2661  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA 2022 world cup on: December 13, 2022, 04:07:33 PM
Given that Argentina is far from ideal in defense, it makes no sense for Croatia to sit on the defensive. It is better to win 3-2 than to lose 0-1 with no scoring chances. I am sure that today we will see a mutually dangerous attacking game.
Our team's play style is depended on the profile of players that we have. The main reason why we were more attacking oriented 2018 in Russia is because our attack was better. At the moment, we don't have any world class attacker. Petkovic, Budimir and Livaja are solid and that's it, but being just solid is not enough to play attacking football, at least not for this type of the tournament. Dalic (our coach) set the tactic the only way he can, by having our midfield (by far strongest part of our team) controls the game and sort of defend ourselves by holding the ball, until opportunity shows up.

So, I expect us to play similar to what we played against Brazil in the first half, and I don't expect Argentina to play attacking football either, as they must know how dangerous we can be from counterattack. It will be a tough game, and only thing I am afraid of is Argentinian players pulling some dirty trick, diving etc.

There have been zero goals and zero assists for Luka Modrić this World Cup. Maybe he hasn't performed yet, but in the semi-finals, he must deliver a magical performance. In that case, Luka Modrić would be the best option to defeat Argentina. I do not have a good understanding of Croatia's strategy, while Argentina plays as a unit and Messi solves equations. The game is difficult, but I wish Argentina good luck.
Modric doesn't have to score or even assist to be the best player on the pitch. Just take for example what he did against Brazil; he was the one who took ball from Casemiro and started the action that led to equalizer. And yeah, he performed very well so far. Maybe not 2018 level, but still he is immensely important for us.

2662  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Beware of BITYX . COM Exchange Total scam lost 5100 $ in USDT & Bitcoin on: December 13, 2022, 10:26:43 AM
@m1rza glad to see that you decided to create the scam accusation topic. You forgot to include their official account here in your first post, so here it is https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=3517038

I left them negative feedback and raised Type 1 flag (https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;flag=3063) but since you are the one who lost money, you should be the one to create Type 3 flag ( the one saying "This user violated a written contract with me, resulting in damages.") as it may help someone else not to lose money the way you did.
2663  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SBF, arrested! on: December 13, 2022, 10:19:34 AM
I have doubt $70 million bribe donation[1] is enough since FTX bankruptcy is still popular topic among cryptocurrency user and SBF doesn't bother keep low profile where he even attend interview on TV channel some time ago[2].
That's just the money that we are aware of, while real figure might be much higher. I mean, I hope for Elizabeth Holmes scenario, but you never know with these rich people.

He probably didn't do his research properly or naively assuming tax-haven country would protect it's investor.
Its even more surprising considering his parents are lawyers and professors at Stanford Law School. Or maybe that's the reason he was so cock sure, knowing that his mommy and daddy will get him out of any trouble.

2664  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Invest in Your Future with Bityx on: December 13, 2022, 09:16:14 AM
But the main trick is, when my account was restricted it asked me to upgrade and the requirement for upgrade was Assets equity = 5000$ min and when I deposit more money it went upto 10,000$ and that's for sure when someone deposit 10,000$ it will go to 20,000$ and so on.
Yep, they would just keep increasing the requirement as long as you keep depositing money so at least you stopped  before losing even more money.

What I would like to know though is how you found about Bityx? I am asking because its a completely unknown exchange that is not listed on either Coingecko or Coinmarketcap and their site was offline for quite some time lately (I was checking their website ever since they appeared here few weeks ago).
2665  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: SBF, arrested! on: December 13, 2022, 09:09:22 AM
I guess everyone who's been a victim of FTX fall is now getting some justice.
While him finally getting arrested is a good news, people that got their money lost in FTX are still very far way from any justice. SBF paid shit load of money to both Democrats and Republicans and will have top lawyers defending him so I don't think that people should celebrate just yet.

