1761  Economy / Gambling / Re: NAKAMOTO ROULETTE launched today on: February 27, 2023, 11:52:20 PM
I haven't created a full account on this site, but it's good that you can test it like the roulette which I enjoyed. There are games that are really live in a casinos as I have bet together with someone on the floor, it's that I don't understand the language, lol, but I don't see that as a big problem.

I actually turn the free money to like x6 on the roulette last night. It was fun on my end, although it's free money, I still bet like it was just real money because that will be my strategy, the same when I decided to create an account and deposit. Let's see, what games I will want to try next.
1762  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: February 27, 2023, 11:16:25 PM
People are eagerly anticipating the upcoming Spence vs Thurman fight, which is one of the biggest fights of the year even though it's not a title fight.

I think it's not. People are not eager to watch Spence vs Thurman because that was a disappointment.

Spence vs. Crawford is the one that people want to watch. Another thing, if not against Crawford, Spence should defend his title at 148 but instead, he will fight at 154. Thurman can be a mandatory challenger too at 148 but in the end, they will fight at 154 with no title at stake.

How can people be interested in watching this match if that's pure nonsense?

Definitely, the most anticipated fight that we want in this division is Spence vs Crawford. And now we have [Boxing]: Eimantas Stanionis vs Vergil Ortiz Jr - April 29, which is a true 147 lbs fight.

Then the David vs Garcia and Haney vs Loma, I think this is the fight that boxing fans are willing to pay to watch live and in PPV. This fight is just for Spence to move on because of the failed fight with Crawford and then picking as somewhat a still good boxer in Thurman but no belt on the line. So in cases he lost, he can go back to 147 and defend his belt. Very wise decision on the side of Spence, and too bad that Thurman want's to be his dance partner.
1763  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 27, 2023, 11:03:30 PM
Mayweather is getting it pretty bad in the news today for the lack of people showing up to his last fight.  That's sort of embarrassing and shows that people aren't really willing to pay to see him fight anyone no matter where he goes.  A long ways from the hype of the Conor McGregor fight.

I'm awaiting the results of the Tommy Fury and Jake Paul fight now.  I didn't go crazy but tossed a few in for Jake Paul.  I like his troll act and think he's put in a ton of work to be able to compete at such a high level and knock out legitimate athletes.  I look forward to seeing him continue to try and get to a world title.
Mayweather fight with no one, recently he fight with Aaron Chalmers aka MMA fighter, the fight wasn't scored because each of them can't knocking out each other. I think Mayweather seems to have lose his hype, but many people are still cheering McGregor and Jake Paul, this might because Mayweather isn't a funny person.

Right, but he offers an explanation, the fight was not promoted as expected and they were just like 1 month of doing the social media promotions. In any case, it might be that Floyd is losing his ground now.

And the bad news is that he says he hurt his hands against Chalmers, although he has history of broken arms in the past, and with his age, it might take time to heal and it will be brittle the more he fight, he is nearing 50 years old.
1764  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Figueroa vs Magsayo WBC Interim Featherweight Title (March 4) on: February 27, 2023, 10:39:55 PM
Stamina was always been a problem for Mark Magsayo, I even thought that maybe it was because they don't have a good place where to jog as I have always seen them jogging on the second Mactan bridge in Cebu when he was still with the ALA stable but that problem still exist even if he was there in the US, though there is a little improvement but still it is noticeable.

I have to agree with you regarding the stamina concerns for Magsayo.

But since changing head trainer in October last year, I'm sure his camp already working out for a long on how to improve Magsayo's stamina.

After all, it's not that he's really getting totally exhausted the entire fight but rather just a noticeably lacking strength of his punches. Magsayo was able to survive the 12-round fight against Rey Vargas and just needs a good adjustment on how to make his stamina last longer to be able to keep also his strength last long.

