921  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If I had just hodl my bitcoins back a couple of months ago instead of trading on: December 11, 2017, 07:59:47 PM
Look at the bright side: you made some valuable experience here. Sure one would wish that he didnt have day traded or didnt buy altcoins etc. but there is no good in regretting. Be happy that you are here now, crypto is still in its infancy.
922  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ARK - Blockchains Interoperability with SmartBridge 🔹 ARK on BINANCE 🔹 on: December 11, 2017, 07:08:38 PM
ark is getting boring and the price is showing it

You haven't been around long enough to know what "boring" is. ARK is doing fine...

Second that, I also think that ARK has seen some good movements pricewise. If crypto will face another bearmarket anytime soon, then things will get really "boring".
923  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POWR][UPDATE] *** POWER LEDGER TOKEN SALE STARTS FRIDAY 8TH SEPTEMBER *** on: December 11, 2017, 07:06:11 PM
A promising project with such an organized team. Waiting for the update of the airdrop and more bounty for this project.

You sure you are in the wrong thread? There will neighter be an airdrop for POWR nor will there be another bounty program. The ICO was completed quite some time ago.
924  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: ANN [PTOY] Patientory Healthcare on the Blockchain on: December 11, 2017, 07:04:11 PM
What is going on, can you believe, Chrissa McFarlane was named one of the top 10 females in Crypto 2017 by Core Magazine! I just can`t believe in this, such a losses on this healthcare project, but Chrissa named as successfull business lady???

Guess this shows that women are clearly underrepresented in crypto space. Otherwise I see no reason why she should be up there to be honest. Galia Benartzi OK, Bancor came up with something and its usable already, but PTOY?!
925  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The price is out of control on: December 11, 2017, 07:00:45 PM
Seems like the start of trading for bitcoin futures accelerated the price even more. Im really curious where we will see Bitcoin at the end of this month. If this continous like this, 20k might be possible. But also the opposit could happen and we see it on 10k. I still agree with the OP, the price can go anywhere.
926  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to choose the right ICO? on: December 11, 2017, 06:48:57 PM
Do your own research! Dont listen to others, because they are most likely to shill the project or to troll it.

Does the project have an MVP?
Does the project have a good team?
Is the project based somewhere with proper jurisdictation and infrastructure?
Is there an usecase for the projects product?
Does this product need the blockchain?

What is your overall feeling towards the project after answering these questions and doing your due dilligence?
927  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading sucks, I'll just hold my coins on: December 11, 2017, 06:46:01 PM
The biggest mistake while you are watching huge price increase to read the people opinions in the chat or telegram groups. People are talking crazy things and they to much excited to think clear, logical and follow their strategy. If you unexperienced trader it's good idea just hodl strong assets like BTC or ETH for long term.

Exactly, this is why most people will fail, they listen to the others with crazy goals instead of setting their own personnal goals

Second this! I also made my first (very bad) trading experiences while listening to some people on a discord group and in another telegram group. I suffered quite some losses because of that and now base my decisions never on the opinions of others. Since I stick with that, I made good profits!
928  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] [WGR] | Wagerr | The Betting Blockchain | Bounties on: December 11, 2017, 06:37:29 PM
Hello,

Check XXX ! It’s the future!
Big potential project -good team and nice community!

You realize that you are in the wrong thread right? I guess people will buy your coin if they like to but this is the Wagerr thread, and there shouldnt be shilling of some forks.
929  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why do some government ban bitcoin? on: December 11, 2017, 06:35:34 PM
Well, Bitcoin or cryptocurrencies in general represent money, and governments hate when they loose control over anything, especially when they loose control over money. So some governments that are scared are choosing to try to ban crypto. Stupid decision if you ask me.
930  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NEM (XEM) Official Thread - 100% New Code - Easy To Use APIs on: December 11, 2017, 06:33:21 PM
Hi guys!

Please, help me.

Can't deposit to YoBit XEM from another website.
What support says:

Dear User!

Support answer:

Deposit\\Withdrawal coin will be available after you upgrade the source code of the wallet. Unfortunately the developers are in no hurry to send you updates
- therefore, in order to avoid the loss of users, the network is not available.
If you have updated the source code of the coin, send us (https://yobit.net/en/maintenance_request/ Free)and we will promptly correct the problem on the coin.
Thank you for contacted the support.

What should i do?

Thanks in advance!

avoid Yobit at all costs

you're welcome

Best advice one could give.

I made some bad experiences with Yobit too, now I avoid all those small shady exchanges, I only use them if there is really no other way and I desperately want to buy.
In the case that you cant avoid it and need to buy there, than its wise to do it in small fractions of your money, its safer to do several trades: deposit, trade, withdraw, repeat until you have achieved your goal.
931  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][EMC2] Einsteinium | FUNDING THE FUTURE WITH THE FUTURE OF CURRENCY on: December 11, 2017, 06:30:13 PM
I bought above $2 too..
I hope price will be rise soon up to $4-6.
What do you think? need sell of hold it?

