At what rate?  I may be interested.
Gox - 3%?

As the title says.  US only, not Canada.

And OP, please dont edit/delete your OP as other people might have had the same question.

Well said. Now this thread is useless.
It was useless to begin with, too.  Locked.

I'm KB1ZCL.  Only a tech, though.

@TheButterZone: lmfao.  Lucky!

There are not stupid questions?  Specially since this one seems to have been edited away...lol.
You know the saying: No stupid questions, only stupid people.

Not that that applies here or anything.
406  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Really Stupid Question on: September 28, 2013, 08:39:38 PM
Probably not.
That isn't really an answer to my question...  It wasn't yes or no, heh.

If you're saying I probably don't have the upgraded version, it's hashing at 7.5GH/s, so I think it is>  I just want to make sure.

Answered.  Thanks!

Looks like the screws are not evenly screwed to the same tightness. Temp is only 40C max for me with removed top and side casing
Ah, ok.  I took them out and put them back in, so that explains it.

i think some of my fellow participants in this signature bounty are shills. i think an investigation needs to be made. the posts of half of the accounts here look as if they were made by bots

I think a lot of people do that, unfortunately.  It would definitely be a pain in the ass to search through everyone's posts and then weed out the spammers, though.

Yeah, the 'no trolling' policy was to try and fight against that... its just that it would be a massive effort for me to look through everyones posts and police it, I don't have time to do that every week.

I'd appreciate it if anyone called out these suspicious posters (PM would be fine, i'll keep you anonymous)

Witch hunt time? Witch hunt time.

I'd start with the confirmed scammers advertising your link. Like, r3wt (thanks buddy for suggesting this!)

if Seal's got a problem with my trust rating he'll talk to me about it.

So, uh, why do you have that trust rating?

That tilting looks weird. Get that sink off, put new thermal paste on the chips, and put the sink back. Better leave the side casing (both parts) and top plate off and have the fan blowing down on he sink, do the last only when you're really sure you want to run it without the side casing. Much better cooling and you halved the noise too. I get about 10-13 degree C. above ambient temp on a heavy overclocked jalapeno this way.
Alright.  I'm going to try doing that this weekend.

Also, is it OK if I leave the top plate on?  I like having the BFL logo, heh.

412  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Jalapeno Question on: September 24, 2013, 12:15:00 AM
Every 30 seconds or so, my Jalapeno goes to 5900Mhps for a second then back up to 7300.... It only lasts for a fraction of a second.

Is this normal?  If not, any idea why it happens?
Could it be heat throttling? What temp is it reporting? Mine runs around 7450 with much less variation than you're reporting, at up to but usually below 45˚C. Also, what software and what pool are you using?
Bitminter, bitminter, and maybe... The heatsink seems to be a little tilted.  It runs at 53-54, but I think it can withstand much more than that.

419  Economy / Computer hardware / [WTS] BFL Jalapeno on: September 21, 2013, 08:15:49 PM
I just got my Jalapeno back from BFL (I RMA'd it), since mine was broken.  This Jalapeno is the 7GH model, which costs ~$374 (IIRC) directly from BFL.

I don't NEED to sell it, but if someone makes a good offer, I'll definitely sell it.

In order to keep this thread concise, I will delete any offers that I do not want to accept.  Don't take it personally.  Smiley

Top unaccepted offer so far: 2.5BTC.

Enjoying the regular payouts.

Is the range still Sunday to Saturday? Or has it become Monday to Sunday?
Yup.  It's nice to get 0.05 every week!
