381  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] KRAKEN.COM - Exchange with USD EUR GBP JPY CAD BTC LTC XRP NMC XDG STR ETH on: January 09, 2018, 02:24:30 PM

EDIT II:

Now after retrying, the page doesnt show "service temporarily unavailible" anymore, now it says that my verification level isnt enough. Although Im verified on tier 3, and for the amount I want to withdraw I would only need tier 2 anyways. Dont know what to do here.

Same situation here - tier 3 verified account and it says that current funding tier level (3) is insufficient for this functionality. I can't
withdraw anything!

Good to read that Im not the only one in this situation. Did it at first also showed up as "service unavailible" for you? I hope that we will get an answer from the team here!
Actually this is the first time that I wanted to withdraw something from an exchange. Hope that I wont be disappointed in the end.
382  Other / Off-topic / Re: How to motivate a person to work? on: January 09, 2018, 02:19:40 PM
Well, I think the best way is to try to be supportive to the person that is lazy. Trying to show the benefits that you receive from you work. Another thing could be to ask yourself what motivates you to work every day. Then ask him why he has a lack of motivation. Talk and try to resolve the issue.
383  Other / Off-topic / Re: Should I Go To College ??? on: January 09, 2018, 02:16:46 PM
If you have the opportunity to go to university, you should definitely take this chance! As it is a priviledge to be able to receive higher education, I would definitely go for it if I was in your place. Let me tell you, if you dont do it now, you might regret it badly at a later point in your life.
384  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is still Ok to invest in Etherium on: January 09, 2018, 02:13:54 PM
Yes, I think its still okay to invest in Ethereum. I did also just buy another 0.5 of Ethereum. I guess that the journey of Ethereum is far from over yet. If they manage to solve the scaling issues Ethereum will come up on top of its game. Great that the community is still believing in Ethereum, at least the price does reflect this imo.
385  Bitcoin / Project Development / Re: Crypto media you trust on: January 09, 2018, 02:11:46 PM
Actually I dont trust anything on the internet anymore. There is so much misinformation and misleading stuff around that it has become almost impossible to filter the legit stuff from the fake. For now I only stick to reading up on projects and forming my own opinion about it. As almost everything you will read on the internet has an interest of someone behind it, it is not worthy for me anymore. A website I like to browse though is coinspectator, because it gathers a lot of cryptoinformation in one place and one can decide what to read in no time.
386  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: The next x10 coins for 2018 on: January 09, 2018, 02:01:56 PM
I like your choice of coins. Especially Ardor has a lot of potential to go x10 easily in 2018 in my opinion. Another coin that Im really into is Aeternity. This one will also be able to make x10 easily in 2018 with the mainnet being released. Maybe even way more than x10 if the team manages to implement most of the promised things. This blockchain has game changing potential and will be able to compete easily with Ethereum. Looking forward to its realization!
387  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is bitcoin the most popular cryptocurrency? on: January 09, 2018, 01:56:39 PM
Guess Bitcoin is the most popular currency as it has proven itself over the years. The Bitcoin tech works and people have a lot of trust in the network. Add to this the the first movers advantage and you know why Bitcoin is the most popular cryptocurrency for now. But I do believe that Bitcoin will be overcome by some other blockchain sooner or later, its just a matter of when. For now Im all into Bitcoin too, as there is nothing to compete with it out there for now.
388  Economy / Economics / Re: it is possible fiat currency will crashed? on: January 09, 2018, 01:49:31 PM
As Fiat is "controlled" by central banks its not likely that it will face a real crash, as those entities just print new money out of thin air whenever they want. But with the creation of new money whenever a credit is given out, there surely will be a critical mass reached that will cause another crisis to the current financial system as we have experienced in 2009. Im just curious when the next crisis will come our way.
389  Economy / Exchanges / Re: [ANN] KRAKEN.COM - Exchange with USD EUR GBP JPY CAD BTC LTC XRP NMC XDG STR ETH on: January 09, 2018, 01:45:23 PM
HI, Im not able to access Kraken anymore for some reason. Always shows "error 520". Is this due to heavily overloaded servers? Was wondering if someone else is experiencing the same issue. As I still have a lot of fiat there that I want to make use of now, this is kind of worrysome.
By the way, great to see that the kraken team is active here on the forum and helping people with their issues. Keep it up!

EDIT: I now managed to log into my account!

But when trying to withdraw some of my Euros to my bank account it says that the service is temporarily unavailible. Can you tell me whats the reason for that? Its kind of worrysome as I always thought of Kraken as one of the exchanges where this service works.
Im verified and all by the way.

Would be very happy to see a response from the Kraken team!

EDIT II:

Now after retrying, the page doesnt show "service temporarily unavailible" anymore, now it says that my verification level isnt enough. Although Im verified on tier 3, and for the amount I want to withdraw I would only need tier 2 anyways. Dont know what to do here.

