DYIP again playing with no competitiveness against Magnolia.

They are only in the 1st half but the Magnolia already had a 20+ points lead.
It's really disappointing to see a team like this, while the Blackwater keeps winning, they are doing the opposite side.

Blackwater is already 5-1, while DYIP is 0-7. Sad
1102  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: July 07, 2022, 01:26:04 PM
I'm looking at odds before the upcoming fight here everything has been unchanged for several days now https://box.live/boxing-betting/magsayo-vs-vargas-odds / however, the bookmakers' bets have changed in favor of Vargas' victory, apparently local bets in his favor prevail, I think this gives Magsayo additional motivation to win.
He has no choice, he needs to be motivated to win the fight so he will remain a champion. It's a tough challenge on his first defense but winning this will make him more popular and big fights will be coming for him. His idol is Manny Pacquioa,  so he should work hard to achieve big success in boxing.

I think it will be good for him when he has no choice and his back is against the wall. He will be somewhat force to really get his first title defense win by hook or by crook.

Definitely, a win might slingshot his career just like his idol in Manny. For fights and more money if he prevails against the Mexican Vargas.

That's why he has to work hard and improve his stamina so he will last and he would still have the power in the end. This is a firepower fight because Vargas is also a legit challenger, he has more fights and has a better KO rate, so it's not really easy for Magsayo that's why he is listed as an underdog despite he is the champion.

Here's the salary of the Wizards roster.

https://www.spotrac.com/nba/washington-wizards/cap/

Porzingis is next to Beal with $33 million by next season, and I don't think the Wizards will try to trade him but I'm sure there's still some place to add role players that will make the roster of the Wizards deep.

Porzingis has good stats but if you look at his impact in the actual game, it's not that much that's why Dallas let him go. Now, that he was out in Dallas, they became a better team and they beat the Suns IIRC in the playoffs who is the favorite to win the NBA championship. I think they should also try to trade Porzingis for a younger and a healthy player/s.

^ Yes, I also check and the other betting options is already available.

Magsayo by KO is 5.00 and Vargas 6.20. And then looking further, it seems that sport bookies are looking for this fight to go to distance.

On the other hand, some of us might think that the fight will not go to distance. We are looking for Magsayo to convince with a huge win by knock out.

I will take the KO win by Magsayo, this is a big odds and an opportunity for those who believe that Magsayo will win here by KO. Thank you guys for notifying us about the odds, I'm also waiting for the full odds.

Same here, I would not hesitate to take that odds as we don't usually see that kind of very attractive odds for a champion. Besides, we are supporting Magsayo here so it's a big treat for us especially if he will successfully defend his title via KO. I have to be honest, Vargas on record is really tough, but I believe Magsayo will do the work to KO him.
And he will definitely wanted to go for a KO, as he said in his interview. He noticed though that Vargas loves to fight backwards so it's a question whether he wants to engage Magsayo or not.

And if doesn't then Mark said they are also ready as he has spared with different kind of boxers, from brawlers to defensive fighters. So this is going to be a interesting fight and possibly he will look for a KO no doubt.
Vargas has some pride, he would not back down and we might see a toe to toe fight which will definitely lead to an early knockout. I like the chance of Magsayo winning by KO in the range round 1-3, and looking at the betting odds, that's very attractive as well. So you guys, are you willing to pull the trigger on that?

