All i need Are one good person who actually knows btc prices so all i need is just to know btc price.
When i buy low sell high and same time i load up alt coins so i make huge money.
Lol, if it was that easy, everyone would be rich, and the people you expect to teach you would be so rich that they would never waste their time teaching you about this. Nobody actually knows how the BTC price is going to move, especially when it is in the short term, people can only speculate but they cannot exactly tell you what Bitcoin's price movement is going to be. Having said that, you can learn about trading yourself, but the chances of you becoming rich through it is slim, there are a lot of risks in it, and losses as well.
322  Economy / Economics / Re: Is increase in minimum wage a good method to fight inflation? on: February 14, 2024, 02:27:11 PM
An increase in minimum wage would not stop inflation in a particular country, but it would somewhat help workers to survive in a dire economic situation as they now have more money to spend. Increasing minimum wage during a serious economic crisis is similar to handing our palliatives to people, it would not help to stop inflation, but it brings temporary relief to the people.

Fighting inflation is not as easy as just increasing the nations minimum wage, there must be a change in economic policies and the country must work on production, rather than just consumption, local production and export of locally produced goods is one way to better an economy and fight inflation, and thus increase the purchasing power of the people.

Bayern Munich are not having a good season this season and that's why Thomas Tuchel's seat is in jeopardy. According to media reports, Jose Mourinho could coach Bayern Munich next season.
Bayern Leverkusen are having such a fantastic season and if they had not been this brilliant, Bayern Munich would have been on top of the Bundesliga and too many people would not have noticed their poor form this season, thus i think before you talk about Bayern being bad this season, you have to give credit to Bayern Leverkusen and how well they have performed this season.

Having said that, Tuchel has underperformed since taking over from Julian Nagelsmann, i know he won the league last season, but that is because Dortmund were unlucky not to win on the final day of the season, if Bayern fail to win any major trophy this season, then the hierarchy at Bayern Munich might seriously consider changing manager.
324  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: February 13, 2024, 10:10:48 PM
A very professional performance from City and a well deserved victory, City controlled the game from start to finish and they were basically unlucky not to have won by more and kept a clean sheet, but they would take the 3-1 win back to the Etihad and they already have one foot in the QF of the CL.

Having said that, make no mistake that Copenhagen is a very good team, and it was not an easy win, the thing is just that City have so much quality and it is almost impossible to stop them when they are in this sort of winning mood, the rest of the teams in the CL and EPL must be worried about the menacing form of City, they are out to defend their titles.
325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 13, 2024, 06:48:57 PM
Do you think 1.52 is a fair/favorable/unfavorable assessment of City's odds?
I think so, there is a very high chance of City winning the title, i know that no team has ever won four EPL titles in a row, but City might be the first team to do that. Pep's team were pretty sloppy at the start of the season, but now they have stepped it up a gear and have started another one of their impressive winning runs. Liverpool look like the only team that can stop City from winning the league, i know it is a three horse race with Arsenal part of it, but i don't think they can do it this season, if City fail to win it, Jurgen Klopp's men would be the one to win it, but that is just my prediction.

Secondly, we tend to demonize exchanges (me the first), but as per fees, I strongly believe that if you have a part of your holding you don't hodl and want to liquidate it as soon as the price hits your goal, it may be better to keep that part in the exchange to avoid what Mia Chloe said: you'll save in fees and help others save too.
The thing is, you do not know how long it would take to achieve the said goal, and you might end up hodling your funds in an exchange for too long, and who knows what can happen within that time. Moving your finds from your non-custodial wallet would cost you fees, but leaving your funds in an exchange for a long time, only because you want to save in fees is very risky and it might not be a wise choice. Imo, it is better for your funds to be safe in your custody and cost you tx fees for moving it to an exchange when you want to liquidate, rather than leaving it in an exchange and risk losing it.
327  Economy / Reputation / Re: Where do we draw a line? Signature campaigns or shilling campaigns on: February 13, 2024, 12:53:45 PM
I understand with Icopress, even if it is not a rule, it should be ethical to recommend what you promote when the need arises. But then, there are some exceptions such as; a situation where the signature participant doesn't actually know that wazabbi is an open source wallet. It is very possible and if that is the case, I wouldn't blame the signature campaign participate.
You do not even have to be in the Wasabi campaign to know that it is open source, if you are in this Bitcoin forum, you ought to be aware of that information and more so when you are then a member of the said campaign. As a campaign participant, the bare minimum should be understanding the basics of what you are promoting.

