4721  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: How to Come Back? on: May 06, 2018, 07:54:31 PM
Are you kidding me? Getting loans to invest in a cryptocurrency? That is not a good idea at all and now you are going to mortgage your house? The only mistake you made was doing an action without thinking about the consequences. Let alone time judge you what you have done. Talk to your family or friends and borrow your money so you can pay your loans back. At least they can be patient with you.
A very dumb decision to make but it does actually happen and i dont know why some people do made such decisions in life on where they do took loan and investing it on a very speculative market or kind of investment. We do know that cryptocurrency wont really give an assurance for us to make money thats why it isnt really idea to made such decision on getting loan or selling off things like house or any assets just to invest on it. Its too risky. Coming back or recovery would be hard because debt will always chase you but since you do still have holdings then better to utilize it carefully.
4722  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Am I the only one? [Cryptopia exchange] on: May 06, 2018, 05:18:48 PM
I'm not quite sure if this is the right board to post this to but if it is not, just move it to the right one (mod), Thanks.

I deposited byteball to cryptopia last night from my byteball wallet and it has been 17 hours but it still doesn't show in my balance in cryptopia. I check the status of the transaction in my byteball wallet and it is stated that it is confirmed. I also cheked in the block explorer and I can see that I used the correct address to send it in.

Am I the only one having a hard time depositing at the said exchange?
Lucky for me that i do able to read up recent issues towards cryptopia when it comes on depositing Gbytes into their exchange and now the tokens isnt recieved even the transaction is already completed or confirmed.Lots of bounty participants do really have problem towards this matter. For now, i have seen other way on selling those tokens without the need on transferring it into exchanges which you can directly sell it into your own wallet. Just find the btc-gbyte exchange in chat then type "sell" further informations would be given.
Have you got any idea if those user's issue has been resolved by the cryptopia team? I've also asked around on the byteball telegram channel and it seems that they are also experiencing it. Anyways, I've contacted to cryptopia team and they said they will get to it as soon as possible.

Can we use that btc-gbyte exchange even if we are only selling a small amount maybe? I thought that's only for huge transactions? How about the transaction fee?
Upto these days it isnt really resolve and cryptopia team do said they do have maintenance on gbytes wallet i dont know if its already done or not.

Yeah you can still sell on partitions but you would really have just a max of 1GB per sell transaction. Fees arent too high but expect when it comes to price it would be lesser compared to exchanges.
4723  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Using Bitcoin and altcoins when under 18 on: May 06, 2018, 04:11:47 PM
You can try to convert altcoin into bitcoin just like I did on my local exchange.
I'm sure you can find too because every country have their own local exchange, right ?
Or I'm just too lucky since my local exchange doesn't require KYC
Not all countries do really have their own local exchange thats why some people who do engage on crypto would really have these kind of problems.Going back into topic when you are under 18 when you cashing out large sums or amount from your bitcoin converted to fiat you can make use on your parents card or accounts or just simply find p2p into your place. When it comes to your problem with alts, converting them to btc would only just need a few clicks it isnt really a problem at all.
4724  Economy / Securities / Re: Raise Funds For Companies Using ICO? on: May 06, 2018, 03:10:40 PM
Code:
https://www.ethmint.io/ ?

Is this a service provided by the same company that started Moria ICO/Token?
If that's the case, I'd suggest for people to be cautious on this one and better check it first.

I researched about Moria Project and find out that..
- its fb page was deleted / https://www.facebook.com/MoriaCrypto/
- it have updates on twitter but no actual actions/discussion from the community / https://twitter.com/moria_ico?lang=en
- it have low ratings on most ico rating site

Good catch!

Having these things would really put you in doubt in first glance. Be cautions and dont easily fall out to use up or invest money.
Having no active media platforms or mediums which do signify there would be no interest at all.
4725  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Etherdelta sucks on: May 06, 2018, 01:51:47 PM
Why use etherdelta if you can use forkdelta? I was also a ED user before FD comes out and I really hate the user interface of ED and its gliches. try forkdelta its a fork version of ED but with less gliches and I think much more easy to navigate user interface.

