1061  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: where can i buy IOTA? on: December 09, 2017, 12:08:15 AM
The biggest market for IOTA is still Bitfinex (it was the first exchange it was publicly traded on), there you can also trade USD/IOTA. Bitfinex is fine, but beware, it was hacked once and I would not leave the coins there for long. Better get them off the exchange asap. As far as I read Bittrex will list IOTA in the near future.
1062  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO's are finally coming to an end! on: December 09, 2017, 12:04:28 AM
November was a pretty slow month for ICO's, but december sheds a different light already. I dont think that ICO's are over yet, I think that this is only the beginning. With regulations coming in and more succesful people entering the space we can expect a way bigger ICO boom. Imagine Elon Musk starting an ICO. Just my opinion on it, but I dont think we are near to the end.
1063  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do we Need Altcoin? on: December 08, 2017, 11:52:44 PM
Of course altcoins have a right to exists as well. There are different use cases for altcoins, most are not competing with Bitcoin and dont want to serve as a currency. Many got totally different use cases and features. I think alts are very good for prosperity of the cryptospace, but on the other hand I think that there are too much sh*tcoins out that get too much attention. Its getting more hard to keep oversight.
1064  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SAFEX is gonna go HARD! starting in December on: December 08, 2017, 11:49:16 PM
How long is the SAFEX coin out? I saw it today for the first time on the exchange and it was pumping quite a bit. Is this project somehow similar to BitBay in one way or another?
1065  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: O.5 BTC... What do you think about this portfolio? on: December 08, 2017, 11:44:06 PM
Your portfolio looks solid to me, however I would add BTC as the last coin to it. If you want to make it a alt-only portfolio you might add komodo or my recent favourite BitBay. No investment advice here, just my personal favourites at the moment.
1066  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: what do you think about pump and dump? on: December 08, 2017, 11:38:53 PM
I think that Pump and Dumps are a bad thing and I did never participate in one and also dont plan to do so. You must keep in mind that there is always somebody that has to take your trade. So with every pump and dump that is happening some people make money while others are loosing it. P&D's are market manipulations and nothing else, they should be banned completely and hopefully will when the markets start to get regulated.
1067  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is there any one who won significant amount of satoshi in gambling..?? on: December 08, 2017, 11:36:24 PM
Cant share a strategy with you as Im not a gambler, but I played Ethroll three times, two times I lost the bet and the third time I won with higher risk, this covered my losses and made me even a small profit. As Im not a gambler I didnt resume playing after that, but I might do it again if my mood is up for it.
1068  Other / Off-topic / Re: Flat Earth on: December 08, 2017, 11:22:48 PM
I cant answer OP's question, but I recently saw on television that a guy (forgot his name) wants to launch his self built rocket to proove that the earth is flat. I hope he does not die on his mission.
1069  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Amazing profits from ICO’s? ✅ on: December 08, 2017, 11:11:09 PM
Hi,

I think some people need more patient with their investment in ICO.
Check www.icostats.com. The profits are amazing!

You also need to have a good project for profits..

Thats so true. Nowadays people are so impatient because they are blind for reality of investments. No investment should make instant returns. As the verb "to invest in something" already implies, you put something in in the expectation that it will grow and turn out better. This cant happen within a week or a month. People in this space really need to be more patient and wait for the projects they invested in to deliver on their promises, everything before that happening is called market speculation and is nothing real.
1070  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Who is buying WAVES? on: December 08, 2017, 11:09:00 PM
I hold Waves since half a year and did not regret it so far, just love the platform and the lite wallet. I will continue holding because I expect great things from Waves in the near future, 2018 will be great. There are some nice things upcoming. If we see another correction and I have free funds I might buy more.
1071  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Binance: $BNB The Future of Exchanges. on: December 08, 2017, 10:39:19 PM
Guys is it just for me or are Binance withdrawals without 2fa via google authenticator not possible anymore? I must admit I hate google authenticator and so far didnt set up 2fa on Binance. I know its silly, but I just prefer SMS authentication.

Yeah, it looks like 2FA is mandatory before withdrawing now.

SMS verification is worse security anyways.  People had their accounts robbed on Kraken because they were using SMS verification instead of Google Auth:
https://blog.kraken.com/post/219/security-advisory-mobile-phones/

FreeOTP is an open-source fork of Google Auth that works with Google 2FA, in case you don't want to trust the closed-source Google Auth app from the Google Play store:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/FreeOTP

Furthermore, you can buy a cheap smartphone for the sole purpose of loading all your 2FA tokens onto it.