I'm sure that Mark Magsayo and his camp learned something about his last encounter with Vargas, whether if it's stamina or endurance to finish the whole 12 rounds without giving any huge signs of exhaustion. It's impossible to think that Magsayo haven't improved even for just a little bit after that fight as Vargas gave him a nightmare after that and I believe that became his driving force to thrive even more to be a champion once again in the future. Now, if he will still fail against Figueroa, then maybe he's just another Philippine boxer that will come and go.

Mark has gone back to his old coach, Marvin Somodio and a conditioning coach, so this might help him a lot against Brandon Figueroa's match. It's not that Freddie Roach failed or wait, maybe there could be language barriers and so it's good to be back with Marvin who have trained him most of his careers.

And with a conditioning coach, it could give Mark the needed trainings on how he can improved his stamina and gas tank because that's what we all notice in his fight that he gasses out in the middle or later rounds. Maybe because he is a puncher, and if his power doesn't hit someone, it will really take a big toll on his strength that will affect his stamina. Hopefully this is going to be corrected by the team against Figueroa.
1765  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 27, 2023, 10:29:11 PM
Big game for the Knicks tonight against the Celtics.  At this point in the season if they want a 4 or 5 spot they need to win games lime this at home.  Don't think many people are giving them a shot but I think they keep theor streK up here tonight and beat the celts at home.  The Knicks don't match up well against Philly and the Bucks but I actually think they match up well against the celts.  Maybe I'm wrong and they get blown out but they way they have been playing defense lately this one shoukd at least be a tight game.  Can't wait season is heating up finally.

Right, actually I'm one of those bettors who lay a line on the Knicks winning against the Celtics today, it's going to be very hard for them, but the way they are playing, I'll put and risk some money on them ML and at handicap.

It was reported that Jaylen Brown might not play, and so that could be an advantage for the Knicks as he was like averaging just a shade below 20 points. Someone from the Celtics team will have to cover that one. And then we have Brunson + Randle combo, and they are going to play in front of their home, so lots of screaming fans that can push the Knicks mentally.
1766  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Shuichiro Yoshino April 8 on: February 27, 2023, 10:17:10 PM
But it's slim though, we all know how good Shakur is and he wouldn't let someone deter his goals of fighting for the belt next. So we should lean on Shakur with a big win via ko/tko.
The winning method odds for Shakur to win via knockout should be high because he's not a knockout artist, so it would be profitable if you want to bet that's option. Yoshino haven't lose in any fight and he tend to win via knockout, so it's quite hard to judge how good his chin. I still think Shakur win via decision is high likely to happen, but the odds still not included and if it's not worth, it's better for me to bet via knockout.

Exactly, the likelihood of Shakur winning by KO is not high. Would you bet on Shakur to win via KO, knowing his boring strategy in boxing? Personally, I doubt that he will win by KO in this fight. Most likely, it will still go the full 12 rounds, and he will win via unanimous decision. However, if you like to have fun and are willing to take the risk, then Shakur winning by KO could be the right bet for you.

I agree though, his knockout percentage is not even 50%, so most likely it will be a long and deliberate fight for him against Yoshino, unless he become a big hitter and Yoshino doesn't have a good chin to begin with.

It might be better though for me at least, so just sit out this match.

And wait for the outcome because the next fight might be the good one to bet. Shakur vs the winner of Haney vs Loma.

If you can take that risk and you are aiming for a considerable profit then it's on you to decide. I mean, knowing the strategy
of Shakur, he will continue to seek for his advantage in winning by UD.

Unless he's camp already change his strategy and starts practicing him on a KO base fight, we can't tell if how things will proceed.

It's on the bettors' decision whether to bet on KO or UD, but most likely Shakur is the favorite here.

also, shakur's name rings a bell more than his japanese opponent. so yeah, i agree that shakur will be the favourite of bookies here. if you are not very sure about the winning method for this match, you can always place a bet in the major betting line. but in my opinion, shakur will likely win on this match. but should not be confident as the KO percentage of yoshino is about 75% as compared to 47% for shakur.

