I was following this OwL site and OWLDAO gambling token but why they have locked their thread ?

🦉 Owl.games 🦉 Web 3.0 Crypto Casino & Sportsbook - BTC-Metamask-Walletconnect

Is everything OK regarding their site and token?

The owl.games online casino site continues to work, if you look at the site's traffic, more than half of the users are from Spain, the rest are mainly from North America, the average attendance is 30,000 per month. As for the OWL token, it is also alive, although the trades do not have such a large volume.
That's what owl is.if they left the forum, then this should show their attitude to the community, or maybe they just considered it not productive.

This is the biggest crypto gambling base casinos and it's a wrong decision to leave this community, locking their thread doesn't help as well.

And the accusations are piling up so it's not good for them, they started good though, not sure what happen to them and specially that they have their token, they should at least answers here.

Nevertheless, it's their decision to close their ANN thread and we can't do anything about it.
1862  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Eimantas Stanionis vs Vergil Ortiz Jr - April 29 on: February 19, 2023, 06:07:44 AM
Here is Vergil Ortiz highlights, knock out of all of his opponents,

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EwSzeQzgLfI

Obviously, you can see and even hear the power when it touches his opponents whether on face or in the body. The way he punch them though in the body is very different, it's like a straight right, not the one that we usually show like a left hook to the body. And I think the straight might be more devastating because his opponents will usually take a knee and can't get up in time.
1863  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 19, 2023, 05:34:01 AM
Mac McClung took home the dunk contest trophy and rightfully so. He also had the dunk of the night with a 720 which was absolutely ridiculous. That was easily the best dunk since Aaron Gordon’s under the legs over the mascot dunk. This year’s contest was a big step up from last year’s. Hopefully next year we get to see Zion Williamson do something special…

Mac McClung has "save the Dunk Contest", lol, the last time we have this kind of noises in the crowd is of course the Zach Lavine vs Aaron Gordon. But Mac is a different breed coming from G-league, who steal the show and make a name for him himself in this year's Dunk contest.

Malone though, his scoring all throughout the competition,  Grin

Hopefully he will have a good season in this second half of the NBA as he was just acquired by the Sixers.

I do hope that you have watch the fight between Nery vs Hovhannisyan because it was really a war that everyone is expecting of this fight. Nery was so tired in the fight but he was able to weathered by storm by stopping Azat out in the 11th round. Round 10 was a war, Nery dropping Hovhannisyan in an 8 count.

And with this win, I think he is in the position for a Inoue vs Fulton war and this is what he wanted, during his post fight interview.

In the other co-main event, WBA Continental Americas Super Middle champ Shane Mosley, Jr defeated Mario Lozano in 10 rounds.
1865  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: February 18, 2023, 11:56:54 PM

Pero kelangan ng NBA na gumawa ng bagong format so team Lebron or team Giannis naman for this year.
1866  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Figueroa vs Magsayo WBC Interim Featherweight Title (March 4) on: February 18, 2023, 11:43:17 PM
So far the result of the poll, there are many Magsayo believers here the poll is not even close Magsayo has a wide edge against Figueroa, lets's see what the odds will be in sports casinos if Magsayo will be a clear favorite but based on both fighters' records and style of fighting it's going to be a very close fight as both fighters badly need this win to keep their title campaign alive.

Don't rely much on any boxing poll here especially involving a PH boxer because most boxing enthusiasts came from PH. Whether a PH boxer is up against an obvious strong opponent or not, the PH community will always be biased toward their fellow countrymen to show support.

Technical analysis-wise, Brandon Figueroa is a real threat to Magsayo. Even though he doesn't have any experience yet fighting at 126, he has the advantage that Magsayo is not used to fighting. I'm referring to Figueroa's height and reach. Magsayo is not that used to fighting an opponent like that and the first one he fought with that trait is Rey Vargas whom he lose.

Experience-wise though, Magsayo surely knows that he is up against something big. They already know what to do and what's left is how to execute it.

Ph boxers have huge supporters here not just for Filipinos but because we know that like Manny they are always determined to win and always eager to prove themselves in the ring.
Magsayo has losses in his past matches and it will surely be another challenge for him to beat Figueroa who is also a strong opponent. He must grab his chance to make a firm name in the industry. He should know how to counter Figueroa's moves who is also an aggressive fighter.

It's going to be a huge challenge for him, it's a step up, and I would say that this could be more tougher than Rey Vargas fight. In here he has the pressure now to make a statement win and the boxer that he is going to fight is really relentless in his attack and believed that he can beat Magsayo.

