1141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: You think that governments might adopt cryptocurrencies to replace fiat currency on: January 28, 2020, 04:15:46 PM
No it's not going to happen since government hate the decentralized ability in many coins in crypto space today, it's one of the main reasons Central Banks are building their very own digital currencies but i bet people love making money which is why crypto coins will be more favourable over all
I don't think government hate cryptocurrency because there are already a lot of countries who accepts crypto like US, UK, japan, Australia, etc. The only reason why the government will not adopt cryptocurrency to replace fiat is they will support fiat currency no matter what because even it is not profitable, it is the material thing that we use in exchange for goods and services.

There are just countries that officials aren't corrupt and it could be where digital fiat that is using blockchain will be adopted. One country adopting this cryptocurrency will lead to another til all will also be adopting cryptocurrencies. Today there are number of countries who are adopting crypto and IRAN had just started trying.

Replacing fiat may take years and years, we are just in the early phase of adoption so we are yet not seeing where all these will move forward. But the countries that first bann BTC are now adjusting and had been unbanning it.
1142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Remove the bad influencer from your life! on: January 28, 2020, 03:25:49 PM

You mean this tweet? https://twitter.com/cz_binance/status/1222029423039348736

Yes we can all related to that tweet but those people who says fuds are the ones who are also making the market better when weak hands dumps the coins they have for cheap price. This will allow real people who believes BTC's potential. You cant really expect people to say things that you will always agree.
1143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why are exchanges still listing shitcoins? on: January 28, 2020, 09:27:21 AM
Many exchange still listing with shit coin because they got higher payment fees each shit coin listed on their market, is not free when have any coin want listed with several exchange market, why many exchange listing with many shit coin because they only think with how much profit get from shit coin.

Its these high listing fee that exchanges can't refuse the shitcoins team for wanting their coins to be listed. I tried looking for TSL information but ithe team didn't posted an ANN thread.  Interesting because its price is worth $0.70 (0.00007885 BTC) to which today had just been pumped to 392.50%. I guess OP noticed it that made him created this thread.
1144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: January end , can BTCtouch 9k? on: January 28, 2020, 08:13:41 AM
And we are already touching 9k. Looks like a lot of people really wanted to see 9k again before the month ends. Now the question is,,, with 3 more days to go can we maintain 9k? Or can we even see 10k maybe? I prefer to just stabilize and keep at above 9k until 1 Feb. If we go to 10k it's going to pullback again I think.

Its hanging on there. Its crawling up so slow and patience are running dry even when it continuously heading upwards. The next resistance is the $9500 which will also take weeks again of creeping up.  I looks like the manipulators had planned its way up by breaking resistance level at $500 for each climb, its not just what I notice but I can see this in fibonacci.
1145  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC could reach 6 figures (rational explanation) on: January 28, 2020, 06:19:04 AM

50 years later if BTC still lives, it may be 6 figures. I'd be long buried by that time. But the moment the price hit 6 figures, it will eventually plunge because most of us are just going to take profit til the market recovers again. The bear market will take place for long years again. I really do hope 6 figures will come to realize, I wanna buy myself a helicopter too like Kobe Bryant.
1146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The World’s Most Crypto-friendly Countries on: January 27, 2020, 05:18:16 PM
Maybe add Philippines because here in my country many people start to gaining knowledge about cryptocurrency especially in bitcoin,  and also many crypto currency exchange are developing here in my country.

And aside from that we have Bitcoin Atm,  and also some stores here already accepting bitcoin as a alternative payment.
Although it's becoming crypto friendly because BSP registered more crypto exchanges and Security and Exchange Commission is finalizing crypto guidelines. For me, still not, because some banks like BDO still not familiar in crypto or they are not comfortable if your funds came from crypto. Still a long way before you can add or cashout without thinking of possibilities that you will be ask about crypto and feel uncomfortably. Some are just forcing theirselves to become dishonest on where the funds came from so they can avoid such possible scenarios. I guessed, you've heard the one in our country where in he is ask to pull out all of his money in the bank because the funds came from crypto.

