241  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Learning from those who have experience on: September 11, 2023, 04:37:37 PM
Learning from experienced players how to control our gambling habits is the best method to escape addiction. Most times it's best to have them around you in real life, watch how they go about their daily activities, it'll help the addicted player to shape his/her bad gambling attitude. One of the things to learn from experts, may include, managing our money by setting out a specific amount that we must stake for the day. If exhausted gambling for the day ends.

The worst part of addiction, is lack of self control. If an addicted person doesn't manage their funds,  when they go broke, you'll see that such person will do anything possible just to gamble or win. Another good strategy is to stay with people friends or relatives who are not gamblers, join them in their daily activities, like sports or useful discussions. This will help the addicted player to forget gambling for some times, thereby reducing the urge to gamble as usual.

How do you imagine it, someone should constantly be near you while you study? It doesn’t work like that, everything happens the other way, you make a mistake and try to understand what needs to be changed so that it doesn’t happen again, in fact, for this you need to make a lot of mistakes that will help you make your own rules that will help you become a better gambler. If you are unable to learn from mistakes, then no experienced teacher will help you...

@Accardo also have a point and we should give him that, but I think there's something missing because you can never have both when it comes to these things. I know what he is trying to say but what he is trying to suggest is also a very risky path because instead of learning from other's mistake by keeping them near, they will in turn give you a negative impact and you will be a gambler as well even before you realized it. Taking this path is not easy but if you're courageous enough, then it's up to you but you should know the risks and its consequence if it turns out trouble along the road.
242  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Saudi Professional League 2023/2024 on: September 11, 2023, 03:46:08 PM
Saudi Arabia Pro League is trying to make big change in the football history with its teams signing deal with leading football stars from different European clubs. It all started with Ronaldo and a big list of players have come into the Saudi Arabia Pro League. With the summer window closing Saudi Arabia Pro League clubs have spent £784 million on players. Among that 87% was spend by the four clubs Al Hilal, Al-Ahli, Al-Nassr, Al-Ittihad.

The budget should be higher, even reaching £1 Billion it's just that some of the targeted players refused/ignored the offer like Neymar the most expensive and others. Even though they have spent that much money, they haven't stopped as if to show that their spending targets have not been achieved, I estimate they prepared 2 Billion to bring in all the star players that doesn't include salary  Cheesy even though we know that in 2-4 years it cannot be guaranteed that they will get a return but they are confident.

Their talent alone will certainly be a benefit for them and for the whole league, there is no question about that, but that is not the only reason why they had offered these enormous amounts to these players even if there are no guarantees in the end because they are also after are the image that comes with the acquisition, exposure and specially, the player's fan bases that also comes with it.
243  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Why newbie may find it difficult to rank up in this forum on: September 08, 2023, 06:32:10 PM
That is it there, most of the members that take ranking up too serious are those that are actually in pursuit of getting into campaigns and these are people that easily get caught up breaking rules.

There are newbies that I would say were here just to get a certain information related to bitcoin and stuffs like that and once they do they just leave off or even come by to read on some things that is why you see accounts of a two year still at newbie rank. Don’t see them as lazy but as people that had different view coming here and. they got it.

As for hunters it is clearly clear what they are here for and as such I wouldn’t blame them either, as you are here for knowledge (which I doubt from your post history), they are here for bounties and luckily the forum provides space for everyone. The only thing is keep to the rules
Being here for bounties is never wrong and I believe a lot of us here are certainly doing that. But the problem is when we are busy joining bounties that we end up ignoring about consistent learning in the forum. By learning I mean that we should still be equipped with knowledge and even skills at a constant basis, so we need not to stop researching and studying because that’s the only we can then make some quality posts and make them valuable for other’s learnings as well.
244  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading bots... do they work? on: September 08, 2023, 05:37:34 PM
Too many people sell these bots, which means that too many of them will say that it works, but they do have a thing out of it and that is why they say it. It is obvious that a salesman will always say that their product is the greatest or they may even undersell it to make you want it even more, things like "I know a lot of people who made a ton of money from it and got rich, but there were silly people who lost as well, I do not know which one you will be" type of thing, I have seen it, I have made it to be fair.

