421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: THEKEY - Decentralized identification verification ecosystem on: January 08, 2018, 07:43:16 PM
Thats definitely an interesting project and from what I can tell from the telegram group its very professional and well managed. Everything seems well thought through. Identity verification will be a big field that will be very much needed in the near future. I will invest in the ICO and do also participate in the bounty.
422  Economy / Economics / Re: Worst bitcoin decision you've ever made? on: January 08, 2018, 07:04:00 PM
Well my worst decision regarding bitcoin would be not getting involved when I had the chance to do so when I first learned about it. Stupid me just trusted the dumb mainstream media that was fudding Bitcoin. But hey, I learned a lot since then, not to forget not to blindly trust the media.
423  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] Ethereum: Welcome to the Beginning on: January 08, 2018, 06:45:15 PM
what a surprise, eth just reached $1,146.19 USD  on coinmarketcap !! Finally!!! The only crypto to kept its ascending during the last 24 h

Yeah thats well deserved after Ethereum was creeping up so slow while other coins like Dash got valued this high. I do believe that Ethereum should be valued much higher, and am highly confident that we will see a lot of growth in the coming months. Go Ethereum!
424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: VOISE - Revolution of the music industry on: January 08, 2018, 05:58:23 PM
So great to be part of this project. I do think that this will have a very bright future. The projects team is acting very professional and taking feedback from the community very seriously. Thats exactly what every newly emerging project should do in my opinion. A strong community is key to sustain in this space.
425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Still believe in ICO ? on: January 08, 2018, 05:31:36 PM
I surely do still believe in ICO's. I think that this funding model is revolutionizing the way people can invest their money. It has granted many people the opportunity to invest that didnt had the possibility before. Prior investing was something only a small fraction of people had access too, but now everyone can invest. Although I do think that ICO's are still in their infancy and that there is a lot of regulatory work is to be done. But Im confident that ICO's are here to stay!
426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: If you have now 500$ for invest? Where you invest? on: January 08, 2018, 05:15:02 PM
Totally depends on whether I want to make a safe bet or if I want to gamble this $500. If you ask me right now, I would gamble with those $500 as the possible profit is much higher, but so is the risk. I would put the money in a low market cap coin with low supply, such as CLOAK or SUMO. But thats just me.
427  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Amazon Will Accept Bitcoin Speculation on: January 08, 2018, 05:04:53 PM
I dont think that Amazon is likely to accept Bitcoin in the near future. Companies like Amazon wont just add a currency as payment method that isnt recognized by the authorities. I think that there needs to be a regulatory framework around crypto before we will witness such a thing. Maybe this wont become a reality with Bitcoin, but with another cryptocurrency that is regulatory compliant like cardano. Time will tell, but Im certain that sooner or later we will be able to buy stuff with our crypto at these big companies like amazon as well.
428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are The Banks Scared of Bitcoin? on: January 08, 2018, 05:02:07 PM
I dont think that banks are actually scared by cryptocurrencies or Bitcoin. I guess the smart banks are researching crypto integration for quite some time now and will be ready to adopt it when the time comes. I believe that the bankers wont be lazy when it comes to educate themselves about the inevitable. So in order to keep their power they surely are deep into Bitcoin and crypto. No doubt about that.
429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: 🔴 $1M 🔴 [Bounty][ICO] NUCLEUS.VISION 🔶 The Future of IoT+Retail | $1M BOUNTY on: January 08, 2018, 04:59:41 PM
Thats a very interesting project, I do believe that IoT will be the future. This technology will bring so many benefits to mankind. Too bad I was late to discover this bounty program. Nevertheless I hope that the crowdsale will be a big success. I might participate as well.
430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Bounties (Altcoins) / Re: [BOUNTY] IDEX - 🔵 TOKENSALE IS LIVE!!! BOUNTY OVER!!! 🔵 on: January 08, 2018, 04:50:49 PM
Hey there, will there also be a spreadsheet where we can see how much tokens the email newsletter campaign is awarded with? Looking forward to the token distribution! Great that the ICO of IDEX sold out, its the most convenient to use decentralized exchange I used so far, it deserved a successful ICO!