1107  Economy / Economics / Re: Why You should not worry about BTC price action on: July 05, 2022, 10:34:40 PM

From the graph, it shows that in 2010 from a low of $0.09, it rose to $26.90 by 2.960%. fast forward to 2014-2015, we experienced a price dipping from a high of $1,238 to $687.50 then to $315.21.
Bitcoin holders experienced surplus in the period of 2016- 2021. In October of 2021, it climbed to an all time high of $68.991k but slumped to $49,243k in Nov of the same year.
Coming to 2022, we've had series of price fluctuations with recent lows of $17,700k. This is not the first time BTC slump is experienced in the market; so if there was a massive spike in 2013, 2019 and 2021, then possibly we should expect a price rocketing soon and this time it will be above $100k.https://bitcoinmagazine.com/culture/bitcoin-price-action-does-matter
Hopefully, everyone will be able to understand about how bitcoin moves in the market and realize that in the end, bitcoin won't settle for a very low price. The reason why we should not worry as everything that is happening at the present will not be forever and will soon to vanish in the market and replace with high and impressive value. History has proven it, and its more likely that what had happened in the past will also be a thing in the present.
1108  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Benjamin Cowan named the four most promising altcoins on: July 05, 2022, 10:14:36 PM
I thought that I might be impressed with Ethereum's current rate for the fees. It seemed to be lower and I don't know who actually this guy is. I may reckon his opinion for the choices that he has because they've got their own networks and blockchain projects that have chosen to work with them.

It's missing BNB but that's all.

We can have our opinions on which alt may have the best future of them all. After all, it's still the market to decide and the community to have them placed at the top.
I also think there's nothing wrong with these altcoins that Benjamin has mentioned, they are quite established and are simply good for long term hodling. However, we may have different choices in the market, because some find them profitable while others have never experience making profits from them, so its still an individual's choice. In the end, they won't stay in the market if they start losing their value and will certainly be placed on the last spot in the market list.
1109  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: advice for who are witnessing this market for the first time. on: July 05, 2022, 04:05:26 PM
Patience will help a lot in this situation. It may have been repeatedly said but it is the only way.
You cannot force it when there's really nothing that can be done. Just like what happened when the last bear came. It went below $3k if my memory serves me correctly, you'll get mad just thinking about how far it went down but at the end of the day, you cannot do anything about it.
Perhaps if you have some spare money or you sold at the peak, you can use that to just pile up more cryptocurrencies that are trusted and just wait for another pump to come.
In a type of market that is so much volatile and unpredictable, patience will certainly create an advantage. Lucky are those who can endure the long term bearish market while seeing their investments falling, because they can be big winners when the market gradually turns bullish. However, for those who easily leave the market because they can’t endure the losses and resort into panic selling, regretting will always be seen in the end.
1110  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are we gradually approaching towards the end of Bitcoin? on: July 05, 2022, 03:11:03 PM

If it is said that this will be near the end of bitcoin, then how in the past when bitcoin crashed worse than today. right now BTC is still in the $20k price area and this is still very high. The decline will definitely occur, after that the bull market will come back, we just need to be patient and prepare cold money to buy bitcoin and some supporting altcoins.
What happened today is not new to us since bitcoin has already reached its cheapest value already when it settled at $3k, afterwards it quickly recovered and reached a new all time high. So it was never a dead end for bitcoin, because it’s just a part of a long term bearish market. Now, history repeats itself. And even if bitcoin hits another bottom price, it will never collapse but only drop for a while and then end up recovering.
1111  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How quick does the market grow during bull market? on: July 04, 2022, 09:22:49 PM
Hi ,

First started crypto in February this year so am new to all of this and the current bear market we are going through.

I have so far invested £4,500 and my portfolio is down 45%. I have not sold any of my positions and have kept buying at these low prices with the intention of holding until the bull market comes and I can cash out some nice profits.

I have been dollar cost averaging the last 5-6 weeks since we had our first real crash in May which means I now have pretty good average buys for all my holdings so hopefully when the bull market does come again it will take no time at all for me to be in profit.

I understand none of us know exactly when the next bull market will be here but I am just wondering if anyone could give me their experience with what it was like during previous bull markets and how fast we can expect our investments to grow again?

You can only tell that the bull season is here when you see the prices of bitcoin and the rest of altcoins continue to surge and consistently showing positive market feedbacks until they all reach their new ATH. But of course, bitcoin will always be the first coin to skyrocket and then influenced the whole crypto market. And when that happens, we will expect that our long term hodling has paid off and it will bring huge profits before more than we expected.
1112  Economy / Economics / Re: You win or you learn. on: July 04, 2022, 07:16:51 PM
Recently I was reading one of the famous books called " Rich Dad and Poor Dad". This quote just changed my thoughts and reduces my depression. Like many others, I myself also made a huge loss in this recent BTC crash.

