1801  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Tank Davis vs. Ryan Garcia betting and discussion (May, 2023) on: February 24, 2023, 11:58:59 PM
Here we go boys, it's official now,

https://twitter.com/Gervontaa/status/1629214312949751808

And several media outlets are also reporting it, so its' going to be April 22. Everyone is right though, maybe the biggest stumbling block is the court case of Tank Davis, sentencing is May 5 so after this fight, then he has another one in court.

Nevertheless his legal team are going to handle that so there should be no distractions for him and Garcia as well to make this fight happen on April. For sure everyone now is very excited that finally, we have a date and just waiting for what venue it is in Las Vegas.
1802  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Figueroa vs Magsayo WBC Interim Featherweight Title (March 4) on: February 24, 2023, 11:47:26 PM
You guys are measuring the wrong way. Yes they might be both coming from a RECENT loss but lets look at both of their track records over years. Obviously Figueroa might have been on a bad luck streak just like Magsayo, but Magsayo's history is less flawed by a 1 fight (draw). So how does one even compare the two histories? Its hard to tell but Figueroa has been showing more weakness in the recent past, so my money is on Magsayo.

Just because he recently had some bad luck in his fight against Vargas and has finally gotten 1 loss does not make this an eventuality which will happen again. 24 wins 1 loss. Cmon.

But looking at the statistics, even though Figueroa has one draw, his knockout record is more impressive than Magsayo.  Besides, Figueroa is taller and has a reach advantage, if Figueroa mimic the strategy of Vargas, I believe Magsayo will have a huge problem in this fight.

I definitely agree! All boxers have their own failure in this industry and the good thing about them is that they aren't measured by the loss they had but with what they did after the loss they experienced. Both Figueroa and Magsayo came from an unfortunate situation, both boxers didn't want that for sure but they needed it because by that, they will be molded as a much better boxer. But since we are here speculating and putting some bets, my money also goes for Magsayo even if he will be listed as favorite, it will still be Magsayo.

When it comes to betting, I will also go with Magsayo not because I think he is a better boxer but because he is a fellow countryman, and I do that to show my support

That is if Figueroa can mimic the strategy of Vargas and give a hard time to Magsayo but we all know that Figueroa is more like an open book because he's been showing a lot of weaknesses lately than the latter. He might have a good KO ratio but when it comes to ring IQ, I will still side with Magsayo. While for my betting opinion and option, Magsayo is also a fellow countryman but I will bet on him not just because of that fact alone but because I do believe on his talent and that he will beat Figueroa.

Both have different styles and so I doubt that Brandon will mimic the style of Rey Vargas just to win. He has his own way or strategizing in this fight and fight Magsayo the way he knows it.

But for sure it will be his volume punching again, nothing will change a lot here, that's already what we call bread and butter, and that style has been working for him for many years except against Fulton who took all his best shots and received some as well.
Well, in every fight, a fighter could up their game depending on their drive which is more likely from their previous fights. But if we would base on stats, this could be a toe-to-tose or a close match even if they have different fighting styles. The heartbreaker is a heavy puncher and is more agressive but Magnifico has the speed over Figuerroa. This would be interesting for sure because they are fighting for a vacant belt. Both are eager for the spotlight given that their previous fights didn't turn out to be as what they have expected. Hard to guess to be honest but for this fight I guess edge is on The heartbreaker. Outcome probably is by unanimous decision.

It we look at the record though, and basing on their ko % it should be Figueroa that is considered a heavy puncher,

Figueroa - KOs    72%
https://boxrec.com/en/box-pro/718399

Magsayo - KOs    64%
https://boxrec.com/en/box-pro/653034

Speed in boxing is relative though, you can be fast, but if you are not going to hit a target then that speed is nothing. Or Magsayo could be fast in his last fight, but when he faces another fast boxer, then again, his advantages becomes 0.
1803  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 24, 2023, 11:31:14 PM
Ok so let's see if I will bounce or not,

Golden State vs Rockets - GSW here, at least they needed a good win and what better way to do it at home, with thousands of screaming fans, -9.5 @1.95.
Knicks vs Wizards - I'll lay on the Wizards at home, it's going to be very difficult, but taking the risk, Wizards -1.5. @1.96.