Here is the link I found in the Philippines local forum https://www.manilatimes.net/2020/01/21/business/business-top/sec-readies-rules-for-cryptocurrencies/676170/?fbclid=IwAR0u3YB91gPFFhZ41nYvW2a6KZotHv1_Y3mqYuWgoAgbyDzjVnEyCGSr_K8

It usually is a positive sign when SEC sets rules for crypto but its also not good for someone who had a lot of crypto. I am from Philippines and coins.ph is just one good source of information for SEC to scrutinize. Philippines could be a crypto-friendly country but there might not be an escape for rich traders to pay huge taxes.

1147  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Government Taxing Bitcoin? Here's the Answer on: January 27, 2020, 04:13:38 PM
As long as you're holding bitcoin on your wallet then it can't be taxed, here in our country if you use local exchange and do trade or withdrawal then those transactions will be taxed. But this could be different if you use outside exchange the amount of tax will be taxed based on the regulation of the country where that exchange is running. I personally don't have any issue with taxing, it's good for supporting your country.

This is also the case in my country and this is why it makes sense for IMF to ask our government a data of cryptocurrency users and I mean who else will they ask for these information. Although many of us will take it a breach of contract to us users, its going to be easy for IMF and any financial authorities to watch out for people who engage in crypto.

Its really not easy to maintain a privacy when in all of the websites you got into will ask for KYC documents. And these KYC documents will allow them to check out backgrounds and financial status.
1148  Economy / Services / Re: [For hire] Bounty hunter on: January 27, 2020, 02:46:29 PM

He had been looking for person who will dox someone for him but the guy had been selling Localbitcoin account which you might be cautious about the user.

Also interested for real life physical scammers (I have names, numbers and bank account information)

If he had the name, phone number and bank account info, what else do you want from the person, you can basically look for his activity online.
1149  Economy / Economics / Re: Centralized exchanges have become the banks of the cryptocurrency world on: January 27, 2020, 01:10:37 PM
Its making the industry worse. Asking 50% of the premined tokens just to get listed is really not acceptable but to some desperate teams wanting to make their investors happy would probably just give it to the exchange. Its no wonder now that more exchanges are created since 2017 up to today since its listing-to-coins business.

Now that centralize exchanges are pushing all to the edge, its really a good time to make Dex work for us all. If there are just more users concerned to privacy, we could have been giving more volume to trading in dex.
1150  Economy / Services / Re: Yobit.net signature campaign on: January 26, 2020, 06:54:40 PM
They have been doing campaigns in the past that lasted for years, this one only lasted for months. If there is the best time to promote and keep Yobit visibility in bitcointalk where traffic reaches up to millions, its right now.  Not a good idea to end the campaign.

Well.. every campaign has an end isn't it? You can't have an unlimited budget for these campaigns. It is all about attracting and retaining clients. We should understand that after a while the traffic & exposure they get from Bitcointalk is matured and doesn't cover the expenses(campaign rewards). Curious about how their proprietary forum will "behave" and what role/influence they're going to create in the crypto sphere.

They are going to be doing it on cryptotalk.org I'm not really sure if the forum is ready. There isn't much discussions there, its not getting organic hits from people searching on the internet. The forum will start getting more users in crypto though.

1151  Economy / Speculation / Re: 2020 price predictions on: January 26, 2020, 06:02:59 PM

2 years later even if their speculation didn't hit exactly how much they predicted it, they will still be in crypto saying I told you so and will once again predict some numbers. We're always hopeful though so even if Mati Greenspan ridiculously speculate $1 million, its going to be welcomed because people believe that tomorrow BTC will have a higher price.
1152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Which Crypto Should I Invest In 2020 ? on: January 26, 2020, 04:59:23 PM

If you were interested to the token because of their dapps, you should be looking to the TRX since its where TRX is abundant and its among the options you gave. But there are more to EOS than that of TRX. We aren't however sure which way TRX would go, though it had maintained its position being a top coin, its price isn't spiking significantly. ETH I guess had maintained its 2nd rank and had also raise its price noticeably.
1153  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Held a bitcoin seminar today on: January 26, 2020, 04:07:43 PM

Seminars are good way to make contacts with people who has same interest. Good job.
I'd also like to join some seminars but will not be the speaker. I'd just be joining and assisting what I may be able to help a local community.
There is a small group of enthusiast within my town who regularly gather around for some small talks to crypto enthusiast but I'm not sure if they were also here in the forum.

