Ramirez first weigh in is 187 lbs, and then in the second, it was 182.6 lbs, so someone really forget that they have to trim to 175 lbs isn't it? On the other hand, Rosado first weigh in just below the limit at 173 lbs.

And on the Diaz vs Gesta fight, Diaz come in overweight as well,  139.4 lbs in a lightweight limit. Gesta too was heavy at 137.2 lbs but for sure there will be some changes in their contract as this fight will proceed as the main event now.

https://www.boxingscene.com/gilberto-ramirez-i-embarrassed-upset-by-my-actions-promise-this-never-happen-again--173177

Maybe Ramirez should fight at CW moving forward hehehe.
1602  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 18, 2023, 08:44:39 PM
Almost but now quite for my Warriors bet and parlay. I watch it specially in the 4th and I really think that their chances to win at very high. Atlanta is missing their shots and free throws too.

But the problem is that the Warriors seem to be tired of playing defense and catching up with the Hawks. They trim it to 2 or 3 points, but they failed to make the go ahead basket as they missed their favorite shot, the three point that could really turn the tide in their favor. Steph Curry is really pissed off by now on how the teams are turning in the last games on the regular season.

I'm looking at the Sacramento Kings line vs the Wizards. It seems though that the handicap is not yet listed on Stake for unknown reasons.

Edit: -4.5 for the Kings @1.89
1603  Economy / Economics / Re: The impact of artificial intelligence, chat GPT on the crypto market. on: March 17, 2023, 11:59:04 PM
No I don't think that there will be a solution for hackers, it's a crime group, we even have state sponsored hackers like the Lazarus group, so it's a organization that simply can't be stop just because AI is full blown right now or even the latest buzz word in crypto.

And there will be no policing whatsoever that is going to happen here.

Of course we love AI but I don't see it as the breakthrough that will stop cyber criminals. They are going to evolved as well and will find ways to step the game. And as we all know, they are always ahead and no matter projects have this so called 3rd party to evaluate their code or even AI to help them find any flaws, still this group will just bounce around and found loopholes that can be exploited, in my opinion.
1604  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: March 17, 2023, 11:48:59 PM
It is absolutely crazy to me that half the people in this thread voted for Thurman to beat Spence.
This is going to be one of the biggest mismatches we've seen.
Thurman can't take body shots, he hates fighting at a fast pace and I don't think he can fight in the pocket particularly well.
I have researched this fight extensively and I can't see one way that Thurman beats Spence.
I think Spence stops Thurman in the 9th round.

I have the same observation that Thurman might get KO'ed in this fight since he is weak against body punches which Spence can take advantage of.  But on the contrary, Thurman is also a knockout puncher.  There is also a possibility that Thurman might find some weaknesses in Spence and beat Spence with them.

In a fight between two knock-out punchers, anything might happen.  So even though I think Spence has a huge advantage in this fight, I never ignore the fact that Thurman is also a good boxer and has the capability to KO his opponent.

Yeah, what we call a "puncher's chance", if Spence will lose his concentration in this fight, even for just one, maybe Thurman will slip his best punch and caught Spence. Just like what happen to his fight against Ugas, there were momentarily slip and Ugas take advantage of it and Spence almost goes down.

Here is the clip: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DI8PcDQ6ZiY

So who knows, on the other hand, Spence is a good body puncher too, and we have seen that Thurman doesn't want to get hit on the body. He grimaces in pain and move back, like in the Pacquiao fight.

1605  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: March 17, 2023, 11:32:44 PM

Tank Davis also mentioned in interviews that Ryan has earn his place already and he deserved to face him. (Whatever he means by that, it's open for interpreration), maybe moving forward he is going to be selective of his opponents or whoever he wants to face for the money.

Maybe he thinks he is the king and Ryan Garcia is just the top challenger for him. However, that's still underestimating his opponent because despite both being champs, Davis sees himself on a higher level. I hope Ryan Garcia will prove Davis wrong and show him that his current thoughts are incorrect.
There are top challengers are well, we obviously have the champion in Devin Haney. But it seems that this two are really destined to fight each other, for the respect and obviously for the money itself.

So it's time for ticket scalpers again, Lol, for sure there are fans willing to spend that huge money to pay underground even if the price could be x2 as what @bbc.reporter pointed out.

