281  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: XEN Crypto Price (XEN) on: April 29, 2023, 03:03:16 PM
Hype altcoin that has very high transactions in 24 hours on eth blockchain
does anyone know what is going on?
I'm a bit surprised that many do a free mint on the token.
reference

I am not really sure, what to think about that project to be honest. I also "reserved" some XEN with two different wallets on BSC that are ready to claim on november this year, but i know people that have made this with hundreds of different wallets on different blockchains. Since a few month or so you can mit those XENNfts that are basically multiple wallets worth of XEN. I also know people that have already minted hundred of those NFTs and spent more than 1000 $ of gas fees on it. On paper those people are millionaires now but once those tokens are ready to claim they are probably worthless.

This game was expected for Dortmund to win but they still lose to Bochum. The way Dortmund is going it seems if Bayern Munich comes back to their normal performance they will easily take the first position from Dortmund. Dortmund is not very okay this season to win the league.

Well Dortmund did not lose that game yesterday obviously because it ended 1-1 with a draw. I am pretty sure though that this will still feel like loss for them. They dominated the game most of the time yesterday and also had more chances to score. That being said, Bochum also showed a very good performance and had a few good chances to score themself. Overall the draw was still pretty unlucky for Dortmund but i don't think that they should complain to much about that because they already had a lot luck too in this season so far.

It's funny how people around you just pissed and ruined my day because they missed the crazy gains from PEPE, a shit meme coin that's making some noise online since two days now, it really got people good  Grin I mean those who missed out.

I am not surprised at all because PEPE devs or team, whoever they are used mathematical scam to deceive those people, PEPE solves no issue we are facing in the crypto space, not a single one, yet people fomoed

Since Elon Musk made that tweets about Dogecoin like 2 years ago or so, we are witnessing that crazy wave of useless meme-coins. I agree with you, that PEPE just like every other meme coin is solving no problem and is also not generating any new use case or something like that. It is just another useless shit coin. From time to time though it happens that one of those shit coins is able to create a lot of attention for whatever reason. PEPE apparently was one of those. I don't know why though.

It is just one point separating Bayern and Dortmund. If Dortmund makes this three point count against Bochum, they will not only solidify their position on the table they will also boast the teams moral for the remaining games in the league. From the look of things Dortmund has become a big threat to Bayern and if they keep up with winning their remaining 10 matches they will become this season's title holders. Bochum will just have to pray VB Stuttgart losses too to Monchengladbach so they can remain at one position ahead of relegation zone.

Well it is totally Bayern Munichs own fault, that now Borussia Dortmund is in front of them even though Bayern was 9 points ahead of them before the winter break. I don't really think, that Dortmund will win all of their remaining games, because they have not been playing great all the time in the last few weeks and they had a few very lucky wins there too.
To be honest i also don't think though that this will matter much because Bayern is just looking way to weak in the last few weeks, so even if Dortmund will lose some points. I don't think that Bayern will be able to win all of their games at the same time. So for me, the BVB is the favorite to win the title now.
285  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: OpenSea investor cuts Platform’s Valuation By 75% on: April 28, 2023, 01:14:26 PM
Anyone heard this news? What's your take on this? It's this the beginning of the downfall of the NFT market or can we say that it will still survived till the next bull run?

Quote
OpenSea, one of the largest NFT marketplaces, has been hit particularly hard, with its valuation now facing a significant cut by one of its most prominent investors, Tiger Global. According to a recent report by The Information, Tiger Global, a $13 billion tech-focused venture fund, recently disclosed that its equity in OpenSea has dropped from $126.8 million to $30.2 million, representing a 76% drawdown. The firm became one of the largest investors in OpenSea when the NFT platform raised $300 million during a Series C round earlier last year.