So this is very important for his Filipino fans, to show that he is still one of the best 126 lbs. This is another ticket for him and could he his second reign to become a featherweight king.
1867  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 18, 2023, 11:29:12 PM
Luis Nery is younger at age 28. 33 wins, 25 KOs, and 1 loss.
Azat Hovhannisyan is 34 years old. 21 wins, 17 KOs, and 3 losses.
Nery had more bouts experience even at his young age. Will definitely bet for him on this fight. He is also the favorite to win. I just wish he learned that mistake from the fight against Figueroa where he was defeated with a body shot. Strengthening his body will be a big plus for him from now on.
To be fair I do not think that there is much you can do to train when you receive a perfect left hook to the liver, it is like a regular KO in which if you are hit at the perfect spot on the chin you are going down no matter what you do, I have a friend which was a former boxer and I once asked him what was worse if being KO by being punched on the chin or the liver? And he said the liver hands down, since when you are KO by a punch on the chin everything disconnects, your head could ring and you may have headaches but it is bearable, however when you are KO by a punch on the liver you feel all the pain to the point you cannot even move and you will pee blood for days.

So here is the weigh in video:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vUL8XD1pLP0

Hovhannisyan - 121.6 lbs
Nery - even at 122 lbs

No trash talking, but it seems both just wanted to end their fight very quick. And although Hovhannisyan is 34 years old, I think he can still pull the trigger and give Nery here a good fight.

I agree mate, a punch in the liver is hard to recover, the pain in sends to your whole body is very different. What makes it very painful as compare to being knockout is that you are aware on what's happening to you but you can response to the pain. As compare to a knock out wherein once you taste the canvass, it's just lights out, no excruciating pain that will last even for 5 bloody minutes with a perfect liver shot, you are just on the floor, kneeling.
1868  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC bulls back? on: February 18, 2023, 11:19:11 PM
Early February, of course many worried because prices will continue to decline, even a few days ago the price fell again to the level of $ 21K, but this week the rising price was more than 13% and made us sure if the bulls back again, today the price is approaching $ 25k And if you can touch $ 25K, the price will continue to rise.
Since january till now the bitcoin price has increased gradually and in that month we have seen bitcoin able to reach a price of $23k which was the highest price during its hike in january after bitcoin dropped to a low of $15k at the end of 2022 which is the lowest price for bitcoin, currently bitcoin is experiencing a positive uptrend and has made bitcoin able to reach $ 25k two days ago but unfortunately bitcoin was only able to last briefly in that area and was corrected again but if the current correction ends soon we will see the price of bitcoin rise again past the level $25k.

Just in January alone, we have a huge jump of 43% and higher, so I'm not sure if that is gradual per definition. And this is one of the best month since 2013. And entering the 3rd week of February, not a great leap but still we are above $24k and have hit $25k before faltering and making a correction and then jumping back again. So yeah, $25k is the biggest barrier, but I do see that we are going to get and break that big mental barrier this February. The bullish momentum will continue from here and maybe in the next coming quarters. And with that speculation, I can say that the bitcoin bulls are back in our ecosystem and going to push the price even further.

1870  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: can wallet to wallet transfer be hack on: February 18, 2023, 10:58:16 PM
i will transfer about $300k tether from my trustwallet to coinbase wallet using either erc or trc.
if some one knows my both wallet address and time of the transaction; any how can that person do something about that transaction? steal, hack, freeze the account etc?
during the transaction or after?

Only the wallet addresses? everyone can do that randomly, get two wallet addresses in any blockchain, but they can't do anything about it.

there is no way he have access to my private keys but i am reading some weird things and wonder if is possible. i am also aware in that case everyone have access to wallet addresses steal and it will be chaos but maybe there is something that i dont know and i want to make sure.

i dont know if it matters or not but to coinbase wallet is newly created wallet

thx for your help

Hackers can get or steal your crypto if they know your private key, mnemonic phrase in a wallet that you have control of, known as non-custodial. Coinbase wallet on the other hand is custodial, meaning all control is with Coinbase.

So if by chance, they known your password on that account, then obviously they can steal it right away from you.
1871  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Devin Haney vs Vasiliy Lomachenco - May 20 on: February 18, 2023, 10:48:12 PM

Not sure though how you see Haney as a offensive boxer, no offense, but he plays more as a defensive fighter like Floyd. He is bigger if that is what you mean by massive, he has the length. If there will be a offensive boxer here in this rematch, it will be Loma, when his 'hi-tech' style and approach.

