1421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Its a gradual process on: November 25, 2019, 04:49:41 PM

Well get there in time, its gradual indeed. Its obvious that banks and government can't stop cryptocrrencies, they are aware it won't go away if they close their eyes. The only things left for them to do is just join the progress of blockchain adoption just like the government of China is doing. Blockchain technology has proven itself to be more useful and secure system that even big companies like facebook wants to use it.
1422  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How does provably fair environment ensure the survival of gambling houses. on: November 25, 2019, 04:16:02 PM
Casinos always win. I don't know how you can measure the provability of it but BTC casinos always claim to have fair provability. The Casino I promote claim to have fair provably, I'm just not sure about its reality since I lose most of the time there. Saying they are fair however makes the gambler think they can win. I guess it can establish trust to people when they mention provably fair on the website.

Quote
There is not even ONE application out there safe enough to generate a Bitcoin Address this is crazy!

This is an extraordinary claim, I guess. "Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence".

And to provide evidence he needs to giveaway coins so people will try to download the developed wallet.  Lips sealed

Its not easy to promote wallet these days since there are just people who are just not open to install new and if the old wallets they have installed aren't broken, there isn't the need to find a new one. They trusted on wallet and they may not trust other wallet anymore, that's the challenge for you OP.

1424  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 30th South East Asian Games on: November 25, 2019, 02:24:47 PM
https://www.channelnewsasia.com/news/asia/sea-games-philippines-apology-12121398

I think this is a mess up for Philippines as being host in the South East Asian Games. Many visitors and early arriving athletes have express their disappointment over the hospitality of the Host Country. Read the articles and me myself as one of the community of the Philippines has totally dissappointed with what happened. I hope President should take action on this faster than the news arrived cause it's really ashamed for those who arrived early and given not a good treatment.

According to Cayetano, they are just humans and they make mistakes, but they already apologies and I don't think its really a big issue at all.
We are hosting an event so its normal to face some problem, and what I like about the media in the Philippines is they keep to reporting negative news instead of the good ones.

I know mate, but they are given ample time to prepare for this and knowing the timeline of the events, these kind of issue shouldn't be taken carelessly. Apologize can be accepted but this incident is probably be remember by the people that got affected.

I'm just bit disappointed with DFA response towards this.

East Timor Team arrived too early for their schedule which is why they have to wait that long and then due to traffic they arrive in their hotel too late as well. The media is making the a big fuzz when this is just too little to post in the news paper that it won't hurt the Philippines, if teams had problems, its suppose to be reported to the organizers. When Philippines goes to Olympics and sea games, Filipino teams bring with them a cook for we don't get use to eat burgers all the time, we are rice eaters.

These issues are being politicize since SEA games is Duterte's achievement again. They don't like Duterte to achieve anything including this build build build program but its very visible to all.

1425  Economy / Exchanges / Re: yobit.net support is not responding. on: November 25, 2019, 01:27:04 PM

10 days ago yobit.net tenet eet I made a shot. BlockChain seems to fail. I have written support many times. but he is not responding. 10 day transfer did not occur. The param has disappeared. Please help if you know the solution way. I'm really a victim.

What you need to do is to login and submit ticket to yobit support. They did respond to my tickets, you make it clear when you write to them. Don't get it wrong, I used google translate so they can understand. You can try that too. Maybe people in cryptotalk.org can help as well, they have been talking to newbies who had experience trouble in the exchange and had helped users.
1426  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Good trading volume doesn't mean a token is good on: November 24, 2019, 05:58:09 PM

Having less volume to the coin's market means you can't a trader can't just sell his coins at once by picking the marketprice. Bombtoken is different, the only exchange that has good volume is the Hotbit. Of course you will stick to hotbit if you are going to concentrate trading to this token. Doing that on DDEX or Switcheo Network will be risky for you.

The total volume right now is just $42,004. Let's say, if you are to dump what you have which is more than $42k worth of bomb tokens, you can't do that. Buying back wold be another struggle for you.
1427  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is there an example for a successful ICO launched on Stellar on: November 24, 2019, 05:25:05 PM

Stellar is one of the platforms that isn't attracting more developers, few of them actually like NEM as well. There were projects developing on their platform but only too few. I don't know if its too difficult to create tokens there. More projects were developed was under Ethereum, TRX and EOS. The waves platform isn't even getting much Dapps and maybe because the programming language is also one that isn't very much easy to use.

Good to know there are few successful ICOs like MOBIUS. Do the projects like MOBIUS, Glitzcoin, PIGZBE and all add value to Stellar?
1428  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Let's stand against Bounty Scammer. on: November 24, 2019, 04:08:45 PM
It is very simple! Don't take part in bounties that don't pay in Bitcoin, Ethereum or another listed coin. In some way the bounty hunters allow the scams to happen. You are satisfied getting paid in a currency that is not listed anywhere and likely never will be.

