1161  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: IOTA - buy some more? on: December 07, 2017, 10:27:07 AM
Maybe i LIST of all exchange where iota is tradeble can be usefully?!

You can find this kind of list on coinmarketcap.com, there under the tab "markets" you can see all exchanges where IOTA is tradable. At this high pricing I actually would not buy more IOTA, you must bear in mind that IOTA has had a really sharp increase in no time, and now we can already wittness the dip. I dont know how low it will go, but I set my entry at ~$3 to buy back in (sold at $4.25).
1162  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC2] Einsteinium | FUNDING THE FUTURE WITH THE FUTURE OF CURRENCY on: December 07, 2017, 10:22:04 AM
As Bitcoin is pumping and broke the $15,000 mark today, many alts suffered and are in the reds now. But not EMC2, we are still looking at a constant rise and are ranging proudly at almost $2,5, thats just great! I wonder if we might even be able to break $4 this year, what do you think?
1163  Economy / Economics / Re: Your bitcoin experience, how did it started? on: December 07, 2017, 03:15:00 AM
My story was that I heard about Bitcoin early, I guess in 2011 but I had no interest at all and just left it be. I totally forgot about it but have sometimes read some articles about it but unfortunately didnt get involved. Than little more than a year ago I was playing my favourite video game and this one guy came to the chat and told us about crypto he introduced me to this forum and I started to read and finally decided to invest some money and get involved. Best decision! Still kicking my ass for not showing interest earlier...
1164  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: All the new so called 'airdrops' requesting you send Eth on: December 07, 2017, 02:36:21 AM
Im really sick of all those nonesense airdrops. Most of them are scams anyway and do nothing good for the space, only some greedy people that call themselves "devs" that want to get rich off others backs. You are right! This has to be stopped, but how? Its ridiculous that they now even ask for money... could you scam even more obvious?
1165  Other / Off-topic / Re: how to be positive on: December 07, 2017, 02:33:25 AM
In hard times I always remember myself that I have a good health condition and can be thankful for that. I also always remember myself of the nice things that have happened in my life and think of the people that I love. This helps me to stay positive most of the time.
1166  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Why do we need to gamble? on: December 07, 2017, 02:29:14 AM
Gambling appears to me that for most people its just the dream to become rich. The problem is gambling addiction, it should not be important to people to gamble, as it can bring a lot of harm to them and their families, besides of loosing money. I have no problem with gambling in general though. I gamble sometimes myself, but only for fun and I would not consider myself a gambler, because I always do it with limits and only once in a while.
1167  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Pump and Dump. How to make a profit? on: December 07, 2017, 02:21:59 AM
I would advise to be very careful with pumps and dumps, the possibility of loosing money is very high and most of the time only a small group of p&d people makes good profits. If you are not in those circles (telegram groups for example) you will learn about the pump when its already too late or has been prepumped already for days and therefor you think the pump is just starting, but in reality its not. Be careful! I avoid this stuff.
1168  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Again problem with Myetherwallet-CryptoKitties! on: December 07, 2017, 02:17:51 AM
I also experienced the same thing, this is really very annoying. Whereas some alt is pumping and I want to sell it to make a profit, this is obviously very detrimental to the traders. I think there is a problem in my network and device, this game is the cause.

Do you know how long eth network returns to normal?

As long as there is no solution to this crypto kitties issue, there will be a constant backlog of transactions congesting the Ethereum blockchain. The only thing one can do is to set a higher gas price (gwei) and therefore get the transactions confirmed with priority. The problem with withdrawals from exchanges still would exist though because in most cases you cant choose the gas price yourself and they likely choose a low gas price to make maximum profit off the withdrawal fee. This thing really hurts traders.
1169  Economy / Economics / Re: Will the next crypto-depression be longer/harder than 2014-2017 ? on: December 07, 2017, 02:12:09 AM
If you're a Masterluc fan his latest forecast is a rise to $25,000 ish, then a fall to $10,000 ish and then the journey to another galaxy begins in 2019 and peaks 2021. So in his opinion a lengthy lull will happen again.

I just read about masterluc in another thread. His forecast was that we will hit $15,000 before the end of this year, and he is most likely right! Its the first time I hear of him and am very interested to learn more. Can you give me advice where to follow him and where to read about him / his trades / forecasts? I would much appreciate it!

As I was not around at the first depression (only in crypto for a little over a year now), I cant tell much about it. However I think that we are gaining so much traction and publicity nowadays that I cant imagine that another big depression will follow soon. The easy funding model of ICO's also did add another side to crypto. Crypto can nowadays be used for way more than only as currency. There are utility token that can be used for a lot of different stuff, there are equity token that are like a share in real world companies, I guess one has to consider those newly emerged things as well.
1170  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best altcoins to invest right now? on: December 07, 2017, 02:02:03 AM
Look at Ardor. Price is rising fast and its main chain will start soon. If its a success price should start to moon. Of course there is never a guarantee for anything but investing now should bring a nice profit medium and long term.

