501  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 18, 2023, 07:08:20 AM
Lillard is still struggling in the preseason. In the game against OKC, they lost by 23 points, even after winning two big games earlier. He's shooting 2-11 and only managed to score 5 points in 24 minutes of play. I don't know anymore; it really feels like the system is taking a toll on his stats. His three-point shooting has been really off, with no makes out of 5 attempts.

The Bucks need to sort this out early since the regular season hasn't even kicked off. Hopefully, they'll find a way to get the old Lillard back and make some major adjustments if needed. After all, they brought Lillard in for a reason, and if they can't maximize his potential, I'm worried they might end up with the same fate as last season in the playoffs, or maybe even worse.

Things have taken a sudden turn for Lillard. This guy could drop 50 points in a game with his incredible 3 point shooting, but it looks like he's still struggling. Despite getting decent minutes, he hasn't been able to make the right adjustments to make his team look more exciting.

If his struggles persist, and his performance doesn't improve, Giannis might have to carry the team on his shoulders, which is no small feat, considering he's done it in the past. But I doubt it will come to that point, because Lillard is a born competitor. He won't allow himself to play at a lower level, which is the exact opposite of what he did back in Portland.

There is this current surge of Bitcoin boom going on in my place and I feel like am left behind and so I have been asking alot of questions and some of my colleagues are actually tired of me because I ask alot of crazy questions some time.

Perhaps, you'll be doing that because you wanted to know more about Bitcoin but trust is somewhat hard to develop if your mind is full of negative thinking and asking unnecessary things that make your friends tired of you. Besides, you can't blame yourselves for thinking you're behind already because you keep on asking without even experiencing to gamble some money into it. And I will tell you that it makes no sense to ask what Bitcoin is all about if you don't want to take risks.
503  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I was ripped off on: October 17, 2023, 12:45:25 PM
I sent a guy a down payment on a car. I use a program called Electrum. After I sent him the money I figured out I was being scammed. Do I have any recourse? Any way to recover my money?

I don't want to say this but what you gonna do for now is to move on as you can no longer take back.
What happens to you serves a lesson not only for you but for everyone, especially for newcomers. This is all about TRUST and most of the time we get scammed by someone we think can be trusted even though we just met online in just a few days. I'm not against it but if we talk about money and investment, we should be cautious in dealing with them. That is why I suggest seeking advice from those people we trusted the most when dealing like this.
504  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Some gambling questions. on: October 17, 2023, 11:15:40 AM
How many percent of signature earnings you gamble away?
My salaries 5%.

Your answer is your salary? You should not answer that question anyway as you aren't in a signature currently, unless you have other accounts enrolled in a campaign. Some consider their earnings in a signature campaign as a salary, but not me. I consider my earnings in a signature campaign as a bonus for being active in the forum. Hence, I can use it to enhance my activity in the crypto space. With my earnings, I can use it on different gambling sites and play different games. I only take it when I earn a good profit, and as for the percentage, I think I go all in.
505  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: October 17, 2023, 08:14:18 AM
Speaking of JB guys, Ginebra seems to be dropping JB on their roster and is now trying to find another import as replacement. Sad for the Brgy. Ginebra fans, I mean for all of the fans because he have lifted the Gilas during the Asian games and brought gold home.

I just read the news, and it seems that Ginebra is no longer contesting the test results. They will accept what happened and look for a replacement for Brownlee. Now, this is a different ball game without Brownlee, so let's see if Ginebra is still the team to beat. By the way, is Rondae Hollis-Jefferson (RHJ) playing as an import for any team in the PBA?