Also with IDEX. Try IDEX decentralized exchange just like ETHERDELTA. But for me ETHERDELTA is better than IDEX because of the transaction fee, and there website design. Easy to understand.
Not totally have much difference among these to DEX even on IDEX its still user friendly which i do saw its easy to understand compared to etherdelta but most people do still prefer the old ways where they do still entrust to trade with ED but well this isnt really an issue because the more exchange we do have the more options on where we would like to trade, its just really matter on traders preference.
4726  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: FUCK TRUMP COIN on: May 06, 2018, 10:43:39 AM
There is already an FTC coin.  It's called Feathercoin.  This coin will never get listed on any exchanges or listing websites because of the confusion of having two coins with the same ticker symbol.

Better try another angle.
Always the 2nd one would really need to adjust into their symbol yet there is already a coin which do make use of that ticker. Not only this coin would be listed on any exchanges due to ticker problem but also this thing would really be consider since this is just an another shitcoin which i dont see any purpose why this thing is being created. Roll Eyes
4727  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Is BTC an effective investment option in the long run? on: May 05, 2018, 07:04:03 PM
Hello community crypto, I am a newcomer to this market. My initial investment was a few ETH. I notice that in recent days, BCH value seems to increase quite high compared to the general market. > 10%. So, BCH has to be a good investment for long term to hold?
First of all i would like to welcome you into this forum and to this cryptoworld. Percentage gains doesnt mean they are really good to hold of for long term.Always go for the main coin which is bitcoin and bitcoin cash is just a forked coin.It do have value but when it comes to future i would remain still or trust bitcoin no matter what.Just remember one thing on investing to crypto, dont ever go on all in and invest on the money that you can just afford to lose.
4728  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Ethereum reached $800 mark on: May 05, 2018, 06:17:29 PM
There is a lot of positive momentum in the crypto market right now though it remains to be seen how long the momentum will last. Currently, Ethereum is on a bull run. The coin is outperforming the rest making it altcoin of the moment.

The coin has gained over 12% in the past 24 hours and this has helped it cross the $800 mark for the first time since the early weeks of March. As of this writing, Ethereum has a market cap of $79,250,101,351.

source : https://crypto-lines.com/2018/05/04/ethereum-is-on-a-bull-run/
This is already somehow anticipated not only ETH but on most top altcoin in the market even the lower ones which we do able to witness that price dips or red market on previous 1-3 months of this year and for those who did able to take risk to accumulate into those times specially on ETH will surely have the gains since it do able to reach up $800+ once again and it wont really just stop on that range for sure.
4729  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: When is a coin too expensive? on: May 04, 2018, 11:25:20 PM
it is very difficult to detect it all, crypto currency market is too fluctuating for the prediction. all of which are just baseless estimates. luck is just a right speculation
The market is having a big fluctuation because bitcoin is considered as a speculative coin than a currency, so the market moves according to the market sentiments, if there is a negative news, the entire market comes crashing down and then recover a few days later.
The market is evaluated with the amount of adaptation in a particular currency, the amount of investors and miners determines the price of the coin and so is the reason you see more give aways and airdrops for every new coins or tokens, because you need to have a community to follow the entire process and if so it will keep on evolving, in short, more users the more expensive the coin would be.
The thing you said was right because if a particular coin do only have a small community or lets say supporters then expect on what would be the possible outcome where price of coin wouldnt be expensive the same into those coins which do have strong support. This is indeed a speculative market where price is too volatile which we cant really consider on making fixed presumptions and views.
4730  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: pending withdrawal on: May 04, 2018, 10:45:24 PM
is there any problem withdrawal from Qryptos?
because the withdrawal of ETH has been in pending from 3 days ago.