When I first came to the crypto world I start with only a laptop. This was all I have and I made a good amount of money because of the last bull season. But because of poor money management and lack of experience, I took a big amount of loss too. I do make some losses but the lesson learned is priceless.

1. Money management is very important. It is better to have some plan than no plan.
2. Opportunity will come again and again so do not FOMO.
3. Anything could go to zero no matter how big the project is(Luna disaster).

Now I know how cash circulates into the crypto markets. I know fundamentals are the most important part of a project. I again could do mistakes in the next bull season but I will be more mature than to handle the situation. I do take some losses but the lesson it gave me would save a hell lot of money in the future.
This is why in the crypto market, either you win or lose in trading or investing, the result will still be worth it. Because if you think you lose your funds, that mistake also teaches you and leaves a good lesson to learn, which i think will be a good motivation to improve yourself and not to do the same mistake again  because for sure you will gain the same result. So definitely, there is still a win-win scenario that takes place. And while you chase for profits but still end up with some mistakes, i think that's also part of learning in crypto.
1113  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Debunking misconceptions about Crypto Currencies on: July 03, 2022, 09:50:52 PM
It is up to us to debunk misconceptions about Crypto Currencies...
Unfortunately, some people as a result of the misconceptions that they have accommodated, they have even without knowing taken wrong conclusions that crypto is not good for them, while others that crypto is a scam. As crypto hodlers we must try as much to assist those who have been ill informed with proper information and proof. In trying to debunk a certain misconception, we must do it constructively and not in a manner that can mistaken for being rude or forceful.
Good education and its consistent learning in crypto is the key to simply debunk all the misconceptions we had when we are still in the process of crypto learning. Unfortunately, some people just ignore it and continue to believe that their own concepts are right which i think the reason why they often lose in crypto. Debunking misconceptions will always create positive changes, but we should always know that anyone can do it not to create superioriy but because one is more knowledgeable and more experienced than the other.
1114  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: El Salvador Purchase More Bitcoin At $19,000 Each on: July 03, 2022, 09:06:26 PM
Nayeeb has proven himself to be a real friend of bitcoin. The guy tied his country’s future to bitcoin which takes lots of courage. He indeed believes in the tech and he is not just words. He is putting his (and his countrymen’s) money where his mouth is. A true bitcoin defender and a holder. History will write songs about this man.
This man is more of faith and a true believer of bitcoin. Even if a lot of FUDs have been spreading that bitcoin is soon to collapse and crypto will be over, Bukele has remained calm and show a perfect picture on what to do when there's a big crash in the market. His action shows his real identity, and it takes a lot of courage to stand firm with this market condition and still hopes at the end of the day, all his wise efforts and persistency in bitcoin will paid off, and that the whole countrymen will benefit.
1115  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does bitcoin dump have any impact on gamblers ? on: July 01, 2022, 11:29:44 AM
Gambling usually does not have a significant effect on the reduction of BTC price. If the Gamblers have not stabilized their BTC then they will be fallen in problem due to losing assets but I think they have the opportunity to earn more at that moment. They can earn fixed satoshi which can be a large amount of asset if they hold that for long time especially when btc price will be increased.
Forget about the volatility of the price, we are gambling, not trading.

We can only earn more if we win our bets, but if not, then we will lose money.
Being a gambler and a trader is an opposite thing, you cannot do both effectively because you need your focus in order to be successful, and you cannot focus on both.
1116  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: July 01, 2022, 10:02:21 AM

I trust him now because I like the fact that he is listed as an underdog in this fight, looks like a little insult on him since he is supposed to be the favorite as a champion. Well, looks like bookies have listened to bettors or some bettors are pounding Magsayo that's why there are some odds movement.

Odds now are as follows.

magsayo 1.88
Vargas 1.83.