Goodluck to all of us!!!
1804  Local / Pamilihan / Re: NBA discussion, betting and etc. on: February 24, 2023, 11:20:07 PM
Boston Celtics -8 vs Indiana Pacers

Miami Heat vs Milwauke Bucks -2.5
Charlotte Hornets vs Minnesota Timberwolves -6.5

Akala ko nga na money in the bag na para sa Boston Celtics pagkatapos ng first half pero biglang humabol tong Pacers at nag-overtime pa hahay pero oks lang, bawi tayo ngayon.

Golden State vs Rockets - GSW, home court nila at kailangan nilang manalo na -9.5 @1.95
Knicks vs Wizards, magandang laban to, Wizards -1.5. @1.96.
1805  Economy / Gambling / Re: NAKAMOTO ROULETTE launched today on: February 24, 2023, 11:09:08 PM
Hi All,

We just launched our new Bitcoin/Lightning LIVE Roulette Site - www.NakamotoRoulette.com

^Can you explain why you used the name of the founder of BTC?
Upon visiting your site I quickly head up into TOS and FAQ but I did not find FAQ, for me this is very important for those who seek answers to frequent questions. However, welcome to the forum, as you can see, there are tons of replies regarding suggestions and tips, you can apply in your gambling casino. Good luck.

It's obvious though, the hype of the name Nakamoto. And we all know what they are trying to do here.

On the contrary, it might backfire on them if gamblers will just look at the domain name and notice it. Just like you and me, we are baffled that they used it to run a casino. In any case, good luck to them, it's a tough niche to begin win and I don't think that using Satoshi name for that matter will help them.
1806  Economy / Speculation / Re: why Bitcoin Dumping ? on: February 24, 2023, 10:52:25 PM
Ok we have seen the price going below $23k now and maybe the reason is

a, higher than expected U.S. inflation data
b, FED interest rate hike

So again, with this kind of negative news, our bullish momentum had stop for now, selling pressures are there, while there are not buyers in the market.

But I think we will bounce back next Month, perhaps in the next 1-2 weeks of March there could be some relieve recover to and maybe we can touch $25k by that time.
1807  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Shakur Stevenson vs Shuichiro Yoshino April 8 on: February 24, 2023, 10:41:17 PM
Are anyone here surprised by the odds?

I just check on sportsbet and Yoshino is 7:1 underdog. For me I'm, it's expected that this is somewhat be relatively easy fight for Shakur against the Japanese. And Shakur should win here and if he does, as per Bob Arum, he will get the winner of the Loma and Haney fight. So that will be the most compelling fight for Shakur next.

I can't really say if I'm surprised or not because somehow I was already expecting that Yoshino will be a heavy underdog in this fight like a 4:1 odds but 7:1? That's like underestimating Yoshino and just another way of saying that there's no way he can stand up against or defeat Shakur Stevenson. To sum up the upcoming fight, I'm not expecting either from the Japanese boxer because I'm seeing him as more like a local and not used to get in the world stage/ring.

Just good thing though that Shakur Stevenson (granting that he won this bout) will get to fight the winner of Loma-Haney fight. That's what I wanted to see.

Yes, that's the word "underestimated" because the bookies are indeed underestimating Yoshino that his chances to defeat Shakur is little less than slim but what can we do, the bookies surely know the chances as well because this debut fight of Shakur highlights him making a statement as he will going to fight either Lomancheko or Haney soon after this. Same here though, I'm also leaning in-favor of Shakur to win by a way of TKO/KO.

Those handicappers really knows what they do, they are good in what they are doing here so I agree with that odds that they released right now. This is going to be no easy fight though for Shakure because Yoshino wanted to break barriers here and fight in the US and this is his chance as he will have the biggest stage to become known.