Sorry that was my bad, of course I meant defensive not offensive style. Obviously. I just got a bit mixed up who I meant lol. Once Haney finds an opening, his counter punching combos are really nice to watch. Not so much his signature jabs but that might be where defensive styles lack style. He really seems to like parrying from a higher guard stance with his jab.

But his attack combos? The transitions are really nice.

I just think his size will be the deciding factor when combined with his defense in his fight vs Loma.

I've seen how Haney moved and I must say that he knows when to throw punches and he wisely targets his opponent's weakness so he'll know that his punches will have sure hits.
If he will still does the same thing when he faces Loma, he might also include countering and having a strong defense against him. Loma is also aggressive and that's something he should prepare for.

Only thing that I see is for Haney to do the pull counter, ye he has this one in his arsenal, but it is not as smooth or "beautiful", when Floyd throws it. And with his long reach, for sure it might hit Loma as some point throughout that fight. So we are going to watch that strategy if Haney wanted to score points every round. But then again, with Loma's IQ, he might find a way to offset that if he see the Haney is countering him nicely. So again, there could be weaknesses by this two, but they know how to figure and counter it as well.
1872  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: February 18, 2023, 10:38:08 PM
So Jason Moloney cancelled his bout against Donaire and then it's get replaced with Santiago? well it will be good for Donaire because Santiago is weaker than Moloney, I was think Moloney will able to beat Donaire, but in this match I'm more convinced Donaire will able to beat Santiago. Santiago biggest fight was against Gary Russell, but he lost via decision.

Yes, that's true mate, Moloney though might change a different route to get a belt as well. But his not willing to take the fight, was somewhat a "blessing in disguise" for the Flash himself.  Santiago will be less of a challenge for him.

Yes, this fight is happening, I posted it here first, hehehe.

Anyways, it's good to have a separate thread for this fight, this is for the bantamweight belt so it's deserves one.

And as the majority of you guys see it, we are going to favor our very own Nonito Donaire and his chances are good to win another bantamweight reign. Santiago might be unknown to us, not enough in the top 5, but it doesn't mean that it will be easy for Donaire. Still very hard fight but at the end, the experience of Donaire will be in full display here, how he is going to set up that left hook, coverage of the ring and setting feint and traps to open Santiago and then give us his patented left hook to finish with a knockout.

Yup, no such thing as an easy fight for Donaire now especially at this stage of his career but i could say that this one is very winnable. As usual, Donaire's height or we say, he is the bigger fighter here which could be the biggest advantage of the Filipino Flash. Santiago is 5'2 which i think will give him a hard time to hit Donaire and him vulnerable to that patented counter left hook which could end the fight quickly.

True, will not be an easy fight for Nonito, still have to work a lot in the gym because he is not that young anymore. He needs to get that body moving and definitely that counter left hook that he is known off will be in display here from round 1. So it's hard for Santiago to cope with that kind of counter, he needs to be very quick as he might be the next victim of Nonito's signature punch.
1873  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 18, 2023, 10:23:35 PM
This team has some star power with LeBron, who is currently considered the best player in the NBA and a future Hall of Famer. However, if we examine what's happening within the team, we can see that they are already facing challenges, particularly with injuries, especially Anthony Davis, who has a reputation for being injury-prone, whether we like it or not.

Last season was a disappointment for the Lakers, and this year presents an opportunity for them to bounce back. As I previously mentioned, Davis is essential to the team's success, and it's crucial that he stays healthy since he provides the consistency that the Lakers need to perform well.

There's no doubt that a healthy Davis is very important to the Lakers. However, no matter how well he performs on the court, he can't be called a player who provides consistency for the team. I mean, his systematic injuries have devalued his talent since he hasn't played even half of the regular season games in the last two years. Unfortunately, the trend is the same this season since Davis has already missed 24 of 59 games.

It's automatic 3 weeks every time Davis goes on the floor and it doesn't look good at all for him and the Lakers. So yeah there is no consistency on him and obviously the Lakers are affected by those missed games.

So I don't think we can see him being healthy once more, or at least play the majority of the season just like when they become a champion. Although he is stil young, but becoming fragile every year. So it's going to be a difficult task for Rob Pelinka once more, whether to keep him or used him again, as a trade bait for other teams.
1874  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: February 17, 2023, 11:56:09 PM
How can a fight be made if he has pleased guilty? Any normal person would go to jail for hitting 4 people and fleeing the crime scene. I hate how rich famous people get away with everything. Any normal person gets jailed for many years for this. I hope Garcia knocks him out and teaches him a lesson I hope the fan base show that they are not supporters of him any more because of his hit and run. I used to like Tank but I have a entirely new view of him since I learned about this. I cannot believe he will get away with it and continue boxing.

