1081  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How About Bitcointalk raise Money in BTC to Donate on fight against Coronavirus on: March 23, 2020, 06:14:25 AM
So we are now seeing big organizations already doing it and had been accepting BTC. Philantropist I guess will have more trust to these big organizations than sending thier BTC to someone not known for helping. The orgs can do it for those with big hearts.

If anyone can find the WHO and REd cross BTC or donation page where they post their BTC address, post the link here so OP can edit the first post. Maybe users can send any amount.
1082  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What old coins are you still holding? on: March 23, 2020, 05:49:29 AM

During the time hwen its about to die, people are going ot sell it at least they can get a fraction of BTC, they wouldn;t be waiting for it to fully shutdown. There are cases when they weren't able to sell I guess. Like the ETH DARK that end up scam but were still traded in cryptopia which we didn't have the chance to sell and withdraw.

Hard to revive a project that is already accused of being scam. Its best to just start from scratch.
1083  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Hive: The New Steem Community Hard Fork...Thoughts? on: March 21, 2020, 09:17:31 AM
I have earned most of my steem power through blogging and have never touched the power down button, so this hive airdrop is basically free thing.

I don't think Justin is going to give up Steem just like that while Hive also has notable people who can turn things around.

Only time will tell, I'm in for the ride.

Well he paid a high price trying to acquire steemit.  The community is divided so its best to just fork after all its meant to be independent. What was forked today might just be forked over and over since binance seem to have express they are supporting the hard fork. It may be listed to their market too. I'm not gonna be surprise if he will do the same like what do did to steemit.
1084  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Advice to everyone today on: March 21, 2020, 08:28:54 AM
Remember the financial crisis in 2008 when banks stopped customers from withdrawing funds? Then drip feeding tiny amounts to customers via ATMs. This is going to happen again, this time it will be worse.

Take your financial freedom in your own hands, Buy crypto today
How did you know that the bank will close withdrawals for all customers? Do you have an accurate news source?
If this is true it is good for crypto, but if not it will have no effect

He doesn't have a link to share, its just in his head.

Business goes on as usual. The fastfood restaurants that doesn't offer delivery since day one though are now offering the free delivery. Things change and businesses adopted almost instantly.  I can only see few walking around but business is going on and banks are allowing people to withdraw as long as lockdown goes on. The transport of goods aren't shutdown, everything look good still. Its just funny people talking from a distance like everyone has leprosy.
1085  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency fraud and scams on: March 20, 2020, 06:05:18 PM

We have an army of scam busters who are creating accusation threads every time they see scam to be projects. Often times they do have evidences of scam from whitepaper plagiarism to fame team members. There are still new scam these days which they normally look legit but in the end its a scam. Projects like the ones doing IEO on exchanges but after it, they will eventually delist the token.
1086  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What indicators to use? on: March 20, 2020, 05:45:32 PM
I personally think that Bollinger band is shit, I have used it many many times before and it never really fully works, whenever bitcoin does something major Bollinger band becomes totally useless. I think the best case right now for indicators are probably going under 200 or not, if that happens that usually means something but that changes very much, weekly averages drop under 200 all the time but you have to wait for the next week to see it and then it becomes nothing by that point.

Just go with the flow, check the supports and resistance and check the walls and how much there is and that is about all you can hope for, nothing else. Indicators are one part of the discussion, the global hype for when going down or up is the other and looking at indicators you can only see 50% of the situation.

What indicator do you use along with Bollinger band?

I didn't quite understand Bollinger band too but there are users who seem to be doing well using it. Someone recommend it and the link tutorial on how to use it in the forum can't remember where but I have bookmarked it. If anyone wants to try this out maybe this will help you too https://medium.com/interdax/an-introduction-to-trading-bitcoin-with-bollinger-bands-9e484db9353b

1087  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Safe Campaigns in the Altcoin sections to join. Dont waste your time with others on: March 20, 2020, 05:29:52 PM
Guys insure (SURE) is listed on vindax but unfortunately today I saw news that they delist the token because of lack of trading volume, actually insure is the next project I want to promote but now I'm not sure anymore

That's not good. Their reason is LOW performance in trading, this could mean there is low volume to the market. Anyone who has the coin should be withdrawing or sell them if there are still buyers. That's the thing about these new exchanges that accepts IEO, it seem like they only become a tool for scammers.
1088  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What indicators to use? on: March 19, 2020, 06:55:19 AM

Support and resistance line can be seen with fibonacci which I think is enough that you don't have to draw them every time there is a breakout.

Tradingview limits only 3 indicators for the free users. Two indicators are enough for you to decide what to do with your trade every time there is a signal. so combining RSI and MACD is enough.
1089  Economy / Economics / Re: A little good news for Asia on: March 19, 2020, 06:43:04 AM

Its only happening in Asia. Most of the markets are down so its too early to say the good news is here and that market recovers quickly. What is very astonishing is that some companies like Binance is giving away $50M to help other countries to develop blockchain industry. In times like this?

It didn't bother damn at all. Looks like we're seeing the most dominate company even when all are suffering.
1090  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is India Crypto Market Flashing Bull Run on: March 19, 2020, 06:02:20 AM

Binance is a rich exchange. After they give money to an African country just recently they also give their neighbors $50M, I wouldn't be surprise if this is also for the stable Indian ruppee coin. These Chinese exchange is gradually developing the countries where they have close ties with to be prepared to blockchain adoption.
1091  Economy / Economics / Re: South Korea quarantines and burn their cash due to Coronavirus on: March 18, 2020, 04:25:20 AM

The virus is spreading even in my tropical country, it can survive under the heat.
Yes but not with so much heat, As I read through some articles the corona virus we have now cannot live more than 60 centigrade. But our body temperature, they can support the virus.

