441  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Bitcoin Price Drop, is no-one worried? on: July 17, 2017, 01:53:17 PM
Panic and rumor are everywhere as per this saying " it is a fake news or propaganda it is all works fine." So, if there are people who are creating panic we should we keep believe in a rumors we should try to move on and try to bring some chances where everyone stop making rumors and come and take a part. So the change will bring more investors to keep the prices stable.
442  Economy / Speculation / Re: How low can bitcoin price go till 1 august ? on: July 17, 2017, 09:04:23 AM
The price of Bitcoin is liable to drop, and that is not an issue, but how low will it be.
Actually this is most asked for now how low will it drop. As bitcoin price is going down, Im hoping it will not below $1000. I dont know really at until what price this dip to dump, hoping ofcourse this will bounce to high price soon.
It will be a real big crash if the price gets below $1000.
I don’t think that it will be easy for the bitcoin this time to recover fast, with the ongoing price crash the demand of the bitcoin in the market is becoming less as many people are selling it because of the fear that it may not rise again and I think this could be of a real damage to the bitcoin. I also think that the bitcoin may not recover in this year.
443  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Price Level by August 1 on: July 17, 2017, 08:18:57 AM
so,now that we are below 2000$ and the price is going down everyday
where are all tothemooners? Smiley
it is going to drop even more, but come 1st of August we never know what happens
my hope it will recover and ,eventually prove all of the experts right-
the ones that had been predicting 10.000+ figures

I'm still very bullish...it's a normal correction fueled a bit by uncertainty and fear...but once BTC passes the 1st august and there is no "end of the world" it will resume it's path and will reach new highs

soon we will know the outcome Wink

Of course, no "end of the world". But what if too much of common investors will be gone for a long time..

investors are playing long term
it is common folks or small holders who are panicking and selling
today we saw a low of 1810$ at one point!
the price has recovered some, but to be losing almost 200$ every day for several days.... anyone could panic
but this is when you have to decide:you either hold and wait or try to sell and short it,or even to stay in LTC or Dash or ETH for the time being
as I had mentioned,I sold and was right,I could have rebought at 1820 ish if I wanted to

No doubt the big investors are here for a long term and they take benefits from it. It seems that the short term or the small investors get panic easy and this is natural because they have small investments and no one will like to let their investment drown.
Those with strong nerves will be the successful ones here. There are many reasons for the bitcoin to recover and show to the people that it is the strongest, we just need to stay calm.
444  Economy / Speculation / Re: Invested when BTC was at 2550 and 2320. What to do now? on: July 17, 2017, 07:34:14 AM
ask yourself the most important question: why did you invest in bitcoin?

* was it because you wanted to make more money?
* or perhaps it was because you saw how bitcoin works, how it is a decentralized cryptocurrency that is giving you financial freedom.

answering this question will help you decide what to do with your coins...
Nice, this is impressive to know the reason and the purpose for which one bought the bitcoin and accepted it.
Still I think whatever the reason maybe but no one here came for to bear any kind of loses, so any reason in the end can’t stop you noticing it that you are losing your wealth which is not acceptable to anyone.
445  Economy / Speculation / Re: How many of you are secretly buying bitcoin? on: July 17, 2017, 07:02:13 AM
Hello folks,

Right now Preev site is saying that the Bitcoin price is floating around $1,950 and I think the price will fall even further until Aug 1, it's a panic selling environment in the market and hence it is a good opportunity to buy bitcoins at this moment (next couple of weeks) in my opinion. How many of you are having the same opinion?