Absolutely mate tank Davis believe himself that he is the king of his division. And without a doubt we can say that it because what we saw his previous matches he proves to us that he is tank Davis the real champion and no one can beat him up. But in this juncture Ryan Garcia bring himself to the ring and want to say that he can defeat Tank Davis even if not in a knockout but at least he will win. And the best question for this is can Tank Davis will win or Ryan Garcia will overtake The tank .

That is the big question for now, but looking at the advantages and chances, surely Tank Davis have those edge because he has faced quite a lot of good boxers already which developed his instincts inside the ring. Nevertheless, Ryan Garcia is still the kind of boxer that is not good to be underestimated with because even if he's not that experienced compared to the champion, his left hook is vicious enough to upset any champions as long as he can cleanly land it. Fortunately, I think Tank Davis is not underestimating his challenger and isn't taking any risks as well that can make him at the disadvantageous side.

Both know the stakes are high in this fight, so there is no underestimating from both camp, for now it's all mind games, trying to get into one skins with trash talking like Davis saying that Ryan doesn't have the mentality to become great or even attacking him with his beef with Canelo. On the other hand, Garcia too went to the extend of telling us the rehydration clause or even verbally abusing Tank on the clothes he were during their initial face-off. So for now we will hear about those kind of trash talking between the two and see who is going to blink first.

On the other hand, they are training very hard for this fight in the background and as we all know, Ryan possesses such a vicious left hook. Why Davis power is un-match in this division.
1606  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I won 500$ on Stake on a blackjack (in 1 minute) on: March 17, 2023, 11:22:25 PM
Congrats, that a huge win in just a 1 minute, however, I don't think we need to follow you, just put your bet here instead, specially if you are into sport betting. As obviously we can't always follow you on like betting in a black jack or any card games.

And as @robelneo said, majority of gamblers whether offline or online just like to let everyone knows of their big wins.

But on the other hand, they might have lost more than they win in their gambling activities.
1607  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo Alvarez vs John Ryder - May 6th in Mexico on: March 17, 2023, 10:53:55 PM
@mirakal - yes we can look it that way, but maybe it's the fault of the governing body that they have a interim champion that we didn't know and probably it's because Canelo is the cash cow and wanted more name fighters and thinks that Ryder doesn't deserved it. But Canelo doesn't have a choice now, he is coming from an injury and this is the right time to give Ryder his chance, beat him and remove that interim title for him.

@goldkingcoiner - Cinco de Mayo is a big holiday celebrated by the Mexicans, and in boxing, it is usually a "fight week" for Mexicans like Oscar Dela Hoya and now Canelo Alvarez, but it doesn't mean that the date of the fight itself is exactly held in May 5th, just saying.
1608  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: March 17, 2023, 10:42:09 PM
At this point , Kings wining the West is not a dream anymore right ? I know the chances are low and most likely it won't happen but still , this is maybe the best season they had in the last 15 years of franchise and they do have a team that could go deep in play offs.   Smiley

However , for me , Bucks are still the best and strongest team in the NBA , followed closely by Celtics who are having another phenomenal season that could end with another NBA final.

Absolutely the best season they have from the last 17 years I say, as the Sacramento Kings last playoffs appearance was in 2006 led by Mike Bibby and Kevin Martin. The 2023 Kings will most probably going to finish with the best record than the 2006. However, there is a huge difference in a regular season and a playoff game. Most inexperienced team that gets to the playoffs are most likely not going to go to the finals. The Sacramento Kings might be one of them, but this is definitely going to be the start of their long journey to get a ring, as long as they will take care of their stars and young talents.

And that might be the thing that's going to hold against them, they don't have the experience in the playoff. So we will see which team they are going to face in the first round. It's going to be a a series obviously, so it's very different from regular games. And we also seen multiple upsets in playoffs. We don't want them to be the new Utah Jazz, very good at regular season and then because of their lack of experienced, they easily lost in a playoff series.

And if we talk about the MVP race, Kia MVP Ladder: Joel Embiid overtakes Nikola Jokic for No. 1 spot.

1. Joel Embiid, Philadelphia 76ers
2. Nikola Jokic, Denver Nuggets
3. Giannis Antetokounmpo, Milwaukee Bucks
4. Jayson Tatum, Boston Celtics
5. Luka Doncic, Dallas Mavericks
1609  Economy / Speculation / Re: The BTC deep continues for the next SIX Months. on: March 17, 2023, 10:28:12 PM
And that's why we really don't listen to newbies post saying that BTC will be dead in the next 6 months hehehe.