If the government says thier banknotes won't have value anymore, it won't have a value and can be burned. Its how easy it is for the government to declare they're nada. But its not right to just do that, there is no real news about what the government gave to the owners in exchange for these banknotes.  Stablecoin?
Won't have any value? As far as I know South Korea are burning cash just because it is from local banks which is prone to inhabited by the virus and so burning is the only way to eliminate it. It is easy for the government to do this but this is an extra effort which I want to commend, this is an added measure to prevent the virus from spreading from hand-in-hand contact.

They were saying the Covid19 can mutate itself and can adopt whichever they can. There was an incident explained by someone I've seen on youtube where Covid19 affected an animal and then pass on to a human. And this means that it can live to mutate in any condition the environment therein, this is really a hybrid virus that can wipe out the people with poor health condition.
1092  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: bitcoin blockchain trilemma, who will solve it on: March 18, 2020, 04:16:34 AM

Almost all are experiencing this kind of future problem in crypto which is why the adoption is going to be take a long time until this will have a solution. Ethereum found a way like the Sharding but this however will also affect the decentralization like BTC as well.

There were technical discussions I've read that its going to take another technology because a project just can;t have it all but will risk decentralization and security inorder to achieve higher number of TPS.
1093  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which altcoins will grow in price faster if the market recovers? on: March 18, 2020, 03:47:49 AM

EOS is the first in my mind when it comes to bouncing back up. Obviously I'm an EOS fan though so I will always bet to the ones I like the most. Evidence shows how quickly EOS can recover again everytime it dips it can trace back after days. The current dip though is too deep so it may take time.

Many of you advise me to buy Ethereum. But the value of this coin on which the price growth depends is the appearance of successful ICO's on its platform. If they become popular again, then Ethereum will increase in price, otherwise everything will depend only on speculators.
And in relation to Bitcoin, Ethereum is still very weak.
If we will only base on success of the project using eth platform then the price of eth will be harder to back again.  Since we all know only few project have been  successful to raised fund with this market.
Other project not even get the softcap they target . What ever kind of crowdsale it is its very difficult now for them to survive and have investor's .

Loosing the trust of investors is the most diffult thing's eth platform have right now.

Until ETH still experience network congestion like it did last week, its hard to say its going to have a fair chance against the newer like TRON and EOS.
1094  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mouth work wonders in crypto on: March 17, 2020, 08:25:45 AM
Gone are those days where some well known person will talk about a coin or even advice people to hold and the price will shot for the sky, this things to work anymore in crypto space today, the last time I witnessed such was in 2018

Haven't seen such effect these days anymore, the big names in crypto are now even afraid to come out to say something. I haven't heard anything from them anymore like Musk and Draper. Some supported a coin but if you look at the coins they've been supporting, its also crashing. There isn't any coins that can survive this bear. Looking at their pages in coinmarketcap, they were already delisted in all the exchanges and Mcafee still in face palm.
1095  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Samsung Galaxy S20 Smart Phone will Support Bitcoin, Ethereum and TRON on: March 17, 2020, 07:29:26 AM

Its a development in crypto adoption. But you have every right not to use it. I'm using TRonlink to play games, not that I trust the wallet but I'm just playing casinos. The builtin wallet of S20 is probably just the start, there will be more wallets that you can just install though if you have more trust to the devs in the googleplay store.
1096  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which coin do you trust, BNB or ETH? on: March 17, 2020, 07:12:02 AM
After what happened to Steemit, some users are withdrawing their support to BNB anymore. Its like helping them acquiring some of the crypto projects in a wicked ways. What binance did is just not right. BNB tokens is a very centralize token, their BEP platform makes it more centralized. But for the love of profit I guess trust isn't going to be a question for some of us.
1097  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading, gambling and binary options. Which one you prefer? on: March 16, 2020, 05:35:44 PM
Binary trading is simply like trading the only difference is that you are betting at a certain time to where the direction of the trend. It can be learned well but there is broker who would do it in crypto these days, probably because of the transaction fees.  Binary trading platform with EOS.io will probably work best since transactions are technically free.

There are few today but are just p2p binary trading platform which one would bet to counter your bet, anyone tried it with https://game.bullsvsbears.io ?  The binary platform is with TRON.
1098  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of fraud crypto analysts! on: March 16, 2020, 12:37:20 PM

He admitted he photoshopped yet there are still people following pay to be just in his paid membership group! Sweet. This can be done and he doesn't even have to photoshop anything if he just go there in the Wall Observer thread and then posts in his twitter whatever is posted in that thread. Easy money for asking $10 for each member.

So much publicity for the drama of Canfield and King that cointelegraph has to publish an article about photo manipulation.
1099  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How would a global recession affect cryptocurrencies? on: March 15, 2020, 04:20:18 AM

It doesn't really feel like there will be recession though. Markets may be crashing but to regular people who doesn't have access to investments like stock or crypto, its just like regular year. But for those of us who lare aware of the markets, it made us panic. Selling your coins today would make sense than keeping it when it can't be spent to buy what you need in times of reccession.
