1181  Economy / Economics / Re: Food crisis coming? What's wrong about it? It could be good on: June 08, 2022, 08:36:25 PM
I've read a few articles explaining that a food crisis is coming, I want to tell you something about it. There will be no food crisis for me.
Price of pasta, price of cooking oil, rice or meat will increase 20%? 30%?

That's all right. I don't care much. I can handle it, just like most people in developed countries. We don't spend much on food, increasing that budget by a third is perfectly fine.

The problem will be with the poor countries, but I wonder: is it a problem, or a solution?

There were 100 millions people living in Africa in 1900. Now, there are over 1,500 millions people there. I know that some people live a in a fantasy world thinking that there will be food, jobs, modern housing and all creature comforts for every human, but that won't happen. We live in a finite world, and the population just cannot grow without limit. Number one rule of the world has always been the survival of the fittest...
It will always be a problem for poor countries because it will create more struggles for the people just to survive. Even if we say that the government is responsible for all their citizens, but in most cases when a country is poor, the financial budget is also very low that it can hardly cater to all the basic needs of the people. Some elite citizens may find ways to still live in comfort, but for those poorest of the poor, everyday survival will always be a struggle.
1182  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reason Why People(Mostly Newbies) Fall Victim To Scams Easily. on: June 07, 2022, 11:20:08 PM
The problem is that the majority of people, investors, traders (most especially, newbies) come into the crypto currency space with the mindset or rather, expectation of getting rich overnight.
It can happen of course, because nothing is impossible in crypto, but understand that this is not 2017, the chances of someone getting this lucky is extremely low in this time and age, if you can’t invest and wait for 3 to 5 years to be financially independent, investing may not be for you, if you cant be patient and learn how to trade, bear some loses until you are good enough to start making consistent profit, then crypto trading might not be for you.
Like many of us use to say, if you can't hold for 5 years, don't hold for 5mins, and if you can't bear -28%, don't expect +28,000%.
Make sure to have a long term investment plan, and while you invest and wait, you can trade actively on the side. Could be P2P or actual spot or futures/margin trading on the side to make little profits on the way up.
Get proper education and clear direction, know what you are doing at all time and be patient.
Many might have the education, but not having a clear direction and lack of patience is one of the reasons many (especially newbies) end up loosing their hard earned money to scammers.
I guess human by nature is greedy, and the dream to become rich is mostly our ultimate goal. That is why when we see opportunities to get rich and earn huge amount of money, we often grab it without thinking that it could even result into losses instead of making us profitable. Instead of setting a long term investment plan, we chose to settle on short term plans because the offers are more enticing. Not knowing that those profits won't last long and eventually we end up losing our patience and fall as victims of scams.
1183  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How do you feel when the market is downtrend? on: June 07, 2022, 09:58:33 PM
How do you feel when the bear market is happening and do you hate it?. Every time a bearmarket happens, I always have valuable lessons that the bull market doesn't have. So always be grateful when the market goes down, it gives us many lessons, lessons about emotions, lessons about capital management, trust and patience.

The bear market is not the end but the beginning of a new and better start, the bear market is a measure of our confidence in the market. Worthy rewards will only come to those who truly believe in the market.
The bear market is one thing that we should be thankful of because it gives us a good start by taking advantage on the opportunities that this bear market brings. Although not all have come to realized this as newbies always prefer their own analysis, but if you want to create wealth and be more profitable in the future, the bear market is always the best season not to miss. Yes, it could bring mixed emotions on us and even test our patience on how long can we hold our investments, but its always the one who struggles the most and survive from it ends up the winner in the crypto market.
1184  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which crypto will going to explore after this bearish market ends? on: June 07, 2022, 09:26:29 PM
Which cryptocurrency is the best to invest in right now and will explode following the bear market?
Bitcoin, without a doubt.