I check 2 sports bookies and so far the only is odds listed is the ML, so no value if we are going to bet on Shakur. But if we wanted to go for the Japanese underdog at 7.x, now is the time to bet (but as I have said, the chances are slim to win either by decision or ko/tko).

So let's wait for more line to be offered, maybe we can see some value if there will be more options for Shakur like winning by decision or even winning by knockout or which round. Maybe the referee will have to stop it when he sees the Japanese taking more damage from Shakur jab and pin point accuracy in this match.
1767  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 27, 2023, 10:06:42 PM
I only bet one game last night as I was sort on bad losing streak.

Sacramento Kings vs OKC -3.5 @1.84 and it's good that the Kings has enough left in the tank to cover the handicapped.
I think we can really trust the Kings. The usual players who scored well are still contributing, especially Fox. Honestly, I was a bit tempted to bet on the Kings, but I realized that they might get tired because of the double overtime. However, I was wrong, they still continued their dominance. Next time, I won't miss betting on this team. They are a young team but a real playoff contender now.

Yeah, but I guess we have to trust that the Kings are a real contender this season. Fox, Sabonis and Malik Monk's chemistry and very different. We have seen Fox full potential as he is taking the game for the Kings.

Losing night last night first one since the break.  Need to start a new winning streak here.  Got 2l3 games tonight:

First up knicks +2.5 at home against the Celtics.  Yeah I know but jaylen brown is out and think the Knicks can suffocate Taytum enough.  Gimme the Knicks

Sixers -6 at home.  Hard loss against the celts the other night.  Think they roll this one.  Embid goes for 40 tonight

I have the same bet as you mate, I put it without seeing you bet. And besides this single bet, I already up the risk with a parlay with Knicks ML + Sixers handicap, hehehe.
1768  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: February 27, 2023, 09:53:06 PM

Gusto ko ring i parlay to maliban sa single bet, 4.04.

When I see this tweet from someone I cant imagine if the owner is where now. He didnt touch his asset for a very long time or is it that he is just still waiting for a great run? I do hope he isnt dead cause the money he left is really a huge one. Or if he loss his key is one of the surreal nightmare ever that will happened.  Lots of free airdrops and fork rewards to his wallet.

We can only speculate mate, so yeah, worst case is that he is dead, or if he is still alive, maybe he lost the key already and maybe trying to find it out for the last couple of years.

We all know that there are crypto enthusiast who might have forgotten their keys, I once misplaced my private key and it's good that it has no crypto that time and it was just in the beginning of my crypto journey.
1770  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: February 27, 2023, 11:53:02 AM
No official on how much the price is, but pretty much on that range $74.99 or maybe higher in this fight at $79.99. For sure though, there are fans who is willing to pay that big just to see their favorite boxers inside the ring or thru just PPV. And the live gates is obviously going to be expensive, thousands of dollars for the best sit in the house. We can only wish to see this fight live, hehehe. No movement on the odds though, Garcia still a 3:1 underdog. So we can bet early or wait near the fight and see if the odds will someone shift, but I doubt it though. So for fans of Ryan here, this is a good odds for him.
1771  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Hypothetical Question on: February 27, 2023, 11:09:20 AM
If you were told the outcome of a soccer match, hours before the match was scheduled, and you were assured that it would 100% win, how much would you be willing to bet on it? Assuming it was a 100% can’t lose situation.

Assuming you had millions of dollars that you could put on the match, where would you place the bets? Bookies often limit players. How could one successfully place millions of dollars in bets without drawing up suspicions or having their money frozen? Just curious.

You can't, even if you have like 10 person going to bet $100k on that separately, the bookies will have that suspicion because of the sudden turn of money specially if that winner is supposedly the underdogs.

So it's better not to bet that huge amount, as the saying goes for us, don't be too greedy as it might back fire on you.