Best,
Dudeperfect
I agree with you I have the same opinion as well. It is a great opportunity for people who have capital to invest, this is the best time to buy and hold the Bitcoin for at least next three months and the price when will boom high then they can enjoy the profit gained. The whales of bitcoin market will be very happy and enjoying all this time.
446  Economy / Economics / Re: How can we make more money? on: July 16, 2017, 09:40:55 PM
What are the things to do to succeed in trade? What are you doing to make your business bigger?
How can we make more money?
To be successful in trading, never stop reading some articles and forums so you can get information for the currency you used to trade. To make your business bigger, you need a capital, knowledge, skills, and much of focus so you can be able to manage it.
Learning any business is always tedious and difficult but a person can learn through experience.
Similarly becoming a trader requires time and experience. With time, every person learns and eventually becomes skilled in his respective field. Similar is the case with trading.
447  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Has gambling affected your life in a good way? on: July 16, 2017, 08:47:08 PM
Gambling actually doesnt give me a positive thing. This week maybe i have lost about 1btc on gambling dice. Though i understand that there are more losing than winning, Iistill gamble. In the end, this gambling is really for fun. Not just words.
You can count finding entertainment as a positive side of gambling ?
Because there are people in this world who are deliberately looking for good entertainment even they are having big money for spending for that purposes.

You must understand you got a method to entertain yourself even you are not spending for that. If you value your entertainment more then you will realize the positive side of gambling.

Because finding entertainment is not possible for all the people. It is up to your mentality and up to the available opportunity in front of you.
I agree. Definitely your money will not get your peace of mind. You must find some ways to sooth your mind and soul. Gambling must be the right option for this purposes this could be the very big positive side of gambling. Unfortunately we are the gamblers will never realize the big benefit of gambling and simply complaining about its addiction and incurring losses.
448  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is betting a good choice for a newbie? on: July 16, 2017, 08:10:32 PM
To me I play gambling for last 5 years and for every time I play gambling I consider myself as a newbie, Because in casino gambling my experience and sill have no use. I mostly depend on my luck there. And I have no knowledge about my luck either I will be lucky for that time or not. Therefore I think there Is no use to have experience in gambling, because in gambling and specially in casino gambling we mostly depend on our luck.
449  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] DIMCOIN The Future Of Equity on the Blockchain on: July 16, 2017, 07:55:26 PM
You can invest in DIMcoin as it is a powerful and fast growing coin as it takes lesser time for DIMcoin to get a transaction completed.
Yes, this seems more reasonable advice as per the current scenario of crypto world. Bitcoin prices are falling rapidly down. But we can have hope on new projects like Dimcoin a better future in coming days. If anyone go through their goals through whitepapers, then definitely will understand the importance of investing with it.
You must be right with respect to falling prices of bitcoins and all other crypto. People are moving out their money still I too believe investing into new projects will keep our networth to stay without getting affected by these huge dumps of all crypto markets. I have already planned to invest into dimcoin as keeping bitcoins nor ethereum is not seeming safer in this falling conditions.
450  Economy / Economics / Re: Is bitcoin a good way to invest your money ? on: July 16, 2017, 07:13:42 PM
I heard that bitcoin is a good investment for making a huge profit in the future , is that right ? Because i want to buy some bitcoin in these days .

If you're serious with your question, you better keep it like storing it. Otherwise it's not a instant earning like happens in altcoins.
To be very honest and simple, I think that bitcoin is more likely to be hold for long term which will definitely bear fruit and the alts are for a short term and I must say for day trading instruments. If you are expecting bitcoin to prove itself being best in a month or so then you better move forward because it is not gonna happen.
451  Economy / Economics / Re: When will more retailers accept Bitcoin on: July 16, 2017, 06:24:47 PM
in my opinion there are a couple of things that are preventing retailers from accepting bitcoin:
1. people who own bitcoin are a lot but people who are willing to spend bitcoin are very little. this means the possibility of little to no customers.
2. price is volatile still. it has been becoming less volatile but we can see drama like blocks and split can cause bigger volatility again!
3. fees. although they have come down ever since spam attack stopped but if they go up again and remain high people will be even less willing in spending their coins.
4. things such as chain split. which are scary and nobody wants a scary currency when there is fiat.

when these change, more retailers will accept bitcoin.
I accept that the number of people spending bitcoin is less but it due to the lack of opportunities to spend bitcoin. I haven’t seen any store yet that accepts the bitcoin directly, this is the hurdles that keep on the users saving it or converting the bitcoin into fiat.