I was about to suggest Ardor as well. The prospect of the Ardor blockchain is great and its likely that they will succeed. Even if they wont achieve all thats planned, there will still be a huge possibility to go at least x10 in 2018. Thats my prediction, but always do your own research!
1171  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ETH question on: December 07, 2017, 01:59:37 AM
As far as I know your assumption that low gased transactions will never be picked up as long as there are constantly incoming higher gased transactions is true. Miners will always pick the ones with higher gas first, because that is how they make their money. However if a low gased transaction is not able to be confirmed for a long time it will eventually be returned, so funds being send with too low gas wont be tied up indefinitely. I dont know how long it takes until they are returned though.
1172  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Possible reasons that Bitcoin will be gone on: December 07, 2017, 01:28:59 AM
I think that a real threat to Bitcoin could be that if prices keep rising and therefore mining being even more profitable and then many more people wanting to jump on that train and therefore starting to mine. This will lead to a massive energy usage that most countries wont be able to supply. Therefore governments sure will step in and maybe prohibit mining. As mining is something physical, its not that easy to do if its considered illegal. I think that this could become a real issue for Bitcoin and crypto in the future.
1173  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Hits $14,000! on: December 07, 2017, 01:24:43 AM
Likely that we see $15,000 in the next days. Definitely before new years eve. Bitcoins momentum doesnt break. This sharp rise in price every other day scares me though. I think its too fast. This may hurt many small investors soon when big players start to cash out. Hopefully it wont hurt the whole cryptospace.
1174  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still believe in ICO ? on: December 07, 2017, 01:11:55 AM
The number of ICO's that are worth investing is decreasing and the number of scam ICO's is increasing.

I still believe in ICO's and also like to invest in the ones that are legit and promising, but I think that there must be some changes to the space. For example I dislike that people start raising funds for mere ideas. If you want to do this, do it on a very small scale, nobody needs xx(x) millions to build a MVP.

I have become way more careful when doing my research on ICO's, I think this is the key, you have to do a lot of proper research and also ask the inconvenient questions, if you are then having a good overall feeling about an ICO you can invest.
1175  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as payment system on: December 07, 2017, 01:07:35 AM
Actually I would love to see Bitcoin as a general means of payment. This was the intention with which it was born and this should also be the way we use it nowadays. I think its a pity that Bitcoin is now looked at like it was a commodity. Especially new people that learn about Bitcoin now are often looking at it this way. Hopefully this will change sooner or later and Bitcoin will become what it was supposed to be.
1176  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Tell me I'm wrong: Does cryptokitties expose the weaknesses of ETH? on: December 07, 2017, 12:58:07 AM
This whole thing scares the shit out of me. Shows just that the network is still in its infancy and not at all ready for a broader audience, although there is always advertising like that. What might happen if now people start to spill out similar dapps on the market for example with pokemons or some other stuff for the masses. Could this bring the whole network down? Or make it so congested that its not usable anymore at all?
1177  Economy / Speculation / Re: Legendary Bitcoin Trader “masterluc” Predicts $15,000 Bitcoin This Year on: December 07, 2017, 12:51:45 AM
Wow, what a precise prediction. I never heard of masterluc before, but I now definitely will read up what I can find about him. Seems like he is on top of his game still. Right before the end of 2017 we will see the $15,000.
1178  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: December 07, 2017, 12:42:04 AM
Can anyone advice me what requirments are to be met to get listed on Binance? I am very curious about this, because we are looking to place our wonderful project soon on many exchanges. Binance would be the best. Appreciate every help.

Here are some tips for listing on Binance, full tips details here https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/binance-listing-tips-changpeng-zhao and apply for listing here https://docs.google.com/forms/d/e/1FAIpQLSdVsG5lKRRW_pfak1zCU6oydw_I6k391we5BQAmjjqjNp1hAw/viewform

User Base
Show us you have a large user base, with multiple easily verifiable sources such as Alexa, Twitter, Reddit, Telegram, etc.

Product
You should have a working product or at least a prototype. Something we can download and play with. It needs to work and be impressive.

Code
If your project is not open-source, you better have a product with a constant stream of new features and releases. If your project is open-source, we like to see an active GitHub repo.

Team
When it comes to the team, we care about history more than ability. Afterall, anyone can claim they know C++, but not that many can say they worked on bitcoind as part of the core team and have the commit history to back it up. The later gets priority.

Thank you a lot for this, hopefully we will be able to meet the requirments. It will take us some more time to do so I guess, but chances are high that this can work out in the near future.
1179  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Sia - Decentralized Storage on: December 07, 2017, 12:36:16 AM
I wouldn't look at the satoshi price. but focus on USD/Fiat price instead. BTC is on a rampage, to sat values are low, fiat price is making good progress though. Hopefully people realize, that the hard fork doesn't mean free Sia, and are investing because they see progress in the product's development.

I disagree here. It does make no sense to me to look at the USD value of a Coin that is traded only against BTC. Furthermore I (as we all) invested in SIA with BTC so the only thing one should orientate himself on is the BTC value: initial investment value vs current investment value. This shows us if our investment did good or not. I only look at the USD value of coins that have a decent trading volume as well against USD (BTC, ETH, DASH, EOS, IOTA are examples).
1180  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] [WGR] | Wagerr | The Betting Blockchain | Bounties on: December 07, 2017, 12:31:39 AM
Heya all, I got a question.  It's been a few months since I've done anything with WGR, is the Wagerr token on waveswallet.io exchange still the correct one to buy?  I think the identifier is the same, but it doesn't have a green check mark anymore, so I'm not sure if it's the right one.  Anyone know?

Hey, the last time I checked my Waves Litewallet my WGR still had a green check mark. But I would advise you to be really careful if the token you are looking at does not have a green check mark, as it is very easy to create new tokens on Waves, there are copycats of almost all tokens there. I would suggest you to contact the WGR support or ask in the slack channel for clarification before you do any trade.
