321  Economy / Gambling / Re: casino rating on: September 25, 2023, 02:22:50 PM
Ratings can be biased because they are based on individual experiences, and we never know the credibility of the rater. The poster above is right; just check their ANN thread. If you don't see any bad feedback and the thread is active with forum members of higher ranks sharing their feedback and participating in discussions, that's an indication that they are a reputable gambling site.
322  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are You Tax Efficient With Your Gambling Habbits? on: September 25, 2023, 01:53:26 PM
The loss was our loss, and we did not pay the taxes. And even if we win, we might just pay winnings tax to the casino. But using a credit card to gamble is not recommended because it is as if we are using borrowed money and have to pay it back on time. Otherwise, we will experience problems, and we may have to give something to the credit card company to pay off the money.

But to pay taxes on our gambling, it seems it depends on where we live because some countries will not ask for tax money on gambling, but countries will ask us to pay for other things. And it will depend on the policies of each country.
That sounds better than if we will pay some taxes in each bets that we placed no matter if they are a win or a loss. But if we win, we are going to pay a little bigger for the tax again. When it comes to payment methods to play gambling, indeed that using a credit card as a way to place bets are not good idea because apart from your stated reason, it can also tempt us to borrow more money and become move divested once we also lose them.

Maybe it's true that tax obligations in gambling can depend on the country that we are living because I'm not asked yet about it. But it can also depend on the game because lottery winners here are being charged by a tax and the amount is huge.

It's better if we do not have to pay taxes at all; it would be fair for gamblers that way since casinos are the ones making money. The government can seem too greedy when they tax everything. You see, if a casino wins, they will need to file income tax, and if we win, we are going to file income tax, so the government makes money both ways.
323  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you expect better, but then impulsively jump into things due to FOMO? on: September 22, 2023, 07:57:17 PM
Everyone has certainly experienced this. We all became a victim of FOMO especially in our newbies days and it think it’s somewhat hard to avoid especially if we want to grab every opportunity around just to be profitable. And it all turns out that FOMO will only lead us into unexpected losses and missing opportunities that we’re supposed to have. And once we learned our lesson, at least we know already not to fall from FOMO again.
324  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Secure Your Legacy, Educate Your Loved Ones on: September 22, 2023, 08:34:14 AM
This is one of the biggest concern of bitcoiners - how to transfer ownership of their coins to their next of kin in event of death. I have read so many threads about the issue and what I have come to understand is that using a timelock system is the best option. Of course this is useless if your beneficiary knows nothing about how bitcoin works. This is why it is important to involve your partner or children in your bitcoin activity, I understand this is kind of difficult to do since bitcoiners have a need to protect their privacy. But at some point, you will need to relinquish control to someone else.
This is why sharing your knowledge is a must. If you can educate your spouse or your children about bitcoin and how it works as an investment, then you will never fear and worry when death suddenly attack you. Of course, there’s still privacy but that is only for those who are not part of your bitcoin journey. But with your family, you should be transparent to them so that if ever unpredictable events suddenly happen, rest assured that they will continue the legacy that you have started. But make sure that they are also passionate about bitcoin, otherwise what you have built will also end when you’re no longer here.
325  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Zhang Vs Joyce II WBO Interim World Heavyweight Championship on: September 22, 2023, 07:49:58 AM
Just to be fair with Zhang though, he did his jab in the first fight, and that's why Joyce has blood in his face because Zhang has a stiff jab and Joyce didn't try to avoid it.
He thought that he can just steamroll and take his shots but he was all wrong because it has power behind and maybe we can say that he underestimated the Chinese.
So it's very unpredictable in the first fight, but Joyce is trying to bounce back and put his name again for at least a title shot.
And with that, he should have learn his lessons from the first fight and make the necessary adjustments.

Now that Joyce has seen what beat him, I think Zhang will also make adjustments, possibly in-game adjustments, as he doesn't want to lose this fight. He's still underestimated up to this point, so if he beats Joyce in the second fight, people will recognize him as a true champion. I'm excited to see what Joyce can do in the rematch, but I'm pretty sure Zhang has also prepared for this.
326  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: September 22, 2023, 07:24:35 AM
Everything really points out that he will be the favorite here and most likely accomplished a second unification champion.

I think the right term to use here is "undisputed champion".