what is going on? is ethereum in trouble?
or does this often happen in Qryptos?
What coin you do convert from those ETH's of yours? So far with Qryptos i do see this exchange have ads of facebook and when i checked out the volume on daily basis its just small and too far of on the ranking thats why i dont bother to use up this exchange and now i do read up these issues and on the reddit ones too. Eth network is just fine there no congestion, this kind of problem is already on the site itself.
4731  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin gambling laws on: May 04, 2018, 10:03:16 PM
It means Fortunejack is Prohibited on that place? Are you agree guys all gambling site or casino must have a KYC?
Yeah, I assumed it meant that but as previously noted often sites say the do not allow gambling in those areas but do not actively encforce it as a sort of bypass to the regulation. I assume fortunejack is doing the same.

most of the casinos are operating licenced in Curacao
you can read some about it here: https://www.gamblingsites.org/laws/curacao/
some big dice sites like Stake,Bitsler,Primedice,Bustabit are all licensed
many of the casinos are not licensed at all,but you have to understand that getting a license
doesn't mean that this particular casino won't scam you
but since the license is worth substancial sums of money and it does have some regulations and a semblance of control
it is better to play at a licensed casino rather than at an unlicensed one
Awesome, thank you for the read.
And thank you everyone else for your detailed and incredibly helpful answers. I greatly appreciate it! Smiley
Since you already satisfied on the answers given above by most members then you should locked out this thread to prevent repetition of suggestions. Thanks

For on topic reply licensing would vary on which country you are planning to make a gambling site. Some of reputable sites do have the license some doesnt have and as said above as a gambler it would be much safer but not a guarantee to play into those licensed sites.
4732  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Tokens (Altcoins) / Re: For bounty program rule, what's your opinion: "making weekly report or not" on: May 04, 2018, 09:32:29 PM
bounties without every week report collected on bountyhive platform and Hotachy bounty manager!
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1103907
Manager irfanpak without reports. irfan using a practical bounty portal.
I see managers getting lazy and daring to replace human jobs with robots.
Isnt a surprising thing because sooner or later people would really find out new things which would really be beneficial into its job which would really give the convenience without doing much work because of automation. They are not lazy but somehow they do able to make their jobs faster due to that bounty portal. It isnt really bad as long report accumulated are on precise numbers. They do just work smart.

These things are depending on bounty manager it self and same as mentioned above there are bounty programs which doesnt really require weekly reports.
4733  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Cryptocurrency market to suffer from strong correction on: May 04, 2018, 09:08:30 PM
This is just a FUD alert.

This is nothing new and has hidden agenda like those news last year same as Jamie Dimon's claim of bitcoin being a fraud.

It's obvious that banks are suffering with crypto's now so they are trying to pull it down by making these misleading articles.
What we should expect? Same as you said these things or Fuds isnt new anymore into this cryptomarket.Everyone do really like on crypto to go down specially banking sector and they do make fuds to create panic but as they know we arent really shakin of with those words. We have passed how many tremendous corrections but still we do able to survive it.If you cant hold on on the volatility then crypto investment isnt really for you.
4734  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Existing coins or ICOs? Where will you invest? on: May 03, 2018, 11:39:15 PM
Which one will you prefer or best to invest? Coins with high rates like bitcoin, BCH, ETH and etc or coins with cheap rated below $1 or in ICO token?

I find its worth investing 70 percent of my capital into ICOs which do have good projects and good teams as well. And invest the rest 30 percentage in top listed coins which are high in rates.

What will you advice?
Same step. Always diversify out your money so that if these options are on your mind then you can just simply choose both since you do have the money to spend on and besides you can allocate percentage between two things. Just do the stuffs basing on what you believe and what you learn. Potential big profits on shorterm periods would happen on ICO but when it comes to assurance since its already listed on exchangers then would go into traditional top coins.
4735  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Buterin Will Soon Distribute the Ethereum Network on: May 03, 2018, 11:06:38 PM
Looks like Ripple development team will introduce it's own smart contract system called Codius.
That system will give Ripple (XRP) Ethereum-like functionality, providing users smart contracts secured by the Ripple blockchain.
Now XRP seriously targeting to take Ethereum's place.