If i am reading this quote correct, then this only means, that Tiger Global has reduced their equity in OpenSea by 76%, so i would guess they have sold some of their shares to some other investors? So if i understand this correctly, then this does not mean that the valuation of OpenSea as a company is now 76% lower than before. Therefore i don't really think that this has this big of an impact to OpenSea itself and to the NFT market as a whole.
Of course part of the truth is that like 95% of all NFT's are totally useless and just created to make some quick buck, but still i think NFT will not go away. They are here to stay and will always be a part of the crypto space now.
286  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 28, 2023, 11:11:48 AM
If Barcelona can actually get him for free it is going to be a great transfer for them. After all, we know that Barcelona is not going for Lionel Messi. And I also think it is going to be good if they invest money in Kante instead of trying to bring in Lionel Messi right now. Because I believe that Barcelona will have more use for him instead of Lionel Messi right now in the team.
I understand that Barcelona also needs to improve the attacking side. But the thing is Lionel Messi is not the best value for money right now.

Even if FC Barcelona could sign Lionel Messi for free, which means without having to pay any transfer fee to another club, they will not do it, because obviously the transfer fee is only one part of the total cost when you are signing a player. The other part is the salary obviously and in case of Messi i think it is pretty safe to say, that his salary demands are huge.
Now someone could say that he would probably play for Barca for a very low salary because it is HIS club, but i doubt that. The only reason why Messi left Barca in the first place was that Barca was basically broke because they have paid Messi more than 100 M€ per season. Then they could not pay that anymore and he left the club. He could have stayed at Barca back then too for a lower salary but he did not want to do that.
287  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How people are going to buy and store gold in the near future? The vision of Sha on: April 28, 2023, 11:07:45 AM
Traditionally, buying gold has been a cumbersome process. People had to physically go to a jeweler or a bank and purchase gold in the form of coins or bars. However, with the advent of technology, people can now buy gold online through various platforms. Bitxgold is one such platform that allows people to buy gold online easily.

Bitxgold offers a user-friendly platform that enables users to buy gold using a variety of payment methods, including credit/debit cards and bank transfers. Users can also choose the quantity of gold they wish to purchase, and the platform will calculate the exact amount of money required for the transaction.

Sorry to say, but as others in this thread have already mentioned, i would never use your company if i would like to buy gold based on the first impression that you are giving hear. That image that you are posted looks like it was made by a 12 year old within 10 minutes in Microsoft Paint and is more fitting for one of those stupid meme-coins that are dead within a few days again and not for a project that wants to store gold for it's customers. For that you need to create trust and to get that trust first of all you need a way more serious appearance of your company. Even then i don't really think, that this will be a great success because i can also easily go to my bank and buy gold. It is not really that big of a difference if the purchase takes 1 week or 1 day because gold is a longterm hold anyway.
288  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 27, 2023, 04:11:55 PM
according to the german sports magazine kicker, the 26-year-old japanese midfielder from eintracht frankfurt Daichi Kamada is on the verge of a transfer to benfica lisbon on a free transfer, according to concurring media reports from Portugal.
kicker also reports an alleged interest of bayern in the defensive midfielder Casemiro (manchester united). the brazilian is to be signed up for next season in order to relieve Joshua Kimmich...

That Benfica is now in the pole position to sign Kamada for the next season is new to me. The last time i read something about Kamada they said that Borussia Dortmund and Atletico Madrid are the favorites in the race to sign him. Seems like Kamada has changed his mind, Atletico and Dortmund are not that interested anymore or that Benfica simply offered the highest salary for him.
I really doubt that there is substance to that casemiro rumor though. He still has 3 more years worth of contract at Manchester United so he would be pretty expensive and he is already 31 years old. Bayern already has Gravenberch that does not really get much time to play.
So i think Bayern should save that money and use it to buy a world class striker instead.
289  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Any advice for invest my first 600$ in altcoins? on: April 27, 2023, 04:03:24 PM
Hi just new to here. I want to know what are the good altcoins that can be invest and forget until 2026. I'm currently thinking to spend around 600$ for altcoins. Right now I'm holding BNB & ETH only as altcoins. Don't say buy BTC cuz already have nice amount since 2010.