This is an article that explains about the specific fight.Inoue Vs. Tapales For Undisputed Being Targeted For December

Inoue has become an undisputed champion in the bantamweight division, and now he is in the super bantamweight division, aiming to achieve the same.

That's right, because whoever wins this fight will probably hold all four belts and become the undisputed champion.

Here is the list of belts and the champions who hold them:

WBC: Inoue
WBO: Inoue
WBA: Tapales
IBF: Tapales

Now, we will only have one champion after this fight, and the next step for the champion is to face challengers before moving up.

Yes, he can choose to stay and defends the belt, but if you look at others who have unified it, going to be very hard. So the best recourse for them is to really vacant some of the belt as obviously as I have said, very difficult to defend it.

One, each body has it's mandatory challenges, so just imagine the unified champion trying to fight all the mandatories in a year, so that is not possible. Second, boxing politics, boxers will choose which body is the best for them, and choose that fight, lets say it's WBC so he will have to maintain his WBC status. So the other bodies will force their way as well. So the champion will have to vacant at least 2 of the belts and maintain the belt that he likes or at least there is some sort of prestige having that belt.

There's no problem with vacating the belts for Inoue. The ultimate goal is to win them all to add to his achievements and then fight some challengers before moving up. I'm sure Inoue still has the power and speed to dominate, so moving up at the right time could be one of his priorities once he holds all the belts. Of course, he needs to beat Tapales, who is obviously not as hyped as people are underestimating him.
327  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are memecoins tarnishing the image of crypto? on: September 21, 2023, 04:07:25 PM

What meme coins is doing, is being a good competition to the originals. Else, how would innovation arise.
It also serves to enable upcoming or newbie traders learn how to trade seeing the ease of buying some of these meme coins.
Meme coins,  although it is not advisable to invest huge funds in them, they more than help create awareness for crypto.

They are serving some purpose in the crypto market. They create fast wealth for the wise with the pump and dump nature of not hodling for long. Then this important one of creating hype can not be over emphasize, they create buzz for cryptocurrency. Memecoins like doge gave a big hype for cryptocurrency last year and gave lucky investors unexpected profit from the hype by Elon musk. Shiba Inu is another of such that some investors have spoken about to be able creating some vibes in the future. Memecoins make the market to be lively with quick buy, quick sell which the market also need to create traffic also.
Meme coins have amazed a lot of investors due to its surprising potentials. People may be thinking that once a meme coin, then it’s something to be avoided so as not to end up losing. But it has proved its own worth and made those investors experienced massive profits. So if we analyze it well, meme coins do not tarnish the image of crypto. It’s even a good promotion for crypto market to become more recognized due to the hype about dogecoin.
328  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 21, 2023, 06:30:30 AM
The thing is, Inoue has been defeating Filipino boxers while Casimero has been defeating Japanese boxers. So let's be optimistic that eventually, they will face each other.

That's a good comparison. Both are slayers, so they should meet soon to determine who is the best. Well, on paper, obviously the best is Inoue, as he is at the top of the pound-for-pound list, while Casimero wasn't even a champion and does not have a good rank in the division he is competing in now.

However, I think we should be realistic. We should know when it could potentially happen. It's not happening this year for sure, and if this fight does not happen next year, then I guess it will never happen.
329  Economy / Gambling / Re: BitcoinCasinos.com - The Best Comparison of Crypto Casinos on: September 21, 2023, 05:50:11 AM
A comparison project? That's good. Hopefully, I will be able to see a comprehensive comparison.

I don't know, but I've noticed that the site is advertising casinos. How can it ensure that the comparison is free from bias?
330  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: If you had AI day trade bitcoin to make profits on: September 20, 2023, 08:57:49 PM
If I had AI that will make day trading highly profitable at a consistent basis, then I will never do manual trading anymore and stick to AI no matter what. However, that will only remain as a dream as no AI that can be highly reliable when it comes to trading. AI is computer generated so it won’t be able to succeed on such a highly volatile market. At the end of the day, only self trading would still come out as the best option to avoid consistent losses.
331  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: September 20, 2023, 02:13:24 PM
About Lillard again.

https://www.cbssports.com/nba/news/damian-lillard-would-rather-lose-every-year-than-play-for-hometown-warriors/

Quote
Damian Lillard has spent the 2023 offseason fighting to get to a specific team: the Miami Heat. Rumors have gone so far as to suggest that Lillard would not report to any team besides the Heat or his current Portland Trail Blazers. But Lillard had not directly addressed the possibility of playing for other teams... until Tuesday. On an appearance on It Is What It Is with Cam'ron and Ma$e, he spoke about another long-rumored suitor for his services: his hometown Golden State Warriors.

