1261  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ex Barclays exec starts fiat/Bitcoin bank. on: January 02, 2020, 08:18:36 PM
I do not know if we bitcoin enthusiasts are to be excited about this news, I don't really think bitcoin was ever designed to be kept or saved in a bank, that a is centralized system imo, we are supposed to be in total control of our funds, that is why we use a bitcoin wallet and not a bank.

They are excited. They are not going to use it though.

These people are avoiding KYC to exchanges so its obvious they will also not going to use this Ziglu bank. They'd be happy to freeze the coins you have if you don't submit KYC and this is the scariest time of crypto bcause I think they are all up to collecting which coin belongs to these banks who tries to stop decentralization.
1262  Economy / Economics / Re: Say Goodbye to Banking as We Know It on: January 02, 2020, 07:09:50 PM
Its convenient for China to shift to blockchain and lead to set a new ground because they are rising up and the world now seem to be relying on them due to the money they have. And I guess the east will now have a big brother.

In my opinion Bitcoin would always have an edge over this Chinese digital currency, and any other currency which is going to be launched. Apart from it's decentralization, Bitcoin is also borderless, hence, I can transfer money from anywhere in my country to anyone in the world and at anytime. If different countries create their own blockchain, which would take a while, it would take a longer while to connect the entire nations through a general (centralized) currency,
Also, fiat currencies can be digitalized, but that doesn't make it a 'crypto' currency, it doesn't offer anonymity and would just be another form of mobile banking.

On this news: It would not have much effect on the global cryptocurrency economy, as it's merely speculation at this point.

They are not interested to cryptocurency economy, its about their national economy. Countries will have to acquire digital yuan in order to make transactions to China's economy.
1263  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Thought I got scammed but now what? on: January 02, 2020, 03:56:30 PM

What is there to activate?

Yes. You are once again lured to another scam if you are to send an amount of BTCto activate it. You are correct from the beginning you are scammed.
This is why you shouldn't trust it when someone says they can trade for you. Entrusting your money means its lost now and you are going to be okay with it since you already give it away.
1264  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think are the hot topics of crypto in 2019? on: January 02, 2020, 03:08:06 PM
Probably there were trendy topics like the launch of Bakkt. I remembered that the price went downwards instead of upwards that day, but it was like a preparation of bulls to push so after few days of the launch we got a short bull run after that but got exhausted in the end and now we're here in 7k.

And we're stuck to this $7k I guess bakkt has something to do with it too.

ETH2.0 were pretty much discussed and will still be discussed this year as well, some say it will take more months before ETH will finally turn POS. Halving were pretty much talked in every thread specially the speculation when when it will happen this year. There are set of another topics that weren't thoroughly touched like the digital currencies of central banks.
1265  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 2020 will be a material year for crypto. What do you think? on: January 02, 2020, 02:51:12 PM

We'll just need to expect something every year, it keeps the hope to make us all up and not give up. The halving had already made people come back to crypto and I guess the hype is already building up due to this halving. All it needs now is just another push for it. There are already list of things to see this year like the Defi as well.

1266  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: McAfee in Trouble ? on: January 01, 2020, 06:33:11 PM
Bitcoin Must Gain 13,800% in 2020 to Stop John McAfee Eating His P****s like promised  Cheesy i can't wait to see the end result already, you can click on this link for full news

https://cointelegraph.com/news/bitcoin-must-gain-13-800-in-2020-to-stop-john-mcafee-eating-his-words/amp

McAfee is just an ultra bullish person in crypto world. It will better for everyone if they stop listening to his series of advice because these make no sense at all! I agree that McAfee is one of the known names in the crypto world and he is a very strong supporter of cryptos. But he has just lost his credibility through his useless speculations which is definitely not based on ground realities! Just avoid his speculations!

It was the time when he supported an altcoin he shills and tragically end by massive dumping which made people upset about his exaggerated speculations. He wouldn't really eat a dick just because he loses this speculation, we all know he said it to win the support of the bullish traders. If its not someone like Mcafee who said it will be $1M by 2021, not any crypto news will ever put it on the news but its him which made it something worth spreading through crypto websites.
1267  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Best private investigator specializing in Cryptocurrency theft? on: January 01, 2020, 03:23:25 PM
It’s only through a very good private investigator who specialized in recovering money and scam cases that can do this. I got scammed through a dating site, looked for different ways to get back my money both online, contacted most private investigators through their website online only to find out they weren’t specialized in recovering money until I came across ‘Adrian Gonzalez’ on quora. I had to sign up to view his profile and contacted him about my case. He is the only one who was able to recover my money, others I contacted couldn’t at all. I will advise anyone who has same issue with me to reach out to him for help. I wouldn’t want to call out the names of the ones I reached out to and wasn’t able to do nothing. Adrian Gonzalez is the best for recovering scammed money.