Finally, but this is little bit out of topic is Do Kwon arrested too after luna happened
Nope, Do Kwon is still on the run. Last news is that he is hiding in Serbia, according to Cointelegraph article.
2666  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: "Crypton Exchange" is a massive rip-off that advertises on BitcoinTalk! on: December 12, 2022, 09:46:09 PM
...
I just checked your post history and its obvious that you came here to troll and not do some actual good for this community or to have a normal discussions so you are going on ignore.
2667  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Invest in Your Future with Bityx on: December 12, 2022, 08:41:30 PM
They said I need to upgrade account to institutional as they don’t allow this trading on individual account ( here comes the scam) so to upgrade I have to deposit 5000$ and agree to new terms, I deposited 5000$ then the upgrade requirement changed to 10,000$.
This was a huge red flag and I am really sorry that you fell for their trick. No legit exchange would ever ask you something like that.

Having said that, I think that you should create a topic about it in Scam Accusation board where you will provide all the evidence: screenshots of correspondence, you depositing money etc. It is unlikely that you will ever get your money back, but at least we could tag and flag their account and hopefully save someone from doing the same mistake you did.
2668  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: "Crypton Exchange" is a massive rip-off that advertises on BitcoinTalk! on: December 12, 2022, 08:31:06 PM
@saotchynakamuro If you want us to do something about it and potentially stop their signature campaign, you will have to provide more evidence. Its not just enough to mention their alleged CEO, list of his ex companies and say that he is a con artist, without providing some proof that he was behind scams. So please put some effort into this and make a proper scam accusation post in which you will provide as much info as possible.

Specially when searching it on coinmarketcap it is near the bottom of the list (176 out of 240) of exchanges with a very low daily volume which means not that many users actually know about or use this service!
Hm are you sure that's the same exchange because from what I can see, the one you found on CMC is called Cryptonex, not Crypton Exchange. Anyway, I couldn't find this Crypton Exchange on either Coingecko or CMC. What I could find though is their token called Crypton.
2669  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: FIFA World Cup 2022 Discussion Thread on: December 12, 2022, 04:02:29 PM
I really agree with you for Croatia and Argentina , I have full support on Croatia team. Croatia players are good, they will beat Argentina the way they beat Brazil. Croatia defense is strong that was why Brazil could not just penetrate to score.
Thanks for the support buddy! I have to ask one thing though, how come you didn't include Croatia yet again in the poll? Or you are maybe superstitious and think that you brought us luck last time when you didn't include us, so you decided to do it all over again? If yes, please keep it as it is! Grin

I think Croatia might have been a bit lucky because Brazil lowered their tempo when they already had a goal, even though there was still the second half in extra time but Brazil just played like it was just to kill time without any pressure being exerted. Therefore, when Brazil lost momentum, the Croatian players made a quick counterattack until they managed to score a goal in the end.
You actually contradicted yourself there, as if Brazil relieved pressure and didn't attack Croatia, how they conceded goal from counterattack?. Their team wasn't smart, and instead playing defensively for the last 15 minutes, they allowed themselves to have 6-7 players left behind when our team started the counterattack that ended up with the equalizer. Even Neymar was pissed at his team for not staying behind and playing it more defensively at the end.
2670  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: SCAM ALERT! Don't play on this site --> Spiroll.app on: December 12, 2022, 03:49:46 PM
You sure that's real account of Royse777?
He indeed did some promotion for them, here is the thread.

We decreased the maximum win limit to $20.000. Thanks for your advice.
It is a good thing that you listened to Loyce and decreased the maximum win to a more reasonable amount considering your bankroll size, but the fact you had to be told that by someone else and your problem to understand how dangerous is to have win limit set too high makes me believe that you (by you I mean your whole team) have no idea how to run online casino, and this can only end badly for everyone involved.
2671  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Was Bitcoin project a failure after all ? on: December 12, 2022, 03:41:37 PM
Now, it seems to have become something quite different from what he originally set out to do, doesn't it ?
Do you maybe want to tell us what you think he originally set out to do, back it up with some quotes, and how it became different than that?