I guess people will start spending bitcoin once they find a cool place where bitcoin is accepted as a pay method.
452  Economy / Economics / Re: Looking for ideas to invest on: July 16, 2017, 05:29:29 PM
I don't think you can really buy stocks with your name printed on the certificate but yes there is a site called 1Broker which allows you to trade in stocks, forex, indices & commodities using bitcoins but you can just trade and earn profits on the movements of those options (you won't get any actual share with your name). I think if you want to earn the profit on the stocks then it is not a bad idea to try it.
Before going for any such activity online where you can’t claim your ownership in a hard form I think it should be first confirmed that the site that you chose for this purpose is not a fake one or a scam to take your bitcoins and then disappears or don’t give you the profit and instead of earning profit you lose your bitcoin.

It’s a bit serious issue when you are going to invest bitcoins.
453  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What I desperately need Now on: July 16, 2017, 01:49:24 PM
That can be difficult if you rely on external parameters for what constitutes a dump. 20% of current value? 50%? Some coins have shows even 100% loss in this past week.

What may be easier is this: setting up buy orders on each platform for the coins you would like to buy should they dump. That's even better than an alert, since a trade will trigger if the price dump matches your order.
Yeah the buy order setting is a nice idea; this is how you can achieve your goals more efficiently and without any extra efforts. But you should be careful about the app that you are using; there are some apps that don’t show the appropriate price depends on the exchange they use. So, sometimes things go wrong this how.
454  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Are You Disappointed In Trading? on: July 15, 2017, 08:43:08 PM
Disappointments are normal when we expect a different or favorable outcome from our investments and it turns out the other way arountd. BTW, cryptocurrency market today is recovering now. It seems  all is green at this moment.  Grin

Yeah that's true it's part of the trading activities of every person that trades. When you think that you can profit a lot but the coins suddenly fell down a lot but today all coins now are recovering. Sometimes disappointments lead to a greater success in life.
According to my understanding disappointment is something that lowers your moral and demotivates you. Once when you are disappointed it means that you loosen your grip and will never enter into a certain activity again. Once when I experience a loss in a certain coin I will barely try to go for it again when its alt. Disappointment can only lead you to success when you change your strategy and start with a new zeal.
455  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What does 'Pump and Dump' means in crypto trading ? on: July 15, 2017, 07:42:59 PM
hi all.,

i am not a day trader , so i dont know much about these terms.,

there was trollbox on polo where people used to say pump and dump specific coins. but trollbox is gone now.,

from basic understanding dump means DROP,
does the PUMP means buy ?

Just like what it happens in a real life situation, when you are doing a pump you are putting a pressure that results into the rise of a certain object. That is also what really happen in the market industry. Price values of various types of cryptocurrency undergoes a certain process of pumping and dumping which normally happens with the sudden exchanges of price value in the market. Also in cryptotrading. The rise of the btc value for buying a certain altcoin is an indication that it is now time to sell some assets you are holding for trading.

Indeed we actually have some time to look for profits in one place and also some time to find other views outside the venue. For every time of life definitely has some changes which we should want to follow those changes. BTC and cryptocurrency is the very thing that has an attachment, if you want to get a lot of advantage then must know and use both of these. But the science of trading you must have for the dump and pump that is discussed in this thread is very dangerous. As the above said, the agan so fix your way of thinking

Life is the name of a persistent change where you can never bring a moment again to the same place once it is over then it’s over, however you can make the current and future more pleasant by proper planning and if things works on accordingly. I will simply say both the two words pump and dump are the beauty of the crypto financial system. These are what from where we are getting the benefits and the crunch of life.
456  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Poll: Daytraders, how many trades do you make per day on average? on: July 15, 2017, 06:13:07 PM
It also depends on my mood, and on the level of fluctuations, and whether or not I have something else to do that has a better financial rewarding ratio, but on average 4-5 times per day. I have even had days where I have done +10 trades, but it's insanely time consuming as I have to monitor the market basically the entire day.
It mostly depends on the market there come even days when I don’t trade for two or three days because I am not in the favor of losing money while some of the time I trade for more 10 times a day. The past two weeks were favorable for me and my trade transactions were on average around 8 per day.

