1323  Economy / Speculation / Re: Will April be a red month? on: April 25, 2023, 04:13:10 PM
After price increased by 10% this month from the opening price of around $28.K, the monthly candle is now down around 4%. Do you think it will now end in the red, if so by how much?
With just around 5 days remaining for the month of april to end, I don't think we will be able to close the candle in green by any huge margin. My best bet would be the candle might end up somewhere between 26k to 26.5k as I don't believe the recent correction is finished yet. This would be almost neutral anyways (i.e. no bull no bear). Im quite bullish for the upcoming months though after this wave is done.

Yeah, same here. Probably we are going to retest $26k and then we will see if it is going to hold or not. So with that, I will say that April will be red month unfortunately. And if I'm not mistaken, CME Bitcoin future contracts expires every last Friday of the month, so that will be April 28. And usually the price goes down before the contract expirations. And then we might see another sideways, it doesn't mean that it will be bad next month though. So another consolidation phase for all of us, and it's either breakout or breakdown validation next. So overall, this bearish month might be good overall for the long run.
1324  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: POST ALL PHISING SITES HERE (2023) on: April 25, 2023, 03:12:35 PM
Thanks for the mentioned, few comments though,

a. As others have said put the phishing link in a code tag, like this one. So that it won't be searchable to Google. In this example

Code:
https://syscoin.live

b. Maybe you can add the link as well as where to report this sites so that it will be taken down. (https://safebrowsing.google.com/safebrowsing/report_phish/?hl=en)

c. Another helpful thread, [Guide]: How and Where to Report Phishing Websites.

Ok, I has posted a few days ago regarding dun sa enhancement nila including new Bitcoin address, pag check ko kanina meron na nga at implemented na to.

[img width=420]https://talkimg.com/images/2023/05/16/blob9a61cfbcd5240a49.png[/img]

1326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 24, 2023, 01:46:57 PM

Draymond Green is returning after his 1 game suspension and will give them some defensive help inside. If 2 out of 3 players ( Steph / Klay / Poole ) make a good game shooting wise this will be a win for GSW.

I think it's gonna be a close game and I wouldn't wonder if it's open to the last shot. If the series returns to Sacramento being tied at 2:2 there might be a chance That the Kings are getting nervous. They are quite inexperienced in the playoffs and we all know what the GSW are, they are champions.

Wow, how right I was about this game. It was actually open until the last seconds. Also all 3 ( Curry, Thompson and Pool ) had ok shooting splits which secured the victory.

GSW taking a 10 point lead in the last quarter just to lose it within 3 minutes, what an exiting game this was.
Sacramento also deserved this win as they fought real hard in this one but the Warriors had the last laugh.

Game 5 will be interesting now. Will the Kings be able to stay strong at home or can the Warriors ride the momentum and overcome their problems in away games to steal this one?

By far this is the most interesting series to me in this season, it was nice to see some new faces again like the Sacramento Kings to actually give the defending champs a 0-2 run right from the start of their series. I was really surprised by that because they don't have that much experience compared to the Warriors but unfortunately for them, the Warriors bounced back after having 2 home games and tied their series.

Now if the Kings will carry on and eliminate the Warriors in the first round, I will bet on them until they reach the conference finals because if they can destroy the Warriors then I think they can destroy the remaining teams in the West now.

Too early to say though, even if they will beat the Warriors, there are a lot of elite teams in the West that can give them problems. The good thing is that they are making this series very interesting for us basketball fans.

Curry almost turn in CWebb calling for timeout when there is none.

But in any case, if you look at the replay, he really did play good defense of Fox, causing him to give up the ball to Barnes. And then Steph running back to contest that Harrison shot. Yes, we can call it lucky. But definitely, the Warriors are looking good with Kerr's adjustment. Draymond not starting and coming off the bench. And Draymond has almost a triple double in this game.

Nice thread.

[img width=420]https://talkimg.com/images/2023/05/16/blob95704bc7d8635082.png[/img]

Grin
1328  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin having effect on the ongoing war on: April 24, 2023, 12:44:48 PM
But who knows, the source is inside Russia so might be true that they are just hiding on the reasons that they have abundance of electricity, on the other hand they want Bitcoin mining or Bitcoin per se, to go against the sanctions by the West. So still a win-win for them to go and become the second biggest mining country.
Many people in the financial system in Russia consider bitcoin to be a pyramid scheme. You can argue a lot on this topic, but a large number of bitcoins have already been mined. If Russia invests huge amounts of money in the construction of mining centers, then the US could at any moment ban bitcoin and make Russia's investment in mining useless. There are a lot of natural resources in Russia, and it is better for the government to develop more promising areas rather than bitcoin mining.