Is it good to invest in HOOk, SUI , ARB or ID altcoins? Since they are new just thought to give a try. Thank you

Since you have said that you want to buy those coins and then just forget about it for a few years i would probably suggest coins that can be staked natively, because that way you not only make profit from a possible increase in price but also from the staking rewards. In the last few weeks or so i have bought a few Cosmos (Atom), NEAR and Radix. All of those 3 coins can be staked and with Radix and NEAR you even have the advantage that they are auto-compounding. This means the staking rewards you get are automatically put into staking once you receive it. So you can really totally forget about it for a few years. Other coins are good options too though of course.
290  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: April 27, 2023, 11:13:14 AM
Mauricio Pochettino is like everyone else. Remember that during his time at Tottenham Hotspur, the team never won a trophy and perpetually finished in second place despite the players' intense determination. Every single time Chelsea suffers a defeat in the Premier League, they continue with this trend. One of the worst managers in football, Frank Lampard led Chelsea through five games and suffered five losses with nine goals conceded and just one goal scored. It's shocking to see a prestigious club deteriorate into a young team who only started playing football yesterday.

I think you are way to hard on Pochettino to be honest. Yes it is true, that he has never won a trophy during his pretty long first stay at Tottenham but i also think that Tottenham is just not as strong as the other big clubs in the Premier League. So to say that he is not a good trainer just because he did not win a title with a team, is not really fair in my opinion. He even managed to reach the Champions League final with them in 2019 against clubs that definitely were stronger than them. So i think that Pochettino definitely is a great coach.
So i think he is definitely a viable candidate, now that Nagelsmann seem to already have declined the offer of Tottenham.
291  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: why new projects on arbitrum gets so much attention ? on: April 27, 2023, 11:05:52 AM
Undoubtedly Oscar swap is coming along with great things like arbitrum blockchain , new additions to Dex but to my mind it has been unable to resolve the major issues that are being faced by crypto fraternity. People are scared of scams and frauds due to Dex but nothing has been incorporated in oscar to sort out this issue. Yeild farming will lead to market saturation. Due to repetition of  farming yield feature in every project crytpo market has fell to its lowest , it involves volatile and untested tokens that can destructive for users. Oscar team is lagging behind in digital marketing. No matter how much good your content is , if your page doesn’t appear among the top search results, it will become matter of opinion. To make OSCARSWAP stand out among other project it's team need to find a solution to these problems

I personally did not get any Arbitrum from that big airdrop, therefore i am not really following all the new projects and stuff that is appearing on the Arbitrum Network. Even i have noticed though, that the Arbitrum chain is very hot at the moment. For me the reason for that is that big airdrop because ten of thousands of people have gotten a significant 500$+ airdrop and a lot of people even got way more. Of course that wealth is now on that chain and therefore those people that were getting the airdrop also want to use that wealth to create even more income from it. That is why the TVL on the Arbitrum chain is so high because everyone is putting their "free" money to work.
292  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: One Car at a Time: How NFTs are Helping Combat Global Air Pollution! on: April 26, 2023, 04:21:22 PM
Introducing a novel way to combat climate change: Carbon NFTs from NFTCar. By purchasing high-polluting cars, scrapping them, and generating NFTs, Carbon NFTs offer a verifiable solution to reduce your carbon footprint to zero. Each NFT represents the removal of one ton of CO2 at a cost of $80 USD per ton.
The carbon footprint of a car is determined by its age, mileage, and average fuel consumption, projecting the amount of CO2 it would have emitted over the next ten years. Each Carbon NFT is uniquely linked to a specific car through its VIN, age, mileage, and fuel consumption, which are recorded on the blockchain and government registry. This means that anyone can easily verify the carbon emissions reduction associated with each NFT, without any potential for fraud or misrepresentation.
With air pollution contributing to around 4.2 million premature deaths globally, and cars being responsible for up to 80% of urban air pollution, Carbon NFTs offer an exciting and effective way for individuals to take ownership of their carbon emissions and make a positive impact.
What are your thoughts on this new technology? Do you believe it has the potential to significantly impact climate change? Let's discuss.