Unfortunately, that's how the world works, rich and influential people can get away with it.

Anyhow, it's really hard to fathom that, but we might as well stay away from that issue and just again, hope that fight will happen. And probably this is one reason why so many people hate him like Bradley who also wishes that Ryan Garcia will knock him out cold so send him a rude awakening. Yeah, that ankle issue or him in a wheelchair could just be marketing ploy to sway people's opinion on him. But the question is, will it influence us? I don't think so.
1875  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto Momentum Falters as Bitcoin Retreats to $23.6K on: February 17, 2023, 11:44:34 PM
We were at $16,000 for quite a while, really not that long ago. The retrace from 25k to 23.6k is not what I would personally class as faltering.

I do agree, and lest we forget, we are still in the heart of the bear market, so we are lucky enough that we went from that price like in more than 70 days. January alone was a huge spike at 40% and more.

We ‘re seeing higher lows & higher highs. It’s just a retrace, I am not saying that we will not go lower but the price & market is not faltering at the moment.

Let’s see what happens through the rest of 2023. It could be a wild ride due to macro environment.

And now this authors calling it faltering? hehehe, they should have known better. Obviously, this is just a click back and majority of this are just to create hype and something and using words such as faltering, when obviously, this is just a correction.

And wait for it, we are now back and closing at $25k again.
1876  Other / Archival / Re: Historical Data on Bitcoin Bullish/Bearish Cycles on: February 17, 2023, 11:33:24 PM
Next cycle, we'll could see increases of 2.0-2.5x, which would be around 125k to 150k.

I highly doubt there will be $150,000 in the next bull run. Of course, I would like bitcoin to grow more and more, making us all happy, but let's be realistic. Bitcoin slows down its growth over time and the number of Xs, in relation to the past ATH, is constantly decreasing. Bitcoin, with each new cycle, needs more and more fuel in the form of liquidity, it needs to attract more and more investments and cash flows. Therefore, I would count on at least 90-100k, not to mention 150k.

I think that will be the bare minimum, $100k in the next bull run. But for sure, everyone is going to be happy seeing around $120k-$180k. And I do agree that it could be around in the range of 2.0ish again for new all time high.

There is no formula, this is all speculation base on the past numbers that we are getting.

Bitcoin market is fairly young though, so those numbers will really fluctuate as well as the data set is too small. Nevertheless, a good 6 digits 2024/2025 bull run is not that bad.
1877  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Owl.games confiscated 0.1 BTC for rediculous reason on: February 17, 2023, 11:21:31 PM
It seems that there official account here is active once again,  owlgames.

If they are not going to answer then probably the second best option is to make some noise on their official twitter account to get their attention,

https://twitter.com/OWLDAOio

Best of luck, hopefully you can get back that 0.1 BTC that you have won.

Or you can reach out to: https://www.askgamblers.com/submit-complaint

That's the right decision to call them out on a platform where they are more active, the admin of the Twitter handle just posted an hour ago you can tag the handle or comment on one of his recent tweets, if he blocks you or ignore you that means they have no intention to address any complaint, there will be more complaints coming and this is the kind of treatment that complainants will receive so its time for players to think if this is the right gambling platform to play.

Yes, sometimes you really have to go to extremes to call out their attention like posting on their official twitter account. And with that, many will see it specially gamblers as well so there could be pressure on them to explain their side against their accuser.

@Saisher - yes, I know that they are just one of those gambling platform that have their own token and obviously they want to attract investors like you and me. Unfortunately, I don't have any investment on them, nevertheless this accusations might reflect and be bad for their image, just saying. So it's your decision to stay with them or not and shift it to other platforms.
1878  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 17, 2023, 11:11:16 PM
Let see if he will win and start preparing for the title fight if, in case Vargas will negotiate right after Magsayo wins his fight.

Winning against Brandon Figueroa is Mark Magsayo's ticket for the rematch with Rey Vargas. No need for Vargas to negotiate as it will happen because the winner between Magsayo and Figueroa will be an interim champion and Vargas needs to defend his title.

Yes, it's inevitable, they might get their rematch if Mark Magsayo will win against a very tough opponent in Brandon Figueroa.

