will all will say that he duck the Naoya because he is afraid that he might lose in this fight.

Still far though, many things can happen along the way, but hopefully it can definitely happen and there will be no issues like the money or the venue or even if there is such a rematch clause. In short, no more stumbling block as we all are looking for this fight and excited to see Inoue again in the ring.
2228  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: really no kyc crypto casino on: February 01, 2023, 11:23:12 PM
Well im planing to deposit decent amount of eth and make sports bets, but i really prefer no kyc casino/sports bet.
Most of casinos that i tried with clearly wriitwn NO KYC still asks for docs even for 0.0002btc withdrawal.
Does anyone know normal no kyc casino without bs?
so far i tried vave.com , they are good,  but who knows what will happen if you withdraw more than 1k, maybe annoying kyc procedures will begin trough email.
Anyone tried cloudbet? or bitcoin.com games?

If you are talking about cloudbet, you can refer to their Ann thread here: Cloudbet | Bitcoin Casino & Sportsbook | The No.1 Bitcoin Gambling Site, maybe you can ask them your questions directly, although the official account hasn't been logging in, although I saw that the account has recently woke up, so they might answer your questions in that thread.

As for KYC, sad to say, almost all casinos now are going to require KYC as this have been mandated by regulators, specially if you are going to withdraw some money or if the casino itself deem it needed to ask for more info before proceeding with the withdrawal, maybe there is a red flag on their part.
2229  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin 12,000 in 2023. on: February 01, 2023, 11:13:56 PM
The price is currently around $23k and it seems hard to see a drop touching $12k, even when the bad times happened at the end of 2022 many believed that the price would continue to drop below $15k, but that didn't happen, and now the market is looking good and FUDs are getting less and less as prices go up, investors have forgotten about the FTX tragedy and it's time to see prices skyrocket again.
Now the price of Bitcoin is almost $24K even if you look at the market today. And this means that the potential upside for Bitcoin this year will far outweigh the downside because it may be true what you said that investors have started to forget about the tragedy that happened to FTX last year and with a little FUD also starting to have an impact on the increase in Bitcoin as traders are also starting to get excited again to continue buying and trading it as usual apart from holding it for some time.

Right, and if that scenario should have to take place bitcoin will have to go down -50% this year. I'm not saying that it is not possible, because it is. But the chances are very low as we look at the start of the year. Investors are very bullish about it and if we reach like in the $30k'ish in this bull run, that will be +50% of the lowest lows.

So we might have hit the lowest low already in this bear cycle, and the price for this year might play along the $30k-$40k range before the eventual bull run in 2024 (right after the block halving).
2230  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Figueroa vs Magsayo WBC Interim Featherweight Title (March 4) on: February 01, 2023, 10:45:30 PM
This is going to be a good match as they are #2 and #3 overall ranking for featherweight division and both are #1 in their country both is a great fighter and honestly I am not sure win who's gonna win in this match. Unfortunately I can't see where I can place bets to this match as they are not available on the market, maybe it will be available when the match is near though

Yeah, this is a 50-50 fight where it's hard to predict whose gonna win the fight but for sure Filipinos will be happy as their very own Mark Magsayo is back in the ring to take a chance to grab that WBC belt once again. They maybe have a contrasting style as Magsayo is known to be a KO artist while Figueroa is a volume puncher so this is another acid test for the Filipino slugger.

I am curious what's the odd of each fighter. Maybe you could add a gambling site where we can place bet?

I've browsed some sportbookies and unfortunately they have not yet placed any odds for this fight but rest assured that they will cover this one as the fight is approaching near.

Right, still 50/50 fight, and maybe if Figueroa will be the favorite, it's going to be small that we can say that it's going to be close. Brandon Figueroa is known to be a slow starter, just like in the Fulton fight. And it allowed Fulton to get some scores in the judges early and take the lead. But then he started to get hot in the middle going into full 12 rounds.

So this might be the biggest chance of Mark Magsayo, to used his power to get early and maybe look for the knockout. He needs a statement win here to be relevant in this division. So this is going to be exciting and it could be fight of the year candidate if it goes to the distance.
2231  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 01, 2023, 10:35:55 PM
I should have taken the handicap for the Bucks, but I'm fine with the results. Not as big, but it's a good start for this week, hehehe.
A good start indeed. I hope it continues and to me as well. It sucks to see many losing bets and I hate chasing losses, it adds stress.

9 games tomorrow guys, place your bets guys.
Detroit Pistons vs Washington Wizards - Washington Wizards (-5.5) Gafford is questionable to play. Although I think Kuzma, Porzingis, and Beal would suffice to beat the Pistons. The Wizards are hot at 6th winning streak. They have to continue to 7 and climb the ladder to the 8th spot of the East.

Memphis Grizzlies vs Portland Trail Blazers - Memphis Grizzlies (-5.5) After being defeated 5 times, Grizzlies gained their confidence back by defeating the Pacers, time to go back to winning more. Desmond Bane is questionable to play.

Boston Celtics vs Brooklyn Nets - Boston Celtics (-8.5) Simmons and Warren are out.