So that is why the true answer is that unless you are some amazing trader then you aren't making a profit from this. Just stay away from it as much as you possibly could and then the return will be better.
Trading bots may actually work but it cannot give you guarantees consistent profitability. Because if they do, then people would not be selling these bots anymore as they could have gained more advantage on it if they will use them personally. However, the reality is successful trading does not rely on these automated trading bots. It’s on the trader’s abilities and skills that made the trades becoming more promising to succeed and make decent profits.
245  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 08, 2023, 02:11:50 PM
With regards to the potential Canelo vs. Bud next year, it sounds crazy but really doable if Canelo approves it. If I were Canelo, I would take it since it is the biggest fight in boxing right now. He will be bashed a lot though if he wins and it could be worse if he loses to someone who moves up two divisions. I like Bud to win but I believe Canelo will be too much and destroy him.
If I'm not mistaken, Canelo already welcomed the idea where he could face Crawford next considering that he will win in his upcoming fight against Charlo. It's just a matter of time though, what we need to know now is if Crawford is still that powerful and fast at 154 against Spence before he proceeds towards 168. I know that he's big and so 154 or 168 will be okay for him but that alone can't make him win.
All I heard and read before was that Canelo seemed interested but at 168. But after Crawford changed his tune and became interested in making that ambitious historic feat, Canelo is showing some hints that he is uninterested because he wouldn't get any credit if he wins. But I felt like Canelo is just trying to make an impression to the public that he is not the one pushing this mega fight. Canelo will propose this fight if Bud wins his rematch with Spence. I believe Crawford no matter how good he is in his current division, will be at a whole new level at 168. Financially, he is high-reward and low-risk fight for Canelo at 168. And Crawford at 36 with lesser reflexes, Canelo is not a welterweight and might just eat his punches just to land his own big punishing shots.
It's all part of Canelo's plan including that one where he seemed not interested because there's no benefit for him if he will fight Crawford but in reality, it's the opposite thing because he just wanted to make the people more hungry and thirsty so that their fight will be a headline for sure. And while that statement is true, Canelo should know his position mainly now that boxers in this industry are already looking at him down as he was showing some signs of weakness lately.

And if I were Canelo and knows personally that there is nothing goin on aside from getting older in the daily basis, then I'd say that I'll be happy to accept their invitation if they are really that interested because either way, it's a win-win situation and a huge paycheck for me is waiting, and lastly, the last laugh will always belong to me.
246  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2026 :Canada/Mexico/United States: Discussion Thread on: September 08, 2023, 07:48:56 AM
I don't think that would be a greater problem as the number of teams are up from 32 to 48. Even though Canada, Mexico and United states are let in without qualifier, there are 14 more slots available than the last time. Increasing 16 teams at once means there would be 50% more teams than last time competing in this tournament. The tournament would last longer and there would be increased number of matches.
The idea of including larger number of diverse team are inline with creating a global tournament but how the people would react to the longer format is not clear yet. I personally believe 104 matches which are nearly double from last tournament would be fine as it's once in a 4 year event and everyone would attract larger viewership than last tournaments.

I don't agree with this argument. It is good that FIFA has increased the number of participants from 32 to 48. But what this has to do with undeserving teams gaining direct entry? Next time it is going to be even more complicated. There are going to be combined bids from Spain–Portugal–Ukraine–Morocco, as well as from Uruguay–Argentina–Chile–Paraguay. If any of the nations win right to host the tournament, then a number of weaker teams will gain direct entry to the tournament at the cost of more deserving teams. Increasing the number of participants is not going to resolve this issue.