Unfortunately for the Warriors, Lillard is not interested. "I respect what they've been doing over the last eight, nine years or whatever, and I'm from there, obviously. That's home. But I can't go be a part of that," Lillard said at roughly the 53-minute mark. "They won four championships. What I look like going to try to do that?"

He doesn't really want to play with other teams; it looks like his team has no choice but to trade him to a team that he'd like to play with. Not even the Warriors, when the team is a championship contender, probably don't want to play alongside Curry as they have similar positions on the court, and both are superstars. Will Lillard win this battle?
332  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Casimero vs Oguni - October 12 on: September 20, 2023, 01:03:55 PM
Casimero training update:

Casimero's promoter have sent to Ormoc City where the latter lives two high level sparring partner as the training has intensified since the fight will be in less than a month from now. Gauging on the video, Casimero is almost there, he hits very hard and that hook if touches Oguni;s chin, i think he would fall to the canvas.

 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6eEtMFMt210&ab_channel=QuadroAlasit%E2%80%99smyboy

Thanks for sharing his training video. There's no doubt about Casimero's power, and I'm sure he keeps improving every day. His timing is really good; he doesn't throw a lot of punches, but his counterpunches are very dangerous. It's great to see him training hard for this fight. Despite Oguni not being as popular as him, he still didn't underestimate him. I think he really wants to prove the doubters wrong and win this by KO.
333  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: All newbies should be aware. on: September 20, 2023, 12:48:15 PM
Mail + airdrop + wallet details= scam

Most of these airdrops are scams so newbies should avoid these airdrops. Scammers especially promote fake airdrops on social media. Gmail is a street where a lot of fake scam airdrop mail can be found.
Airdrops have become the playground for scammers so as much as possible, we should be aware of it and avoid participating in any suspicious airdrop as that will only steal our funds without us knowing. And while our Gmail has become an avenue for fake airdrops that keep coming, then we should learn to educate ourselves not to fall on their traps. Otherwise, these fake airdrops will continue to scam innocent and greedy people.
334  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Never Marry a Coin/Project - Practically Example on: September 19, 2023, 09:59:56 PM
Marrying a coin is like compromising your investment in the future. No one holds guarantees what will happen in the future so if these coins you are hodling suddenly drop and lose their value, you will lose the chances to make future profits. This is the reason why we have to sell if we see the market is giving us opportunities to make profits. And hold when the market is giving us a signal that there is more profits coming ahead.
335  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Knowledge vs hodlings on: September 19, 2023, 09:27:13 PM
Knowledge is a must. Either you plan to invest or share your experience, at least you have gained some initial knowledge on it. However, the problem with most newbies these days investing in bitcoin is they don’t have the prior knowledge about bitcoin and how it will work as an investment. They only see it as a get rich quick, thus thinking that bitcoin can be easily handle and make profits, but it turn out that it’s very much hard and complicated because of its high volatility. Anyone that decide to hold bitcoin and does not understand it’s market volatility will certainly struggle on how to make it work.
336  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: September 19, 2023, 02:21:31 PM
Okay, so there's been a media conference a while ago made by the Gilas management and they've made sure that Terrence Romeo and Calvin Abueva were certainly out as their petition to add them to the roster wasn't granted. Also, the list of the 60 players in the Gilas pool was also released. (https://news.abs-cbn.com/sports/09/19/23/look-sbp-unveils-initial-pool-of-players-for-asiad)

I didn't read the full story, so are you saying that Calvin and Romeo are not part of the final roster? This is quite disappointing. There was so much excitement about their return to Gilas Pilipinas, and now it seems there are significant problems that have arisen. I must admit, I've lost interest in watching their games. It's challenging to find players who can bring the same level of energy to the floor as Abueva and Romeo.