San Antonio Spurs vs Sacramento Kings - Sacramento Kings (-7.5) Kings all the way!

Minnesota Timberwolves vs Golden State Warriors - Golden State Warriors (-4.5) The Warriors are feeling it again, complete roster except for Iguodala who we know doesn't really play much even at a healthy status. Put Wiggins on Edwards and that will stop their offense.

I am thinking about combining the Orlando Magic ML into a small parlay to enhance the multiplied profits. It's risky but might be worth it if they win.
Good luck everyone.

I'll tail you in the Grizzlies vs Trail Blazers and Celtics vs Nets, I think both favorite team can beat their respective matches tonight + but then I will go with the Sixers are my parlay hehehe - @3.51. I'm thinking that Joel could explode early, unlike before wherein he was plague with foul trouble early that contributed to their loss against the Orlando Magic.

Any idea though was the Pistons vs Wizards game are suspended? It's no longer listed in Stake? or I'm just missing something here?
2232  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 01, 2023, 10:24:37 PM
118 lbs division is going to see a lot of fights for this year as Inoue has vacated all the belts.

And for Filipino fans out there, there are 3 in the hunt for the either of the 4 belts, Astrolabio, Gaballo and of course Nonito Donaire. Each will fight for the belt no doubt about it.

Vincent Astrolabio-Emmanuel Rodriguez was ordered already by the IBF

Donaire vs Moloney by WBC although Moloney show intention not to pursue the fight. So Donaire will have to look for someone to fight for the WBC

Moloney though might look for Reymart Gaballo for WBO belt.

So it's going to be exciting for Filipino boxing fans once more as we could add another champion in the list before the end of the year.
(Worst case scenario, 3 of them lost,  Angry)
2233  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: February 01, 2023, 10:14:16 PM
As for the venue, they are talking about 3 possibilities, (a) MGM Grand Garden Arena, (b) T Mobile Arena, and (c) Allegiant Stadium.

So they are all in Las Vegas, the gambling capital so expect a lot of money going to flow not only in this fight, but in the casino's surrounding it. There has hasn't been a boxing event in Allegiant Stadium, the home of Las Vegas Raiders who reported to have a sitting capacity of 70,000.

MGM has 20,000 and T Mobile Arena 17,000 sitting capacity.

So let's wait till the final contract has been signed and if they are looking to sit more boxing fans, Allegiant Stadium might be the good choice here.
2234  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Nonito Donaire vs Jason Moloney on: February 01, 2023, 09:59:39 PM
Update:

Jason Moloney has withdraw from this fight, so this fight is cancelled.

Quote
“The WBC has received confirmation from Top Rank that [Moloney] will not be fighting for The WBC bantamweight title,” WBC president Mauricio Sulaiman confirmed to the teams for both boxers via official letter, a copy of which was obtained by BoxingScene.com. “With this letter the process of [Moloney] vs Donaire is hereby cancelled."

https://www.boxingscene.com/jason-moloney-top-rank-no-longer-pursue-wbc-title-nonito-donaire-awaits-next-named-opponent--172190

Too bad for Moloney to not have a chance for the belt because of the 'war' between his promoter Top Rank and Nonito's Probellum.

Because Bob Arum thinks that the company, Probellum has ties with Irish Mob boss Daniel Kinahan. So let's see what route Donaire will take in order to have another belt in his waist.
2235  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 01, 2023, 09:47:51 PM
Crazy ending to that Lakers game. LeBron got another chance to get a game winner but this time he passed the ball to Anthony Davis who then committed an offensive foul which ended up with the game going to overtime. They still won and LeBron moved a little closer to the record. Westbrook seemed to get a lot of crunch time minutes as well.

That was a lucky break for the Knicks, it's just that their last play was not planned well, I think it should be Brunson who should take the last shot as he is hot in that game, for sure if he missed it, he might get a foul. I don't understand why it was Randle who took the last shot.

Randle, as I observed him, he wanted to be the go-to guy of the team. I also consider that it should be Brunson to take that last
shot as he got a much better percentage, and he's not new in carrying a team.

Remember when Luka was out during the semis against the Sun's this man really help the team to win games and not to allow
Suns to take advantage of them.
When Brunson was still with the Dallas Mavericks, it was Randle who is the go to guy, unfortunately he is not a clutch player that's why they struggle in the playoffs. I think it's always the coach decision that has to be followed, the fact that he took the last shot, the design of play was probably on him.

But nothing that can be changed now, good to see that Lakers wins might be another controversial missed call.

I believe it was not a missed call, it's an offensive foul by the Davis, was challenge and the challenge was unsuccessful.

Probably, that was a call from coach Thibodeau because he wanted Randle to take the shot to see if how well he is in handling the pressure, you know just to see if he had some changes while they are still playing in regular games as it's better to know first who are the players that will be reliable enough when situations got tough because I reckon not all the time Brunson will be with the team and healthy.

But if you look at the game, Randle is not shooting very well, and that is why he is being criticize in this game. So not sure if this is a good play for coach Thibodeau to give Julius the ball and obviously Lakers know where it is going as he was double team in that last play.

Might be a better option for Brunson though, but it is what it is. Lakers escape with a big victory and Lebron is closing on that record.