And if you do the bet and you were able to successful put a bet on it, definitely there will be red flags and yes, you might not withdraw any of your winnings.
1772  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 27, 2023, 09:52:42 AM
Agreed. Casimero has nothing to offer Inoue except if he is holding a super bantamweight championship. However, you mentioned that he is ranked 5 in WBO. Stephen Fulton is the champion of the WBO super bantamweight division and Fulton is scheduled to fight Inoue already. I reckon he should challenge someone with a high ranking in WBA or IBF then challenge Murodjon Akhmadaliev the WBA and IBF super bantamweight champion hehe.

That's what he really needs to do and it will all come to his promoter whether they have some way to give him the chance to fight the champion in the other belts association. It's not that hard for him because he can really fight those champions as long as given enough time to train and fix his skills to get back his confidence. His last fight was a joke and the guy is frustrated right now, he really needs to fight a real boxer to regain his honor. He still has a long road to getting a chance to fight Inoue and he needs to regain his popularity a well by completely beating his next opponents.

Yes, I think he will stick with the WBO, I mean he got his highest ranking is just one fight at this weight class, Luis Nery will be a good fight for him and they have been calling each other even before goes up to 122 lbs, as far back as 2020, after his win with Duke Micah.

Quote
Nery, who holds an unbeaten record of 30-0 (with 24 KOs), reportedly referred to the Filipino as a log meant to be chopped down.

https://news.abs-cbn.com/sports/09/03/20/boxing-casimero-calls-out-ex-world-champ-in-instagram-spat

So this is going to be a slug fest, and hopefully they can schedule it this year.
1773  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 27, 2023, 09:30:21 AM
It will be the biggest comeback and no team has made it when down 27 points or more.

Is this in general or just only on the Lakers' game history?

This season, Lakers 2-5 now, when trailing 25 points or more. They were also down 25 against the Portland Trailblazers.

And biggest in James comeback in James career.

I agree with what has been said on AD, he seems to be responding on what James said previously that as a team they need to perform very well. And with the likes of Vanderbilt, very resilient in defense and offense too could have a positive impact to Davis.
1774  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury - February 26 in Saudi Arabia on: February 27, 2023, 07:49:02 AM
@Baofeng. Yes and very much similar to the ICOs in the cryptospace, they will create another storyline to again make the fans very intruiged and they will certainly be buying tickets and payperviews hehehe. This will be declared the Paul-Fury trilogy. I am not quite certain if this will be the type of fights that will put the sport of boxing forward, however. I reckon the fans should be more demanding of the best boxers to challenge each other like Crawford vs. Spence.

For sure, hehehe, even John Fury says that Jake Paul is a boxer  Grin and they are all praises with him. And it just shows that they opting for a rematch maybe in the Saudi again as obviously the money in boxing is now on the Middle East. Paul said he respects the decision even though he didn't like it obviously. So I guess we shouldn't be surprised if there will be a rematch and then animosity between the two, trash talking and that will culminate in the face off/weigh in pushing each other again. But we all know that this fight is just for pure money itself. There are a lot of upcoming boxing fights that fans shouldn't missed though.

I only bet one game last night as I was sort on bad losing streak.

Sacramento Kings vs OKC -3.5 @1.84 and it's good that the Kings has enough left in the tank to cover the handicapped.

Warriors coming from behind to win against the T'Wolves, Klay Thompson carrying the team again with 32 big points. Nuggets coming back from a big lost against the Memphis and beat the Clippers in OT.
1776  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does this help you win when you're gambling? on: February 26, 2023, 11:59:04 PM
So i wanted to share the things i have noticed before when i was regularly visiting a land base casino during weekend and sometimes after work. I have noticed several times when a person was winning more than the usual in poker, i usually approach that person after he left the table what was his secret for those wins, i was literally surprised because 7 of 10 people whom i have asked answered they play gambling trying not to win but to have fun after a long tiring week of work or business.