But it's slim though, we all know how good Shakur is and he wouldn't let someone deter his goals of fighting for the belt next. So we should lean on Shakur with a big win via ko/tko.
1808  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: it will definetly save you on: February 24, 2023, 10:30:06 PM
That's a long list.
But it goes down to only a single point. The "discipline" of one gambler. When should you stop? When will you tell yourself to let it go? What are the reasons for you to stop chasing the losses? At what point is it that you could tell yourself "that's it for the day"?
I mean, without discipline you are going to a point where you could get broke, rekt, or a loaning streak. It always doesn't end up well.
About winning though, at what profit amount is it that you could tell "I've had enough, time to stop"?
This is where sports gambling and casino games differentiating will be a big factor. I like sports gambling more because there's a stop unlike casino games.

I agree mate, the list is too long that we can't even remember a thing or two on that, hehehe.

So the best thing is to quit when you are in the net positive, whether it's sports betting or playing other games like craps, slots and card games. Because if you are greedy and think that you can go on your winning streak then you are wrong. Sooner or later that house edge are going to caught with it. That is statistics and nobody can beat that. So if you have enough then quit, stop or withdraw your money, simply as that.
1809  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How do you keep your gambling habit under control? on: February 24, 2023, 10:19:26 PM
Seeing how many people who are problem gamblers today did not have the intention of becoming gamblers who lack self control but somehow they are now gamblers who cannot control themselves, It means that everyone is at the danger of become such if it is not put in check.

How do you keep your gambling habit in check such that becoming addicted and out of control is something that never happens?

(share your strategy for others to benefit from)

Very hard to control though, even if you think you are not that addicted, but still you want to play every day, or put a bet on every game you like. For me though is to just withdraw your money out of casinos, or just leave a small amount that you can put some bet and that's it. Because let's say you have won a decent amount and still thinks that you can make it big and didn't withdraw, sooner or later if that money dwindles, you may have to think of betting everything in one go. So in my case if I have a successful run and I think that i have made good enough money for me, I immediately withdraw and enjoy the fruits of my winnings.
1810  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: February 24, 2023, 10:09:49 PM
Are you inferring that Chris Paul is the issue on the Suns in the past?  Dude is arguably the best pure point guard in the league still.  One of the smartest basketball players I've seen in a long time.  If the Suns get dropped it's not going to be because of theor point guard play.
Well, commenting on this post too...
CP3 in the past was an excellent player, worthy of being an allstar, but he has been getting older, he is 37 years old.
One thing I would like to comment on is his health/genetic, he is already a player prone to injuries, I believe that is his biggest negative point.

On the other hand, CP3 is a very experienced player, I have no doubt that he can guide the team to the victory (both, regular season and playoffs).

It would be insane for the Suns to win this NBA season.
CP3 would receive his first ring and will also bring the Suns their first championship title.

I'll be curious to see how the team performs with Durant joining the Suns!

Yep understood but anyone who knows ball knows he isn't or never was dictated by his athleticism.  High flyers and crashing guard type players end up useless towards the end of theor career.  He plays a very calm point and would actually argue he has gotten better with age.  Maybe not on the steal side but setting up his team etc I would pick him over most every other pg in the league right now IF I'm looking for someone running a team.  And that's what's needed when you have Durant, book, a good big etc.  Someone to set them up you don't need 5 scorers on the floor at once.

And I think his injuries are not career threatening as well, it could be just the result of wear and tear. Let's just look at the point guards in our generation and how they last as we can compare them to CP3 as well. Steve Nash - 18 seasons, Jason Kidd - 19 seasons, (in which both become NBA coaches  too).