With all on what is happening in the US and the UE bailing out banks, printing money and QE, history is repeating itself and as a result Bitcoin is pumping so hard that it goes and breach the biggest barrier at $25k and now it become our support level now. So it's just a question on what will be the price for this month? Can we finally see $30k at least (before seeing a sell out because for sure, this round numbers might be the numbers that people are looking to sell and make profit specially those who buy at $15k-$17k when we are down around November).
1610  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: March 17, 2023, 10:16:42 PM
If he will manage to take this one away from the monster, it is surely a good start to move up and
challenge the current champ on his chosen division.

Actually, I want to see Stephen Fulton having a rematch with a much-improved Brandon Figueroa in the 126 after this match against Naoya Inoue. I'm sure Fulton won't bother to stay at 122 anymore regardless of the result of this match as that was already his original plan and it's just timing that Inoue decided to move up.

I also think Fulton is not considering having possibility of a unification match against his fellow title holder at 122 lbs, Murodjon Akhmadaliev which has a scheduled title defense against a Filipino, Marlon Tapales next month. He is surely want to moved up weight no matter what.

Can't wait to see the result of this match and how it will change the current phase of the Super Bantamweight division.

If Stephen Fulton loses against Naoya Inoue, it might not be good timing for him because Figueroa won recently vs. Mark Magsayo for the WBC featherweight interim championship. Fulton should win 1 fight in featherweight before he can argue for a challenge against Figueroa.

Has anyone created a thread for Murodjon Akhmadaliev vs. Marlon Tapales already? We should watch this next fight of Inoue's next opponent after Fulton hehehe.

As far as I can remember the fight should be next month between Akhmadaliev vs Tapales. But there is no betting line yet in our favorite crypto sport bookies. This is a good fight as well, we all know that when a Filipino gets into the ring, it's going to be exciting, hehehe. But there is no hype between the two and maybe that's why there are no line yet.

Yeah, probably the winner will be next in line against Inoue, two belts are also on the line on that fight as Akhmadaliev is the IBF & WBA champion and Tapales is rank on those organizations, 9th and 1st respectively.
1611  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 17, 2023, 10:06:18 PM
Tomorrow, we have Warriors +3 against Hawks, is Warriors ML worth taking?
The +3 is actually not enough. First, the Warriors are playing terribly in their road games. Second, Draymond Green is suspended. Finally, the Hawks stars are all present. If I am going to take the Warriors bet here then I'd rather risk it all in the ML. But, how I wish they put more money on that line because of the high risk.

I did, hehehe, putting ML on Warriors and then adding Sixers ML too for a parlay. I just had to bet on the Warriors as they really needed a win and this will be a big test for them if they still have it with theam.

Sixers is on a winning streak, but to make it easy on me, just ML as well, Lol, most important is them winning and probably watch the game between Warriors and the Hawks later. and cheer for my bet  Grin. And speaking of them, Joel now is on top of the ladder for the MVP race, so it's going to be interesting, him, Jokic and Giannis all going out in the last remaining games this regular season.
1612  Economy / Gambling / Re: No bet is a waste on: March 17, 2023, 09:55:23 PM

Yes that's right mate all gamblers in the world of gambling want to hit a jackpot as we all know how we feel if we are in the winner's place. I've not experience yet about hitting the jackpot but what I experienced is that I won a big amount and it's like that I am hitting a jackpot and how much more if we gonna hit the jackpot. But for me I'll play for fun and not for sustain. If I will win then thats good but if I failed and loss then I will learn.
It is true that gambling should be done only for fun, not even used as a place of livelihood, it will destroy us if we make gambling as a livelihood. I usually gamble to fill my free time when I am resting from work and getting rid of fatigue after work. And if I'm not doing it for fun then I'm going to be more stressful for it. But still even if it's just having fun, we should know the limits and not try to go beyond them.