Depends, if you believe in the project, I would suggest to hold, there is sure more to come and we will see higher pricing in 2018. If you dont believe in it and just jumped the hype train, sell it, but I would at least wait for the announcement that is comming end of the month, this might give us another rally.
932  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] TenX: Making Blockchain assets spendable on: December 11, 2017, 06:28:10 PM
Well, my first experience with the card is that regular shops do not accept the card. It is declined when trying to pay.

I tried 2 shops the other day and was unable to pay.
I tried another shop today and again the card was declined.

I then tried to take some cash from the ATM and that worked. So the card functions.

I cannot think of something else than that this type of Wavecrest (VISA) pre-paid card is not accepted by the regular payment system used by shops in my country of residence. So I do not expect it to be accepted in shops anywhere and presumably only at ATMs. This diminishes the practical use of the card. Hopefully, new cards come out soon without this issue or shops start to accept this type of card as well.

Hopefully I wont have to make this experience when my card arrives, otherwise I wont be able to buy me a tetra pak of milk and therefore wont win my bet. I didnt do the KYC level 2 yet, do I have to do this in order to use my card properly? Thanks in advance!
933  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] CLOUT - BOUNTY OPEN AGAIN, FIRST ROUND REWARDED, 2ND ROUND! on: December 11, 2017, 06:22:53 PM
Bounties for the first round will be paid out starting 17.12. did I understand that correctly? Is the ICO now still ongoing or did it get postponed to a later date? Thanks for the info.
934  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ⭐️⚡️LiveEdu: ⭐️⚡️ Decentralized peer-to-peer project learning network on: December 11, 2017, 06:15:10 PM
Why didn't you open a bounty thread for it?

It is impossible to read real comments about the project. Just twitter posts over and over again.

Actually there was a bounty thread, but it got merged into this thread some weeks ago and now we got this twitter situation. You can still read some discussion about the project on the first ~20 pages.
935  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ★[ANN] [NAV] NAV COIN - NAVTECH NOW DECENTRALIZED! on: December 11, 2017, 06:11:29 PM
So emergency Hard Fork - how many coins were stolen?

I just read your post and it sounds scary. Did this really happen, if so what happened actually? And what does a regular NAV holder has to do now? Are my coins at risk? Thanks in advance for the answers.
936  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin drop about 20% after Lloyd Blankfein comments. on: December 11, 2017, 06:07:58 PM
Another bankster that now wishes that he would have just kept his mouth shot. Funny how these guys keep ridiculing themselves. Thats some real amusement for our community. Perhaps he made those comments in the first place to spread fud so he could buy cheap.
937  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][POWR][UPDATE] *** POWER LEDGER TOKEN SALE STARTS FRIDAY 8TH SEPTEMBER *** on: December 11, 2017, 05:59:04 PM
Can I know what is the price of POWR during ICO? If it is USD 0.1, how can you guys claim to have lost money buying it ? I don't quite get the logic. Even though POWR is traded with BTC but ultimately you will convert BTC for fiat. This coin has gained at least 500% since ICO!

Well, not everybody here bought in at the ICO, actually I think those that have bought in the ICO arent complaining that they lost money. This would be really not neccessary after the rally of POWR. But this rally happened only because constantly kept buying POWR at higher prices, and now with the price retracing this much, many of us lost money.
938  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Bancor | Protocol for Smart-tokens, solving the liquidity problem on: December 11, 2017, 05:56:31 PM
Why is the Bancor Network volume on stox, gno so low atm? Because of the network issues?

This definitely could be the reason. People are on a hold in regards of using the Ethereum blockchain and waiting that this cryptokitty thing settles down. I suppose after it settling down we will see more volume on the tokenchangers again.

What is the ICO price of BNT?

The price at the TGE was 100 BNT / 1 ETH.

939  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: [ARK] Ark Speculation on: December 11, 2017, 05:52:30 PM
I expect to see ARK at least at $10 to $15 in 2018. Maybe even higher. ARK has so many great features that wait to be implemented and will be gamechanging. Thing is that the ARK team has to deliver on their promises, but if they manage to do so, this will be one of the gem altcoins that I dont want to miss out on.
940  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: CND HITS BINANCE!!!!!!! yeahhhhhhh up 60% on: December 11, 2017, 05:47:32 PM
Yes, indeed. Binance is one of my favorite too. I've been using it for months now. So far, so good. Though i use Bittrex too. Im a bit skeptic about Bittrex because of shady things they've been doing these past few weeks. Account disabling and account downgrading. That's very unethical and very unprofessional. Many people lost their money because of that. That sucks. Anyway, regarding on delisting BTS. I think it's a shitcoin. And also there's a rumor that it's about to be delisted on Poloniex. But Bittrex should remove a lot more shitcoins at their platform

Agreed. I avoid Bittrex whenever I can. The shady things you are referring to are normally only to be seen on exchanges like Yobit or Liqui, but lately there are more and more reports from Bittrex as well. I have no doubt that all those centralized exchanges are making a ton of money while they "maintain" the wallets and therefore prevent their costumers from having control over their money. Im wishing for the day when all the centralized exchanges have to close down for good and we are only doing our exchange business via atomic swaps. This and DEX's are the future of exchanging crypto! As for BTS Im very suspicious about this coin, many people say that its flawed. Time will tell how this turns out...