So yeah, I think PG can last long in the NBA, specially not the athletic type of PG as compare to least say, Allen Iverson, 14 years but maybe in that last 3-4 years his game has gone down, or DRose or in the future we might see similar fate for Ja Morant.
1811  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 24, 2023, 09:59:07 PM
Will we ever hear from the Iranian hulk again? Or maybe we should say Iranian dwarf. He made himself completely ridiculous last year for his performance in the stare down against Martin Ford. He then did another boxing match against an amateur boxer and lost there without a chance. Does anyone have any idea who was behind that Iranian hulk circus? It now appears that more and more boxers have used steroids. The Iranian hulk doesn't need that, he just uses Photoshop  Grin

I can't comment on the Iranian Hulk as I haven't follow his career though.

I closely look at Benn case, I read from people who are close to him saying that it was a false positive. Even that time his opponent Chris Eubank Jr. can't believed that result.

And it's good that he is vindicated here, and the first thing that WBC did was strip him of his standings and now he is reinstated. Even Canelo was caught Clen in his system in the rematch with GGG, but again it was false positive. Reason for Benn to be positive is that he consumed two many eggs, while in Canelo, it was the Mexican Beef, which the cattlers feed with steroids so that this cow grow big and that's how the supposedly drugs went into Canelo's system. Even at the height of Pacquiao's ascend to boxing greatness, he was accused of taking drugs too, because no one believed that an Asian guy who started his campaign at 108 lbs and moved as high as 154 lbs and become a champion.
1812  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: NBA 2020-2021 betting on: February 24, 2023, 08:00:11 AM
Here's my pick:

Magic vs Pistons, - I'm taking the Magic -6.5 @1.86
Cavs vs Nuggets - I think Murray and Aaron Gordon is out in this game that's why the Cavs are the favorite -2.5 @ 1.90

I also took the parlay, @3.53.
Same for me...
I have no doubt that the Cavaliers have a great chance of winning this game, without Aaron Gordon and Murray, the Nuggets become a fragile team!

By the way, let's see if in this round I can make good picks!

Unfortunately, Murray did play in this game, ouch, I thought that he will be out, scored 16 points and that is enough for the Nuggets to win.

As for the Magic vs Pistons, it's very close game, Magic just won by 2 points.

So it's a bad day, 0 wins, hehehe.

It's 0/2 for you tonight, sorry mate, some days are just like that, Orlando Magic really didn't take complete charge of the game, even though they did at some point led by as many as 13 point during the 3rd quarter, that was literally the only time they had at least 7 or more points lead, it's pretty much a close game from the very start to finsih.

Yes, he is very instrumental and when I saw that he is going to play, I said I arleady lost my bet already.
1813  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Big businesses, corporations also influence the price of cryptocurrency market. on: February 23, 2023, 11:56:27 PM
I think bitcoin enthusiast are done with Elon Musk and how he influence the price of bitcoin before. And we know that he has his narrative behind so I guess he has no longer that influential to us.

As for the factors that influence the price positively, definitely some good news to come, like let's say big companies like Amazon accepting it as means of payment. Or the US CPI data, which is a good hedge not just for crypto but for any other traditional financial markets. If the CPI data shows higher, then we all affected negatively. But when the numbers shows that inflation is cooling down, then the price might go and increase.
1814  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Nonito Donaire vs Alejandro Santiago for WBC bantamweight title on: February 23, 2023, 11:46:48 PM
Santiago since his draw with Jerwin Ancajas had an 11-1-7 KOs record. His lone defeat was the controversial majority decision of Gary Antonio Russell. He might be underestimated here but he is really capable of beating Donaire by decision.

Right, but we all know, but Donaire will be deliberate in this fight and won't take Santiago lightly as his career is on the line. And because he will be motivated to really win that belt again. I'm looking for his left hook again to finish the fight.

Donaire is fortunate to have Santiago as his opponent in a title match; he's not a very tough opponent, so everyone is expecting Donaire to win and get a belt in his division again. Not having to fight Inoue is a big relief for any contender, so they can now compete on a more level playing field. I'm not saying Donaire will win easily, but at least this opponent is not ranked amongst the best in this division.

Sure he is one exciting boxer to watch while fighting. Even at his age, he is given the chance to win a champ title.
There are certain Donaire fights that really live long in my memory.