Arsenal's win keeps them close to the other two top teams as it ensures they don't want to miss out on the top points maybe waiting for who loses between the Liverpool vs Manchester City match because if one loses they might Arsenal could be in second place.
It is obviously a three horse race for the Premier League title, one of City, Liverpool and Arsenal is going to win the title and if some people thought that Arsenal were out of the race a few weeks ago, they have to think again. Only two points separate the three of them and their league positions can change anytime, mind you that City also have that game in hand, i think we are in for a very interesting title race that will have many twists in its tale.
329  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: ⚽ Football Transfers Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: February 11, 2024, 04:50:22 PM
It's clear that the gap between Barcelona and Real Madrid looks getting wider, but last year Barcelona won the league, just because they lost it this year doesn't mean they suck. I think they will do fine eventually and that means we are going to get better and better eventually, that is the most important part of their development, it will take some time but they will be better.
Barcelona are going through a rough patch right now, both on and off the pitch, they have had huge financial constraints for the past few years and it will definitely last longer than that that. The manager, Xavi, announced a few weeks ago that he would be leaving the team at the end of the season, so that puts Barcelona in a position were they have to replace him, and this adds to the problems the club already have.

Having said that, in a club like Barcelona that is amongst the elite clubs in world football, the pressure is always going to be there for them to get back to their previous levels, and the fans want it to happen ASAP.

With a few notable members leaving the forum or becoming inactive. There is definitely a void that needs to be filled up.
Its been quite a long time since Theymos added new MS's, but within that time source merits have decreased quite a lot, some MS's became somewhat inactive, and some others completely left the forum. I think right now Theymos would really be considering adding new MS's, it has been a long time coming, but this period seems like the perfect time; there is no dearth of MS applications, there are so many reputable members waiting in the pipeline, and this makes Theymos' job pretty easy, he just has to pick a few out of those waiting.

If the wallets are yours and you have the seed phrase, use it to import the wallet, passwords only encrypt the wallet on your own device, but once you use the seed phrase to import a wallet, it is no longer protected by any password, and at that point you can create a new password. Apparently this wallet is not yours, and you have been scammed through buying wallet.dat files, nobody can help you decrypt the wallet and nobody should waste their time on this case because it is your greed that cost you your money.
332  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: AI-generated fake IDs claimed to pass crypto exchange KYC are selling for $15 on: February 10, 2024, 09:39:18 PM
What are the chances that this AI tool has been created or sponsored by powerful entities to further their ambitions in creating a global secure digital identity?
Let me ignore the conspiracy theory, but how is this tool creating a global secure digital identity when it is generating fake identities in order for people to bypass KYC requirements anywhere it is required. I know that if you use this fake identities, you get to keep your own real identity, but it is fraudulent and favors scammers and criminals, rather than committing this fraud because you think you want to protect your privacy, just use decentralized exchanges.
333  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 09, 2024, 09:47:01 PM
Man City's next opponent is Everton. Seeing how different the strengths of these two teams are, Everton has little chance of winning, especially since the match will take place at Man City's home ground, there is really little chance of Man City being able to beat
City have a chance to leapfrog Liverpool and top the table tomorrow (at least until Liverpool play their own game), that is if they beat Everton, which i think they will, Everton is definitely a tough opponent and this game would have been tougher if it was at the Goodison park, but at the Etihad, City are unstoppable, more often than not.

Having said that, victory for City tomorrow would put Liverpool under pressure when they face Burnley later in the day, the EPL is now at its most interesting and crucial stage, and any drop of points now could prove costly, and the team that can go on the "longest winning run" would prolly win the title.

Sources say that Salah is happy at Liverpool. but a final decision will be made in the coming days, considering how things unfold.
I also agree that Salah is very happy at Liverpool, he has been there for a long time and has won trophies with the team, i don't see a reason why Salah would be unhappy at Liverpool. Having said that, if he leaves at the end of this season, it would not be because he is unhappy with the club, but because he feels his time in Liverpool and in England is over, if Salah leaves, there is one destination that looks very likely, and that is the Saudi league, they have been after Salah since last summer and they might get him this summer, we'd see how it pans out.
335  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 09, 2024, 10:56:17 AM
I've witnessed De Bruyne's absence dampen City's flair. The pitch is his chessboard because he amplifies everyone's performance. De Bruyne's vision greatly benefits Haaland. Goals boost team morale and performance, not simply score marks. Their comeback is predicted; City must dominate again.
There is no doubt that City greatly missed Kevin De Bruyne when he was absent, and prolly Erling missed him the most individually, because Kevin creates a lot of big chances and that gives the Norwegian many more opportunities to score goals. Nonetheless we cannot take anything away from Julian Alvarez who replaced the belgian when he was absent and played in that role excellently, the Argentine has been an absolute bargain for the Ctizens and that is another proof that City's recruitment process is the best in the world.