That's true; you can find YouTube videos from our very own vloggers, and the topic of discussion often revolves around these two players. It's not just about these two, but since they are the popular players, the spotlight is on them. I share your disappointment upon hearing the news. I was looking forward to seeing Romeo's last dance with Gilas, but this unfortunate development dashed our expectations.

By the way, here are the players who are out: Calvin Abueva, Terrence Romeo, Moala Tautuaa, and Jason Perkins.

337  Economy / Gambling / Re: Casinos not asking for KYC to register and play, but do require it to withdraw on: September 19, 2023, 01:32:15 PM
Just a warning in case it prevents someone from falling into this shitty scheme.

I was checking a crypto-casino with very easy entry just asking email and country, and allowed deposits in the main cryptos. I didn't need to deposit anything to realize that to withdraw funds they did require a complete KYC with ID, etc. I also tested registering from a banned country and even indicating it on the form, and it does not prevent you from making a deposit.

I guess I stated the obvious, but I don't see the point for gamblers in using this.

Was that a casino that had an ANN thread in the forum? I've gambled at different reputable casinos in the forum, and I haven't encountered a problem like yours. It might vary from country to country, but it's clear that it's a scam if they promise not to require KYC and later do. In any case, it's important not to be misled and to read the TOS carefully instead of blindly signing up. The full story is usually there, so it's essential to read and understand it. Additionally, knowing that centralized casinos are regulated can provide a better understanding of why they require KYC.

339  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Get a signal Source on Bitcoin. on: September 15, 2023, 07:33:49 PM
If you are capable to trade and turn it into profits, then you don't have to follow the trading signals of other traders. You know your own intelligence and capability as a trader, if you think you are still not making an edge on trading, then study trading and improve your knowledge and skills on it through your own experience. That way, you can correct your own mistakes and improve what's need to be improve.
340  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Inoue vs Tapales for Unified Super Bantamweight Title - November on: September 15, 2023, 03:10:29 PM
Low chance Casimero would get that long-awaited fight against Naoya Inoue. Rankings will be the problem. But we have seen some boxers try to make the champions camp angry and get that fight that they want, it will still depend on the champion if he wants to prove something. But, the organization cannot help him because he ain't even near him.

2 ways. Make them mad and be forced to approve it. Or, get the help of the boxing fans including the popular boxing analysts to boost this fight to happen, but that will depend on Inoue's camp if they are getting itchy to have a match again.
Oh, and another way is to make it look like an act of revenge for Filipinos if ever Tapales loses this match but I don't want to assume just yet. Tapales is preparing like crazy hard on his training so we will see if there will be a change in history.
If Tapales wins, Casimero's chance to face the Monster will increase.

I believe that regardless of the outcome of the Inoue vs. Tapales fight, Casimero still has a decent chance of fighting Inoue. The champion has already announced his interest in staying in the division where he is the reigning champion, which might mean he will accommodate multiple challengers before seeking a new belt at a higher weight.

While he is waiting, Casimero can keep himself busy to ensure that his ranking improves, and I have no doubt that it will happen.

So, I remain optimistic that this anticipated fight will happen in the near future.

We will have to wait and see, I mean, in just 2 fights then Inoue have unified the belt already (assuming he wins against Tapales). Not sure if that is a record of sort, having climb up to a new division and getting all the belts.

So maybe that's why he said that he wants to stay in the division. And perhaps fights all new comers including Casimero in which all of us here wanted to see because we have been deprived of it at 118 lbs.

That's something that will really give him a good credit for his career in case that he will unify all the belts having only 2 fights
in this new division that he enters.

I am also positive that Inoue might stay for some time and maybe will accept some challengers once he holds all the belts, more on the moneymaking side.

Though still early to assume and we never know if things will go according to how most of the fans seen the possible
outcome of this upcoming possible fight between Inoue and Tapales.

There is not much money to get in the super-bantamweight division specially if he already unified all the belts. Besides Casimero, there is no other boxer that could give him a good fight so the camp's best choice is to move in the featherweight division because there, the guys are more stronger and it will mean that they will have more money to get if he will be successful too.

For Casimero, I don't know. I'm afraid that he's already too late when it comes to chances and if he won't be chosen as Inoue's rival by their camp itself whenever Inoue will remain for another fight defending his belt, then I don't know anymore what Casimero can do in-order to have his dream fight against Inoue.