I will tend to agree but we couldn't discount the fact that many gamblers are also looking to make money, maybe they really need it or if someone just spend some money and win and go home to his family to bring that money, it's really hard to say what's everyone intention now. So yeah, it might not be a waste because that's what gambling is, we take the risk with our money, and we wanted to win, maybe hit the jackpot or lotto and make our life easier. We've heard so many stories about this one, from rag to riches, and on the contrary, horror stories two of individual losing all their money to gambling because they can't control themselves. But it's human nature though, since the introduction of gambling, we play we want fun, but at the end of the day, it's all about betting and hoping that we can win big.
1613  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Referral bonuses are waste of time on: March 17, 2023, 09:43:09 PM

think that as long as you'll stick to the reputable casinos you're safe. Affiliate marketing can bring you some serious profit but as in every job you have to work hard and you need some marketing talent. Can't just sit and wait for conversions.  Roll Eyes
Yes, affiliate marketing can be a means of generating a passive income most especially when it's done with reputable casinos that reward the efforts and activities of the members in their affiliate program.

We have seen a good number of casinos that engage marketers to promote their brand and get new players registered under the link, and through this, they generate passive income.

I'm not sure though if you can call it passive income because there is a lot of work behind being an affiliate of some casinos. Sure some of the campaigns here will allow you to just insert your referral link and that is good, but how many gamblers can you get out of it? And so there are also aggressive style of really going after them, so you look for those sites that are more into gambling and try to spread your affiliate link, but still that formula might not work as you really have to engage to them and maybe answers queries yourself about the casino that you are promoting. So there's a lot of legwork and if by chance the casino is not going to pay you as what the OP describe, then yeah, you might have wasted not just time but also money in your effort to get some gamblers to sign under you.
1614  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: March 17, 2023, 09:33:43 PM
And so WBC ordered a fight between Ugas and Barrios for the interim belt. Ugas is rank 2, while Barrios is rank 5. Thurman is rank 1 and will be fighting the champion in Spence, however it's 154 lbs.

So not sure why WBC ordered such fight for the interim belt, maybe they know that Spence will go up in weight if he wins against Thurman. On the other hand, Barrios has just like 2 fights in this division, lost to Thurman and then won against a unknown boxer. There is also rank 3 and 4 boxers in their organization, but they were bypass by Mario here, and then Ugas who did lost to Spence in his last fight.

In my case, I'm not also sure why these governing bodies keep on ordering such fights for the interim belts to have interim champs when in-fact they are not giving the champions a mandatory title defense especially in the welterweight. They should just focus on giving the existing champions a mandatory title defense because the division is already stacked up at the moment, we have lots of good boxers that is not yet given a chance to be a champion because they are just letting the title holders to keep the belts for a long time while ducking some fights. And now another fight for an interim belt? That's just nonsense, IMO.

This is common for the most corrupt sanctioning bodies in boxing, the WBA and WBC. They focus on monetary gains rather than imposing what is right. I feel like the WBC is riding PBC's dick and giving Spence that VIP treatment. Interims are supposed to be held only when the champion has a legit reason not to fight like an injury. Garbage Barrios is all of a sudden in the rankings in order to facilitate an all-PBC fight with Ugas which is easier to make rather than make deal with the non-PBC #4 Souleymane Cissokho. These sanctioning bodies are disrespecting the effort of other fighters that worked hard in order to climb the rankings. What a shame.

True, Sulaiman started it and so other sanctioning bodies follow suit with their own set of champions, we have Diamond champions, Interim, Champion in recess - I mean a champion that cannot defend his belt for unknown reasons, well the obvious choice is that he should be stripped right? Lol, but not, he is still a champion by not defending his belt, so that's how f**k up WBC is.

That's why I question the Barrios vs Ugas hehehe, and then they leave the other ranking boxers, they will fight it out though and maybe the winner will have the face the Barrios vs Ugas winner? But why not get the 1 vs 2 for the interim belt? doesn't really make any sense but to push either Barrios or Ugas to be the next so called 'interim' champion or become the regular champion is Spence goes to 154 lbs.
1615  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC, more closer bullish days ahead. on: March 17, 2023, 01:50:51 PM
A good thing and it makes us wonder because the price can rise when many predict that a bear market will occur throughout 2023, today the price has reached $ 26k and according to many people's predictions that when the psychological price of $ 25k can be reached, the price will continue to rise, and I'm getting more and more confident that March prices could reach at least $32k.