I already read stuff, that it might be possible that every person gets a certain amount of CO2 emissions that he or she is allowed to produce in a certain time frame and that if you are above that limit, you have to pay a fee or a fine or something like that. So if this really becomes a reality in the future, which i don't hope, then the governments also need a way to track the persons CO2 emissions. This could possibly happen with the use of Blockchain technology because there everything is recorded and can not be changed afterwards and if someone is above his level but does not want to pay a fee, then he could a NFT from you for example.
I just don't know if it makes sense to scrap a car, that is still working flawlessly just create some NFT's. I think in the end that is even more harmful for the environment. So you should really only scrap those 40+ year old cars that are only used anymore in poor countries.
293  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ESports betting -CS:GO, DOTA 2, LOL, Valorant - Sportsbet.io discussion thread on: April 26, 2023, 04:04:23 PM
Berlin Major has just stated today and this should be a good one not just for watching but for betting as well. Patch looks solid , I've played a few games myself and it seems Dota is way more balanced than ever. Sure , there is a lot of gold on the map and new way to farm but overall , we won't see big gold leading like 30-40k and if that happens , is just very late game.

I also really like the new patch because it was probably the biggest change to Dota 2 in at least 3 years or so. It is also pretty exciting as a viewer of the Berlin Major that started today, because even the teams that were the best in the last few months like Team Liquid and Gaiming Gladiators still need time to adjust to the new patch and it is very much possible that other teams could be stronger now with the new patch.
Of course this makes it also harder to make some good predictions for betting. I mean if you look at the matchup of Gaiming Gladiators vs. EG earlier then this was obvious again. In the first match GG totally stomped EG, so a win for GG as most people would have expected i would guess, but then in game 2 EG was very dominant and won convincingly.
It is probably best to wait a few matches and then start betting after we have a better feeling about how well the teams are doing with the new patch.
294  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Europa League 2022/23 Season on: April 26, 2023, 09:27:18 AM
While Rome seems to be better for now, we know that anything can happen in tournaments. Sevilla was a team that almost didn't get a chance in the Manchester United matchup. Playing brilliantly in qualifying, they wiped Manchester United off the field and passed the qualifying. The same can be said for these qualifiers. The definitive favorite team is no more.

I have seen many people saying, that Juventus and AS Roma are the two big teams in the Europa League now and that they are favorites to win the competition, but i don't really agree with that. Looking only at the current value of the squads, Bayer Leverkusen has the highest value, very close before Juventus, but then AS Roma and also Sevilla are far behind that.
Yes, Roma has a very experienced coach with Jose Mourinho but to be honest he never really was a coach that let his team play good and attractive football. They are always playing with a big aggression and defensively. Of course this could work against Leverkusen because they have a team of young and very talented players that could be intimidated by a lot of aggression.
295  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to avoid a scam project? on: April 26, 2023, 09:26:17 AM
There are so many new projects launching everyday and some of them can be good and some of them can be a scam as well. How can we identify it well? Perhaps we should have more discussion about it so we all can learn from everyone's experience.

Scams really are a big problem in the crypto space. Probably because it is pretty simple and also pretty cheap to create another crypto project. You just fork some other already existing project and pay the minting fee and that is pretty much it. You don't even need a team for it. One guy that has watched a tutorial video or read a little can do it. Most of those projects are meme-coins (=shit-coins)
So my first advice would be to totally ignore meme-coins because there the chances for a scam are the highest because of the reasons i stated above.
If you are investing into a project, that really wants to solve a problem or is trying something new, then you should always do your research. Take a look at the team, check if they have a linkedin profile or something, read the whitepaper and the roadmap and look if it makes sense. Also check the tokenomics of a project.
296  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Germany League - Bundesliga Prediction Thread on: April 25, 2023, 04:45:24 PM

The victory of Union Berlin was very important. They did not win three games before that game. But the next game will be very difficult for them. They will play against Leverkusen and Leverkusen has finally reached an international position in the table. Both teams are closely followed by Freiburg and Mainz. Mainz have not lost since 10 matchdays and are playing good football. The loser from the match Union - Leverkusen will surely slip down one place in the table.