Pep has got himself a "good" headache, because Julian Alvarez is now indispensable in this City team and now that KDB is back, he would be forced to play them both together and maybe change his tactics/formation a little bit.
336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: UEFA Champions League 2023/24 Season on: February 08, 2024, 06:28:38 AM
I think Real Madrid will beat them, comfortably, on both legs and it will not cause any trouble at all. I am only predicting this, I could be wrong, bigger shocks happened before and I think it's still possible, I just think that the best thing regarding Real Madrid is that they take UCL very seriously.
Real Madrid is definitely going to progress to the QF, i cannot remember the last time they were eliminated in the RO16 of the CL, that's why they are the kings of this tournament, and with the addition of Jude Bellingham to their team, they are a stronger force than they were last season and they might make it to the final this time.

Having said that, i am not sure of a home and away victory, Leipzig might mamage to hodl on to a draw in their own home, but Real Madrid would definitely be the team to progress at the end of this tie.
337  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Reason for acquiring bitcoins. on: February 08, 2024, 06:08:21 AM
The main reason for buying or acquiring Bitcoin is to get rich. People usually invest in these assets to get rich quickly. Over the years, Bitcoin prices continue to amaze many people and I am imagining about the people who bought Bitcoin 5 or 10 years ago. I am sure they became millionaires. If, in this short span, a person becomes a millionaire, then why not try your luck in it?   Another advantage of having Bitcoin is that you will have your money in your custody.
You are right in your last point, when you hodl Bitcoin you have your money in your own custody and under your control, but i somewhat disagree with your first point of Bitcoin making many people millionaires.

It isn't as easy as just buying Bitcoins and the next thing you know is you are rich, quite a lot of people tend to think this way and end up being disappointed, before you can make so much money through buying Bitcoins, you either bought or mined a lot of it a long time ago and you have been hodling since then, for those who buy only when they see an appreciation in its price, there is no way they can become "rich" doing that, even though they can prolly make ROI.
338  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Africa Football Discussion || Current Topic: AFCON 2023 on: February 08, 2024, 05:56:44 AM
Many congratulations to both Nigeria and Ivory coast as they are going to face each other in the final, that would be the second time they are meeting in this tournament, remember Nigeria beat Ivory coast in the group stage, but i am pretty sure this one (the final) is going to be tougher. I am Nigerian, so i hope we defeat the hosts on Sunday, we have the quality and determination to do it and i believe in our boys to bring the trophy back gome.

Having said that, this has to be the best AFCON i have ever witnesses, since i started watching the tournament, the professionalism of the players and the teams is at its highest level, every game is tough, interesting and unpredictable; this has indeed been a great showing for Africa and African football and Sunday would be the culmination of it all.
339  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: February 08, 2024, 12:03:49 AM
We can say that Chelsea became a cup team this year, they got good results in the cup matches and that is the aim. While Aston Villa had a fantastic week behind them, they were dealt a crushing defeat by Chelsea in the cup match.
I agree, and i think they are concentrating more on the cup games, now that they know the only thing they are challenging for in the EPL is to finish in the top half of the table, they cannot even qualify for Europe next season. Thus it would be good for Pochettino if he can win one of the domestic cups. Chelsea are already in the final of the Carabao cup and they are now into the fifth round in the FA Cup, there is still a long way to go in the FA Cup and as for the Carabao cup, they face off against a very tough opponent in Liverpool in the final, we'd see how things pan out for them.
340  Local / Nigeria (Naija) / Re: Crypto P2P market the cause of BDC operation closedown in FCT on: February 07, 2024, 11:10:10 PM
Crypto will defend itself in Naija and they youths are behind it. Crypto can't go down in Nigeria just because of few individuals chasing clout.
As you can see, the news na fake news and e dey shock me as some reputable news sites been carry this news for their pages without verifying its authenticity. BTW, governments no dey after crypto because them wan ban am, dem dey after crypto because them wan monitor and regulate am, and dem also wan dey gain from am through taxes, but mind you say any government can declare crypto illegal in their jurisdiction, and that will be the end of crypto for that location, and for example if e happen for Naija (which i don't think it will), you and "the youths" no go fit do anything about am.
