After point losses in the Ligue 1 and Champions League for two games PSG finally won a game. Honestly I didn't expect this game against Rennes to be comfortable at all. I even thought Rennes would get some points from them. However getting 2-0 ahead in the first half made things much easier than expectations.
Mbappe didn't make any goal contribution in this game. This has been the same for four games by the way. I'm curious about whether he has lost his concentration from now on. Especially after the Newcastle game he must be really frustrated.
Mbappe has more interesting games ahead (for status) - with the Netherlands, and then with Gibraltar. France is leading by a huge margin, so they can play relaxed, and Mbappe can improve his statistics (at least in the game with Gibraltar). This could definitely be a big turning point for Arsenal especially. Because I don't think they were in the second position so far in this season. And being able to beat the best team in the league, Manchester City is definitely going to give them a big boost in confidence. I personally believe that they have the ability to beat Tottenham as well. But the thing is they will have to be consistent throughout the whole season. They cannot just be performing well at the start and not win matches towards the end. so far, we have seen that happening in two seasons. I hope in this season, Arsenal will be able to consistently perform and not drop easy points. Before last year's title, Napoli also took a lead but failed at the end of the season. I hope that Arteta has finally formed a championship team (it looks like it) and this year they will last for the whole season. City (due to the KDB and maybe not only because of it but also for “natural” reasons) is experiencing a decline and this will be an additional help in achieving the goal. The next games will show what we can count on - they are very difficult for City. |

I understand that Manchester City needed almost all the players that they had to actually achieve the success that they did. It wouldn’t have happened by only having HAALAND. but at the same time, he was a big performer for them as well. It's so amazing to see how stuttgart was able to leading the league right now. I never thought this is happening to the stuttgart. It seems like that endo was the main problem owned by stuttgart. Liverpool had been giving a chance for stuttgart to rebuild its club with the money earned from selling endo to the liverpool.