That was the odds probably many see Vargas will win the game.  Since Vargas's performance in his previous weight class is exemplary having a record of 35 - 0 with 22 KO in his arsenal. Having more fight experience than Magsayo who has 24 - 0 with 16 KO, many sports fan thinks that Vargas has the upper hand between the two boxers.  Regardless, this is a test for Magsayo and I also hope that he will prove himself to those who doubt him being the champion.

I like to see this one to know if Magsayo could really take on big challenges.

it's his first division that he won as a champion, so if he wants to be a pound for pound boxer, he needs to defend by winning every fight before thinking of going up. Too much pressure on this young fell as there are plenty of boxing enthusiast that still not convince by his real potential, so it's time for him to silence these people by winning this fight.
1117  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 01, 2022, 09:29:21 AM
The 2nd game is getting entertaining to watch, I though that this game would be boring because Phoenix struggle big time to score in the 1st quarter, but now we are already in the 3rd quarter and the game is very close already, in fact, I think Phoenix has a good chance of winning the game because they have the momentum here.
That game was very unpredictable, Phoenix supposes to win the game but they allow the NLEX to come back and bring the game into OT. Too bad for the Phoenix because they are already short-handed but they also got Wright and Anthony fouled out in the game, so these two were not available in the extra regulation.
Yeah, I saw that game, that was a classic game, it's the PBA game that I like to see, a close game and a game that went to OT, it's very entertaining in short.

Meanwhile, the first game today was also entertaining, TNT beat the DYIP with their big run in the 2nd half alone, this team is scary.

35-19, 30-19, that's for the 2nd half alone.

And we have Williams who produced 31 points, the best player.
1118  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing]: Ryan Garcia vs Javier Fortuna - July 19 on: June 30, 2022, 12:52:12 PM
If he beat Fortuna he should force his promoters to fight Tank because Tank is always ready to fight anybody.

That would be a nice treat for us, Garcia vs Tank Davis, such a big fight that every fan would not miss to watch. I think if that fight will happen, I can already expect a KO, either from Garcia or Davis, but most likely Davis will get the KO if Garcia is not fully focus in the fight.
1119  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Mark Magsayo vs Rey Vargas WBC Featherweight Title (July 9) on: June 30, 2022, 12:32:56 PM

This is Magsayo's first title defense after all that's why I'm seeing him as a more pumped and hyped here compared to the challenger.

We have to trust Magsayo to win here, although he is slightly underdog I think he can get this win. It's a very tough challenge but as long as he follow the game plan and always believe he can KO his opponent, sure he will be successful in defending his belt.

Everyone is excited here, may I know if you guys know how to watch this fight online?

I trust him now because I like the fact that he is listed as an underdog in this fight, looks like a little insult on him since he is supposed to be the favorite as a champion. 1120  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: June 29, 2022, 12:08:15 PM
I also don't think that Clippers should trade John Wall. He hasn't been playing in any game since April 24, 2021. This is a huge interval for a basketball player and it is hard to rely on that player again for some time at least. They can at least monitor his performance at Rockets for some time and then decide what to do. He was of course a very talented player but we don't know how he will return. I also agree with @Yaunfitda that Clippers should already be comfortable with George and Leonard for now.
Wall does not play because he doesn't like his team, he just wants to be traded and I don't think because he didn't play that will lessen his value. IMO, Wall still belongs to the league of superstar in the NBA, and he can be a big help for the Clippers campaign to win a championship.

Remains to be seen, and it sound familiar (Harden), but it's not going to be easy for him as Clippers have already a established stars in Kawhi and PG13. How will he fit? for sure he will dislodge some of their players already like Reggie Jackson who has been playing good last season. On the contrary, it could backfire on them if Wall see that he is not giving enough time on the floor and then not giving his 100% every game, just saying.

Wall would not do that, if he wants to shine again, he should do it with the Clippers as this team is a championship team. Reggie Jackson already know his role before he joined the Clippers, if I'm not mistaken, he wasn't a starter when he first join the Clippers, so with Wall, I'm sure he will give way.

Chemistry is the most important, everyone should play according to their respective roles.