431  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: A very very long term Hodling advice on: January 08, 2018, 03:30:48 PM
Hi, I hold a few tokens of varied nature and a few coins. I have setup a few eth addresses for the younger members of my family. I am talking about kids that are less than 3 yr old   Wink So, what would you include in their new accounts, so that they can use it in 15 yrs?

Well thats a pretty cool idea. I was also thinking of doing this for my niece. I would suggest to put some coins of the top 20 coins in it.  As you are thinking of really long term investing here, it might be smart to put coins with a high supply in it, like XRP or ADA, as these coins might take longer to grow, but you will be able to buy more of them now for not such a big investment.
432  Other / Off-topic / Re: Transgenders. on: January 08, 2018, 03:27:01 PM
Crazy stuff. I do understand why some people feel threatened by transexual people because they kind of shatter their religious beliefs and so on, but I dont get why people have to be so cruel to them. Live and let live is my credo. I also do not know any transexual people, but as long as they would be nice to me I would be nice to them.
433  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are You Disappointed In Trading? on: January 08, 2018, 03:23:21 PM
Well, disappointed would be the wrong word for my feeling towards trading. I rather think that I would have performed way better by just holding the coins that I traded when I started with cryptocurrencies. For now I do just hold most of my coins, I only have a small fraction of my portfolio witch which Im trading. The buy and hold strategy is best in my opinion, but of course only with enough research and confidence in a project.
434  Economy / Speculation / Re: Do you check Bitcoin price everyday? on: January 08, 2018, 03:21:03 PM
Yes I do, not only Bitcoin price though. I do check my whole portfolio every day. Or to be honest once a day is a too small number - I do more likely check my portfolio (on blockfolio) around 5 times a day at least. Actually I know that this is not neccessary as Im holding my coins for a long time anyways and dips, corrections do not scare me and wont make me sell anything. So its just useless for me to stress myself with it, but it has become kind of a passion to follow the whole market movements.
435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What will happen to the crypto market after five years? on: January 08, 2018, 03:18:11 PM
I think that crypto will be bigger in five years than we can imagine it becoming now. I expect that it will maybe be at around 10 trillion market capitalization. Im not an economist, so I might be totally wrong with this expectation, but looking at the recent growth rate, I do believe that it can become this big. Time will tell!
436  Local / Deutsch (German) / Re: Coinbase für Deutschland & Luxemburg gesperrt? on: January 08, 2018, 03:13:47 PM
437  Economy / Economics / Re: why do people agree to pay taxes? on: January 08, 2018, 03:11:01 PM
Well, I think you put it too simple. If you think that people with arms could just tell the government to fuck off then this implies that you think that everyone with a weapon can do whatever he wants. This surely would end up in a big mess, as in civil wars etc. Governments have to be elected by the people, they do not just empower themselves.
As for taxes, I do believe that this is well needed in a social society as everyone has to pay their share for the good of all. Its just the usage of the taxes that also upsets me sometimes, but the benefits are bigger than the disadvantages overall. So I do support tax paying.
438  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Will XRP resume its uptrend soon? on: January 08, 2018, 03:06:05 PM
Well as Ripple made more than a x10 in such a short time I do believe that this trend wont continue for now. I guess that XRP will now try to find a new bottom and stay there for some time, but in the long run I do believe that XRP will grow much more! I just wait for the end of 2018.
439  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What happen to bitcoin? Going down. a correction? on: January 08, 2018, 03:04:12 PM
I do think that this is just a small correction and that we will see a new uptrend anytime soon. In crypto all is about patience. I will just hold throughout the whole year of 2018, and be very happy at the end of it. Im very confident that this will pay out!
440  Local / Altcoins (Deutsch) / Re: Binance Erfahrungen on: January 08, 2018, 03:01:54 PM