If more and more bounty hunters refused to take part in non-BTC/ETH paying campaigns those few campaigns that are legit would have no other option but to change their approach and start giving out a legit currency instead of their native one. The bounty industry would in that case either die out completely or you would only have a handful of legit bounties every year that will pay up. Combine that with requesting that the bounties escrow their funds and you have yourself a good deal.

But none of that will ever happen because the majority of bounty participants don't respect themselves and even less the industry. Nothing will change and more scams will happen.

That is one best solution for them to take their project seriously because they are going to be losing money and not the worthless tokens they are going to distribute. Even if they send the allocated bounty tokens to an escrow or to the bounty manager, the tokens are still going to be worthless if they aren't listed it to the market.

Some of them are keeping the hope of the holders but they don't distribute the bounty while the tokens are already traded on horrible exchange. This could be because the market isn't yet improving but it doesn't make sense to list it in the first place or better yet don't ask funds instead.
1429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I think crypto world needs... on: November 24, 2019, 02:44:23 PM
A lot of them are already spamming the forum by posting the news and the idea of the OP at least to make it at least less spammy that mods are not going to take it down. Beincrypto for example is just one crypto new site. It helps us inform about what is going outside the discussions in bitcointalk though. Adoption is a struggle so we need more website that will make viral news for crypto.
1430  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: China vowed to "slash" crypto exchanges, bitcoin prices plummeted. on: November 23, 2019, 07:56:08 PM
why can a country like China trigger a price change that is so contradictory to the year-end forecast?
any movement made by China can always trigger a significant decrease or increase.
sometimes I think whether this is the name of price manipulation to make a profit quickly?

Such news from a crypto enthusiast countries is enough for change of price direction. Coming up with news to go against illegal outfit is a positive news because it means your investment would be safe with the surviving exchanges. This is a kind of regulation for the exchanges there and fake volume will be reduced too. So is a good one and China has population, we are going to expect more increase in price.

Was also asking the same thing but since the time they were producing ASIC devices to mine BTC, it only means more mining farms are benefiting from the industrialized China. Right now we can now consider them like a global leader of the future. They are also the heavy investors in these industry which is why slight changes of the law involving the cruptocurrencies can affect the price of BTC when the Chinese government says something.
1431  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Continues Downfall in Bitcoin Circulation threating traders on: November 23, 2019, 06:38:10 PM

The less coins circulating could also mean most are now just holding.

There were BTC wallets where there were still few thousands of satoshis not enough to be sent since the transaction fee is much higher than the amount inside. I did have such wallet that I just uninstall it, these are wallet I use to gamble and lose everything there. If thousands to millions of us forget the wallets we have which still have about 1k satoshi in there, there will be thousands of BTC lost if we are to add them all.
1432  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Three Million USDC Freshly Minted Likely Another Whale Looking to Buy the Dip on: November 23, 2019, 06:06:22 PM
Its going to be used to accumulate BTC by the time less BTC is going to circulate in the market, I guess then you can expect the price to at least spike and possibley breakout. I'm not sure how the treasury will assure the public that the minted USDC has real reserved USD because to some people that''s just easy token pegged to USD worth $3M out of thin air.
1433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Preparing for a recession... Gold or Bitcoin? on: November 23, 2019, 05:35:51 PM
This is a prediction. Gold has a long history and is a safe asset. Bitcoin appeared after the recession so there was no experience of overcoming the recession. I will spend 70% of my wealth on Gold and 30% on Bitcoin.

Everyone has their own take on what or where they want to invest their wealth. But for some people who want an assurance of their investments, they will go for gold but for those risk takers, they may give higher percentage on bitcoin. But at the end of the day, we make our own decisions because it is our money anyway. Just trust yourself because no one is to blame but you for whatever consequences it may be.

Bitcoin was created after the 2008 recession because its purposely made to survive because gold can't. If all fails including the fiat, you can't imagine yourself carrying a bag of gold when you travel from city to city. You'd be robbed the moment someone sees you buy something in exchange of a piece of gold you have. Put all your wealth on crypto because that's where the future is going.
1434  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Governements Projects and Futur of the Bitcoin Revolution. on: November 22, 2019, 05:56:39 PM
If you want better life for your kids we need to explain everyone what is decentralisation and what is gold purpose and bitcoin revolution, dont let them win this.
We have already buried decentralization deep down by the likes of KYC and other exchange policies that were introduced in recent years. Matter of fact, only a handful of people use bitcoin for what is intended to be used for. Most of the others use it for doubling their money and investments. For them, decentralization, anonymity, etc are far fetched topics.