There's the name. It might have been too late though OP must have move on after losing $40k.

He could have realized it not worth looking for the person who hacked his account because its all gone now and can't be recovered. Its was 7 months ago form the time he was hacked, OP must have invested to another coin by now or have once again bought some BTC.
1268  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Wrong accused projects on: January 01, 2020, 03:10:01 PM

There were projects in the past that were accused, they proved to be not but they were not scam. This isn't yet final.
We can not say they are successful now just because they have launched their product already, these projects can still end scam one day when the team can't release a new roadmap for them to achieve next. These projects needs a continuing dedication to serve for the new investors coming into the project and serve the users of the future.

1269  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Central bank coins vs crypto space coins on: December 30, 2019, 05:45:02 PM
Yes, regulation similar to cash currency will also apply to it. However, it wil become very transparent to the government and they will be able to monitor every single transaction that happens using e-currency. So the scope of cryptos are not reducing. People who wants to use cryptos as a currency or as an investment, will continue to do so!

I guess this still going to be used for surveillance and we will have to submit our data when we are going to be using it.  There wouldn't be a choice though if your country will start to impose a new law for this digital currency to effectively be accepted by merchants and to people.

There might not be a chance for those who hasn't yet submit to KYC for the first time to exchange to hide. If they own a digital currency issues by central bank and then bought BTC on exchange he will be then traced.
1270  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Justin Sun dump 33 billion TRX on New Year's Day? on: December 30, 2019, 03:43:31 PM
I am sure the Tron team will have better plans to do after 33 billion unlock Tron coins, I think we have to wait for official news about that from the Tron team maybe they will give after unlocking Tron coin and my suggestion to Tron coins holders do not sell your coins in panic for any unofficial news regarding this.

Yes their plan is to dump. You can always think of something else but why unlocking these funds if it won't be put to use and this is when you see how practical it can be for them to dump than hold it. One possibility is they will distribute it to the dapps developer who does it with TRON for cheaper price which will still end up dumped. Its just two days left but Sun hasn't announced anything yet.

1. Let people believe 33b will be dumped
2. Buy a lot of TRX
3. Make the announcement of the announcement that 33b TRX will be burned

Well know see if it happens.  An investors can always buy back if the team will burn this 33B TRX, they may be able to accumulate TRX after buying back because the price will still dip. Lucky are the ones who dumped last few weeks, few more days later it may not just be 180satoshis but just 80sats. This is cheap enough to double your bag if you truly see this coin going to go up.

1272  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Indicator.vip - Smart Binance Indicators on: December 30, 2019, 03:02:45 PM
-snip

we will add the way to add our indicator in TradingView for beginner and will inform you soon.

An instructions in an article on how to add would be fine but do you mean your team will be the one adding it to our tradingview account?

What do i need to give to you for free trial? Is my email enough? Btw you should really put prices in here too, i now have to dig then trough your website.

I'd also like to know if you are open to this because free for a month would give us a kick on whether we can really make a good profit out of it. And improvement of at least 8/10 tradings is going to give us something to hope for.
1273  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Indicator.vip - Smart Binance Indicators on: December 29, 2019, 07:25:44 PM
I am happy to know about the discussion of Indicators. but I have never used your Indicator and I would like to ask you a few things related to the Indicator.

First: I want to help you display the picture.
Second: I want to ask, you said "Smart Binance Indicators" after I tried to apply your Indicator, I did not find it on the Binance chart, can you explain?
Third: I tried to apply the Indicator to the Tradingview chart. I found it, but it doesn't have a perfect function, can you explain too?

Screenshot of Market Binance:

Screenshot of TradingView:

Can you explain all that to me or to other readers of this thread?
I think you understand it wrong.
the indicators exist in the public library of TradingView.com and you need our authorize to use it.
anyway, you can have a 24 hours free trial
just apply it on our website indicator.vip

All of them are meant for 1H. Among the indicators you created which one works best? Can they all work together say you put the AMA indicator alongside with Extensive for validation?

I've like to see the crossover of this AMA and the plus sign of the Extensive together so it would be more powerful indicator for a month but I'd like to hear some more users proving it worked for them.