If you follow the previous charts, every year the only coin that recovers and goes even bigger is bitcoin. No other altcoin can compare as much as bitcoin. It has been time-tested through bear markets and hence the only coin that people should invest in for the future.

Beyond bitcoin, altcoins might recover, but dont get too excited about them, because most of them have a shaky foundation and only few are actually good enough to be in the competition.
That is why we are here, more on for bitcoin because its probably the most expensive asset yet the best asset to own. So without hesitation, invest in bitcoin. Although it won't be profitable the whole time, but if you chose to hodl it for a couple of years, then you will be instantly rich once you decide to sell it. However, i believe there are still these established altcoins that would make us prosper, but still the chances are rare. And it takes a lot of patience and right decision making not to end up losing from them.
1185  Economy / Speculation / Re: It goes same way people never learn btc 30k on: June 07, 2022, 08:42:24 PM
Do not believe in analysts or institutions about bitcoin price, make research yourself and see if it is possible for bitcoin to stay at $30000 or go down below the price. As a matter of fact, it is possible that bitcoin may go below. But if you buy bitcoin now and hold it for like a year or two, you will make profit from your bitcoin holding when the price will rise back.
As long as the market continues to be bearish, then there's no reason that bitcoin won't drop its price in the next couple of days. That will be another opportunity for us to see bitcoin dropping its price and seeing the people will start to buy again and hodl for future profits. Though we also aim for bitcoin to finally reach its new ATH so we can sell and make profits, but if there are chances to add more bitcoin into our portfolio then we should not miss that opportunity to buy at a certain low price and only sell them when the price gets right.
1186  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: If you had 50k and it was life or death situation to triple that money to pay... on: June 06, 2022, 11:24:02 PM
To pay for your fathers surgery who he is really really ill I am willing to risk this 50k and invest it to triple to be able to save him. What would you save on this next bull run ?

Much help would be highly highly appreciated !

(I will updated you guys as how it goes)

Investing in cryptocurrency is never advisable if you are looking for quick profits, knowing it will be used for a surgery. Instead, look for a better and stable solution to your problem than to risk your money and may never gain the profits you are expecting. Remember, the crypto market is always unpredictable, so its like gambling your money hoping to hit the jackpot price.
1187  Economy / Economics / Re: Crashes are The Best Times to Get Rich - Robert Kiyosaki on: June 06, 2022, 09:39:09 PM
Rober Kiyosaki[1], a person popular in the network marketing industry and founder of Rich Global and Rich Dad Company[2] stated that the best time to get rich is to get in during the market crash.  He stated that if the Bitcoin market continues to plunge, he is ready to get in and start buying.  His entry window is when BTC touches $20k[3]

Quote
“BITCOIN CRASHING. Great news,” he tweeted recently. “I am waiting for Bitcoin to crash to 20k. Will then wait for test of bottom which might be $17k. Once I know bottom is in I back up the truck. Crashes are the best times to get rich.”

He also states that "Bitcoin is the future of money" and thinks that the bottom of this current bull trend would be below $11k. Read more here:

Having an optimist view despite the recent Bear trend and crashes is one of the better traits traders should have.  We have known Bitcoin to have the ability to rebound and yet many had been pessimists and lots lose hope.  We should look at this bear market in a different view rather than Bitcoin being Doom and as a matter of fact, many known billionaires gain lots of profit by investing in a crashing company or stocks but have been proven to recover.

So what do you think about Kiyosaki's point of view, is it possible that "crashes are the best time to get rich"?

[3] https://finance.yahoo.com/news/crashes-best-times-rich-why-120000932.html
With my long stay here in the crypto market, i realized that it's really the big crashes that make the best time to invest in the market. Although not all realized that but the truth is the bear market is always the start of wealth accumulation. The reason why a lot starts to acquire a lot of bitcoin during bearish market because it could make them instantly rich once bull run starts.
1188  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: PH banned online cockfighting - Worst gambling-related cases recorded! on: June 03, 2022, 01:37:27 PM

There were some witness that they're also about to be abducted but luckily was able to escape from that kidnapping. We can rely on that explanation that it's for real but yes, it's better to use the term speculate. But this has been said by the investigation of the policemen that's assigned for this task to know who's behind of it but until now, they don't know who's the mastermind of it or let's say they know but it's a big fish and they don't want to get involved and just do the typical job of investigating.