Not good news for Ginebra fans, but if you look at the other side, this could create a more unpredictable conference. Brownlee is known to be a dominant import, having won Best Import awards and championships. It's also a change for the network, and I hope the channel they'll transfer to will provide a clearer reception, as TV5 has not always delivered that for us. But for those who rely on Facebook streams to watch the game, this should not be a concern.
506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What do you think? Selling all or not on: October 16, 2023, 09:31:39 PM
Have seen a lot of threads talking about the bull market, and everyone making comments.
I don't think selling all bitcoin in the bull market is a good idea. Why? Knowing the fact that the next bull price will still come as bitcoin continues to grow, so I don't think selling all my bitcoin in the bull market is the best.
Everyone is holdle bitcoin in the bear market and planning to sell in the bull market, now, when finally, the bull market  comes should I sell all my bitcoins and prepare to accumulate from afresh in the next bear market again? or should I keep some percentage to continue the accumulation?
Just do what you think is right but for me, I sell them all and accumulate again when the bear season comes.
In fact, the reason why we are holding it is to wait for the bull season and sell them to make a profit, therefore, that is the thing we are supposed to do, right? And I will tell you that holding forever never makes you earn which is why there is selling activity happening in the market because people are making trade in order to get their money. Buy Low, Sell High - that is pretty simple.
507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you ever feel tired of waiting? on: October 16, 2023, 02:04:36 PM
.., many people are using borrowed money to invest in bitcoin thinking that they can make profits or get rich from bitcoin quickly. So they will also sell their bitcoins when the market is volatile or the bear season lasts. In short, it can be said that people who are impatient and bored with holding bitcoins largely lack knowledge and experience about bitcoin. But that is also the rule of investing, we cannot expect a market where everyone holds and only sells when the price increases. So who will sell bitcoin at a low price for us to buy and who will buy bitcoin at a high price for us?
It is a big mistake...I understand their courage to invest in Bitcoin but that is not the right way as we can't assure that the next day we can earn a profit already. So, what next to happen is that they will sell them in order to pay their debt.
Waiting is not a simple thing to do, not all can do that really. As I observed, those people who solely rely on Bitcoin seem to be the ones who can't make it.
Of course, I feel tired as well so I am selling some. Maybe it was wrong but for me, it was the best thing to do rather than making myself stressed.
508  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Low cost but effective solutions to gambling addiction on: October 15, 2023, 01:14:55 PM
It's a choice between spending money on therapy or finding ways to treat your gambling addiction without any cost. Many of us have battled with gambling addiction, and based on my personal experience, staying busy with other activities was key. If you solely focus on gambling, it's easy to become addicted, and it gets worse when you keep losing money. Some people even go to extremes, like selling their personal belongings or resorting to theft. Thankfully, I haven't been in that position.

Having friends and family is essential because a gambler can't overcome addiction alone. It's crucial to open up to them and spend time with them. Just being with loved ones can divert your attention from gambling, which is the root cause of the problem.

Although the approach may vary from person to person, it's always important not to fight this battle by yourself.
509  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 15, 2023, 12:45:02 PM
I know it's only preseason but I will be the first to admit I might be wrong about wemby.  Dude is a monster.  I thought he might not he strong enough to hang inside in the NBA and think I'm wrong after watching a couple of preseason games.  Now I know the regular season is very different he looks like he has the goods to hold up.  Hope the kid stays injury free to see how good he can get.  That's the worry with these big guys
I wish so too. Injuries suck. It can ruin anyone in their early career, I mean look at Zion having trouble getting the trust back from his own fanbase in New Orleans or outside. Then there's Greg Oden, a big waste of a big man because of injuries too. 7 knee injuries, the biggest bust of all time as they call it.
Wemby is so tall, that one bad injury in the lower part of his body could mean his career getting done. I do wish he could take care of himself like other tall guys did. I bet Timmy will help him with that, I hope. So that the Spurs can get back on track and win championships again.
There's a lot of hype about Wemby and I think he is living up to all that hype about him, for now. Let's just hope that he will remain being healthy while still being aggressive on the basketball floor.

Yeah, it's really bad with a basketball player didn't reach his full potential because of nagging injuries, like Zion in the last 2-3 years wherein he will start the season very healthy and suddenly goes out. Or even Lonzo Ball, we really don't know if he can comeback as himself, although there are players like Klay and KD who make a great comeback after torn meniscus.

So let's just hope that Wemby, with his trainer and strength coach can do wonders with him and prevent him from experiencing a injuries. So it's important as well that his support system is there for him as they have a huge investment on this kid and hope that one day it could reward them by winning championship again for the franchise.

Wemby is currently an asset for the Spurs, but they had a rough last season, so they're eager to come back strong. Injuries are unfortunately a part of the game, and you need some luck to avoid them. Wemby is a big guy, and it seems like big men, when they get injured, tend to have a tougher time coming back quickly. Sometimes, they even need an entire season to heal, just like Davis, or Chet, who missed the entire season when he got injured during a preseason game, if I recall correctly.