I don't have the nerve to approach people though when they are winning in a land base casinos, sure I saw some big stack up of chips in front of them. But maybe this is just me or where I'm located at.

Does anyone of you thought that playing for fun helps you think better and win with less effort especially in poker than having the mindset of trying to win? Because when you are trying your hard to win, it will make you overthink and that your mental state will get stressed out.
I think this will work for both land base and online casinos.

I must be one of those who says that yeah you can play for fun, but at the end of the day, you still wanted to win some money right? Maybe you have some funds and money to burn, and so there is no pressure on you and so in any case a win is a win. However, I disagree at some point, gambling is more fun if you win in the end, in my opinion.
1777  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Jake Paul vs Tommy Fury - February 26 in Saudi Arabia on: February 26, 2023, 11:47:51 PM
I am looking for news to know who won this fight, I confess I had no time to watch (in fact I never have time to watch fights because I keep watching European countries' leagues games), so when I finished the NBA game I was Watching I slept 30 minutes and then I remembered this fight, when I look on Google to know the result of the fight I do not find, I do not even know if allut has already started or if you are still fighting or if you are over, in any case who won the fight? I hope it was Jake Paul although it seems improvable, since I only heard comments he would lose in this fight

Tommy won via split decision. Personally I would have given it a draw especially with the late knock down from Jake. I hate it when fights are so close like this and someone loses their 0. I don't think Jake deserved that point taken off either, but credit to both of them. They both seemed pretty evenly matched and you can't say Jake isn't a boxer now because if he isn't then neither is Tommy. I actually think Jake got some of the better punches in but Tommy did seem more composed which is expected given he's been boxing for so long. I'm sure they will do the rematch now. Jake seemed to want it and Tommy is up for it so it makes sense.

I wasn't able to watch the full fight though, I just had the score for Fury first 2 rounds and I was not surprised to see Fury winning although it was reported that there is a knock down scored by Jake Paul. But maybe Fury is already ahead of the judges score card and could have score it 9-9 if Fury did score at least even if he gets knock down.

Yeah and with this kind of "controversial" results, maybe a rematch will do, and of course, the big money in the table for the second fight that Tommy Fury can't refused.
1778  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Solana was recently down, again! on: February 26, 2023, 11:37:12 PM
I guess no one hears about this one because of the numerous times we have heard this thing happen to them before.

And that they have lost their investors already because of this issues and with this, it doesn't sit well again for their name and their reputation. They should have at least monitoring their projects in case their is a bug (I understand that it went to rigorous testing and that their developers and QA testers did their best), but things like this can happen so in that case they should be in stand by to avoid this big issues again. Although it has been resolved, as wise investors, I might stay away from this projects, not saying that they are scam or can't be trusted. But we should put our money wherein there should be no issues or at least not the same as this project as it seems they can't get away from it.
1779  Economy / Economics / Re: Cash is not trash on: February 26, 2023, 11:27:34 PM
If the whole world go digital, then maybe you can say that cash is trash because obviously, we don't need that paper in our hands. But in as much as majority is going cashless and paperless and digital, still though some countries like here still uses cash, specially in developing countries.

So it's not as trash as crypto fanboys would think and I guess this is just exaggerated and out of proportions.

That's why I have also some cash in my money when I go out although a I have our local cash app here, like Gcash will some money as well in case the store chooses to accept digital payment. But base on my experiences, small stores prepare cash although they have that option to accepts Gcash payment, I'm from the Philippines if someone will have to ask.
1780  Economy / Speculation / Re: Expectations for March?! on: February 26, 2023, 11:16:20 PM
I will be bullish for March still, I think we can get to $25k, just in the last 24 hours, we have a good pump and hopefully we can maintain around that $23,500 to $24'ish as we enter March.

And so it's just a thousands of dollars pump and I think everyone is waiting for the biggest barrier to be reach and broken again. CPI reports might be that catalyst and hopefully it will be a positive news for next month. It's just the question of how we are going to sustain the price at $25k again.