Better to be safe as we those who are investigating knows how deep the circle of those PNP officials behind, they don't want to burn everything and ended up proving nothing, just like how the drug syndicate as per the President itself, high rankings generals are part of the syndicate and those low level are afraid or not willing to dive deeper knowing the consequences,

It's really hard to prove if the working bodies are unsure, even the live witnesses and all the evidences are already being submitted.

Just wait and see if the new government will continue to proceed finding and convicting all the proven people behind this kidnapping.

Knowing the justice system in the Philippines, it will probably take a lot of time before this case will be solved, or worse this case will not be solved due to a lack of evidence especially the witness of the crime. That's the kind of justice we have in the Philippines, so the government just decided to ban E-Sabong so it will not happen again.

I don't know much about Shaun Ildefonso, but thanks for sharing the schedule, I forgot that they will be opening this Sunday, maybe because I'm focused on the NBA Finals. Anyway, let's start betting on them, I will bet on converge, let's see if they will get their first win in the game opener.

This guy loves to drive, he has a big body that could move his defender. You can search some of his highlights in youtube.

Here's one ;   Shaun Ildefonso leads Bulldogs to W | UAAP Season 84 Men's Basketball
This guy is only  6-foot-2 but his aggressiveness will certainly bring more energy to the team.

1190  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How to Effectively Maximize Profits from Online Crypto Casinos on: June 03, 2022, 11:15:50 AM
Bonuses and promotions are just temporary, if you want to make consistent money, you have to rely on your skills to earn. Unfortunately, not everyone has the skills that's why not everyone are winning in gambling, but if you have the skills, you can use that to monetize from gambling sites, just hope that they'll not ban you if you are consistently making money from them.
1191  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Inoue vs Donaire II discussion on: June 03, 2022, 10:42:00 AM
This is why this upcoming match is an interesting one for Donaire's part. It will be like determining factor if he will retire or not. Just look at Pacquiao, he tested himself up to when he will hang up the gloves. Their mind and heart may have the desire to fight, but their body is already saying enough. Few days from now, and we will see what's in it for Donaire here. Can he outlast Inoue this time around? I am putting small bet on Donaire here just for excitement of watching this match.

I think even in the event of losing this match, Donaire will still fight at least 2-3 fights before hanging his gloves. If he was able to repeat the same damage he gives to Inoue then it means he still has that power to pulverize an opponent but it's just that Inoue was able to top him.

I don't think that Donaire will stop to fight or retire if he losses to Inoue. As you have said, 2-3 good fights still left in him. We just don't want him to be a damage good though before he retire. He need to preserve his health. And it gives up excitement to watch this fight because we are eager to see what steps will Donaire be doing to win against Inoue. Donaire is one of those boxers that have a good boxing IQ so for sure he has new strategy in this fight.

Expect surprises from him, Donaire knows how to adjust and with the time that has been provided to him for conditioning his skills,

not just the health, but also those possible strategies that he has in mind to use while fighting Inoue. I'm also excited to see how

he will counter those solid attacks from Inoue and how he will try to execute every chance that Inoue will give him during this fight.

Donaire also understands that it could be his last fight if he cannot beat Inoue. He wants to be an undisputed champion, so he has to take this chance seriously, and win this and he is one step forward going toward his goal. However, we need to be realistic and see that this fight is not going to be easy for Donaire, Inoue is a real monster, so we can also expect some major adjustment from him in this fight.
1192  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Mentor experience in crypto trading. on: June 02, 2022, 10:21:04 PM
Hi guys,I have learnt a lot from my mentor in crypto trading that made me to became who I am today in the society. Do you have a mentor in crypto trading? I never know how important a mentor is to investors when I nearly lost my $300,000 few years ago, until I found a potential mentor who thought me when to sell my coins to make a good income and when not to sell not to experience losses in the market.