The industry will always grow bigger as they move closer to its projected goal but just like what you've said, what they are doing now will not resolve the problem because lots of countries will now try to move forward while combining their bids to other neighboring countries. 4 hosts in one event might be a good idea because the benefit will be shared thoroughly and equally but for the event, it will not resolve anything specially if the teams of these four countries will be granted an automatic qualification which is quite unfair already.
247  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Bitcoin and get rich quick syndrome on: September 07, 2023, 09:47:37 PM
Getting rich quick with bitcoin is never real. Those who are saying this are certainly seeing bitcoin as a wrong way and have never been actually in the investment process so they never had experienced how it feels to lose from bitcoin investment. While some are making exceptional profits from bitcoin, a lot are also suffering from losing their funds in an instant.
248  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is actually a Bitcoin investor on: September 07, 2023, 09:08:12 PM
You have bitcoin? Then you're a bitcoin investor. You don't have it, then you're not a bitcoin investor. That's simple as that, as long as you have it on your wallet and you have spent money for buying then you are in the category of being a bitcoin investor. There's also this instance that you're still a bitcoin investor but you haven't spent any penny on it. How? When someone gives it to you and you hold now full custody on it then that's still considered that you're a bitcoin investor if you have kept it and have no plans yet of selling it. There's no need to make things very confusing so if it's no longer in your posession and you sent your bitcoin as a payment, you don't have it anymore. Therefore, you're no longer an investor of it but you used to be.
Probably buying bitcoin is a sign that you wan to invest on it, even if others just want to buy it because it’s cheap but have no real intention to sell it in the future but only spend it for good when it’s value has skyrocket. However, as for my personal perception, a bitcoin investor is that one that buys and keeps his bitcoin in his wallet and just sell it when the price doubles or triples its starting price. That way, if he intend to sell for profits, then he’s actually a real investor.
249  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Seeking Passive income offer with low risk on: September 07, 2023, 09:42:33 AM
Staking would be the common solution. I personally don't have any idea to recommend on how to earn passive income in cryptocurrency right now aside from staking. It's a long bear market and maybe this is the time for you to invest on your chosen token as we are nearing the bull market. The long term plans might have a much worth that small gains you can get today.

Providing service would be the safest choice to generate income but yes, it's not a passive income.
I have to agree with this. Staking is what I see that will still help you earn crypto rewards and maximize your incentives especially that we are still in a bearish market, and would be a good preparation for the upcoming bullish season. However, there are also know consequences about staking. But one can simply adjust to it especially that we are looking here for long term rewards and incentives.
250  Economy / Economics / Re: Are you risking investment in other things? on: September 06, 2023, 09:13:10 PM
There is a halving coming next year to which many people who know and have bitcoins have set a target of the amount they hope to have in their holding by the time the bull run begins. I like to know if with this knowledge of bitcoin halving coming, if anyone is investing in anything other than bitcoins. I do not mean alt-coin but things like Real Estate, stocks, bonds etc. I know that Real Estate is good to invest in, but asides real estate, what else are you risking the money you should to invest more in bitcoins on?
I want to diversify my investments as much as I want but I don’t think I have sufficient funds for it. For now, my focus is into bitcoin accumulation and hodling, and through DCA I know I can make a good preparation for the upcoming bitcoin halving. Probably when I’ve gained enough profits after that, that could be a perfect time to risk into another investment like gold or stocks.
251  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing: Regis Prograis vs Devin Haney on: September 06, 2023, 03:08:20 PM
I still wanted this fight to be a show though, maybe the Haney's are cooking something and then in the last minute, will inform that this fight is a go. This fight is schedule for October so there's a lot of leeway for both teams to make the fight.
I'm hoping for the same thing too but I'm curious though, we're now in the month of September but still both camps are quite about it. There are even no news that are saying that their fight is already set and that their contract is already signed by both camps so it will really happen in the month of October.
So, if they are looking forward for the same thing then both of them should've agreed with the terms by now because time flies fast and the next thing we know, we're already in October.

October is good but as of this moment, they are already behind their supposed timeline and they can't just suddenly announce it now that their fight will still happen at their agreed date because there are a lot of factors that they needed to be considered first specially after the fact that next month is already October.

I suppose that their negotiation will resume before this month ends because from what I know, Regis was targeting the 28th of October and Haney's camp doesn't want it as that is the very same day of the Fury vs Ngannou fight. I think that's also the reason why Haney's camp suggested that they should move in an earlier date.
252  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIBA Basketball World Cup 2023 - Betting and Discussions on: September 06, 2023, 01:18:11 PM
Canada vs. Slovenia is up next. According to the bookies, Canada is the heavy favorite to win. But who among us here believes we're going to see an upset?

On the sportsbook I'm using, here are the odds:

Canada: 1.31 or -7.5
Slovenia: 3.65 or +7.5

Can Luka carry his team?

