Guess nobody will be able to tell you which coin to buy to make an easy profit as nobody knows where the market is going.
I personally expect WGR (Wagerr) to do x5 probably when the mainnet launches (5 days from now it will launch), but nobody knows, I just hope it will.

Thats a cool story. But as you said, its was just pure luck. Not anyone who invests blindly without any research will make profit. But nowadays as the markets are going crazy and the overall trend of crypto seems to only know one direction, its very easy to make profits.
I would diversify my portfolio into some long term coins and some mid term coins, mid term I would look into the top ten coins, long term in coins like Aeternity or Ardor.

I dont think that Bitcoin or any crypto can make Banks disappear. Banks are very important for a lot of people, because they dont even know how to use Bitcoin and on top of that they cant be put in responsability to handle all their finances by their own.
I hope that there will be more people of course will use Bitcoin but it cant disappear the banks and that will also not happen. Banks wont disappear, they will just change the way they operate in the future.

I agree with the OP that the big amount of currencies that are availible is overwhelming and its currently a hassle to use the ones you need because you have to go through an exchange to convert your crypto to the needed currency. This is costly (in terms of transaction and trading fees) and time consuming as well. I hope that in the near future we will have working ways to use atomic swaps. If this way of exchanging currencies will be up and running there wont be an issue with having a vast amount of curencies as exchanging will be easy and cheap. I think then the diversity will be great, but for now, its just a hassle.

50 bucks is a joke to invest. A retard can make money with $50 bucks in this industry. You will not make life changing income. Your better off putting it into a stick with a pick at the end and using that stick to pick up aluminum cans then sell those cans for more money then invest.;
Well, I think this all depends on the timespan and the risk OP is willing to take. I have made several 50 bucks investments beginning 2017, and guess what, a lot of those 50 bucks turned to 2-3 thousand bucks by now and I still keep holding those. If you are going to put in only $50, I would just put them in and forget about the coins for the years to come. |

Soon, medicine will reach a whole new level that will increase life expectancy to 150 years.  I think this will actually happen in our lifespan. IF you see the pace of all developments. I'm pretty sure a Cancer treatment is at most some years away! I actually know people who truly believe that the aging problem will be fixed in our lifetime and that there is a big chance that we can live a lot longer without dying from natural disease. I dont know what to think of that Well, the question is what you understand under the "aging problem"? If you mean aging in general, this wont be stopped unless you find a way to stop time. But people are living longer than they did 50 years ago and this trend is ongoing constantly. However for me the question is if life is only prolonged through the help of medicine, will it still be worth living for the people that are undergoing these medical prolonging of life? |

ICORating is a great site for that. They have a meter bar that shows the hype and the risk associated with an ICO. Oh thats really nice, I didnt know that before. As the hype around a project is reflecting the interest and therefore the likelyness of its value going up after hitting the exchange, this is a great feature. Thanks for pointing that out. So far I always evaluated the hype around a project from following the telegram channels and the Announcement thread here on the forum. |

I would not consider 200€ a small amount to start with. I would suggest to put it in something safe so that your investment will grow slowly but surely, your picks are nice for that purpose. But thats just me. Maybe you are a risk taker and can deal with the loss of those 200€, then I would put it in something with low market cap and low circulating supply, maybe something like SUMO. But you should always do your own research, no investment advice here.

Are new signups on a hold too on HitBTC? I tried to sign up for several days now, but all it shows when I try to sign up is a pop up showing the message: undefined. What does this mean? Anyone else facing this problem?
Yeah, just tried to test sign up and encountered the same error as you. why do you want to create an account here anyways? they got tons of problems right now, better sign up elsewhere for trading! i'm glad i don't use hitbtc no more. Actually I dont want to do business there. I avoided trading there so far and want to continue to do so, but unfortunately there is an ICO that will be only trading on HitBTC once the ICO closes. As my country was restricted of participating in their ICO I will be forced to buy on the exchange if I want to get hold of some coins. Im scared that the price will shoot up fast after hitting the exchange because many countries with buying power were restricted. Thats why I wanted to sign up there. But as it seems, it just shall not be. |

Totally agree. I was about to write the same. Bancor is a coin that really has a huge potential and it will likely enfold this potential throughout 2018 with more and more projects using the Bancor network. Another coin that could explode in 2018 is Aeternity in my opinion. If the Aeternity team will accomplish what is planned, only sky is the limit. |

Im also invested in SONM and SNT since the ICO. I believe that both of those will be winners in 2018 if their products will be released and up and running. Both have a huge disruptive potential in their sectors and will likely be valued a lot higher than they are now. Really looking forward to see them perform throughout 2018. I dont know the other coins you mentioned. |

Im holding on to my NEO that I bought over half a year ago. I believe that the NEO blockchain is still on the beginning of its journey and that there is a long way of prosperity for it to come. Im looking forward for it to reach $300 in no time. Maybe by march 2018. Im highly confident in NEO.

Until some days ago I didnt even know what Tron was, but I have received some free TRON on several exchanges and will just keep them in hope of the price going up more. I dont think that this story about the sell off is true, its likely just another attempt to scare investors and to push the price down to buy in cheap. Its always the same in cryptospace.

As already suggested I would take a look at Envion. They already raised more than sixty million USD in the ICO. But you need to be fast, the ICO is only ongoing until january 14. After that it will be traded on HitBTC with other exchanges following. Im not only advertising this project because of my signature, I really believe in it. Do your own research on it and see for yourself.
Another ICO with potential in my opinion is LiveEdu, their ICO will start on january 15. and last for one month. I would also suggest to take a look at them.

Pinkcoin really is an interesting project. I looked into it a few weeks back and was impressed by it. Love the concept. You might be right with it being undervalued at the moment. Unfortunately I dont have funds to spare at the moment, because there are so many coins that I want to buy. But as soon as I will have sold some positions I will likely buy some Pinkcoin too.
