I reported a couple of his posts and shared your post as a proof of his continuous burst posting and hoping mods will issue at least temporary ban which he definitely deserves (even sig ban wouldn't be bad since he is promoting 1xbit). And then if he continues doing the same thing after temporary bans maybe he gets perma banned. If that doesn't work then the only thing left to do is to manually report his shitposts.

Nah I am not buying this theory that crypto makes you more attractive, at least not in my country. People that are into crypto are seen more like gamblers than a hotshot Wall Street brokers (that they might think they are) so I don't think that it would help you much attracting quality man/woman.

Could you maybe provide the source for your claim that CZ told Paxos to continue minting BUSD since I have a hard time believing he (or Paxos) would go against SEC order.  After all, CZ said in his Twitter thread that he expects BUSD market cap to start decreasing, users migrating to other stablecoins and even adjust trading pairs on Binance by remocing BUSD as a main trading paid. All this doesn't sound at all to me like he expects Paxos to continue minting BUSD.

Unfortunately this won't make people move away from stablecoins and those who used BUSD will just move to USDT on Tron or some other networks with lower fees.

New Top Gun seems more realistic than that scenario, in which a movie of that type wins a Best Picture Oscar considering how left Hollywood is.

I don't see how you can be accused of plagiarism if you quoted someone else's text in an obvious and visible way, no matter the context. In the worst case scenario it can be a low value post e.g. when someone opens a topic with copy/pasted wall of text without adding anything of their own.


As I said in my previous post, its not enough to just cover your ass by sharing reference link as everything should be easily visible when you copy/paste something, including reference link. We have members that were using all kind of creative ways to hide reference links and the fact that they actually copy/pasted text and that very little was written by themselves. They were eventually called out for it and in the end they stopped those practices due pressure from other members.

Imho, its not just enough to mention the original source, but there should also be a clear distinction between your own words and something that is written by the others, whether by using quotation marks or quotation brackets. Sure, not doing that won't get you banned since tehnically it is enough to share the link to cover your ass, but it shows lack of honesty and/or posting etiquette and sets a bad example to new members who then do the same.

Tbh I can't think of any other reason other than appearing that those are your own words and not someone else's.

While majority of people have no idea that stablecoins can be frozen even if you hold them in your own non-custody wallet, certain amount of users are aware of the risks but they are using it nevertheless (the same goes for pro traders that are using CEX even though they know the risks). After all, using doesn't automatically mean that you are holding it for longer period of time and that's what is the most dangerous part.

Btw not advocating for the use for stablecoins, just saying that if you use something doesn't automatically mean that you don't know the risks.

Was it ever that big though, or it was just a hype due fake volume and bunch of paid sponsorships? I might be wrong, but somehow I always thought of Coinbase as bigger and more relevant.

Considering the tendency of an average crypto investor to easily forget about bad stuff from the past, I wouldn't be surprised to see FTX coming back if by some miracle all users get their money back. At least, we could get another exchange by some ex-FTX people, but under new name. After all, this is crypto where anything is possible. 

I am using Firefox so maybe that explains why it doesn't work for me. And I can't really be bothered to install Chrome just to try the feature I wouldn't use even if it worked.

Honestly I never even tried using those shortcuts until you mentioned it today because to me it didn't look any faster than doing it the regular way. And no, it doesn't work for me neither.

Napokon smo docekali i da Na Rubu Znanosti obradi temu kriptovaluta, ali s obzirom kakvog gosta su doveli, bolje da i nisu radili. Broj postova tijekom Sijecnja 2023

Tijekom navedenog perioda na nasem boardu napisano je 329 postova sto je povecanje od 20% u odnosu na 12/2022 tijekom kojeg je napisano 273 posta. U proslom pregledu sam napomenuo da ocekujem vece brojeve od prethodog mjeseca jer nam se pojavilo par novih clanova tako da se na kraju to i ostvarilo te se nadam da ce novi clanovi nastaviti doprinositi kao sto su do sada.




Ovdje se vidi kako se kretao broj psootva od kraja 2017 pa do danas. Trend je i vise nego ocit ali se ipak da primjetiti da smo ipak usporili taj pad u zadnjih godinu dana sto je svakako dobra vijest. Da skroz okrenemo trend bi nam trebalo jos par aktivnih clanova a s obzirom da izgleda da bi najgori bear mogao biti iza nas, mozda se netko i pojavi.




A ovakva je situacija kad se usporedimo sa ostalim boardovima. Unatoc padu, i dalje smo tu negdje oko sredine jednostavno zato sto je vecina ostalih boardova takodjer pala po borju postova, dok se rast vidi jedino kod Nigerijaca koji su nedavno dobili svoj board  te Pakistanaca koji pokusavaju dobiti board.

Posto onaj moj pregled iz mete drugi redovno  prenose u svoje lokalne boardove pa me Telegram bot obavijesti, cesto bacim oko da vidim kako oni komentiraju situaciju. Zanimljivo je vidjeti da i na ostalim boardovima kukaju kako su im brojevi pali, pa cak i na onim najaktivnijima kao sto su Ruski, Njemacki i Turski tako da eto nismo usamljeni po tom pitanju.

Analiza merita za Sijecanj 2023

Tijekom proslog mjeseca na nasem boardu je podijeljeno 263 merita sto je blago povecanje u odnosu na mjesec ranije tijekom kojeg je podijeljeno 249 merita. Netko bi mozda ocekivao i vece povecanje s obzirom da nam se broj posotva povecao za 20%, ali i ovaj broj je u biti super i fino je vidjeti da smo se zadnjih par mjeseci stabilizirali na preko 200 merita dok smo ranije dosta varirali po tom pogledu.




Lista svih onih koji su podijelili i primili merit. Tijekom proslog mjeseca 14 clanova je podijelilo merit dok ih je 18 primilo merit tako da su brojevi su jako slicni onima iz 12/2022 (14/19).




Kad se usporedimo sa ostalim lokalnim boardovima, stojimo nesto bolje nego kad je rijec o broju postova. Na vrhu su naravno standardna imena dok smo mi u biti super s obzirom na napisan broj postova.




I za kraj ove serije chartova, ovako stojimo kad se usporedimo sa ostalima po pitanju merit/post ratia. kao sto se vidi situacija je odlicna te smo i dalje pri samom vrhu sto mislim da i zasluzujemo s obzirom na kvalitetu naseg boarda te manjak shitpostera i spama.

Lista aktivnih clanova tijekom Sijecnja 2023

Tijekom navedenog razdoblja na nasem board 23 clana su napisali makar 1 post, sto je minimalno povecanje u odnosu na 12/2022 tijekom kojeg su 22 clana bila aktivna. Na vrhu je naravno slackovic sa 50 napisanih postova, dok su iza njega ne predaleko Trofo sa 40 postova te Daniel91 sa 39.

Red je spomenuti i novog (uvjetno receno novog jer je duze vrijeme na forumu ali nije pisao kod nas) clana Joobra koji je upao u top 10 sa 18 psootva a fino je vidjeti da je SirJohnVonSlotty i dalje dosta aktivan te se nadam da ca obojica novih clanaova nastaviti istim tempom.

Since I am from Croatia of course I heard the song, its the main topic over here. We usually send boring songs, but this is the first time we sent someone as crazy as the guys from Let 3   These guys are old rock band that has cult status here and are usually very provocative so something like this was expected from them. They probably even had to tone it down because of Eurovision song contest rules.
 

Hah it doesn't hurt trying but I don't think that there will be much interest as rarely anyone outside of Europe cares about it.