If you are not a specific fan of one of those clubs but from the Bundesliga as a whole, then i would say, that the best thing would be if Bayern Munich, RB Leipzig, Borussia Dortmund and Bayer Leverkusen would qualify for the Champions League and Union Berlin and SC Freiburg only for the Uefa Cup. I really like both Berlin and Freiburg, but i just think that both of them are playing an exceptional season and that both of them would have a very hard time to do well in the Champions League in the next season. Leverkusen and Leipzig simply have higher chances in my opinion to do well in the CL and to advance into the knockout stage.
297  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Sui TokenSale on Bybit, OKX and Kucoin? on: April 25, 2023, 04:40:47 PM
https://www.kucoin.com/news/en-announcement-of-sui-token-sale-on-kucoin-spotlight
Has anyone participating or already onboarding on the three exchanges? They got an allowlist sale for community member and Ive got an entry however theres a restriction on their exchange(Bybit).
The price is $0.03 versus the $0.1 public sale on Kucoin this would be a great deal if we are able to participate. The upcoming sale would be held on May 1, still hoping to fix and able to join my allowlist slot on Bybit.

I interacted a bit with the SUI testnet and minted NFT's and stuff but it seems like that was not enough to get on the allowlist for that better price in the public sale. I just login to KuCoin to check and the main-sale on Kucoin is pretty big. They want to raise 22,5 Million $ their and every user can invest up to 1000$. Also as you already mentioned, the price is 0,1 per SUI. If i have read correctly, then SUI has a total supply of 10 Billion coins, which would mean the total marketcap with the public sale price would already be 1 Billion $. That is just way to high in my opinion. With such a high valuation you are already a top 50 project even with the public sale price. So not much room to grow from there. I don't invest here.
Of course if i would get the chance to participate in the allowlist sale, then i would invest.
298  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2022/23 Season on: April 25, 2023, 12:52:52 PM
I think whoever gets to the final from the Man City vs Real tie will win the trophy. The two Italian teams really aren't that good. I mean they’re 4th and 6th in Serie A.
I think it’s Man City’s year but this is Real’s playground, will be a fascinating watch.

I definitely agree with everyone in here that is saying that Manchester City is the strongest team in this season and therefore the big favorite to win the Champions League this year, BUT that was also already the case in the last year and the year before that but still they were not able to win that competition yet. I think that Pep Guardiola sometimes wants to make to special things when playing those very big matches like the semi-final or the final of the CL. He overcomplicates the game than and makes it harder for his team. He should just let them play as usual and they have a very high chance to win it this year.
Of course Real Madrid is still a very dangerous opponent and you also need luck, momentum and so on.
299  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Anybody know a crypto that specifically targets older gpu's on: April 25, 2023, 12:47:46 PM
I'm looking for a pow coin that would specifically target older gpu's that were made 2016 and before.

As the other guy in the thread has already mentioned, you can always go to sites like whattomine and check which coin out there is giving the best return at the moment, when you mine it with your old graphic card. That being said, I don't think, that there is a coin out there which is more profitable to mine with a old gpu than with a new one, because that would just not make any sense at all.
Older GPU's simply have a lower hashrate than new ones and this means they are providing less hashpower to the network and therefore also get less rewards per time. You can look for very old projects that are almost not mined anymore, but i would guess that would also not really be profitable, because you won't be able to sell those coins then.

It's a hard moment for Bayern leverkusen,   Wolveburg already behind them with just a point. After succeeding 3 strong fixture (wolveburg, Frankfurt and St gilloise, without losing any, Another home match for them and a tough one for that matter. I don't think Leverkusen will be moving up in the Bundesliga standing cuz they Still expecting more tough matches coming their way after today clash with Liepzig. I know that one amongst Union Berlin,  Köln and Roma, will have to defeat Leverkusen, and this will be very careful to them in the standing

The game of Leverkusen vs. RB Leipzig has just ended and Leverkusen was able to win their match yet again with 2-0. Leverkusen now has 4 wins in a row in the Bundesliga and it really looks like they could still have a chance to reach rank 4, which would qualify them for the Champions League for next season. At the moment they are only 5 points behind.
I have watched the whole game and i have to say, that i feel kinda sorry for RB Leipzig, they definitely were not the worse team they even dominated the game for the majority of the time and are leading in most stats, they just were not efficient enough.
This reminds me of the game of Dortmund vs. Leipzig where they also were the better team but in the end they have lost to Dortmund too.