1154  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Altcoins Bounty Hunters are almost alone! on: January 26, 2020, 02:28:29 PM
That is because bounty campaigns are not moderated but there are scam accusation threads out there that I'm sure projects are investigated by those who kept watching bounty campaign scams, you need to check out those threads every now and then. They are not checking the bounty campaigns that pays tokens because generally they considered it scam unless they pay BTC.
1155  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Binance Chain or Binance DEX hype is gone! on: January 26, 2020, 01:38:49 PM
The hype os gone but the DEX still is there. There is not much volume to the projects that got listed, I use to send my tokens there but it just divided the supply of the tokens of ERC and then there are BEP. Many of the teams were lured to pay the exchange with BNB tokens just to get listed but it ended useless still. Anyway its still there, maybe CZ can find a way for it to be a busy exchange.
1156  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin will NOT surpass traditional methods of payment. Convince me. on: January 25, 2020, 07:00:40 PM
It will not surpass when countries are going to be developing their own digital fiat but the use of crypto will increase over time.

If its worth attacking using the 51%, they've probably done so already. But they did not. I'm sure with the number of businesses going to be affected by BTC, they'd do all they got to bring it down. The problem with this one is that they will have to bring down every coins that is brought to their attention.
1157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Myetherwallet(Mew) Site: Previous version is better than current version ? on: January 25, 2020, 06:12:28 PM

I also hate the new version. I won't even login to my account anymore. I haven't done so for some of my accounts where I have more altcoins there. I notice we now have to give the privatekey instead while during that time we can only put our password and the keystore file and then you can already the coins.  Also I hate they they load all the ERC instead of just the only coins inside your wallet.
1158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Selling milk tea for Bitcoin on: January 25, 2020, 03:53:36 PM

Selling a product like OP's milktea is somewat like my idea as well. But I'd need to buy first bug truck to load my products and visit an blockchain events to sell my products to crypto users. This is because I specifically pick the potential clients I have which are the bitcoin and crypto users alone. I'd be producing belt buckles, prying pans and can openers with BTC and cypto logos to them. I designed most of them and my brother will help me produce it on his metal shop.
1159  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Will Skyrocket to $100,000 in 24 Months on: January 25, 2020, 03:11:16 PM
Well we all want our money to grow that big and so the reason we believe the bold predictions of the popular bitcoin traders. But with the way we get to promote it right now, it may really take a lot of years before we finally see things going that way. If its hyped today, a lot will dump even after dumping which I'm starting to believe the bulls will come by 2022.
1160  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: 8 of the best Binance alternatives on: January 24, 2020, 11:27:29 PM
Bittrex and Poloniex, a lot of memories with this exchange especially in 2017, the first time I learned trading using this exchange. Then Binance began to dominate. We must also adjust to maximize the take profit opportunities. Besides these three exchanges, I often use Kucoin and Okex. Bounty projects that can penetrate these exchanges usually have good potential and can form a good market capacity. If not in an emergency, then never bet your funds on a less trusted exchange, your funds could be stuck or taken away by fraudsters.
I’m still using poloniex and so far it is still good but since Binance becomes more active people shift on this exchange easily. I’m with Okex as well and this become my second home as a trader aside from Binance. I agree that those new projects who are able to list on the top exchanges usually succeed on their goals, new projects should aim for this.

Bittrex still is one of the best exchanges I have tried, they do have a new one which is for the asean market. The new exchange with native coins are making bittrex not so attractive anymore but its still feels good to have them around. They are the old ones that didn't scam by exiting or stage their exchange being hacked.
