1361  Economy / Auctions / Re: [Auction] Goxtrader.com for sale. on: February 02, 2013, 02:23:01 PM
Please use increments of 0.5 BTC when bidding.

Start bid will be 4.5 BTC
I thought the OP said over 10 euros.  So shouldn't the starting bid me the equivalent of 10 euros?
1362  Economy / Auctions / Re: Sell your Signature! on: February 02, 2013, 02:21:40 PM
2.49 BTC.

We don't condone people intentionally masking their true location, as it's a form of fraud and can be used for illicit reasons.

The term fraud has very specific meaning and I'm going to assume you are misunderstanding that meaning.  By transacting using Tor or a VPN to protect my privacy is not something that violates your terms of service (at least not my preliminary reading of it).    Even if it did though, that is not the definitioin of fraud.
I think he meant that they might be able to use Tor to pretend that they're in another location.

WOW.

This guy is amazing.  I got a comprehensive report on a scammer, turns out he has like 100 felony convictions.

I have everything I could EVER want on this guy...  Wow.

I have a feeling he's going to be quite busy here... and on BTCJam.
Yeah.  This guy is gonna be really rich, really soon.

Me to BCB:  "did you tell greendot it was your moneypak?"
BCB:  "No.  I could have pushed harder, but didn't want to get danieldaniel in trouble."

Lots of people have ratings over 150 on OTC.  Does this mean I would trust them with half a million like those idiots did with pirate?  LOL.  The web of trust is just an indicator, not proof that someone won't run with $500k USD.  I only verified it is not a scam in that he actually had a $300 moneypak to load and did not immediately phone GreenDot to dispute.  I could care less if he disputes now as there is no money left on the card.

Since when is "money laundering" with bitcoins bad behavior on OTC deserving a -5 rating daniel?  This has nothing to do with you.  There are people who openly mix coins.  Do they deserve -5's?  I have mixed coins before.  Do I deserve -5?
Mixing coins != money laundering.  Money laundering is hiding CRIMINAL (drug) money.

He has OPENLY admitted to being a drug dealer on SR.  He is using this to launder money.

Would you trust an international criminal?  That's the reason for the -5.

EDIT:
Also, he said it was a gift.  How can anyone say it's their moneypak without a receipt?  They wouldn't have believed him anyways, unless he had a reciept.

1371  Economy / Lending / Re: [BTCJAM] 48 BTC Long Term Reinvestment Loan - 73% Funded! on: January 28, 2013, 08:24:53 PM
I will be investing 1 btc once my transaction confirms.

This is, what, his THIRD thread?  SERIOUSLY PEOPLE, THIS IS MONEY LAUNDERING.

He is a DRUG DEALER ON SILK ROAD (he has admitted to doing this).  He is LAUNDERING YOUR MONEYPAK'S.

Even if he's NOT laundering your Moneypak's, these AREN'T.  HIS.  MONEYPAK'S!

He gets them from RANDOM PEOPLE on the forum, WITHOUT TAKING A RECEIPT, and GIVES IT TO YOU FOR YOUR BITCOINS.

This is the most risky "investment" I've heard of.  If you're gonna send your BTC to this guy, just send it to me instead!  Or donate it to a good cause.
1373  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: I load your debit card in exchange for your BTC, you get 8% more $ over spot on: January 28, 2013, 07:56:02 PM
I have verified this is not a scam.  MoneypakTrader loaded my card with $300 and it was not disputed with greendot.  Danieldaniel is out of control.  Moneypak can only be reversed if you deny ownership of the moneypak, as BCB did.  There are lots of retarded people who don't know any better or don't care, who pay huge markups to trade moneypaks for bitcoins.

My thread buying moneypaks is here:
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=105179.0
*sigh*.  BCB didn't deny ownership of the MP.  He made that up, just like the rest of everything.

Even *IF*, and that's a BIG if, this is not a scam, it's money laundering.  Read his offers.  It's so damn obvious.

EDIT:  Also, he can dispute it for _months_ after the trade.  Just like paypal.
1374  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Coinbase limits... on: January 26, 2013, 10:29:47 PM
They want me to buy 10 bitcoin, wait 30 days with my money in their account?? What are they nuts? What kind of people would use a service like that?

I don't think there's a requirement that you keep the money in your coinbase wallet during the 30 days.  I'm pretty sure you can spend it.  I certainly haven't read that anywhere.

I think the requirement is just that 30 days after your first transaction, you are considered verified, and you can now go up to a limit of 100 BTC.

If you posted on their forum calling them nuts, I can see why they removed your post.

Calling them nuts? Who said that? I asked about their limits and why there were limits. The least they could have done was respond in kind with some kind of answer. Anything. Apparently if the question/answer is not in their favor, on to the next one. Just because they don't like the question shouldn't give them the excuse to not answer it.

Everyone tells me to read, but read what? The only thing I see about limits is on their page and it says,

"Are there any limits in place?

Yes, the maximum you can buy or sell right now is $100 USD per user, per day.  This is a low limit just so we can keep an eye on things as we ramp up, and make sure we have all the right systems in place to prevent abuse.  We’ll raise this limit over the coming months."

If you think that encapsulates and answers all the questions people have, I really don't think so. They could have least elaborated a little on that since their whole presence there is based on buying/selling bitcoin. They spent the least amount of energy explaining the most important topic I think. Seriously, maybe I missed the memo or some other obscure hard finding document on their page. Since everyone here is well versed and very informative about how coinbase works, please send me the URL that explains all of this I'd love to read it.

I'm always the negative type of questioner. Most people on a forum are too intimidated or afraid to question things that will prompt a hostile response, but unfortunately sometimes that is the only way things get answered. If I tip toe around, trying to be politically correct all the time, trying not to offend everyone's sensitive personality nothing would come out of it. Also, if you get upset and respond to someone's post/question or opinion on something in a hostile manner, you may need a break and chill out a little or as my grandfather would say, get laid.

Heh.  You can only buy 10 btc a day, and you will have access to them once the bank transfer completes.

Then, 30 days after your first purchase, your limit will be raised to 100 btc a day.  They don't keep the 10 btc or anything.

For some reason, I have the feeling that this guy is going to get a scammer tag in less than a month.
Concurred.

You recall, it covers the MPOE options bot.
Oh, ok.  Thanks!

1379  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Dwolla Begins PayPal-Style Account Suspensions on: January 25, 2013, 09:02:10 PM
ben-abuya,

I think you will have better luck buying OTC.
With OTC, there might not always be a guaranteed trade, however.

Also, some people feel more comfortable sending money to a "big" company, rather than "that guy over there".
1380  Economy / Lending / Re: Offering loans to new members straight out of newbie queue! on: January 24, 2013, 05:16:33 PM
Ok, good.  I thought you were serious.

Now you're going to be disregarded by everyone.

Disregard.
Disregard.