Just roughly 3 weeks of waiting and we will see the winner of that match.

And most likely they are really pushing themselves in the last 2 weeks of training, and then in the last week probably doing light trainings only so that they will not get burn out and just ready and prime for fight night.

I'm looking at our favorite crypto sport bookies and so far, no odds has been released yet.
1879  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Figueroa vs Magsayo WBC Interim Featherweight Title (March 4) on: February 17, 2023, 11:01:18 PM
it is a decision for Magsayo , like what most votes here now and I am sure that with his confidence and advantage he will get this title .
though Figueroa on the other hand is great boxer but this is not for him now , the Filipino Moxer has all the potential to partially take this win.

Just being a biased here that's why I'm in favor to Magsayo. But I consider Figueroa as a threat and not that easy to beat.

Both are eagerly want to become a champion and expects them to show all their best to be the interim champion.

Since Vargas lose recently against Foster, the winner of this match will have another challenge to think as they will have to go against Vargas to fully claimed the belt and being a champion.

Same here, I'm also biased, and honestly, I think Magsayo is not yet a complete fighter based on what I've seen on his last defeat. Well, I'm just hopeful that in this small ample of time that he is preparing, hopefully I'll see a major improvement. He is a KO artist, we know that, but he is not so dominant like other boxers who still remain undefeated now.

Much to my surprised Magsayo will not have Roach as his lead trainer he opted to be with Marvin Zamodio, lets's see in this coming fight if Magsayo made the right decision, Magsayo badly needed to win this fight, but changing your main trainer like Roach will make a huge impact in his performance could be bad or good for this coming fight, it will be interesting what Magsayo will show with Zamudio in his corner.

Magsayo, Promoter Explain Change In Head Trainers From Freddie Roach To Marvin Somodio

Quote
“But they relate more. They’re Filipino. They speak the same dialect. And he just felt like he needed a change. He needed a new gym. He just needed to try something new. And, you know, like I said, nothing against Freddie, nothing against Wild Card, but sometimes you wanna try something new, let Marvin lead, be the lead trainer. And we’re gonna see the results. I think we’ll see very good results on March 4th.”

I think it could be the issue that Mark or coach Freddy has a tight deadline with some boxers as well that's why he can't give more time to Magsayo. Not saying that he is the reason why Mark lost, it's not and I would agree that it's better if it will be a Filipino so that there will be no lost in translation.

Marvin has guided Mark before and giving him good advise in his career.

I think it's time for Magsayo to go back to his grassroots training against with his old lead trainer.

Let's talk about the upcoming All-Star Game. We can check the schedules here.
https://www.nba.com/news/2023-all-star-schedule-of-events
Speaking of All-Stars, here is our tomorrow's game.

And here is the roster.
Quote
Team Pau: Paolo Banchero, Bennedict Mathurin, Jaden Ivey, Scottie Barnes, Jose Alvarado, Keegan Murray, Andrew Nembhard
Team Deron: Franz Wagner, Jalen Green*, Alperen Sengun, Trey Murphy III, AJ Griffin, Bones Hyland, Walker Kessler, Ayo Dosunmu**
Team Joakim: Evan Mobley, Josh Giddey, Jalen Williams, Jeremy Sochan, Quentin Grimes, Jabari Smith Jr., Jalen Duren*, Tari Eason**
Team Jason: Sidy Cissoko (G League Ignite), Scoot Henderson (G League Ignite), Mojave King (G League Ignite), Kenneth Lofton Jr. (Memphis Hustle), Mac McClung (Deleware Blue Coats), Leonard Miller (G League Ignite), Scotty Pippen Jr. (South Bay Lakers)
https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/nba-all-star-rising-stars-game-2023-live-stream-format-rosters-teams-how-to-watch-online-start-time/

I was actually surprised Deron Williams will coach the other team of the Rising Stars. I am a big fan of his from Utah Jazz paired with AK47 to Brooklyn Nets, (with his crossovers mostly, watch his highlights, they are damn good) until he was just gone without a big issue. He just wants to spend more time with his family, that's it.
Looking at the roster he is coaching, I will definitely bet for his team. Wagner and Sengun might play this explosively.  Cheesy
Team Joakim looks like a formidable team too unless Team Jason's roster which is mostly G-league players will show off with scouts watching on the sidelines.

Actually it turns out that it was a big issue when Deron Williams left the Jazz that time because he has a beef with the late former coach of the Jazz Jerry Sloan. Not sure if everyone is familiar with the story but it's here,