The game has started. Well, considering this is a do-or-die game and Slovenia is still a decent team, I think I would choose the handicap. Canada is probably the next best team after Team USA, but this is a big challenge for them. Let's see how they'll compete against Slovenia. If they win this game dominantly, it would prove they are ready for the next stage.

I'm rooting for LUKA! I hope he gets this big win.
Canada is double-teaming Luka, but Slovenia has already anticipated this, as they have ready shooters who are willing to take the shot when Luka struggles to find an opening. The game is still close, with Canada leading by just 4 points. By the looks of it, it seems like it's anybody's ball game. Let the fun continue as Slovenia takes a little break with a timeout. They don't want Canada to take a big lead; they need to make an adjustment right away.

They are now approaching the second half of the game and we can see that Canada are somehow struggling against Slovenia even though it's predicted that they will not have that much trouble. Scores are still tight because Luka and company do always have some answers whenever Canada makes some shots. Now the question is, will the Canada retain its status as undefeated or it will be the opposite of it? This will be a good game folks! Good luck to all who already placed their bets.

This what i found over 400 members i'll join becouse i want to trade together like team they are ispired by wall Street ...i like to slogan "u got to pump up rookie numbers "  Nice idea

Their Facebook link so far looking decent group

Link: https://m.facebook.com/groups/3093147371003425/
Do not worry, you will later know that they are not wall street. You will know later that they do not care about you but that they only care about their own pocket when they will give you signals that will not work for you.

But what I am most suspecting is that you are only encouraging people to join because you are one of the people that created the signal group.

People should avoid this but to learn how to trade themselves.
You got it right. Same with my thoughts on this trading group. It can only be profitable at first but when they see you are already attached to it intensely, they will start to feed you with wrong signals that will never work on you, or on anyone else. Simply because they’re up for their own financial desires, not actually to help you with your own pocket. Sorry to offend you OP but I just hope you’re not one of these people who talk about Wall Street just to attract and take advantage of the innocent traders.
254  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: September 05, 2023, 03:38:25 PM
Being honest is good, even though Tapales is our very own, it's hard to be biased. Inoue is the better fighter, and most likely, he will win the fight. His camp is probably already planning for his next fight, as Tapales doesn't possess the killer instinct that could trouble Inoue in the ring. Our best chance now to witness a great fight is if Inoue vs. Casimero happens. It might not seem as interesting in terms of what's at stake for Inoue, as he would be a unified champion by then. However, in terms of pure competition, I think that's what we're hoping for.

This is Inoue's division for now (122lbs) and we should taper down our expectations on Tapales because the chance is very slim for him to win this fight. Casimero's chance on landing a fight with Inoue is if he became a mandatory challenger on one of the belts but he should also be winning his every fight convincingly so the boxing community would glamour to see that Casimero vs Inoue fight to happen.

That's necessary, though, and he understands it's his only chance to fight Inoue. Being a mandatory challenger would give him the assurance that he will be able to fight the champion. Even before, he kept challenging Inoue, so it's about time he's given a chance, especially since he's not getting any younger. Maybe it's a big satisfaction for him to be able to challenge Inoue before he retires. Still, it depends on the outcome of the fight. If Casimero loses, it could be the end of his journey, but if he wins, big fights are certainly waiting ahead.

What do you think, if Inoue were to fight Casimero, can there be a rematch clause in the contract?

Well, judging the both of their situation, I'd say that Inoue's camp will be the ones to purse a rematch clause because they cannot just be that sure that nothing bad will happen as Filipino boxers are known to be unpredictable at the most unexpected times. But for Casimero, he will not care if there's a rematch clause or not because what's important to him right now is a fight with Inoue and a second fight is already too much too ask.
255  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: September 05, 2023, 02:27:52 PM
There is a rumor floating around that Errol Spence had broken his ties with long time trainer Derrick James.
Again, this is just a rumor and could be fake news, but we all know that when fighters suffer their first defeat, they usually change trainers.
Just like with Anthony Joshua. And they said that the replacement will be Roy Jones. But that's where it gets interesting as Roy Jones for me is not a good trainer.
This is not good for Spence if this is true, if he is going to change it should be a trainer that is better than his current trainer, it will take a lot of time for both of them to familiarize each other they will need a tune-up fight first to fully familiarize or if Roy Jones style and method is suited for Spence.
Spence I believe is devastated he will not think of changing his trainer if he is not, They have gone a long way, and the loss in fact is a big challenge for both of them to improve, Derrick James' replacement just proved that Spence is ready to take a risk just to get even with Crawford.
It might and might not work for Spence if he switch coaches specially in a rematch. And it's true, and so as almost all other sports. It will be the coaches that will get the blame if a team or a individual losses a hight stake game.