The promotion I think wanted to see him up there in the ring and defend the title while the best in this division but it's still risky when he is challenged by a younger contender. This match makes sports betting more like guessing.

There's always that risk though, remember when Donaire tries to move up in division and badly beaten and bloodied by Nicolas Walters and majority says that he is no longer in this prime. But then again he become a champion at bantamweight and beating young and upcoming fighters, as it he is the own stopping them from them becoming a champion except for one Naoya Inoue. And so this might be another case of that, although Santiago is not that young, but I think he is too small for Donaire, and his ko percentage is not that impressive I would say at 40%. So all advantage goes to Donaire and if he executes everything into perfection and didn't go old overnight, he will win this fight.
1815  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Errol Spence vs Keith Thurman on: February 23, 2023, 11:30:53 PM

Yes, definitely he is in the media because after all he become a boxing analyst/commentator and he knows what those guys are saying, specially after he lost to Pacquiao and his recent performance against Mario Barrios.
Losing to Pacquiao is not a big deal in my opinion because Pacquiao is a legend and he is really good, despite his age at that time. There's nothing to be ashamed of, and besides, Pacquiao didn't dominate Thurman. It was a close fight, and Pacquiao was just lucky that Thurman didn't start to be aggressive after he got knocked down. In my opinion, the second half of the fight belonged to Thurman.

So in any case, it's either he will be inspired to proved his doubters wrong and motivate to beat Spence. Or he be 100% but still though that effort will not be enough to beat a prime Errol Spence Jr right now.
We don't know the outcome of the fight, but one thing is certain: he should train hard and give 100%, as a win could definitely change his life.
Yes manny pacman Pacquiao is a legend in the whole boxing industry and we all know that a 8 division champion of the world so without a doubt he can easily defeat big time boxer even if pacmans opponent is in the middle of his  prime career like what Thurman experienced but for this fight it's all new we can see a good and massive  fight during the the day and for sure many people want to see this and also this is one of the big event for this year.

This will be a big challenge for Thurman's side because if he failed to conquer a great boxer in the past who is already past his prime, how much more now because he is up against a great boxer who is still at the height of his prime. Now I know that Thurman is not that old because his age is not that far as he is just 2 years older from his foe, but it's just hard to disregard if it's already a fact. But we'll see, he still got a chance but it will be a forceful fight on his behalf as Spence is not an easy fighter.

Yes, and what's funny is, everyone is talking about him beating Manny, because he has all the advantage and then the trash talk his way on that fight to the put that he really belittles the Legend. But look at what happen to him, he can't beat a past prime Pacquiao and even handed his ass down on the canvass? And then he went on this comeback fight a 140 lbs boxer that Gervonta Davis knock down several times, cut his face and beat him badly and score a tko in 11th. So what more can we ask for Thurman fighting a prime Spence? So we shouldn't be surprised if he get knock down again or even lost by ko/tko.
1816  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Should I buy BNB now? on: February 23, 2023, 11:06:24 PM
Hi guys, Is it too late now to buy BNB? Or can we expect huge price drop in this year?

I don't think it's too late to buy any solid coins like BnB or BTC or ETH. I'm talking about experience here, Like BTC for example, I continue to accumulate even if we enter the bull run, or right after the halving. So I just buy whenever I can, whether thru DCA or any other method that fits my strategy. And obviously it hit a all time high in 2021. So still a period for me to make profits even if the price keeps climbing up that time.

So yes, not to late, just continue to accumulate and never worry about the price drop, you can still buy more though if the price goes down hard. But I wouldn't wait for it.
1817  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: what is your reason for gifting bitcoin on: February 23, 2023, 10:56:10 PM
If $300 worth of bitcoin is given to someone who doesn't have a job and have been looking for opportunity to invest in bitcoin.  Will it be possible for the person to focus on this investment without selling at the moment because of the present financial situation. I'm asking this question because of people who wish to gift bitcoin to people who are going through difficult financial challenge,  is there any need to give bitcoin as gift to people who need money to settle urgent financial problems.