Yes, but if there's one thing that Bitcoin can do with Russia right now is to circumvent the US sanctions on them and they could used BTC to their advantage by being the mining capital or hub right now. China for once has ban Bitcoin trading, and it has no to little effect on the market.

Probably US will put a big dent once they decided to put the hammer ban, but I doubt that the government will do it. There are a lot of US that is going to be crypto friendly and even Bitcoin mining booms in Texas. The US government is more intelligent than just putting the ban on bitcoin and everything that relates to it. On the contrary, I'm thinking that they will have to embrace or adopt it the sooner to stay ahead of the game.

Sorry for bumping the thread that has been inactive for a month already.

If yes, paano niyo naresolba yung issue?

1330  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Did bitcoin has trading signals and indictors like forex? on: April 23, 2023, 11:41:09 PM
Can we use the same analysis on forex to appropriate our trading on bitcoin like the way gold and US dollar trades same signals.
Did bitcoin has trading signals and indictors different from forex or they're all same signals and indictors but different price movement from bitcoin?
Because forex do not actually include bitcoin signals when trading bitcoin on forex apps. Instance! When you wants to trade forex you can get signals and indictors apps from google play store but no such for bitcoin?

As far as I know, all technical indicators, be the basic one to advance is the same across all markets. However, the price movement might not be the same, i.e. Bitcoin market is very volatile as compare to any other out there like Forex.

So most likely, you will have to make a "wild and educated" guess of your own in both market.

And if you are looking for like a stable source of income, both can be used, but it will be very difficult.

Well you can get free trading signals in Bitcoin in https://www.tradingview.com/symbols/BTCUSD/?exchange=CRYPTO
1331  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin support for various essential tasks. on: April 23, 2023, 11:17:02 PM
That's part of being a investor, just not in Bitcoin, in any other traditional market as well. We have to sell because there is an emergencies, that we needed some money to cover. And that is why we save Bitcoin, to have that something that we can withdraw in times of crisis.

But the thing is that after the emergency, you should try to get it back. What I mean is to re-invest all over again, repeat the cycle and even try to save more than you have withdraw so that you can have or you will have future income. Continue to grow your wealth, that is why Bitcoin become one of the best asset in this generation.
1332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: April 23, 2023, 03:43:29 AM
Not much action in the first round, maybe neither boxers don't want to commit mistakes attacking that could cost them the fight.

Hope this would not end in a snore feast.

edit:
there you go, Garcia overcommitted and made the mistake that Davis is waiting thus causing the knockdown.

Damn, that left hook of Davis, right on the pipe of Ryan.

But Ryan was able to get up from the canvass, his chin has been tested again but was able to recover very quickly.

I still have Davis winning the first 4 rounds, 3-1 with round 2, 10-8 scoring.

Edit: It's over, Davis with that huge body shot in round seven. Ryan take a knee but can't get up in time.
1333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 22, 2023, 06:00:13 PM
The idiot showed his face once again.
"I don't care he is old" Yeah, he is right, But there an issue, that old guy had been pursuing another championship and we don't see that with Dillon Brooks. He is just another guy that will be surpassed by L
Lebron and I don't even think he is on par against him.
Brooks doesn't even now what he is getting himself into.
It's not even about the game. Brookes just made the wrong decision to bump into. I don't blame him, it's the lack of discipline that had him in this wrong position.
Goodbye, Brooks.

I guess there is a borderline between cockiness and disrespect. It's true that what old school basketball says about Michael Jordan is that he is feared as compare to Lebron. But if Brooks is like disrespecting Lebron here, I do agree it might not end very well not just for Brooks, but the whole Memphis team. Even Draymond in his podcast is trashing Brooks, and I guess every one in the West will. The likes of CP3 or Booker if ever they face Memphis in this playoff will not let his trash talking but Brooks. And he could be one of the most hated player in the West for sure. And until they haven't win any ring, they can do all the trash talking but it won't help them not much.