So for me it's a bad move for Spence. Just stick with Derrick James, this is just his first lost under James and maybe also Derrick learn a lot from the first fight. James also become trainer of the year as well, so his credentials speak for himself. Pacquiao didn't change trainer when he lost, but instead him and coach Freddie try to improved in their next fights.

I looked it up and it seems to me that it's just a fake news meant to destroy their credibility or something like that, and I saw a video in YouTube that somewhat explains Spence's camp current issue. Other than that, if this thing were true, at all, there should be some articles made already saying that Spence severed his ties with his long-time trainer, Derrick James.

But since there aren't any, then it's quite safe to say that this rumor is not true at all. I'd say that it's a bold one yet a bad move if Spence is going to find another trainer and he doesn't need any of that at this point of his career specially if he's looking forward for a rematch against Crawford.

Without a concrete evidence or public announcement it will remain as rumor, I agree with you in terms of trying to prepare himself in a possible rematch, he needed someone who already been there for him and already witness what happened to the last matchup, they just need to create a strategy that may fit to counter Crawford's sets of combination.

More on the side where it's better to assume that they are just creating this or the media might just use this to keep the hype alive
so when a rematch got negotiated, both camps are still in the same levels of hypes.

Yes, about that. I've heard that Errol Spence already activated the rematch against Terence Crawford and that it will happen at 154 pounds.
Now, are there any details about their future fight? Because I'm thinking that there might be some troubles on their timeline as Crawford is now waiting for the winner of Charlo-Canelo fight.
256  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: presuring someone into Bitcoin investment on: September 05, 2023, 09:24:34 AM
That's right, there's no need to pressure people into investing in Bitcoin. While Bitcoin has high potential for the future, it also comes with high risk. When people invest without understanding what they're doing and simply follow the hype for possible returns, they may blame you if the investment doesn't pan out.

Knowledge is crucial so that they don't panic when the market experiences fluctuations. It's important to understand that there are ups and downs, bears and bulls in the market. As an investor, one should be aware of these possibilities. It's encouraging to see people returning to plan their investments because they have a better understanding. Hopefully, everyone will do their research so that there are no more uninformed investors thinking that investing in Bitcoin guarantees a profit.
Pressuring people to invest into any investment particularly bitcoin will only make them doubt your sincerity, and they might be thinking that you’re probably pushing them to invest and when they start losing, you’ll become responsible of their instant losses. That is why it’s never on my personality to convince people to trust and invest bitcoin. Instead, when I see them become interested on it, I keep on advising them to research first and learn a lot from bitcoin before they’ll decide to risk some money. Bitcoin is highly risky so one needs to prepare for it before entering the crypto market.
257  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 03, 2023, 03:52:34 PM
Giannis is not that different and he thinks that it's much better that way rather than to be called as a star player with no history in the league. And indeed, duplicating what they did in the past couple of years will be hard to them because the league has improved along with its teams.

We certainly cannot blame him if he doesn't want to play as a hypocrite because in this industry, let's be real, you might be a superstar but you sure cannot make your name unforgettable to the people specially to the future generations if you don't have that much achievements and cannot win more rings along with the team of your choosing. The era today is already very different to the era that we've known and today, it's not that surprising anymore to see star players requesting a trade to get strong chances.
258  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 03, 2023, 02:52:30 PM
I think with regards to giving Casimero a chance, Casimero must prove himself a bit more on this weight division.  He must secure impressive wins against his upcoming opponent to impress the boxing council and possibly consider him as the top contender of that division.
He certainly needs to prove everything in this division because it's not the same anymore when he was still at 118 where he dominated each and every opponent he faced.
This time, it's new to him and the people, even the bodies are still not that convinced of what he did hence why he got a much lower rank because if these bodies have thought the opposite then Casimero should've started in the Top 10 like the other boxers who made a name in their previous weight classes.