Honestly speaking I am comfortable with a 6 to 7 trade transactions per day, if the number exceeds than that I don’t enjoy it more.
457  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 2017 ICO Profit / Loss on: July 10, 2017, 10:37:04 PM
Hi,
Lets say 100 ICOs lunched from january to april 2017.

In our exemple Brian invested 1 Btc in every ICO for a total of 100 BTC.
Those 100 ICO are already on exchanges now, so if Brian wanna sell, he can.

Question: is Brian making more than he invested or less now with his 100 BTC investment?

I'm talking about someone who invested in all 2017 ICOs till now, 1BTC Each ICO. is he in profit right now?

Give a speculation in % of his winning or loss on this day.
...

First of all investing in 100 ICO is really crazy when we think that there are 100BTC available. Anyway if there are 100 ICOs I believe that most of them are scam or without a profit. What I would consider a successful ones are less than 10 but within a month you can't be rich from ICOs, that's a true fact but everything can happen. We should expect always surprises from ICOs and cryptocurrencies.
458  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: SC coin keep dumping - :( on: July 10, 2017, 10:23:26 PM
Things are going very bad, bought at @750 now the price is at @300s, what's happening guys, why the price is so low and I can say that this is the highest crash that happened to SIA, isn't it? The price is 50% lower than it was before, are really these ASICS mining and selling their coins so they are dumping?
Not, I know ASIC mining SC can't buy at now, you just can order and waiting 2018 to receive ASIC. Maybe, the whale know this news can create panic seller because all people are know Asic + GPU = death price altcoin Grin

I'm not sure what is happening in the backstage but the situation of altcoins is very bad right now, all coins are dumped very much and the volume of 24h trading is very low, not sure if the traders are on holidays since it is the first week of July!

We can only speculate whats going on with alt-coin market right now. It been like this last 3 days or so. Bitcoin already experienced a few dips but already recovered now. Although I see LTC jumping, maybe they are dumping and pumping LTC now. Or maybe investors are cashing it out and enjoying the vacation. Alt-coins should not be affected by the Segwit2x activation on bitcoin so I can't really follow what's the cause of all of this dip.

Litecoin is getting a higher support from the community and from the miners. Litecoins was forgotten by the people but recently they woke up and start investing and mining in Litecoin which I think that it was needed to see Litecoin succeed. But these Asics are making a panic to people because 1 year is a lot and I'm afraid they are currently mining without giving any info to the public.
459  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] [ICO] DIMCOIN The Future Of Equity on the Blockchain on: July 09, 2017, 12:05:19 PM
I got Dimcoin payout confirmation e-mail yesterday evening, but as of now I still haven't received anything in my Depotwallet. Is that normal to take that long?

I would suggest you to contact the support and/or join the telegram group here https://t.me/dimcoin and also send them an email info@dimcoin.io and last but not least contact the OP for this issue. I don't know if they have any slack channel but from their first post seems they don't have any.
460  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: BYTEBALL: Totally new consensus algorithm + private untraceable payments on: July 09, 2017, 12:01:32 PM
110,411,089,425,997 bytes has been moved from the address https://explorer.byteball.org/#MZ4GUQC7WUKZKKLGAS3H3FSDKLHI7HFO but the amount is not yet spent, has the distribution just started?

Tonych just said it will start in a few minutes on slack.

Yeah, It just started and I received the bytes Smiley

I received the bytes for my BTC just now as well Smiley

When will the Blackbytes distributed? It still shows 0 Blackbytes, maybe these blackbytes will be distributed after the first one GBytes will be distributed right? Sorry for asking but it's my first time that I'm participating in this kind of airdrop but maybe the OP/admins are very busy sending these transaction to all participants.