ripple can not be compared to decentralised trustless projects.
I dont know why people do still pursue to replace ETH into its current place specially mentioning about Ripple. Quite interesting that ETH would have its sharding which we can presume network would even more better as of the current state and as mentioned above it might not happen on this year or on next year which means it would still takes time but good to know this news after all.
4736  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Do you see this one coming? on: May 03, 2018, 09:52:07 PM
I do believe it is going to happen in this month as we come closer to the date of consensus meet and moreover, there is no bad news or FUD  around at the moment for the crypto market, so I don't see anything holding bulls back to come up and ride the bitcoin upward. May month is going to be good overall for the crypto.
I do observed the same way or the entire community do really have those views on where there would be no news where it would hold back the bulls. Accumulation period is over and now its time for change trend. We are just starting up for this month and we do see significant movement into bitcoins price itself.Over all cap is on $454,491,653,038 and gradually increasing. Sooner or later we would hit up $500B once again or even heading again on $800B but same as being said it would really takes time and wont be in a rush.
4737  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: VERY VERY SLOW WITHDRAWAL PROCESSING TIME WITH DICECOIN.IO on: May 03, 2018, 09:17:05 PM
Hello Prestigious Bitcoin Community,
I thank you all for your concern and advice.

I have placed this withdrawal request now for more than 48 hours from my account with DICECOIN.IO it has not been paid out, still showing"PENDING MANUAL REVIEW"and according to their terms of service regarding "HUGE WITHDRAWAL"above 4BTC which can take up to 48 hours should not affect me because my withdrawal is less than 4BTC which according to their terms of service is automatically paid out.
NOW I DON'T KNOW WHAT IS REALLY HAPPENING TO MY COINS WITH DICECOIN.IO
THANKS ALL!
So sad to know up thats still pending as we have said earlier on most people do said here those indications above might really be the current situation of the site which you would really be potentially wont get those funds back due to owner or the site itself doesnt really have any updates where it means theres no chance for it to be confirmed or withdrawn. You shouldnt expect too much for it to go though because it would really just give you stress as the day goes by.
4738  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: PayPal CEO said bitcoin SCAM ! on: May 03, 2018, 08:36:46 PM
no one wants to see bitcoin will go forward unless we . Grin
Specially to those who do see that it is a big competition into its service they would normally have the negative impressions on the very first place on bitcoin. They do foresaw if this thing would go forward their company would be mainly affected yet people would really recognized that it would really be much better alternative than on Paypal itself which means it would really affect their revenues and now they are saying negative things which isnt really surprising at all.
4739  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Holding habit on: May 03, 2018, 08:14:18 PM
This is a call to all bounty hunters to refrain from the dumping habits they are known for. Can bounty hunters cultivate good holding habit and stop dumping their tokens immediately after distribution?
Why do bounty hunters dump tokens?

Why do bounty hunters dump tokens?

That is simply have the reason on securing out profits too without minding too much if the coins would potentially rise up even more or not as long they do already made money then it doesnt really matter at all.Even myself do have such habit on where i dont usually hold up for too long on all coins that i gained from bounty. There might be some considerations for some tokens but depending on how good it is.
4740  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Holding BTC vs Day trading or short term trading. on: May 02, 2018, 10:53:51 PM
So I have been in crypto for a while now, February precisely, and regrettably I wish I had never dabbled into day trading or short term trading. I have been burnt a lot trying to play the game of trading. Often times I end up buy too high thereby becoming a bagholder, and when I finally sell, it's at a loss.
So I can't help but wish I had just held on to my BTC. Would have been grinning from ear to ear today.  #Lessonlearned

I would prefer holding mate. It's the passive approach and as much as you can earn more by day trading. It is also so much more risky compared to holding that not everyone is fit to pursue that kind of venture. It may be easy to do on paper, but there are so many considerations one must take before being settled and a pro in trading. So, for me, who can't spend much time to learn all that, I just stick to the safer venture and that is holding.
This is actually true which you would really need up to learn lots of things into trading before you would able to suit out yourself on doing day or active trading. Some people might done it but it isnt really easy.Risk factor is high and they do already aware on that one and they do embrace the possibilities on losing big money on short timeframe.I guess the thing that boost up their dedication is on the reward given which is really decent compared on just holding bitcoin alone.