Well if the person that you are going to gift bitcoin hasn't had a job, then what are the chances that he won't sell it after you give it to him?

So I will be on the fence here, although your intention is good, but he might be tempted in the future to sell it to bring food in the table for him and for his family, just saying.

Or bitcoin should only be given to those who can truly invest and yield profits.  Can you gift bitcoin to random people who may not make profit from it.

Again, it really depends on the individual, if the person knows a thing or two about investment then maybe he will treat bitcoin as such. But if the one that you gifted see bitcoin as money, then he might not hold for a long time.
1818  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Stephen Fulton vs. Naoya Inoue - WBC and WBO 122 lbs bout - May on: February 23, 2023, 10:44:17 PM
Yep, that's how he evolved after his very first close against Nonito, he has evolved even more after that. He learn how to phase and then read his opponent and even have the mentality to survived a fight eve if he has that injury already.

And we all know after that fight, he beat Donaire by knockout and same with Butler.

So he is still getting stronger and smarter in any fight and keeps on progressing. So for sure he will know a thing or two against Fulton because he is a great fighter. Inoue has that ability to absorb every strengths of his opponents.
Inoue is on his prime and that makes him an incredibly dangerous fighter, not only he has the intelligence and skill to adjust his fighting style, he still has the physical capabilities to absorb a massive amount of damage and do whatever he wants on the ring, so it is not surprising that despite being the challenger the many different boxing fans around the world think of him as the favorite on his fight against Fulton.
On the time that he's still climbing up the ladder which people around been seeing this young man does have a brittle chin but as we do go along into this fights then he had proved out that we were wrong.

Yes, but we haven't seen his chin tested early though, it was just Donaire who really broke the barriers literally when he fought Inoue the first time. He broke his orbital bone on that fight, but still Inoue tapping on his mentality to even become stronger in the later rounds even if he has suffered that.

Yes, we've seen on his recent fights that he had some tough time on knocking out opponent like Donaire and Butler which it didnt go as planned on having that early KO but still ending up on a win.

And then he get that experience, put it in his shoulders that's why the next time he fights Donaire it was a different result or any other boxer that he fought after that ended in a knock out win for him.
1819  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Caleb Plant vs David Benavidez on: February 23, 2023, 10:32:18 PM
For the latest odds, Caleb Plant is the underdog,

And so it seems that Benavidez power is the overwhelming reasons why he is big favorite, as for Caleb 3:1 underdog good already for a ML bet. I will agree with the odds maker, gonna be hard for Caleb to score a win against a hard hitting David Benavidez who has one mission, to have a fight with Canelo Alvarez in the future.

Plant might win some rounds in the beginning because of his experience hehe. However yes, very much similar to Canelo, it will be Benavidez's strength and his physical presence that will cause him to win this fight. It can also be argued that Benavidez has more strength and physical presence than Canelo.

True, David Benavidez is the bigger and way more stronger that Caleb Plant. There is an interview on one of Benavidez sparring partner and his prediction is that the fight will be a 5 rounder. I forget the name of the kid, he is still young though and has been David's main sparring partner for the last 4 or 5 fights of his according to Sr.

In that particular side, Benavidez really have that edge but considering that Plant also a former champ and have decent experienced fighting with different figthers, he might find ways to avoid any aggressive attempts coming from Benavidez. That prediction might be too much but who knows, if Benavidez will have that chance to box Plant then it can end as early as round 5.

Yeah, and not only that, that is sparring though, yes sparring partners can give their predictions but it's totally different when the main fighter in on the ring with someone that the sparring partner try to emulate. I think the one mentioned sparring partner here is Diego Pacheco, 21 year old super middleweight who has been in the camp of the Benavidez for a long time now.

And I don't think that David will long for early knock out, he said that he is going to punish Caleb so he might delay. He can go with the knock out early if it presents itself though. But I think it's going to be more than 5 round fight.