Who is a mentor?

A mentor is a someone who help people to achieve their common goals. Mentor never give up on helping people until they began to see a good results coming out from them. Mentor don't scam people who are trying to rise like them than to help them to stand well.

Do we still have potential mentor in crypto community today?

I love Satoshi because he was a great mentor i have never see in the whole world, for building a great family like this, that will produce future president's of different countries and senators that will make this decentralized currency fully legalized in the whole world.
Well, lucky are you that you have a great mentor that is very much knowledgeable in this crypto market. I'm just curious because knowing how unpredictable this market, even a legend in this forum, cannot totally escape losses from crypto trading. So your statement may somewhat be confusing not only for me but i guess for everyone in the forum. Although everyone of us needs mentors especially if we are new to crypto trading, but i believe everyone is susceptible to losses no matter how good you are in trading.
1193  Economy / Economics / Re: Crypto exit strategies on: June 02, 2022, 09:34:51 PM
We don't literally have to exit the whole market, you've just got to exit at the right time and price if you're wanting to take some profits.

The most common strategy is by using stable coins so your profit will be there and you can reinstate to the crypto that you've got originally as you get back those cheaply.
As there's always been it's best entry, one should also know when is to make it's best exit. I think its certainly the right timing to make a good exit, and its more important that you have maximize your gains already than your losses. Otherwise, you will have to exit the crypto market because you aren't making profits anymore and are drown into losses. But by using stable coins or do the DCA, you will have less worries to make an exit as you could get back to it when you're ready.
1194  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Paid the birth fee using bitcoin at the clinic, by accident. on: June 02, 2022, 07:48:58 PM
The moving story about the bitcoin emergency last night has helped me, last night my wife gave birth to my first child at 02:45 at one of the nearest clinics about 500 meters from my house and at that time I didn't have any cash, which I actually had prepared for ATM birth fees.
because the ATM is far from my place and I immediately took my wife to the clinic and all I thought about was my wife's safety, and at that time I was confused about the delivery fee because I didn't have cash and if I went to the ATM it was very far and also my wife no one to accompany and provide support during childbirth.
and after my wife and first child survived, the doctor took off his robe he wore a t-shirt with a small bitcoin image and spontaneously I asked if the doctor was involved with bitcoin and he said yes. And then I rubbed my chest and I said can I pay all the birth fees in bitcoin and I ended up paying in bitcoin about 0.007 or about $210.

sorry if my words are not good and also incomplete because this is my first experience paying using bitcoin by accident and it doesn't mean the clinic accepts payments using bitcoin but coincidentally the owner and he himself is a doctor and happens to be involved with bitcoin.

and my son's name: Muhammad Alvan Khaleed (male) and born on June 2, 2022 at 02:45.

And it's also my first time to create a Thread because of the unexpected and unforgettable experience
Congrats on having your new bundle of joy, and this is certainly an unforgettable experience with bitcoin since it saved you from paying your bill. Good thing that even doctors nowadays have been part of bitcoin adoption, that made me realize if there were surgeons like that in my local place. I think this is just the beginning of using bitcoin as a payment, not only a single clinic but certainly a whole hospital will be accepting bitcoin in the future. This will really be possible when the adoption of bitcoin will become mainstream.

It's official I think.

