3001  Economy / Services / Re: [PrimeDice] [Highest Paid Signature] Earn up to 2.4 BTC/Month by Posting on: May 13, 2014, 04:22:49 AM
What  kind of constructive posts do we have to post?Cans omeone give me some examples please.

Also can we have other signatures along with Prime Dice?

No, you can't have other signatures besides PD, if you choose to join the deal. OP states so here:

Quote
You may not advertise any other sites/threads. This includes non-paid for advertisements. You may include other non advertising related. This is limited to a quote or your Bitcoin address etc. If you do choose to add this it must be very small font, uncolored with no effects

In relation to your first question, someone else asked something similar a few pages back and this was part of my answer:

Quote
Generally speaking, a constructive post is a post that actually adds to the thread, and is on topic. But it can't be just you agree with someone and leaving it at that, spamming, bumping, trolling, or just writing "+1", "lol", or whatever. Also, you should always try to write constructive posts, because otherwise they might get deleted by mods, and you risk being banned.

Monbux later added the following:

Quote
Another non-constructive post would be you posting something JUST for increasing your post count.  Post only in things that interest you or that you actually understand and enjoy.
3002  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Dream ticket+ 2016 (U.S.) on: May 13, 2014, 04:08:13 AM
Warren for president of the US would be pretty cool. Still, it's wishful thinking to hope they would actually have a significant impact on how things are run; after all, they would be a few good isolated people working within a corrupt system. Also, the concentrations of (financial but not only) power that currently hold most of the influence behind the scenes wouldn't exactly give up because someone they didn't get to bribe yet was in power. Tongue

Ya, Warren in a normal way is a pipe-dream.  However, I don't think that some combination like Ventura/Warren is totally unfeasible.  Remember Ventura won the governorship in conditions where everyone was disgusted.  And he was certainly not a disaster.  He actually earned more in salary than he spent to get the governorship which is pretty amazing in U.S. politics today.

(As an aside, I lived in CA the whole time Schwarzenegger was gov.  His job was to kill the lawsuit against Enron.  That took a few weeks, and once it was done he was fee to do as he pleased and he actually was not that bad a gov relatively speaking.)

2016 is going to have Clinton.  I'll bet that a great many people who are progressives like me are simply not going to vote for her.  Period.  I'll bet there are plenty of Repub candidates who would provoke the same response in conservatives.  If it's Paul v. Clinton I'll vote for Santaclaus and just live with whoever wins (just as I did in 2012.)

If Ventura is on the ballot I'll certainly vote for him over Clinton vs Anyone, and if he has a runningmate who is decent, that's even better.  Warren and Ventura facing off as independents in the primary and teaming up in the race strikes me as something which could have a chance.

Sure, but I wasn't even talking about their chances of being elected.

My question is: realistically, what kind of impact would you expect them to have on the system if they were in government? As I see it, they would be great people to have in those positions, and we would probably see some real progress start to take place; but they would still only be a few good people in a largely corrupt system, they would only be able to do so much by themselves and there is only so much power they would have vested in them. Further, as soon as their measures started threatening those with real power, you would see an onslaught of propaganda and sabotage aimed at their every move.

I think I only ever saw this stuff once in my entire life, some decades ago, and that was enough. How can there still be people that waste time with stuff like this? Tongue

I am looking for a doodle or actually some artwork for my Movie Idea.

Wouldn't it be better to just PM him, as he requested?

Anyway, that's some great artwork right there tipubhai. Do you have a DeviantArt profile for example where we can see more?
3005  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your dream job? on: May 13, 2014, 01:19:00 AM
I have to agree with DoggyStayle; being a porn actor could be a fun job, regardless of any other considerations. Grin

3007  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Nintendo's rejection of gay relationships gives fans a lot to be angry about on: May 13, 2014, 12:26:46 AM
It's hard because they're a business selling a product; if they tell even 1% of the NA/EU crowd to "fuck off", they risk losing millions of potential customers.

Then this will be a no win situation for Nintendo. They have promised that they will include homosexuality in the next version of the game. They will lose a lot of customers in Japan, Russia, India.etc. Much more than 1%.

I think you should include the Euro countries that are heavy into religion as well, there is alot of people that would be angry and will not support it.

I doubt there would be much of a concern in Europe over that; there is a difference between a country being "heavy into religion" and actually fanatical enough to want to force others to do things their way. Further, those European countries often have very old populations, that for the most part won't even know, or care, what game we're talking about. And the younger part of the population that would know/care is typically much less religious.
3008  Other / Off-topic / Re: Answer the question above with a question. on: May 12, 2014, 11:37:57 PM
what about the Ernest ones?

Who in their right minds would want to learn about Ernest?
3009  Other / Off-topic / Re: What is your Wish? on: May 12, 2014, 11:13:00 PM
If you found a Genie ask you for 1 wish, what would you wish and why select that wish? Smiley

To be rich
If I'm rich, I can do what I want do

There are plenty of things you can't do with just money though.