So yeah, even a non-Laker fans will be interested to see how this series will evolved with James vs Brooks competition and trash talking.
1334  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Central African Republic drops Bitcoin as Legal Tender on: April 22, 2023, 03:59:46 PM
Yeah, most likely infrastructure is not yet setup to CAR that's why adopting Bitcoin has failed. And the government should provide first the basic necessities like food, water and shelter before all other things.

Or maybe CAR was put into pressure by IMF and any other world bodies, just like what they did to El Salvador although President Bukele is not deterred by threats of IMF.

It's not the failure of Bitcoin though, just to be clear here. Maybe CAR was very quick to adopt and make it legal tender without any further studies on the effects of it in their country.

Let's look at what happen here: List of Major Bitcoin Heists, Thefts, Hacks, Scams, and Losses [Old], specially in 2012, here.

Maybe the person is one of those who pulled out the heist that year and after 10 years just decided to move out and maybe thought that there's no more heat on that BTC. But all eyes are on those old Bitcoin addresses that has a lot and have been tracked by some entities and will be reported if it moved.

1337  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: April 21, 2023, 11:52:31 PM
Warriors definitely plays better at home and this was known before the series, they had such a big difference between home and away games all season long so this series and any series Warriors are on, would be sort of like the regular season. I definitely expect them to win the fourth game too if nothing goes wrong.

I agree with you.  I think the Warriors will be able to beat the Kings in San Francisco.  For whatever reason the Warriors are just terrible on the road.  Probably something they need to look into.  Something about their road routine isn't going right.  This is why playoff seeding is so important.  In order for the Warriors to move on to round 2, they're going to have to win one in Sacramento.  I'm not saying they can't do it, but the odds are against them.  If you're a Warriors fan, you're really hoping they can find a way to steal a game in Sacramento and push this series out to where they'll have the advantage at home.

And this is what Steph says during their losses in road games.

Quote
"Our road splits have been trash all year, in all categories," Steph Curry said. "Just trying to correct that as much as possible is our challenge. First quarter, we were down 20, to fight our way back shows how much it matters to us, to try and get over the hump. Over the road, we just have to have a better start."

https://www.si.com/nba/warriors/news/steph-curry-gives-honest-answer-about-warriors-horrible-road-record

So they know where to improved, it's that they are not there yet. Although in first game of the series, they have a chance to steal one, unfortunately, shooting woes in the last minute or so. Still early though, maybe if they can make it 2-2 the pressure will be on the backs on the Kings and they really have to play good in their home court. And that pressure might be too big to them and let the Warriors, who has the championship DNA just to get one on the road.
1338  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: Safest Exchanges in the World on: April 21, 2023, 11:36:12 PM
There have been suggestions about FTX within less than a year when OP asked this. And this is what's the nature of exchanges, we'll never know who's going to be the next exchange to bite the dust and that's why for OP even if we suggest you the best exchanges that we have in mind so that we save fees away from transferring in and out of our balances. It's best to be mindful when we're leaving our funds on them. There's no safe exchange anymore even if the most known and popular, you can't be sure with them if they'll be the next FTX. That's why if you happen wanting to save fees, just deposit the amount that you think will be totally fine whether it's gone or not.

Yeah, if we go back then, it seems that FTX is solid and could be one of those exchanges that you can recommend to someone. But we all know that happen with the mismanagement of SBF resulting to a total collapse. So what lessons we learn for here? There's no such thing as safest exchange, they can be under threat from hackers and criminals and even from government regulations. And worst is the the people behind is the one bring downfall to it, no one is going to see that until it's too late. So we really need to be very vigilant on how much money we left in a exchange as history tells us that it is not good practice to just let it sit here, thousands of dollars worth and then the next day, that exchanges is in troubled.
1339  Economy / Economics / Re: SPENDING MORE THAN YOU EARN on: April 21, 2023, 11:23:43 PM
Yes, this is the first thing that I have learned when I started to get a job, bills are piling up, credit card debts, then budget for food and other amenities. So for those who are just starting up it's going to be very difficult unless someone more experience will guide them, like their parents on how to live without having to spend more than you can earn.

Buy what you need and not what you want.
If you have a chance to buy second hand things, then do it. It's not always that you will have to buy brand new which cost a lot.
I also like the pay cash attitude, in this case you don't need to swipe your credit card.
If you can used public transportation, the better.

Katulad sa thread na to, Report: PH ranks 2nd in ‘ownership of cryptocurrency’.

Kaya talagang ipon ipon pag may time.
