Not bad! Very audible and on point. Thanks for the share.

What do you think this kind of attack effects to the Blockchain? This is probably not an attack but perhaps an exchange taking advantage of low cost tx consolidation at 1sat.

Roundup = Glyphosate?
I don't know what the hell you are talking about but... maybe you can be of some use here.
Do you know what I could use to kill a palm tree that is too close (almost touching already) to my perimeter wall and I need to kill it before the trunk breaks it? I have thought about drilling some holes in the trunk and filling it either with hydrocloridic acid or glyphosate. Would that be enough? Anything else more appropriate?
P.S.: And no, I can't cut it without risking it damage the wall during the fall nor am willing to pay the expensive bill for contracting the procedure. I just need it to dry and stop growing.
I've stopped a few things from growing by watering the roots with petrol. don't know how appropriate or safe this is for your needs but it works. I know lighting it on fire sounds logical but don't, trust me. Let the roots soak in that and it's game over, combined with your hole drilling and acid tests, this tree will be a tinder box fire hazard in no time!

Of all the things I've owned, none have taken as much attention as BTC
Hey - am not a merit source Icygreen - but I do have a few saved up for special occasions. Just popped you some for the wonderfully crafted patches you kindly sent, hopefully you wil soon not only have the best hat on the WO, but legendary status, too... Respect. Likewise appreciated, thanks bro! Its been fun strutting around the boards with a pocket full of merit lately, means more that they are earned for sure Anyhow, there aren't many around me IRL that would appreciate the patches and I thought this would be some way I could creatively contribute. I still have some for gorilla style taggings around the cities. The machine must be having her mercury retrograde this week with some errors so I'm backing off and putting her away. Thanks to everyone else who've put up with Icygreen's knitting corner. #nohomo

Yeah, I kind of wish I wasn’t so obsessed with it & this damn place but then again the profits (unrealised profits really, I haven’t sold) I’m sitting on are insane & I really had no chance of ever seeing that kind of money in my life until probably inheritance age. As long as passive income is reliable, I suppose hodl isn't so hard. You threw down a nice chunk not long ago from inheritance iirc. I haven't realized lifestyle change opportunities yet and expect arriving there likely won't be easy. Balls to the wall hodl #nohomo

Last time I started to be worried and depressed we rallied from the bottom. Not sure if I feel depressed enough already... but it's not that far.
On the other hand I still think we are somewhat ahead on price schedule and that's probably the reason I am not so much worried.
As soon as I feel like the sky is gonna fall onto my head I will let you guys know so you can act accordingly. DYOR though.
I am starting to think we need one final capitulation event (which doesn't mean a lower bottom) before the halving rally. We will see.
HODL.
Somebody just needs to give away 50 BTC for Kryptonianus, who speaks in plural of himself (like an emperor). Everything will be fine after! Please don't invoke that clown. It was funny the first few times, but not anymore. And please no more escrow offers either ....snip.... Well now that this scammer is around again, was listening to some podcasts on YT and autoplay regurgitated a recent one between Richard Heart and John McAffee. Before my ears start to bleed, I found it very interesting that RH thinks Bitcoin's price will not rise without a strong advertising team. Sound familiar?

Core it taking its sweet time. Day 6 and 54% done.
usual advice applies: - Put the /.bitcoin/chainstate folder on your fastest available disk (/chainstate is ~ 2-3GB during sync), add a symlink to it inside /.bitcoin folder
- Increase dbcache setting in your bitcoin.conf file (or as a cmd parameter to bitcoin executable) to a healthy proportion of available RAM
- If you're using a disk with Linux filesystems (ext3 or 4, btrfs etc), when you mount <IcyGreens_disk_name> <IcyGreens_mountpoint>, slip in -o noatime, noreltime as an option (check man mount for full details)
so if you have e.g. 8GB RAM, smash dbcache up to 2000MB or even 4000MB. 16GB RAM, put it up to 8000MB. Big speed increases. Also, Bitcoin Core 0.19.0.1 has improved code for syncing, translating to a ~ 5-10% speed increase (depends on how big dbcache is set). 0.19.0.1 will be out before the end of the week (probably) Thanks for your thoughtful response. I'm sorry, maybe I should've been more clear, I've got about 2 days experience so far with terminal on the RP and I'm afraid that much of what you've written has gone over my head. I'm only now starting to comprehend how core downloads and syncs with the network. 59%.....

Yes . The UK Royal family had him executed
It's scary to me how no-one is truly safe on this planet. At any time. Even with the systems of control we've put in place for ourselves. A crying shame, in-fact, that we live in society's current state. The louder you are, the larger a target you become, the quieter you are, the more complicit you become. The trick is in finding the balance. Money is speech and Bitcoin is a mouthpiece.

Core it taking its sweet time. Day 6 and 54% done.
I'm downloading/syncing core to an external HD.
Question: Can I stop core, remove the hard drive and continue the sync/download on another machine?

For many, understanding Bitcoin requires a shift in consciousness or at least fundamental values. Most have their value understandings hardwired for survival. Explaining Bitcoin is difficult because it challenges a person's beliefs and suggests change. For me, explaining BTC to someone usually backfires to show myself how little I actually understand but forces me to learn to deliver better and more concise information. The planet is experiencing the "Hundredth Monkey Effect "now with Bitcoin. The beauty of it is, Bitcoin can still be something different for each person today. It won't be long before a basic understanding is common and accepted.

I suppose it depends on how the electric is generated. Bitcoin does something unique with energy that legacy finance and even gold failed at. It makes a public and accurate transfer of value based on electricity/energy. Laws of thermodynamics say energy is neither created nor destroyed but transformed. Bitcoin is in essence a numerical and secure account of energy.
By comparison, the energy that goes into making banks, vaults, armored vehicles, security systems, personnel, and not to forget the wars and poverty legacy finance enables, it becomes clear that Bitcoin is a superior choice!
Edit: I've heard it estimated that BTC energy consumption worldwide is about the same amount as USA Christmas light decorations.

Bitcoin also seen as impossible or fantastical, here you can see its true lineage and just how disruptive it will be. Better than we imagine today! This 1967 educational film strip was deemed “impossible” and “fantastical” by many observers at the time. With the input from scientists at Bell Labs it painted a future of 2020. It predicted elements of the technologies precisely. From e-commerce to social networks—in 1967 https://twitter.com/BrianRoemmele/status/1192635726648578050