Yes 1H is the recommended time and you can use 5m when the coin is pumping.

here is our strategy to use the indicators together.
https://indicator.vip/page/strategies/

I haven't really tried installing an indicator in tradingview myself, all I'm doing is just inserting the indicators that are premade already like the RSI and MacD. We're just editing the parameters of the MAs. I tried searching how to import an indicator to the tradingview platform seem hard to find. Can you tell us how to do it?

1274  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: NYM - Building the next generation of privacy infrastructure on: December 29, 2019, 06:07:43 PM

Hey will this be as secure as Monero but with token capabilities?

This is not a blockchain but a network that users of a blockchain such as monero can use NYM to make their transactions more private.
Think of it as a similar tool as TOR or I2P.

So Monero will be the first to incorporate your layer?

You can understand that we are more concern of the profit to collect when it comes to propositions in the forum and it gets exciting because it another opportunity to invest since you also posted this on the ANN section. Reason behind we ask for whitepaper when this is not a coin nor doing an ICO. If this is going to be with monero then I guess the way to profit from this development is to invest in XMR.

1276  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will Justin Sun dump 33 billion TRX on New Year's Day? on: December 29, 2019, 01:53:30 PM
I'm a TRX holder and would wanna dumped this bag of mine if the tokens are going to be unlocked. With 33B TRX dumped, its not going to have a better price in more than 5 years. Of all shits coming out of Suns mouth, its without having a plan of this 33B TRX that is the shittiest of all. Holders going to be fucked sixways to sunday so dumped now before its price sinks to the bottom to 1 satoshi.
1277  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Can Altcoins do it alone ? on: December 29, 2019, 01:37:07 PM
Altcoin can do it alone because altcoin price always depend with bitcoin, when bitcoin have lower price altcoin keep with lower price and when bitcoin have raise with higher price some time altcoin keep with lower, when altcoin price keep growing up without care about bitcoin on lower or higher price is the time for altcoin can do it alone.

So altcoins CAN do it alone BECAUSE they're always dependent on bitcoin? You totally realize you've just contradicted yourself right?

You want to know what happens when altcoins try to do it alone? That means cutting off Bitcoin completely? Then please refer to Bitcoin SV. They tried for a while and even Bitcoin Cash tried it but eventually, even they need Bitcoin for people to buy them! Complete bollocks about altcoins pretending they can make it alone.

He must have forgot the "T" on "CAN and this is a usual typo for someone who writes fast to point out his view. Like me, his construction of sentences isn't as perfect for English isn't his native tongue. But I can agree an altcoin can't stand without BTC. Just like ERC tokens can't stand alone without ETH while ETH also is dependent to BTC.  IF a token is paired to USD which anyone can buy this token thru credit cards I think it could work on specially if there is really a use case of this token which has demands.
1278  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: MEW Returned Error: The execution failed due to an exception. on: December 28, 2019, 07:11:58 PM
I think this has something to do with the fee. Did you pay the recommended fee(gas)?

Try replacing it with more than and let us see if the transaction will proceed successfully.
If increasing gas price would result to this error then try on decreasing it as it states on here;
https://forum.poa.network/t/getting-error-the-execution-failed-due-to-an-exception-in-sokol-rpc-call-eth-estimategas/1747/3

I have experience the same error a month ago, I kept increasing the gas fee but the error remains. Surprisingly the gas I paid were deducted while the transaction didn't go thru.  I move to a newer browser an updated google chrome and I'm not sure about its relation but my transaction went through. I'm not sure if its related to the token to be sent either but I have to say its not making MEW users easy.
1279  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin cannot be decentralized if the Internet is centralized on: December 28, 2019, 05:14:19 PM

The government nor the big companies controlling the internet as you said such as google and Facebook wouldn't be shutting down the internet just to also shutdown the decentralization of BTC right?

The world are now depended to the inter connecting computers everywhere, the bank rely to internet and they can't afford to shut it a day just to deal with the decentralization of cryptocurrency, its best to just adopt as they can't do anything about it even if its centralized.
1280  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Worsening Lebanese Crisis May Spark Bitcoin Adoption on: December 28, 2019, 03:54:17 PM
I dont know whether to be happy about the countries which get into these type of situations or be sad to see the common man's suffering. Venezuela is a different case as they claim they have the oil to back the cryptocurrency. Lebanese groups may try and bring money into the country and try to work something out.

Not that we are celebrating, we were just discussing how they may be able to get around. The banks in the country are limiting access to USD, what choices do they ave right now. People in the country will find ways and that's something to work out, if BTC works in Venezuela I don't see it not working anywhere else like Lebanon.  Raising taxes and political crisis are just ingredients of economic crisis it affects daily lives of the people.
