So far trading was for me not the nicest experience. I started out with zero experience at all and this led to overall losses and many wrong decisions. Im still in profit, this however was more due to the overall growth of the market than due to my good trades. Actually I for now stopped trading and only do trades when I am certain what I want to do, eg realization of profits. But I gathered some experience and am learning and definitely want to give it another shot sooner or later!

Actually I think this is some great improvement by Waves, makes the whole network a lot more trustworthy! Im excited for whats to come from Waves, its a great platform in my opinion.

I recently downloaded the BitBay client and am nothing but impressed. This seems far better than anything I have seen so far in crypto, definitely ahead of its time. Kudos to the dev, this is awesome work. I understand now why many people are really impressed and hyped about BitBay. If all those features will be launched and working this will be huge!

Im not really tech savvy so I was wondering if if I only download the client it will also sync the blockchain? It seems like it does, but on the BitBay website there is also another download called "download Blockchain", can someone guide me here?

Another question is: are there already trades happening on the client? It somehow didnt show anything for me (I didnt wait until all blocks were synced though, do I have to do this in order to see the market?).

Nice south park meme, thats what I always try to tell people when they hear something on the mainstream media about crypto or bitcoin and want to tell me that what they learned there is the truth. Im always like: dude, thats mainstream media, just do the opposit of what they say and you will do alright!

Same here, when it hit $10,000 I was euphoric, this was fast too, and at that time I also wished that the rise to $10,000 would have been slower and more organic, but its nothing compared to the soar up to $15,000 and even higher. Its really out of control and nobody can know where this is going. It can crash really hard and then many people that didnt sell or that invested late because of the hype will be very disappointed. Time will tell.

I guess the problem with exchanges is that they are not trustworthy. People only use them because they have to use them, almost nobody trusts them really. And its likely that they are doing shady business and market manipulation to take profits themself. Thinking that this doesnt happen is just naive is my opinion. Why? Because they have the power to do so and nobody stops them. If there will be decentralized exchanges that work well and without control of people, this will be a think people can trust in the future, Im really looking forward to decentralized exchanges to take over!

I just found this project, if I understand it correctly then Neutron is a wallet to hold BTC and while holding it will automatically increase BTC holdings through PoS, but how does this work in reality? Is it that NTRN is PoS and the returns of staking NTRN are automatically converted to BTC somehow? Bitcoin is not proof of stake afaik and therefore I dont really understand it how this works. Hopefully someone can explain it to me.

Second this. Better marketing could really be useful for SIA. I think there should be more marketing because SIA already got a working product. Not like many other projects that just talk about their future prospects but actually have nothing at all to show. These kind of projects often do alot of marketing efforts and therefore price of their coins/tokens gets pumped. I guess it would really do good for SIA to do some more aggresive marketing.

My experience is that when you buy price goes down and when you dont buy price goes up. But in the end it has never been a bad decision to buy. Although there were dips after I bought in the end it was just good to be in. I recently missed the whole profit from the Bitcoin rise as I didnt buy for almost two months with fiat sitting on the exchange. I always thought that there must be a significant correction anytime soon but it just didnt happen, so I stayed out and only watched Bitcoin rising daily. I still didnt buy and am scared that it will go down anytime soon, so I just stick to hoping that I will be able to buy when a big correction is happening.

I think if you want to go long term on IOTA, its not a bad idea to buy now, shouldnt make a big difference. But if you want to go short on IOTA it might not be the best decision to buy it now, because it hat such a sharp rise in the last week/days. Although there has been a correction already and it rebound to around $4, I have a feeling that another correction will come soon and one will be able to buy in cheaper. I will wait before I buy in again.

I dont see this as a pump, I see it rather as a massive run on Bitcoin that happened so fast that the demand way outweighed the supply and therefore price soared up. Surely this affects the altcoin markets in a negative way as it always is, but I am certain that they will also recover sooner or later.

As time has shown it can be very lucrative to just hold Bitcoin. People nowadays look at Bitcoin as a commodity rather than a currency with that they would do daily business. This certainly wasnt the intention of Satoshi when he created Bitcoin, but as life is, sometimes things turn out differently than expected. I hope that one day there will be a ceiling for Bitcoins price and it somehow settles on this level and remains stable so people will rather spend it like a currency than hold it.

But you are definitely right, the competition is big, not only the direct competition, but also just promising projects that suck up the money that should/could go into Cload. Sure mate, we all know this feeling I guess. But there is no good in regretting this. Im happy that Im here now. I also missed the current surge because I put most of my BTC in alts early september after BTC reached its all time high. I brought in new Fiat some time later and wanted to buy in again, but I waited for the correction to under $4,000 again. Eversince Im waiting for that correction, but its just continously rising to new heights. I still have that fiat sitting in the exchange and waiting to be converted. Hope that this long wished for correction will come at some point.

True, and already soared to almost $17,000 in a matter of hours. I woke up, checked the price, saw $15,000, some hours later I checked again and saw $16,700. I couldnt believe my eyes and was in a shock. Thats not healthy in my opinion. Bitcoin price even hit $20,000 on some korean exchanges. Crazy stuff. As it is now back to $15,000, its certain that some big players made a lot of money while small investors are in a loss now. Bitcoin is out of control and this scares me to be honest. I would love to see a slow constant growth.

Catapult release for NEM will certainly "catapult" NEM to another level, surely will pull Dim as well. I think it was a wise Idea for of Dim to launch on the NEM blockchain, this gives first movers advantage, besides of the many good ideas of Dim. I am very excited about the whole Dim ecosystem, I expect great things for 2018!