I wish I have 1 million wish. Why? I want to wish for more.  Grin
You can't wish for wishes. That isn't logical. Unless you want to be a Genie yourself.

Are you sure?

3010  Economy / Services / Re: ★★★ HIGHEST SIGNATURE PAYMENT ON THE BOARD - NEW RATES - RitzGrandCasino.com ★★★ on: May 12, 2014, 10:36:41 PM
he will not as long as those 2 member who in his trust list be added to his trust circle

So, whose action point is it now ? Ritz ? I mean Ritz has to add Equate to his Trust circle ?

yeah i guess so and also the other one i think it will help him to get green

I'm not sure what you're proposing would have the desired effect, but one thing that would certainly have is if zackclark70 were convinced to remove his negative trust or if CanaryInTheMine removes zackclark70 from his trust list. CanaryInTheMine seems to have added a large number of members to his trust list, so he might be persuaded to be a little more selective. Tongue

3012  Other / Off-topic / Re: I just got a laser! on: May 12, 2014, 01:55:53 AM
I was thinking one time of an invention that you can make a real power lightsaber with laser by stoping the laser using a with a crystal mirror and encase it in a glass tube, thought illiumiation might hurt hurt the eyes but I wanna do an experiment like this  one day.

That seems terribly unsafe. But it reminded me of a show Dr. Michio Kaku used to do for Sci-Fi; in this particular episode, how to build a real lightsaber: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xSNubaa7n9o (this is the first part of the relevant episode).

Cheers

Op had said at the end of the other thread that all members that had signed up were still good to go:

Quote
[...] All current campaign members are signed and will get their first payout on May 15. Yes, we decided to pay on a weekly basis during the first month of the campaign.

Though it would be nice if a list of participants could be kept, much like the Gaw Miners campaign does.

Are you talking about Zombie Jesus?
3016  Economy / Services / Re: WE PAY FOR SIGNATURE MORE. UP TO 0.0014 BTCs PER POST. on: May 12, 2014, 12:46:35 AM
Small update on rules: Min 50 posts apply in the month of MAY for JUNE 1st pay day. During first week 10 posts apply until the 15 May first pay day.

This applies for the first week, but is there a similar minimum for the following weeks?
3017  Economy / Services / Re: ★★★ HIGHEST SIGNATURE PAYMENT ON THE BOARD - NEW RATES - RitzGrandCasino.com ★★★ on: May 12, 2014, 12:09:17 AM
Will constructive posts in others languages(not english posted in their respective subforums) be paid too?

Yes, those posts are also paid.

PS: Ritz payments are between 25% greater(for members -  0.0005 vs 0.0004 btc) and 9% greater(for heroes  members), for me it is not just "slightly more"

That's true, but now UpDown is paying even more than Ritz or PD.

EDIT:

where do you guys see the banned users?
from what i understand, only someone that has been banned knows it,
its not shown anywhere/

so, how do you guys know that "around 30" users were banned?

I believe it was hilariousandco that drew that conclusion from this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=390303.msg6508863#msg6508863.
3018  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Marketglory - Paying you to play! up too 0.03 BTC on: May 11, 2014, 09:36:19 PM
He posted his referral link, so he really is the player named "needmoney" in the game. Also he is seemingly not doing badly, but he has registered over 17 months ago. I have seen no evidence of € withdrawals however.

I know that he has invested at least a couple hundred euro... ROI: 0% after over a year. Smiley

How do you figure? The amount of knowledge he has accumulated? In relation to returns, he has 34 shares, each valued at €1.46 last I saw, so he could withdraw €49.64 from the game (receiving €39.71), though yes, he probably spent a lot more than that.
3019  Other / Meta / Re: Removing legacy scammer tags on: May 11, 2014, 02:37:19 AM
Finally, i don't have to see that scary dank anymore Roll Eyes the guy is a pirate ? scammer?

These accounts are not being deleted, just their scammer tags (the SCAMMER and XXXXX bellow the username). As for Dank, I'm not sure but I think he failed his part in a trade (50 some btc?). On the other hand, occasionally he comes up with stuff like this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=383960.0.

3020  Other / Politics & Society / Re: This is why you shouldn't vote Hilary on: May 11, 2014, 01:43:59 AM
[...] She ignores (or maybe embraces?) the basic historical fact that a disarmed citizenry become slaves to tyrannical governments. Hillary Clinton is a tyrant, and if she becomes President she will show just how tyrannical she really is. [...]

I've posted this a couple of times before, but I think I should do it again: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cxHvHi-MdIM.

Here's a small quote from the episode:

Quote
Robert Foster: General?

General Baxter: Look, if the slaves want guns, leave them be; our supremacy doesn't depend on weaponry. With schools, media, money and meds we control every aspect of your lives through ideological hegemony. But if you think you need guns to stop tyranny, then what are you waiting for? We've already stripped you of your liberty, privacy, civil rights and dignity - you want some more?