I agree, in 118 lbs it was different Casimero that we have seen as he put up a destruction path, beating his opponents by KO/TKO along the way.
But this time, this is 122 lbs and we can say that he is relatively unknown, and the way he introduce himself, not looking good, no highlight KO win or anything.
One is controversial ending his first fight, and the second it was a 12 round decision.
So now he needs to proved himself by winning against a not so good opponent, a cherry pick fight for him to look good and maybe he can get the attention of Inoue.
Maybe in this fight, we will finally see a KO win from him. It has been proven on his side that when a fighter moves up in weight, their power can be affected. Perhaps that's the reason why he hasn't been as destructive lately, unlike Inoue, who has been able to maintain his power and speed in the new division. I don't see any reason for Inoue not to fight Casimero, considering he's the best fighter. So, let's hope that Casimero continues to win and has an impressive victory.

Inoue's path to winning all the belts would be easy, as Tapales is not a top-ranked fighter. While he was a champion, he wasn't as popular as Casimero. So, I believe his reign as champion will be short-lived.
I'm also looking forward about it because I'm also waiting to see if Casimero still have the power to knock his opponent out, that fight against Ryo Akaho is not included, IMO, because that was a messed up fight. Casimero deserved that fight and deserved to celebrate at the end of the fight, but for some reasons, Akaho became an Oscar awardee because of his acting skills he showed and hence why the fight has ended much earlier.

This time, this is his chance to show that he still have that knock out power because his foe, Oguni doesn't possess anything that can truly challenge the Filipino pride. And if he still cannot knockout Oguni, I think it's too much for him to ask for a fight with Inoue. Just saying.
259  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: ~If you must trade~ on: September 01, 2023, 05:37:53 PM
For the members who said that it's about emotion, I agree with you. Most people, not just traders, lose it when emotions are involved. Imagine someone having that feeling brewing inside them, and when it pops, it's just not under control. It's dangerous when we are talking about emotions.

Many people agree that it's one of the causes that could make you lose a trade and be emotional and feel that you could overcome it because you have thought of it before. It's dangerous to rely on emotions.
Traders are certainly battling with their own emotions. Without emotional control when you trade, it's like you only trade to lose. That is why emotions when tolerated in trading will only lead to more losses and frustrations. Also, patience plays a big role in successful trading. You can't be one profitable trader and crypto investor if you can't be patient not just for short duration but certainly for long term.
260  Other / Off-topic / Re: Keeping your gambling habit a secret. on: September 01, 2023, 03:12:17 PM
This won't work because once you get addicted, your families will question your stressful looks and where your money goes after you get them. Sometimes people who hide their gambling habits fall into debt because they don't want to ask for money from their parents siblings or friends and in the end, they will just know the truth because a person like this will lose every chance he has to hide it.
I have a real experience of this. I have seen a friend of mine who gambles constantly. When he lost all his money, he tries to borrow. He had enough respect that people would lend him as much money as he asked. But when he loses gambling again, he again borrows money from other people. Thus he gambled for some time. At some point no one lends him money. Then he felt very worried after losing the money and he took loan from various financial institutions. But when it's time to pay the money, he fails to return the loan money and all the lenders visits their house and the family learns about his gambling activities. Then his gambling issue was no longer suppressed.

I am the one who lends money to my friends to gamble. I know he is a gambling addict. When he came to ask me about the loan, he said he needed money to take care of his family. I put aside all doubts and gladly lend it to him. The last thing I told him was not to take money to play cards. The truth is that my trust was misplaced. I just lost money and lost friendships.

I am also a person who could be addicted to gambling, but my addiction never affects the people around me. Only sometimes, when I lose a bet, do I say bitter words.

That's somehow normal mainly after the fact that you've said, the good thing is that you had a valid reason but make sure that after any heated argument, you should know when to apologize so that the wound will heal afterwards because if you don't, maybe those words will be as lethal as destroying someone's life just because you lose a bet.

But for the experience you got, fortunately for me, they respected me for what I am and even if I'm their friend who is also a gambler, they aren't coming to me to loan some money just to gamble and will only loan for emergencies only because value our friendship. You know, money can break things apart if it's not handled correctly.