Thanks for the quick answer. I didnt know that sms auth wasnt secure, actually I always thought that SMS authentication was the safest method, thanks for making me aware that its not. I guess now as I have downloaded google auth again I can just stick to it. However this is actually the case with me, I dislike to use google products if Im forced to, also thanks for showing me that there was a way around it. Good idea with the second smartphone for this purpose, guess Ill use my old one for it. Cheers mate!
1072  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Cardano speculation on: December 08, 2017, 10:33:56 PM
If Cardano reaches the market cap of Ethereum some day it would be trading at around $1.30. I think this isnt too far off given the popularity that it is having already and if it can make come true what they are planning. And as we all know, if a coin reaches this kind of market cap, everything can happen, maybe we will see much higher pricing after that.
1073  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Am I the only one this unlucky during my entry into investments and crypto? on: December 08, 2017, 10:30:00 PM
When I first got into crypto I also thought, yeah easy money I will just day trade a bit and multiply my money as everyone in the discord channel I was in back then was talking about. I lost half of the investment in no time and called it a day. Eversince I stick with holding and occasional trades. I only trade when I know exactly what I want to do and why. This worked out quite fine and Im happy with the outcome.
1074  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is Cardano smart contract platform better than Ethereum and NEO? on: December 08, 2017, 10:26:59 PM
Is the Cardano platform even launched yet? I know that it is supposed to be a platform that will be able to adapt to new situations and therefore be compliant with regulations etc, but all this is theory as of now right? Somehow Cardano is compelling to me, I dont agree that it is better than ETH though. ETH has delivered already, we know what ETH is capable of and a whole ecosystem has formed around the ethereum network. Cardano is still in the early days of its infancy and we will see where this journey is heading to. Im curious and will definitely be watching out for future developments of Cardano.
1075  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Viacoin (VIA) - Safe | Segwit | Lightning Network | Auxpow | Fast on: December 08, 2017, 09:59:59 PM
Did I understand correctly that I can use my nano ledger S to store VIA? I have some VIA still sitting on Bittrex but I want to store them for the long term. Can I store them on my ledger even if I already have BTC on there?
1076  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [PTOY] Patientory Healthcare on the Blockchain on: December 08, 2017, 09:54:35 PM
I may be wrong, and they might be scam artists, but it's too early to tell that yet. People in the crypto space expect instant returns, and product releases overnight. That's simply not realistic.

Couldnt agree more here. Many people nowadays look at crypto investments as an get rich quick scheme and if their investment does not return huge profits within a short time they are disappointed. Ask anyone working in the financial industry and tell him you want returns of x100 or x1000 within 2-3 months. They will think that you crazy. Investments bear risks and arent growing over night, thats the nature of it.
1077  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] QRL - Announcing the Quantum Resistant Ledger on: December 08, 2017, 09:49:10 PM
Qrl is the shit and the future....I bought 10 000 qrl....hodl until $1k

I also think that it is just smart to have some QRL in the portfolio. Our whole ecosystem can crash if quantum computing suddenly will get in the wrong hands. I think its neccesary to be prepared somehow if shit hits the fan, and QRL is the project to go! Looking forward to mainnet! Thanks for the answers guys, 1:1 was what I expected.
1078  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] | Logarithm (LGR) on: December 08, 2017, 09:27:30 PM
Can anyone tell me what the aim of Logarithm is? I really like how professional this project was conducted so far and I can see it going a long way, but I need to understand whats it purpose is. Thanks in advance!

"You can order cards exclusively through the official TenX wallet applications" > Link

Anyone can order TenX cards, but at the moment they only ship to European countries.

https://support.tenx.tech/hc/en-us/sections/115000236871-Orders-Shipping

Thanks a lot man! I heard about the shipment restrictions already, good that Im located in europe. Do you by chance know how long it does take them to produce and ship the card if I would order one now?

The waitlist in Europe is kinda empty. There is a good chance that you get the card at the end of December or in early January.

Hey, I didnt read your response earlier. I ordered a card now. Great that it will arrive this fast, I didnt expect that. I was thinking about february or something, but end of this month would be so awesome! Cant wait to spend some of my crypto finally, first thing I will do is to go to a supermarket and just buy me a tetra pak of milk (got this bet with a friend, he told me: come back to me when you can buy a milk for our coffee with your silly crypto).