And how do you all feel about the current situation, which is far from the "pure" world that he aimed for ?"
I think that in ~13 years Bitcoin achieved way more than anyone (including Satoshi) thought its possible in such a short amount of time. You have to be completely unrealistic and naive to think that in such a short period of time Bitcoin can replace fiat. And even if that never happens (which is unlikely anyway) it will have its use.
2672  Economy / Reputation / Re: Someone posted here about our Project then sabotage us to give him money on: December 12, 2022, 12:57:19 PM
Here is the whole private conversation with him, even though he already deleted a lot of his messages:
Yep, just confirms what you said before that he didn't ask for payment before he published the ANN.

Have anyone PMed gondel? I would love to hear him say. It's no way he should do it. gondel seems like helping the project to grow as a volunteer.
I sent him a PM but somehow I doubt that he will come here to share his side of the story as everything is pretty much obvious here.

A quick look at his post history reveals a lot, he is an old time legendary who is not really active on the forum, and all his activity is reduced to trying to make money in one way or another - and every attempt to join the signature campaign fails because of the famous rule "5 merits in 120 days".
He is far from a reputable member and I don't think that any altcoin project would benefit from having him as ANN publisher.

I even received more offers for promotions, which are already way more professional and have stated clearly what they offer and how much they expect to be paid for the service. Most of them come with a package with other deals, so at least something good came out of the situtation.
In case someone offers you thread bumping (bunch of sock puppet accounts having fake conversations), just say no as on top of being totally ineffective and a waste of money, it can also affect your project reputation.
2673  Economy / Reputation / Re: Someone posted here about our Project then sabotage us to give him money on: December 11, 2022, 10:20:28 PM
Quoting the post to show the images

Okay guys, firstly I want to say big thanks to everyone that took the time to explain how the Forum works. I haven't been in such a website in a while.

This is the post i'm talking about : https://ninjastic.space/topic/5427627 (topic id: 5427627).

The guy was invited to our Discord from his friend attracted by a small rewarding game we have currently going and asked how to play the game.
After receiving an answer but not winning any price (meanwhile his friend that invited him did twice), a couple of days later he decided to ask how to sell the reward followed by the offer to post here.
Here is the full chat:

After he offered to make his post, I told him to hit me up in DM and I will provide him with all the descriptions and graphics he needs.
If needed, I can show the full private chat, but he already deleted some of his messages. We never agreed on payments, but after posting the post, he dropped his wallet address.
After telling him again that I'm not going to send him anything since his post didn't reach anyone. I later even publicly asked him how much he wants to get paid, then he started publicly trash talking in our community.

but also trashing under our linkedin, reddit and even dm'ing members of our community. Even marked himself as project manager on Linkedin:

We are currently still discovering such posts around different groups and communities and try to report them all.

I hope you guys understand my frustration and why i wanted to share the situation.
Why would I even risk our image and ask him for free work ? We have a team for the job. He simply made one post.

Couple community members recommended i post the situation here, so he gets punished, that's why i did.

I have to say that indeed looks like a douchebag move. From what I can see, gondel indeed offered to create a thread on his own volition. I see that he mentioned some PMs, did he at any time asked for payment before he actually posted the announcement thread? Anyway, I'll wait a bit for him to come here and tells his side of the story.

Just wanna add that he exaggerated  it a bit when he said that all the biggest crypto projects have threads here. That was the case years ago, but altcoins kinda moved away from bitcointalk as people here are not their target audience.
2674  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What awareness would this bring to bitcoin on: December 11, 2022, 09:54:49 PM
When I looked at these numbers it got me thinking about how much awareness it would create for bitcoin if this money was paid in bitcoin to these teams. Would we ever live in that kind of world?
It would be of course great, but you what to have to ask yourself is why would FIFA pay awards in bitcoin? That move wouldn't make any sense at all, unless bitcoin completely takes over fiat and chances for that happening are realistically slim to none. I can imagine crypto related World Cup sponsor giving reward to someone in bitcoin though, for example to a winner of Golden Boot. That would be a nice bitcoin promotion.