Let's cross our fingers that Wemby stays injury-free because injuries can really dampen the excitement and fan expectations. Even though the NBA remains entertaining, it's a different kind of entertainment when all the teams with superstars are healthy and competing throughout the season.
510  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: is there any safe ways out there to get 10-15 % ANY return rate ? on: October 13, 2023, 10:37:51 AM
is there any safe ways out there to get 10-15 % ANY return rate ?

as far as banks i noticed maximum 5 %

crypto exchanges upto 15 %   - but are they safe to put money there ? like nexo , kucoin ?
Safe? Everyone is looking for that but too unfortunate that we can never find it here in crypto investment. We can possibly earn more than the amount that local banks can offer to us but if we are looking for safe assurance, crypto seems to be not the right place to stay. Crypto investment has been known not for its profit potential but also because of its volatility and risk. Dare not to try if you are afraid to lose because it is useless to invest when the later part you will sell your investment at a loss.

But if you have to force yourselves then I would suggest just buying Bitcoin only, not altcoins.
511  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pacquaio vs Mayweather 2 rematch on: October 13, 2023, 02:39:23 AM
And with that, the rematch will still make money, but it will not be the same as the last fight or at our imagination that they could have fought when both are still in their prime. And I will still go with what others might have think if this fight is going to happen or they both push for it. This will be exhibition match and only after fo r the money because they know that fans are willing to pay for them to be in the ring again.

It's important to remember that this is merely an exhibition match, so we shouldn't set our expectations too high. Both fighters are past their prime, and that might work to their advantage, with both of them likely to be slower. Mayweather may not have the mobility he used to, which could create opportunities for Pacman to connect with his powerful punches. I'm confident that Pacman still has faith in his abilities, considering he even offered to represent in the Olympics.
512  Other / Off-topic / Re: Learn to be safe and secured online on: October 12, 2023, 12:56:29 PM
Well, everyone's concern is all about fund security. Unfortunately, with the advanced technology that we have these days, hackers have taken advantage of the situation while many people who are too careless fall into their tricks. We can't rid of them either nor stop them from hacking - and that was the reality. As we are in the crypto space and online investment, we could assume that we are ready and dare to face the vulnerability of our funds to hackers.

We can never be surprised that one day our wallets will be empty but having deep knowledge on how to secure our wallet somewhat gives us a bigger chance.
513  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you manage your finances and family if your income is low range? on: October 12, 2023, 12:08:03 PM
We'd rather not think big and add more unnecessary stuff.
 - because at the moment we aim high, being jealous of others for their luxurious life, and the tendency to compromise our finances.

That is why we should be certain of our expenses and keep them low. It was very difficult honestly and many things could be sacrificed. A reason why we shouldn't make our life too easy and contented with having that situation if we know that there is a way to help it out and live even better.

514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2022–23 PBA Commissioner's Cup on: October 12, 2023, 03:27:04 AM
Another update outside the PBA, it's the EASL tournament.

EASL: TNT loses steam in blowout loss to Chiba Jets

I didn't catch this game, but it seems like our struggles in this league continue.

Here's the boxscore of this particular game.

Quote
Chiba (93) - Brown 19, Stephens 19, Kanechica 18, Okura 12, Mutts 9, Nishimura 6, Ogawa 6, Togashi 2, Arao 2, Kaishu 0, Sekiya 0.

TNT (75) - Miller 22, Hollis-Jefferson 15, Khobuntin 15, Castro 12, Montalbo 4, Heruela 4, Reyes 3, Flores 0, Ganuelas-Rosser 0.

Quarterscores: 21-22; 45-44; 71-56; 93-75.

I'm just curious about the rules, is it really a specific PBA team that will have represent or they can't be mix with other teams?
515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: October 12, 2023, 02:21:41 AM
I'm surprised that the Celtics starting players including Jrue Holiday and Kristaps Porzingis played over 40 minutes in today's NBA preseason game. It seems like they're treating this as their official warmup for the upcoming NBA season, as typically in the preseason Star players only average around 20 minutes per game.

Who the fuck is this guy Dalano Banton played 40 min with 0 points. Lmao
Against? Are you talking about their game against the Sixers where they won? I tried to find the game where both Holiday, and Porzingis played for 40 minutes, and I can't find any of their last 3 pre-season games. Like you said already, most of the stars are playing only for at least 20 minutes or even lesser, to prevent getting injured. At the same time, this pre-season is the perfect time for those role players to step up, and put themselves in the rotation of the team.

I also did a quick search on how many minutes this Banton guy played, and the most is 30 minutes against the Knicks. I don't also know what game are you saying where he played 40 minutes with 0 points. Share it here. Smiley TBH, I'm not watching these pre-season games since most of the stars aren't playing. I'd rather wait for the regular season to start. Wink That would be more exciting to watch.