Mark Caguioa has retired from the PBA, says Tim Cone

Mark the spark has retired from PBA.
That's a hell of a ride, he was with the team for many seasons and now he decided to retire.
He is a very accomplished man, there's nothing to prove anymore, so hopefully, he will enjoy his retirement.
Mark the spark caguioa made a good decision because he is already a legend in the world of basketball even though not so much champion trophy and MVP awards but still he is one of the best players in the PBA, playing for many years do a lot of things I think it's enough for his career in this league. There are many new star players in the Barangay Ginebra San Miguel and I don't doubt that they will struggle this upcoming season .
I have not seen him play also, so maybe the announcement just came late. Last season when they became the champion, I did not see Mark Caguaio play, he was supposed to be given some minutes, especially during the garbage time or if coach Cone is making an experiment for a come back attempt when they are down big time.

1197  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Read this before you exit crypto space on: June 01, 2022, 11:54:55 PM
Before you decide to go away from crypto space simply because we are in a bear market I want you to know that some amazing stuffs was built in the last bear market, our so called Ethereum killers

1. Hedera  2. Solana. 3. Algorand.  4. Avalanche.

These projects came in the bear market, if you walk away now till next btc halving you will be missing a lot of future opportunities.

Those who think to get out of the crypto market during a bear phase instead of accumulating, they shouldn't have joined the crypto space at the first place. Clearly crypto market is not fit for faint hearted people. It requires patience and long term vision to streer through the ups and downs of the market.

So if someone is an occasional investor trying to test the water, it's better for them to go out of the market completely. Because this group of investors are actually creating panic in the market.
That's right, let them leave the market and only those who are patient and persistent in their goals will be left and become winners in the long run. And i assume that all those who enter the market do not just expect pure profits but also lot of losses too so they won't be hanging here in the market waiting for nothing. And lastly, we will only succeed in this volatile market if we are not looking for easy and quick profits, but more for long term vision because that's how crypto market works, and when it works, there is huge profits waiting ahead of it.
1198  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Learning from the dip on: June 01, 2022, 11:33:48 PM
There is no endpoint of the dip. Be ready to accumulate some in every dip. I did the same, I was buying almost in very dip, but the market becomes more dip where my funds were empty. I failed to accumulate in the last dip. Personally, I believe we all can't buy during the bottom, the reason is we don't know exactly the bottom range. So this is a lesson that doesn't invest all in dip, then you may miss the real dip.
Since we can't predict well the bottom price everytime there is price dips, then its safe to do DCA for that. At least, we will be able to buy all its dip prices, but also it depends on the funds available for you. However, if you no good funds intended for it, just buy when there is dips, regardless if its the bottom or not, that does not matter as long as your intention is for long term hodling.
1199  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Biggest mistake in crypto? on: June 01, 2022, 11:07:57 PM
What have been your biggest blunders so far when it comes to cryptocurrency? We all know that how much volatile the industry is. And the things that made you regret your decision? Can you share your thoughts, guys?
My biggest regret so far was not buying bitcoin while its price dips into $3k. I may have owned a lot of bitcoin at the moment if i did take the risk that time. But still, i make sure i was not stucked with that regret, as i always take every opportunity that comes, and buys in every dip. What could be more regretful is that you keep on missing chances when you already know that its worth to buy, and yet you never take the risk and chances.
1200  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: The Legendary Forumla of Dip = Opportunity on: June 01, 2022, 10:40:37 PM
After all either market crashes or it goes up and all of us has to do is one god dam thing, you just hodl your crypto tight, either move them to stable coin economy to stop the losses.

I'd go with a different advice and tell people to actually think twice or thrice about the 'crypto' they actually bought — if they actually do something decent, or if it's just your typical useless yet overpriced cryptocurrency. They need to sober up sooner or later, unless they want the markets itself to sober them up by teaching them a hard lesson.
Not missing every opportunities in the market is certainly a smart move, but it will be a lot wiser if you also invest in those coins that have real utility cases in the market, and not those that overpriced coins that also promises huge potentials. Investors do always aim for bigger profits, but they can't expect that to happen from coins who have never proven their worth and are easily affected once the bearish market takes over in the market.