At least the biggest barrier of $25k which I have been preaching that it needs to be broken first before we think of another price is finally broken and now that we are able to maintain it, is a good sign. Yeah, why not go for $32k if we can? I mean the price did touch $27k already and this is the highest price we got since November. And so the range could be $28k - $32k might be the range for this month if the bullish sentiments are going to continue.

Very happy because today the price has risen more than 6% and this week has gone up more than 32%, positive notes continue to make bitcoin more and more showing signs of recovery, I'm sure many are panic buying because they see prices continue to rise, and today of course many are tempted to sell, but I'm pretty sure we can sell for $30k or so next week.

Who wouldn't be happy to see another major surge in prices, and when we thought that March is going to be on the lowest side, now it's becoming to be the continuation of a bullish year since the start of 2023. And so with that, let's be positive, $30k or more at the end and let the green dildo continue in the market. Not tempted to sell though, others should HODL and wait till the price hits 6 digit, just saying.
1616  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Physical gambling and internet gambling which is more fun. on: March 17, 2023, 01:26:44 PM
As what @Solosanz said, it's more of a PvP (Player vs Player), so of course there is this element of interaction and obviously it is going to be more fun. But if you are comparing like going to physical casinos vs playing online, it's really up to the individual itself.

There are people who prior to the advent of online casinos, would rather play and go to traditional base casinos to play, insert their money on a slot machine, or sit on a table for a baccarat or black jack, or roll a dice in a craps game. And so it's more fun as there are also other gamblers that you might know in that casino or even had talks with the dealer itself.

Or just stay at home, at the comfort of your living room or bed room, deposit some crypto and then play live roulette as if you are in the casinos. Or just slot games or sports betting.

So tuloy parin to, hanggang may mai-take down na naman in the future. So ganun din sa tingin ko ang proceso nito at baka magkaroon din ng bagong paraan para ma mix ang coins at hindi tayo masunduan.

I hope Ryan Garcia will prove Davis wrong and show him that his current thoughts are incorrect.

Probably he thinks that both of them are in the top of the division although they don't really have the belt since Haney has everything under his waist. But as far as being the biggest crowd drawer in the 135 lbs, yeah, this two are on top.

So props for them to set up this fight when they are still in their prime, not when they are old and the hype are gone already.

Both are hungry and going to put their 0 on the line.

this is the good thing about this fight, both wanted this fight especially for garcia. however, don't know what will happen next if garcia loses to davis. his career may be put on hold and look for other top boxers to fight with.
in any case, i can understand if garcia is the underdog here. most forum users are also rooting for davis to win this fight.

He is still very young though, maybe a lost won't hurt him that much. It might take some time to bounce back though, but if he has that mentality then he can go back to the limelight again. Just like what happen to Teo Lopez when he lost Kambosos, we all know how loud and brandish Teo that time, then suddenly Kambosos took his soul and take all his belt. And it takes Lopez at least a year to go back again and fight. But this time he decided to move up in weight in 140 lbs, won fights and now will be fighting for the belt. So I will assume that Garcia is going up in weight as well, he has been fighting at 140 lbs or close to it before this 136 lbs catch weight with Tank Davis.
1619  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: March 16, 2023, 10:41:58 PM
Heard that Denver Nuggets are on a slump and have lost four of their last games played. And Jokic might be out of the MVP race if they don't start getting to those winning ways soon.
So their game against a very poor Detroit Pistons team tonight. This a must win and the odds are heavily in their favor for a comeback to be in the winning category again.
I think will go for a -13.5 for the Nuggets tonight.
Watched Pistons play the other day and they were disorganized and very young players on their starting lineup due to so many injuries to their main squad.

His closest competitor will be Giannis and Joel if I'm not mistaken, and maybe there could be change of hearts as far as voting goes if Jokic can't put this regular season on a winning note, L-4 on their standing, right now, not looking good.

The Lakers lost absolutely killed me last night. That is the biggest parlay bet I’ve had go wrong to date. I was four points away from having a major celebration but instead it’s nothing but tears this morning. I joke, but seriously that was a heartbreaking loss to one of the worst teams in the league and they really needed that win to be back to .500.

Yeah, that Lakers lost though, hehehe, I just even had them at -1.5, just enough, but still they fell short to one of the worst team when they should be winning that to put themselves in a good position. Now they are going to scramble in this last few games and it might not be in their hands as to what position they will be at the end of the regular season.
