The top altcoins are acting the same way so you might just be buying the top ones just to be safe even if it means holding it for long term. Pump and dump scams involve two groups of people. First, there are the players who artificially increase the price of a coin by promoting or endorsing it. While the modus operandi has changed, pump and dump schemes are alive and kicking in the altcoin market due to its unregulated nature.
Today they can just do it using the exchange by biding high price while the number of tokens demanded is just too small. It doesn't need to have hundreds of USD to do it. They can even use the bots and that makes it easy for them to make money out of it. |

I am using metamask chome extension which I have import my MEW wallet to it using the privatekey and whenever I login to this metamask chome extension, the wallet is also connected. Does it mean I'm risking my funds?

Was also disappointed to see my USDT is just sitting on my account waiting for the correction to happen but it just continues to go north. I use to hear users who analyzed the market that it can't sustain that long and when RSI tells the market that its overbought, it's got to go down. And then the thought also that I'm still a newbie in analyzing charts made me think I'm also wrong. Not using as such in deciding the trades or investment, though it can happen that some correction can take place, but since it will affect more of daily traders/speculators who go long or short in futures etc. For a long-term investor who invest and keep it would not affect much only thing on fall gets an opportunity to buy more.
An opportunity to buy more is actually what some of us are looking after. If the price ain't dumping, the opportunity to earn more USD passed as well. |

Regret not listening to someone when he said Synthetix was rising it quickly. I remember him creating a threat for it but I ignore that signal. After few mknths the token is worth $2 each, this is then I decide to get in before the prices shoot to the moon.
The project is really worth watching and I think they can tokenize projects even from the stock market as well. Aave as far as I know has this type of plan in their roadmap. Both SNX and Aave will likely among the defi projects that will have higher value.

There are vaccines that are in the last phase of its trial and I guess there will be no problem already. The sooner we get vaccines the sooner we can get back to recover the economy.

PayPal didn't cause that, the reason why it happened is that big price movements cause a lot of trading activity, which means people make more transactions to exchanges, and more transactions means more competition for block space, so higher fees. But what I understand about crypto market is that some news help the market in gaining more traffic and with crypto lover long wait for giant payment company like Paypal to integrate Bitcoin which now happen, we cant say paypal is not one of the reason behind the transaction congestion. Paypal is one of the reasons why it's going up, no doubt about it. It made it easy for paypal users to get into crypto market. Like they said LN is a solution for the rise of the transaction fees and shifting to an altcoin could also be a solution. One thing that is also making users move away to BTC is the withdrawal fee from exchanges. It won't really be high if you look at it as satoshis but people normally look at the value in USD. |

Yes. He manually inputs some numbers in the gas because metamask wasn't adding gas for him. I wonder how that happens, maybe his metamask isn't updated because afaik metamask automatically provides options whether he wants the transaction to be prioritized which costs less than $2. He claimed that it destroyed his life lol, I'm not so sure about that. There are certainly thousands to millions of people that don't have $9500 worth of ETH. He must have more in BTC. |

I hnow elrond was change the name of token from erd to egld, and redenomination of 1000 ERD:1 eGLD.. But what i asked was why HitBTC shut down deposit and withdrawal for so long (3 months!!) ,if they dont whant to make the swap to egld, at least open the withdrawal. We can't do something with that if they have shut the withdrawals for that long. There were exchanges that are acting like that for the sake of those upgrades and just wanted to make sure that everything goes well before they open it. But in this case of Hitbtc, we can't remove the doubt that they're acting incorrect because of those complains that we always hear from their users. If they won't read this thread of theirs, contact the support and ask them why it's taking that long. They are not reading the chatbox either, I just submitted a ticket to them earlier today. Lots of complains to this exchange yet they continue to have traders in hitbtc. They are still collecting trading fees from the pairs which we can't even withdraw. There are GRIN and XMR I have that I was forced to convert to BTC because they don't allow these coins to be withdrawn anymore. |

Nice list, i'll stick on Yearn and curve. i liked both DeFi projects. only about 2 weeks ago the curve has just reached ATH, and I think there are many more to come with curves and also yearn finance, maybe for alternative uniswap is also quite good
I think these are the most popular, but I do see DeFi changing drastically. So maybe there will be new coins in the future in this space. Don't get me wrong. 99% of DeFi projects are scams, but I think decentralized finance could pivot and become something that can change the financial industry eventually. I don't think we've seen it all in DeFi. The ones we thought are legit projects could also turn into a scam. We have yet not know when their developers are going to snap but while we are already investing in the projects, we might as well strike while the iron is hot. Among the list, its Yearn Finance that I don't trust. Probably because I just wake up and it's already more than the price of what anyone will expect. I have the opinion that a second lockdown in Europe will not destroy the economy, The government in Europe should be better prepared

There is no way to stop them until everyone who goes into DEX knows what they are doing and are aware of the risk that any project can become a scam. If they aren't aware of what they are doing, they better just stick on CEX because there is support in those platforms and less risk there. I guess spreading the information on how to use DEX and swapping platforms will make a newbie well equipped. You can just copy another projects name with a new token and list it on uniswap or other dex, newbies that come around to buy coin will eventually get caught in the trap, they will buy the fake coin thinking it's the original, this freedom that DEX gives will be its down fall.

It is not a good idea to use too many technical indicators because, by analysis, they will cause paralysis. Each trader will have a set of favorite indicators of their own, so there is no perfect combo.
For the sake of simplicity, it is a good idea for most people to use candlestick charts with indicators for RSI and MACD. The Portion of volume is best viewed separately from the price chart, as an overly makes the chart a bit more difficult to evaluate.
I think in most cases that's true and you should use 2-3 indicators at most, most of the indicators are lagging indicators which makes them less than useless anyways and they only will distract you and make you doubt your trade decisions that you made looking at more proper indicators like RSI, I wouldn't suggest MACD though as it can be way too inaccurate at times and instead of that you can use WaveTrend which has a bit more accuracy since I tested them both myself alongside of each other. It's because if you only have a free account on tradingview, you are only limited to 3 indicators on your chart. Mostly RSI is being used. I also use it to identify when to buy a token in the weekly chart and then swinging there whenever there is a chance of overbought and oversold. I hate MACD for that. I leave it to the pro but fibo is my next fav to check for support and resistance. I even not use the MAs for this but the 200MA is good to have at least. |
