I will give someone 50 zims if they help me with my wallet out of sync problem been like this since 5/9/14. I reloaded the program did the .conf switch added the bootstrap.dat it is synching but not very fast should i just let it load all week
It just takes a few minutes. Which OS you using and what is your wallet version number - top in the menu under "about Zimstake-QT". It must be version v1.0.1.1-ZS. Yes i have that current version i am using windows 7 Have you tried opening and closing the wallet a few times? I have at 1st i got a assertion failed then reinstalled with Bootstrap.dat not its up but extremely slow im at block 19440 and slowly climbing hopefully by the end of today i will know if it worked. Why is it so slow? Cant say. At least it is syncing. To give you an example. To sync the BTC blockchain from the Jan 2014 bootstrap.dat and then download the remaining blocks takes overnight on my Win 8.1 PC. The same procedure on my Macbook Pro takes 1 week. It is difficult to say why. |

Look at the icons bottom right that there is no Zimstate little icon. Also check in ctrl-alt-del that the Zimstake-QT is not running. Then re-open the wallet and see if it downloads further blocks. |

Everyone. But what will also help is to log on to Poloniex and post in the troll box. There are also admins monitoring the trollbox. Some positive comments, links to relevant pages and specs of the coin were posted there a few days back. The more exposure though the better. |

correct, feel free to mass dump all your pumped coins at any point in the next 44 years, exit the carriage on the left and carry on up the stairs to platform scrypt for a quick buck with that 0 PREMINE how will you pay for bounties then eh? this coin is a joke right.... come back in 40 odd years and someone will let you know the answer to that one i don't get it tho wtf why would you make a coin that has a 8 minute block time with 3 coins per block and 144million total pow phase that will take 40years.... Let me ask you a similar question. If you need to fill a chess board with rice grains by starting on block 1 and doubling the number of grains on each block until you get to block 64 - it sounds easy right? Wrong, there is not enough rice in the world to do this. It is your mind that plays tricks with you. Since POS is 100% and simultaneous with POW, the POS blocks will take up the 4.8m POW block. It will actually take up the POW blocks so quickly that you will end up with maybe 40m or 50m coins in circulation by the time the 4.8m blocks are up. We might also see that the coin does not take 44 years but maybe one or two weeks then the POW hight is reached. |

Looks like 38 blocks have been mined so far and I got 14 of them. Congrats mate! ya, holy crap dude... way to go... leave some blocks for the lil guy tho :-P Blocks are only 50 now. Later on there will be blocks of 500 so then you just need one block to match 10 of the current blocks. |

Yes Magneticoin was a joke. Yep, waste of resources.. I stand behind this coin, and do not want it to turn into a joke, but I will definitely need support from the community to help make it all it can be. Like I've said before, I'm open to any suggestions and any input from the community. I may not agree with the input but I will consider anything that is worthwhile for the coin. Any service can be used by this coin soon ? What type of services do you have in mind? 20 min block time severely limits the viable services. Merchant services like use for purchase transactions will not be viable. Blocktime is also one Bitcoin's biggest issues. |

Plans on multipools are also discussed on freenode IRC #projectzim if you want to see what is being discussed before formal posts are made here on BCT. cool. disappointed this was a sha coin, so scrypt mining would be very much welcome. You can still get in on PoS phase on Bittrex as the price is still cheap compared to other PoS coins like BC and CINNI. In addition ZS has 12% stake interest which makes it a lucrative and more valuable investment. Also, ZS total coins are roughly 1/20th of BC and 1/4 of CINNI. You do the maths of future value. |