That could be true but that's just part of all what government wants since we all want adoption, they may win on that part but once you get out of exchanges, there are project way decentralized that no one ever knew you but a wallet with coins on it. There are markets so decentralize that even if their website is hacked but the software they let us install isn't going to be hacked and that no government can interfere to it.
1435  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is this really a good plan? on: November 22, 2019, 05:07:58 PM

Well don't give up, there are still projects that deserves good support actually, they just didn't get much funds because the market is just not right. The timing to held a crowdfunding for a project while the market is in turmoil isn't going to make them survive even if the project will be on the exchanges. The reputation of the team and the project will still be at risk when price take a nosedive after it got into the market. If its the plan then its a plan. You can come back later when the market gets better.
1436  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best trading platform with it's own token ? on: November 22, 2019, 04:17:36 PM
As you already mentioned that BNB is a good option to invest in Binance exchange, there is one hybrid exchange which I think is good to use and it also has it's own token.
The token has been under performing lately due to bitcoin going down in price but I think it's quite potential in the long run.
I am talking about Eidoo token which has its own exchange called Eidoo exchange. It's also listed on coinmarketcap and had launched a campagin on bitcointalk too.
I do still have some Eidoo on my stash and im still holding those tokens even up to these days.I do also believe on this
exchange token potential but not really hoping or expecting too much.Success of token will always vary on how the exchange
perform or do make things on how they do market out just like on what Binance is doing and other top exchangers that do have
their own coins.

Eidoo is one of the successful project. Most of the tokens listed are ERC tokens. I remember the price of its token reached up to $4 last 2017, its really a good project with a hybrid exchange as what was written on their ANN thread. They focus more on the mobile app, though its good I'm certain not all people wants to hold a tiny piece of monitor to trade. Desktop installation of exchange platforms is going to be a much preferred way for its more decentralize, WAVES platform started to go into this direction and there were already few before them.
1437  Economy / Speculation / Re: Reason for current bloodbath on: November 22, 2019, 04:01:17 PM
Seem all are just manipulation including this news about binance office in Shanghai which is not really true and then there is this China disposing exchanges. Probably just a price manipulation to give another chance for the institutions who had not been investing more on BTC to get into it right now before its too late for them. Cryptocurrency is just too ripe for the picking and with the coming halving, this is got to be the whales message to say get on board!
1438  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When the market goes down remember this... on: November 22, 2019, 03:02:11 PM
Next bottom has to be below $3k, that's what you need to remember.
And where did this came from?
Any particular reason or explanation on this speculation.
I know that BTC and crypto is bleeding more often this past few months but is it enough to be back below $3K again?

It was the bottom back then, he must have believe it can drop that low again. Nobody knows, maybe. This is crypto if everyone sells, it could drop below that price. Who else doesn't sell when there is a chance to buy low at very low price tomorrow will miss the most of the opportunity. The chart may say its oversold but it can get very-oversold too.
1439  Economy / Speculation / Re: The 2020 Next Bitcoin Halving vs The 2016 One on: November 21, 2019, 04:16:05 PM
We can't just compare previous halving in my opinion. The situation is totally different, data is still small, and it's going to be harder, I mean to totally double the price it will took lot of money to come in the market. So most probably after next year's block halving, I'm not expecting a sudden jump, the price doesn't work that way, we really need some fundamentals to really push the market to even try to get in $20k, our last all time high during the bull season.
what you say is true that Bitcoin needs Fundamental that can really push prices, because if you just look at the previous Halving history it is less effective because at that time the price was cheaper. whereas at the moment the price of bitcoin is quite high with strong fundamentals investors will trust even though the price of bitcoin is already high. so that bitcoin can really be bullish.

Possibly the same pattern will happen, but we need to wait further for those chances to occur. Bullish run cannot be experienced yet due to few circumstances, but still there's hope for all of us. Don't give up and always trust the ongoing development which will surprise everyone of us in the near future.

The number of whales that had been running the show to pump and dump in the market may really delay price to go up since most of them are just trying to accumulate more BTC, snatching the coins from the ones that panic the most. You can imagine how much the marketcap could change in just few days. I really hope they all burn when someone out there going to buy the coin they dump so they will chase the price up.
1440  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best trading platform with it's own token ? on: November 21, 2019, 03:26:11 PM

BNB is the safest so far. I have acquired GATE token (GT) when it was very cheap and had just kept it hoping it may land to the moon just like BNB. The exchange is gaining some users so its something that I look up to because I once tried trading there for months. Submitting KYC to an exchange seem sacred to me so I just have to see some updates form them and if I sell their token, I won't have a reason to go anymore.