390  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is your trading strategy? on: January 09, 2018, 01:39:15 PM
After suffering quite some losses while trying to daytrade without the neccessary knowledge about it I started to use the buy and hold strategy. I set entry and exit points for myself and try to stick with them. Its not always easy as crypto markets are heavily volatile and therefore Im still tempted to sell often before I meet the exit points I set for myself. But its all about controlling emotions and staying patient. For me the buy and hold strategy has payed off way better than trying to trade often for small profits. I still do this, but only with a small fraction of my portfolio.
391  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which knowledge is important for crypto trading? on: January 09, 2018, 01:36:12 PM
I already started crypto trading. But i cannot understand how to get profitable in crypto trading. How to understand which coin is the best for buy. I don't know how to become successful in crypto trading. So guys, please tell me which knowledge is important for crypto trading. Thanks...

In order to decide which coins to buy you should inform yourself about the fundamentals of a coin. There is no knowledge needed about cryptotrading in general. You must evaluate which coins do have potential and which dont. An already working product is a great indicator for this. However if you plan to start daytrading you must also learn about technical analysis in order to be a successful daytrader. Being able to read charts is a must in this case.
392  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Exchange KuCoin and KuCoin shares on: January 09, 2018, 12:31:33 PM
I also just signed up on KuCoin. It seems to be a good exchange with good performance as Im used to from Binance. I will start trading on there now and hopefully will make as good experiences as I made with Binance. From the first look it seems that this exchange can compete with Binance. Its way more convenient to use thanPolo or Bittrex, thats a huge advantage already!
393  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is holding bitcoin Greedy? on: January 09, 2018, 12:01:54 PM
Holding Bitcoin is sort of greedy thats true in my opinion. People expect huge returns and therefore arent willing to spend their Bitcoin, but we need to keep in mind that BTC cant perform this way forever. On top of that it is contrary to the idea of Bitcoin. Bitcoin was invented to serve as a decentralized digital currency and therefor as a means of payment and not as a store of value. I hope that at some point people will start using Bitcoin in the way it was supposed to be used. Only then cryptocurrencies will be ready for daily usage and therefore mainstream adoption. But to be honest I think that this might need some more years to happen.
394  Economy / Economics / Re: Best tip on saving money on: January 09, 2018, 11:58:42 AM
Well you know am really bad at managing my money thus what I do is I transfer everything I earn in the bank account of my friend and he won't even let me have a penny from it even if am dying.. though sometimes if I desperately need he does allow me to have a little amount..!! Its more like having a personal finance manager Wink thus if you aren't able to save up yourself I will advise you to ask help from a friend of yours Smiley its never a bad option also its better if he is super strict Cheesy

Also I have planned daily usage like a dollar a day or something like that thus it helps me control whatever I spend.

Nice advice, I was also about to give this advice. As Im also eating up the money that I have pretty fast and regret it later, Im always transferring part of it to my friends account, who is a banker. This helps controlling myself and also saving up some money that I will need later on. Since Im in crypto it has also become better with my spending, because nowadays I rather put my money into crypto than into useless electronics or something alike.
395  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Coin Will you have your eyes on 2018? on: January 09, 2018, 11:50:39 AM
I have my eyes on several coins in 2018, but the one Im expecting most from is my precious Aeternity. Pricewise it already appreciated nicely in the last weeks, but there is a lot more room to grow in 2018. With the mainnet being released I guess only sky is the limit for this coin. It will bring so many great benefits to the crypto space, if the team manages to implement all thats planned for the Aeternity ecosystem.
396  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: ICO is the best way to invest? on: January 09, 2018, 11:48:22 AM
Well, I dont think that ICO investing is the best way to get a foot in crypto world. As ICO investing is very risky and you never know how the coin will perform when its exposed to the free market, its a gamble to invest in ICO's. I guess the best way is to stick with coins that are already traded on exchanges and that have kind of proven themselves. Of course there also can be huge profits be made with ICO investing, but its more risky than buying top coins. When investing in ICO's, there is a lot of research needed, thats for sure.
397  Other / Off-topic / Re: Everybody is joining.. on: January 09, 2018, 11:45:19 AM
As some of the biggest exchanges putting new registrations on a hold for the time being, I do believe that we are hitting critical mass of new people that want to join crypto every day. I hope that exchanges will find a way to let all those new people in. Otherwise there will be a trust problem, when people realize that the whole ecosystem is still in its infancy and not yet ready for mass adoption. Hope that there will be a decent decentralized exchange soon that will solve this problem.
398  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Top 2 altcoins to invest in NOW. on: January 09, 2018, 11:34:11 AM
For me that would be Aeternity and Ardor. I think both projects will see great appreciation in the first half of 2018. Aeternity will also release its mainnet in Q2 2018, this might accelerate its price uptrend even more. Im invested in both projects and am very confident of those, but always do your own research!

400  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Best countries to live in for BTC holders on: January 09, 2018, 01:39:26 AM
I think there are still many countries where a bitcoiner can live well and dont be ripped off by authorities for his gains, examples I heard about are: Holland, Qatar, Dubai, Cypris. But there are a lot more I guess.

Holland? Do you have any sources for that? I would be very interested to move there.

Well, as I said, I just heard that its good in Holland. But I will try to find out, because Im also thinking of moving there for a while. Its a great country where one really can enjoy life. If its as crypto friendly as my friend told me it would be even better. If I will find out something of value I will share it with you in PM.