By the way I think that this post should be posted in the games and Gambling section.
Just because OP mentioned World Cup it doesn't mean that topic should automatically go to the gambling section.

2675  Economy / Reputation / Re: Someone posted here about our Project then sabotage us to give him money on: December 11, 2022, 06:52:30 PM
Where is the correct place in your opinion ? Someone already recommended the Reputation board but i would appreciate second opinion
Yes, Reputation board is the right place. You can move the topic by yourself, just the the "move topic" option that is in the bottom left corner.

Final note: I just hoped such behavior can be punished if i can provide all the needed information. I can be fully transparent with the conversation we had.
Most of you mentioned that nothing can be done so maybe there is no point in that. Then just take it as a warning and if someone decides this topic can be locked.[/b]
I haven't noticed that people told you nothing can be done. So, please provide all the evidence that you have and in case what you are telling is truth, you may help stopping that Legendary account from that to someone else as he may end up with negative feedback which would make him harder to do it again.

Btw, even if he deleted the topic, there are still ways to see it so no worries about that part.
2676  Other / Archival / Re: [BIG LIST] Crypto Debit Cards on: December 11, 2022, 04:57:31 PM
I guess that my wishful thinking that anonymous crypto cards could ever become a thing (and not a scam)... remains... wishful thinking...
I already came to terms that we will never see fully anonymous, reliable and legal crypto debit card, but if you don't mind about legal part and really want anonymous card that works, you might wanna check this Anonymous crypto loadable bitcoin debit card - No KYC - Private Card Services. Based on the feedback it doesn't look like a scam and cards work, but they aren't cheap.
2677  Local / Hrvatski (Croatian) / Re: Novosti on: December 11, 2022, 04:49:55 PM

2678  Economy / Reputation / Re: Problem on Logo Design Order on: December 11, 2022, 04:29:12 PM
Thank you guys for your great responses. Yeah seems it's too harsh for negative feedback, so neutral would be fairer. Eventually, I won't do that for now and will still keep trying to find a good solution between us. If it leads us nowhere in the end, I'll let you know on this thread.
Its your call of course, but I don't see why it would be too harsh to leave him negative if in the end he refuses to pay you for the logo you designed. Its not your problem that he decided to change his opinion in the middle of it, created the logo by himself and now demands that you create something else for that money. Btw, he still didn't send the money for logo/ANN, right, still stalling?

I mean, you can leave him neutral as well with clear explanation so everyone doing any deals with him is warned, but the way I see it he basically tried to cheat you and for that negative is not too harsh. After all, if they are serious casino they wouldn't even bother with such trivial stuff that could endanger their reputation before they even started promotion here. Market is swarmed with shitty casinos that barely have enough money to start the business and based on his behavior your client might be one of them.
2679  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 Oscar Awards betting and discussions on: December 11, 2022, 11:59:07 AM
Isn't almost 3 months before nominees being announced a little bit too early to start this thread?

Anyway, from the movies I've seen so far I would say that Cate Blanchett winning an Oscar for her role in Tar is a sure bet, she was great. 1.8 is an excellent odd that will surely go down significantly as we come close to the nomination announcement. I see that Michelle Yeoh is 2nd favorite at the moment for a Best Actress award, while I couldn't finish Everything Everywhere All At Once, it was just too much for me. Attack on the senses is a best description of that movie.
2680  Other / Meta / Re: So many threads on FIFA World Cup 2022 on: December 11, 2022, 11:31:27 AM
This has been ongoing issue for not just gambling board and in the case of World Cup, but forum in general. Every time something big happens, thread about it start popping out all over the place and I don't remember ever seeing them being merged together. I've been active on various forums for many years, and nowhere I saw this issue being so obvious like here and mods so reluctant to merge/lock duplicate threads.