Against the Sixers. It appears there might have been an issue with the NBA Preseason stats on Google since I made that post.
I was originally planning to post this image when I saw the current stats of that game.

This is what I saw when I checked the current statistics for that game in Google NBA preason Stat: My bad. Didn't actually watch the game.

https://talkimg.com/images/2023/10/12/RtrcT.png

The minutes played are just ridiculously high, which is a glaring red flag. These are seasoned players, and we're well aware of their scoring prowess. It's baffling to see them clocking over 40 minutes on the court and still managing to put up less than 20 points. That's when you really start questioning the accuracy of the stats.

Here's another alternative, i think they logged the correct statistics.

516  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Time to invest AI coins? on: October 11, 2023, 10:38:06 AM
Yes, I see now kind of every project that is getting introduced now in the crypto space is having integration with AI. I think this is the time now as it is the new trend. We have seen with initial phases of ICO, IEO, meme, and defi all were successful and gave good returns. Having said so, we need to be cautious as these are crypto projects with too much volatility. We can invest some amount accepting the risk to ride on the wave.
Invest earlier and sell earlier - that is the way to earn profit from this coming hyped projects. Yes, just like ICO, IEO, and Defi, they've just got a short period of time in the market and make early investors make a good sum of money but latecomers suffer losses as they'll though that keeping them long will give them profit. Very unfortunate but this can possibly happen to AI projects that is why we should be wise and invest with caution and must keep updated.
517  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Stop Trading on: October 11, 2023, 10:01:41 AM
You know, you will definitely know that it’s time to stop trading when your losses have outnumbered your winnings. Trading is not like gambling that you are always bound to lose, but it can even give you bigger chances of making you in profits especially if you have the knowledge and skills to trade. But not everyone is as good as the other. Some traders are experiencing the best of their trades, while others are living miserably with trading. If you are feeling like trading is not helping you at all, then better leave trading for good while your losses are still in controlled.
Losing 7 out of 10 trades, was an indication already that trading seems to be not our destiny and it makes no sense to continue trading if we only just lose. We may see some people are successful in trading and hope we can be like them as well but sometimes, things we hoped can't happen as well and this is because not all of us are capable enough to trade. In fact, a lot of people got into this trading but only a few went successfully, and this tells us that trading is not for everyone. We can of course assess the output of our trades and we are the ones to decide whether to pursue our trading plan or quit.
518  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Nowhere is safe? on: October 10, 2023, 09:33:48 PM
With hacks occurring more frequently these days, I would strongly emphasize the importance of security. Whether it's a decentralized exchange (DEX) or a centralized exchange (CEX), no one is immune. First, we witnessed the Mixin incident, and now it's Galxe. It's crucial for everyone to assess the security measures of any platform before entrusting their funds. We all bear the responsibility to conduct thorough research before investing our hard-earned money
That is the point of not storing our funds on exchanges as they are prone and targeted by these hackers. Even big exchanges are not safe and it was encouraged not to store it in a single wallet but to spread it. Yes, with the recurring hacking incidents, the more it causes panic to the holder who might be thinking of withdrawing their funds instead of keeping them there.
As we are aware of this situation, the more we become careful about storing our keys, visiting sites, and most of all, not clicking links sent by unknown persons.

Welcome back to the NBA preseason! Time to dive back into some betting action. By the way, I'd like to get the attention of @stadus to unlock the NBA 2020-2021 betting thread so we can start sharing our picks, seeking advice from the experts, and more. Also, if it's not too much trouble, could you update the thread title? I get that you might want to show off how long it's been around (just kidding), but it would be great if we could align it with the current season. Thanks!
520  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Tszyu vs. Mendoza Confirmed for WBO Title Showdown on October 15th on: October 10, 2023, 01:40:34 AM
Tim Tszyu is the defending champion and will be fighting in his own backyard. Both fighters have a similar level of competition but Tszyu is undefeated. They each have a similar knockout percentage. It looks like an evenly matched fight but Tszyu is the more talented fighter and I expect him to get the win. With Charlo still holding the other three belts, it would be logical to see him face the winner.
It kind of depends on the quality of the opponent, you know? Tszyu's taken on some tough fighters before becoming champ. But who can say for sure? Mendoza's still a quality fighter. And if you check out the odds set by the bookies, it's pretty clear that Tszyu's the big favorite here. I mean, as a heavy favorite, those odds aren't all that attractive anymore, right?