Lots of game in for tonight, 76ers vs Magic might be very interesting and see if Magic can repeat it again.
2236  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 01, 2023, 07:17:44 AM
^^ Yeah, seems everyone is on board winning the Nuggets game.

I skipped the other day, take a off from betting and posting from this community. And then I just put a conservative bet in tonight's game, (kinda late putting it our time, Grin)

I should have taken the handicap for the Bucks, but I'm fine with the results. Not as big, but it's a good start for this week, hehehe.

2237  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Deontay Wilder versus Andy Ruiz Title Eliminator on: January 30, 2023, 11:53:43 PM
Just to be fair with Andy Ruiz, he is a rank in the Heavyweight division,

#2 by WBC
#3 by IBF
#1 by WBO

Only in WBA that he is not even in the rankings for unknown reason. And on the other hand, Filip Hrgovic and Andy Ruiz was ordered by the IBF to fight for the interim belt. So it's kinda crazy that this body is ordering mandatories and they have a lots of title like the regular belt holder and then the interim, hehehe.

It's only for an interim belt. He can always just refuse it as well. Ruiz will probably take the bigger fight which is Wilder as it obviously comes with a shot at Fury should if he win as well. I don't think this is going to be a good fight for Ruiz. Wilder will destroy him, though I guess if he beat AJ anything is possible but Wilder is far more dangerous than AJ in my opinion. Not sure what's going on with this fight but I'd love to see Wilder against Fury again. He's going to want revenge and I seriously think losing to Fury has changed Wilder.

Yes, he might refused and go with Ruiz for the title eliminator, and maybe there are more money here as compare to fighting the likes of Filip Hrgovic for the interim belt.

Not sure, but maybe Fury would like a 3rd fight with Wilder and then destroy Deontay again. Yes, since his lost, he had to take tune up fights to bring his confident back. But maybe when he faces Fury again for a trilogy, that flashes of the 2nd fight will be at this mind again and the result could be same. That is the thing with Fury, he can beat you with his mind games even before the actual fight and that's what he did against Wilder.
2238  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: January 30, 2023, 11:43:43 PM
I don't understand why until today, the league is not giving any suspension order on that ref.
Me either, I'm wondering why sanction hasn't been placed on Eric Lewis. Yeah, the referee that everyone wouldn't condone for the decision he made of not giving a call.

I'm starting to think that the management of Celtics is too close or powerful for the NBA management to just disregard of what everyone is talking about against him.

Later, it's going to be Nets and Lakers without Lebron and AD.

Ok thanks for the name, and there are data showing that since 2020, he referee the Boston games 38 times, 36-2 for the Celtics hehehe. So the next time Eric Lewis referee a game and it involves the Celtics, we know where to bet.  Grin

Similar to CP3 and Scott Foster as a referee, 0-14 straight-up in the last 14 playoff games Foster has officiated.

Others say that he is not closed to where the action is so he can't blew the whistle, perhaps not suspended, but referees need to be evaluated from time to time if they made a lousy officiating, just saying.
2239  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there gambling games/sports that suits a particular gender the more? on: January 30, 2023, 11:20:37 PM
Just like TV station shows, where we have certain shows or movie series that are designated or referred to by some set of people are feminine shows or series. For example, in my own part of the world where I come from, TV station like Telemundo, Telnovelas etc. They're mostly regarded as TV stations meant for the feminine.
Now bringing this home as it concerns gambling, I ask, you as a gambler are there gambling games or sports that you think that such gambling games or sports are supposed to be mostly engaged in by a particular gender (as it suits such gender more),  and why?
Mind you am not saying that gambling is gender-centric in anyway.

Nah, I don't think there is a gender specific games, all our equal when you play poker with friends, or when you sit at a barracat table or in a blackjack. Same with slot game, maybe there is a theme that suit others more but I do believed that the difference is very small.

And just like when we hear women winning lotto as well. I think it's more of the psychology of gambling per se, as humans we are all attracted to that one thing we have in our minds, that is just to win big when we play regardless of what kind of games we play and our gender.
2240  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you consider spreading FUD to be unethical? on: January 30, 2023, 11:09:22 PM
We hear it all the time in the news and even here on this forum - Scary price drop speculations based completely on fake/exaggerated news or on something without any kind of substance.

While we can all agree that panic selling is newbie domain, there are also veterans who love spreading Fear, Uncertainty and Doubt. These are the people who know from experience that the Bitcoin price will definitely rise, but they can't resist buying discount BTC off of panic sellers.

Bear-whales and smaller traders alike spread FUD for the reason of scaring investors and pushing down the Bitcoin price.

Do you consider this FUD-spreading unethical or do "shaky hands" get what they deserve?

Since the market is open for everyone, heck even can be traded across the globe 24x7, I don't consider this kind FUD-spreading as unethical. We really need to be careful on what we read and hear even in this community. We have to digest every bit of it, whether there is some truthfulness on what they say, or it's simply FUD that we can smell it from a far.

So with that, we all have the responsibility, after all it's our hard earn money so we need to be very careful here and not just to blindly trust some posts or some crypto related news online.
